DDG Reflects On He & Halle Bailey Becoming Parents, Jokes About Difficulty Keeping It Secret

DDG joked that fans of him and Halle Bailey need to look into “detective work” for being able to figure out they were expecting. He reflected on welcoming his first son, Halo, with the actress in a vlog post on YouTube titled, I’m A Dad Now…, on Sunday.

“I’m a dad. I’m a dad, y’all,” he began the video. “I have a son — I have a baby boy. He’s a newborn. He was actually born last year [but] we were just waiting on the right time to basically break the news or whatever. It’s been a lot of speculation.” From there, he joked fans should quit their jobs and look into “detective work,” because of the rumors about the pregnancy. He added: “It’s a blessing and I love him so much. I barely know him and he barely know me. We barely know each other. I just love him so much and it’s just a different type of feeling.”

Rihanna says that she loves ASAP Rocky “differently” now that he’s a father and that it’s a “major turn-on.” She reflected on their relationship as parents during an interview with Access Hollywood at the launch party for the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty. They share two children, RZA, 19 months, and Riot, four months.

“I loved him differently as a dad. This is major, major like, it’s a turn-on,” she began. “It’s just like, ‘Wow! What a leader, what a great, patient, loving (dad). And my kids are obsessed with him. This time, someone online was taking aim at her for her parenting. “Solo hasn’t looked over Julez since 2014. She is completely disconnected from that child,” one particular tweet reads in reference to the R&B singer’s 19-year-old son. But fans quickly came to her defense to point out how little anyone actually knows about her personal life.

One particular quote tweet read, “the internet is such a weird place because this sentiment is being expressed off ig comments and paparazzi pictures is wild. and this is exactly why I am appreciative of how limited she is now, some of y’all are really insane,” the response reads. In the comments of a report of the tweet, even more fans came to Solange’s defense. “Imagine trying to piece together someone’s life strictly based on what they post on social media weird,” one of the top comments on the post reads. “he fact that some of y’all be so obsessed with these celebrities to the point yall create scenarios in household you don’t live in is insane,” another commenter agrees.

Solange has been quiet musically for quite a while now. Her last studio album When I Get Home dropped all the way back in 2019. She’s released almost no new material of any kind since. VH1 recently dropped off some clips from For The Fellas, which airs December 15, showing Saucy Santana opening up about having kids in the future. He got vulnerable, revealing that if he had a son, he’d prefer that he wasn’t gay. The artist says that although he doesn’t see anything wrong with it, he knows the world can be cruel, and wouldn’t want his child to go through what he has.

“If I had a son, I wouldn’t want my son to be gay,” he explained. “And, not because nothing is wrong with it but because of everything that I went through.” He went on to describe how he doesn’t look at it as “self-hate,” as he loves himself “more than anybody,” but simply doesn’t want his child to endure the same trauma as him. “It’s just not easy,” Saucy Santana said, “I want better.”

Tyga Completes Court-Ordered Parenting Class Amid Blac Chyna Custody Battle

Earlier today, it was reported that Tyga has officially completed his court-ordered online parenting class amid he and Blac Chyna’s custody battle over their son, King Cairo. The news comes only days after Blac Chyna reportedly completed her own parenting class, a requirement for custody disputes. The reality star filed for joint custody of the 11-year-old back in July. She also requested that the artist start paying her child support, claiming that she’s yet to see any since the child was born.

He fired back, claiming that there’s no reason he should have to pay her. According to him, he cares for King Cairo throughout most of the week, in addition to paying $40K per year for the child’s schooling. In response to Chyna’s filing, Tyga also filed for full custody of their son. Blac Chyna claimed that she didn’t know where his filing was coming from, calling it “sad.” She further expressed interest in developing a healthy co-parenting relationship with the performer, as she feels it’s what’s best for the elementary schooler.

Reportedly, Blac Chyna also wanted to settle their dispute outside of court, but her former partner refused. “You have obviously more money than me,” she explained on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast in October. “Why can’t we just settle this stuff outside of court, like [by] talking to you? He didn’t wanna do that, so now I have to go to court… We both don’t need this… The whole world’s watching, and it’s like, ‘We could’ve just had a conversation, man.’”

Ice-T Opens Up About Parenting: “They Grow Up With You”

During a recent interview with People, Ice-T opened up about his parenting style. The 65-year-old admits that the way he and his wife Coco raise their daughter is unconventional, however, he says it works for them. He also shared his thoughts on the 50th anniversary of hip hop, claiming that it’s a genre that brings different generations together.

“The thing about hip-hop is beside being 50, it’s one of the few musics where parents are almost in the same culture as their kids,” he explained. “The only thing is our generation, the early generations, we refused to let our kids be cooler than us. We’re like, ‘You think you understand hip-hop, but you’re not from that golden era.” He went on, revealing what he believes to be the key to parenting.

“The key to having kids is having parental guidance — not necessarily parental control, but guidance to help them understand what it is,” Ice-T says. “My daughter was listening to 2 Live Crew and whatnot. My son used to sing Wu-Tang Clan without saying motherf*cker, and it was amazing.” He adds, “When you talk, it’s kind of like they grow up with you and you share that common bond which is beautiful. It’s beautiful.”

Although the way Ice-T raises his kids is far from the norm, he’s not worried about criticism. “You got to remember this: for anything anybody says about me and Coco, there’s a million billion people that are like f*ck that,” he explains. “So are you gonna listen to the negative? I always say you’re insulated by love. You got so many people out there that love you. You can’t pay attention to the idiots, you know?” He also says that his 7-year-old daughter with Coco, Chanel, is just a “normal kid” enjoying social media. “It’s fun and she likes doing it,” he explained, “We’re not afraid of anything happening.”

LeBron James & Savannah’s Parenting Applauded After Son Bryce’s Fan Interaction

As innocuous as it may seem, just a simple video of a fan interaction goes a long way when determining a celebrity’s politeness and demeanor. What’s more is that it’s just as strong of an indicator of how that person’s parents raised them. Moreover, many people online are giving LeBron James and his wife Savannah their flowers after a clip emerged of a fan approaching their son Bryce at a Target for a picture. The man says he’s a huge fan and then poses for some time to take some pictures with him. While the fan is “throwing up Blood,” Bryce said that he’s doing none of that as he laughs and poses for the picture.

Of course, with an online consensus like that, people are bound to point out inconsistencies in it. For example, while the fan is posing after already taking several pictures, Bryce pulled out his phone and started fiddling on it. Maybe LeBron James didn’t emphasize the importance of giving people full undivided attention enough, but when someone’s brandishing gang signs next to you on your shopping trip, maybe it’s not so important. Regardless, it was still a comical and wholesome moment in which Bryce comes off as respectful, appreciative, and humble.

While there was plenty of hate, some users did defend The Game. “Stop posting ppl kids for adults to ‘have an opinion’ on them,” one commented. “Some of y’all never met your Dad. Stop it.”

Eventually, the rapper took to the comments section of the post. “She my kid. 1/2 y’all kids got snot frozen on the outside of they nose but you tryna weigh in on the parenthood of mine… my kid in private school wearing uniforms makin straight A’s.. we good over here,” he wrote.
