There’s no denying that Rihanna has been a style icon for decades. Long before she was more directly involved through her own brands. she was still seen as an influencer and innovator in the fashion space. Earlier this week she was in attendance for the launch of a new collaboration between Fenty and Puma. The collaboration focuses largely on shoes with a multitude of earth tone color variants, but while there RiRi was willing to talk all things fashion.

In an interview with Vogue. Rihanna discussed some of her most evocative outfit. She opened up on how growing older and becoming a mother has changed her presentation style. “I’ve done so much sh*t in my life. I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out. But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mom and an evolved young lady — emphasis on ‘young’ — there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, ‘Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?’” she says in the interview. In other portions of the interview she discussed other notable fashion moments, like her famous Guo Peng dress from the 2015 Met Gala. Rihanna also spoke about new music while at the event, just not her own. Fans have been awaiting new material from the pop star for years now as her last project Anti dropped all the way back in 2016. But when she discussed new music she was actually talking about A$AP Rocky, for whom it’s also been quite a while since he dropped new material. She confirmed to fans that he is, in fact, hard at work on a new album. She didn’t say anything about when it may actually be released though.

As harsh as it sounds, it’s the price of being a Stan of such a successful artist. Still, Rihanna seems committed to eventually making her comeback, but life’s just been so vibrant and hectic for her as of late. Elsewhere, the 36-year-old is also making strides with her PUMA collaborations, although an Instagram mishap resulted in some trouble for the company. She’s maintained a tight grip on the entertainment world, which ironically seems to have strengthened since the release of ANTI back in 2016. The longer Rihanna waits, the more that the myth builds and spreads, no matter the reason for a delay of lack of releases. Maybe what we need is some time away from the headlines before she strikes.

ASAP Rocky Is The Star Of Rihanna’s New Fenty Skin Lux Balm Campaign

Most Rihanna fans accepted years ago that the pop artist would be shifting her focus to her Fenty Beauty line. But it looks like ASAP Rocky may now be doing the same. Today (January 4), Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty shared a new advertisement for the brand’s new Lux Balm.

The clip features Rocky in a video montage rocking the balm, and showing off tubes of the product. In the background of the clip is a portion of Rocky’s song, “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)”

“Flossy, glossy / Nah, b*tch, this ain’t lip gloss / balm up in my palm collab’ / New with my baby mom,” raps Rocky on the song.

According to a description of the balm. “This juicy, Barbados Cherry-powered lip balm packed with vitamin E + shea butter brings dry lips back to life with instant hydration”

In recent time, Rocky has appeared in many fashion campaigns, including some for Gucci. However, he still continues to tease new music. In an interview with Dazed Digital, he opened up about his long-awaited fourth album.

“I’ve been really experimenting as usual and what I like about this is it feels like my best work yet,” said Rocky.

The Lux Balm is now available at Sephora and Kohl’s stores, as well as FentySkin.com.

Rihanna Shares Her Favorite Songs Of The Year To The Delight Of Afrobeats Fans

While fans are waiting on Rihanna to record some new music, she appears to be spending plenty of time listening to other’s songs. When an interviewer caught up with her during a recent Fenty x Puma event she had some thoughts on her favorite music of 2023. At first, she’s asked about her album of the year, which she doesn’t exactly have an answer for. She describes herself as more of a streaming singles girl than an albums girl and instead suggests some of her favorite songs of 2023.

In particular, she lists two tracks she’s had on repeat. Those songs are “UNAVAILABLE” by Davido and “Mnike” by Tyler ICU. In the comments of the video, fans praise her taste in afrobeats. “She has GREAT TASTE IN MUSIC!!!,” the top comment on the post reads. “Mnike is so good Rihanna is an amapiano warrior,” and “Nah fr cuz UNAVAILABLE is still on repeat” two other comments read. Some new Rihanna music might be on the way soon, though it isn’t coming from where fans expect. Video of RiRi dancing to a song from the new Nicki Minaj album Pink Friday 2 made the rounds online. The clip made enough noise that Nicki herself responded. She announced that there was yet another deluxe edition of the album coming out but it couldn’t be released until Rihanna turned in the vocals for a feature on the updated project.

RiRi hasn’t revealed when she’ll drop new music. But she did make a revelation about what will come next whenever she does. In a recent interview, she confirmed that a tour will follow her new music. Rumors have begun to circulate that she and beaux Asap Rocky are working on expanding their family, but the couple has two confirmed children as of today.

Yesterday (December 18), before the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party in Los Angeles, California, Rihanna opened up about her journey through motherhood so far. While chatting with Access Hollywood (around the 1:30 mark), she confessed that she let go of all expectations going into it but was seemingly looking forward to passing on her distinctive forehead to her children.

“You don’t have an idea [when you picture your future family]. I hoped that I could have kids one day. And I hoped that I could have them in love. I hoped I could be a part of a family that breaks generational curses… it’s happening, and I can’t believe it,” said Rihanna.

She continued injecting some humor into the conversation. “The only thing I imagined was probably the forehead on RZA,” said Rihanna, referring to her oldest son.

“Riot doesn’t have it. I’m like, wait, are you sure? You can’t lose this thing,” giggled the singer.

Rihanna says that she loves ASAP Rocky “differently” now that he’s a father and that it’s a “major turn-on.” She reflected on their relationship as parents during an interview with Access Hollywood at the launch party for the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty. They share two children, RZA, 19 months, and Riot, four months.

“I loved him differently as a dad. This is major, major like, it’s a turn-on,” she began. “It’s just like, ‘Wow! What a leader, what a great, patient, loving (dad). And my kids are obsessed with him. I’m just a background, I’m an extra. Yep! It happens! … It doesn’t matter if it’s girls or boys, they love their dad differently and I love to see it.”
