Add DJ Khaled to that list, as the new video for his ‘Til Next Time single “Supposed To Be Loved” presents pint-sized versions of the producer and his guests Future, Lil Baby, and Lil Uzi Vert.

Created in partnership with Nickelodeon — where Khaled is an eternal fixture thanks to his past participation in the Kids’ Choice Awards and willingness to get slimed for a good cause — the kid-friendly video sees TikTok star Julian Shapiro-Barnum interviewing the actors about love in the style of his popular “Recess Therapy” videos. Their answers are typically innocent yet astute and hilarious and their performances are likewise adorable (its pretty obvious they only barely know the words, but they make up for it in enthusiasm). The Lil Uzi stand-in even has a little costume gem glued to his forehead. The video also premiered on Nickelodeon,l ikely giving Khaled a little more cachet with his own two kids.

Most scandalously as of late, Alexa Nikolas of “Zoey 101” claimed that she and the Jonas brother met when they were teens. Allegedly, he still made certain advances on her despite his public-facing abstention of sexual activity he had at the time.

“I met Joe Jonas when we were teens and let’s just say he’s the guy who wore a purity ring but asked for nudes,” Alexa Nikolas tweeted. They’re now both in their 30s, and it’s unclear exactly when this supposed request happened. Still, it contrasts with the public image Joe Jonas and his brothers had, as they all wore purity rings when they blew up until 2013. It’s an aspect of the band that was a big talking point for fans and spectators, even though Joe later admitted that he lost his virginity before they publicly put the rings away.

Kodak Black Auditioned For Nickelodeon As A Child

Kodak Black is best known for his rapper and his music. He has five studio albums, which date back to 2017. His best-performing album was 2018’s Dying To Live, which was the year-end #1 album. His most recent album, Pistols & Pearlz, peaked at #19 after being released in April 2023.

Now we know that Black wanted to be a rapper from a young age. He began rapper in elementary school and recording at a local trap house. Furthermore, he would read the thesaurus to increase his vocabulary. However, new footage that is being circulated online shows that at one time, Black had another passion – acting.

In a video that has done the rounds in recent days, a young Kodak Black, or at least someone who has been claimed to be a young Kodak Black, reveals that he is coming home from a Nickelodeon audition. “Yeah, auditioning with Nickelodeon ’cause you know a new show coming out, feel me. Just, just stay tuned. I’m gon’ be on there. I know how to act.” It’s unknown when the video was shot. However, we can make some educated guesses. Black appears to be around 8-10 years old in the video. That would put the video around 2007-2009. This is a pretty lucrative era for Nickelodeon. Here is a list of every Nickelodeon show that was in development between 2007 and 2009:

  • Mr. Meaty
  • Just For Kicks (However, this was a show about a girl’s soccer team so maybe not)
  • Just Jordan
  • The Naked Brothers Band
  • iCarly
  • True Jackson, VP

None of these shows feel perfect for the video. However, if dated right now, the video also came out at a time when Nickelodeon wasn’t great about casting Black actors or having prominent Black characters in their shows. However, if Black is 8-10 in that video, those are the “new shows” on Nickelodeon around that time. Obviously, Black’s audition was unsuccessful and he focused on rapping from a young age. However, it’s a previously unknown insight into the young rapper’s life.

Amanda Bynes Remains Hospitalized After Being Placed on Psychiatric Hold

Amanda Bynes has chosen to remain hospitalized in a psychiatric facility. The troubled former Nickelodeon star was placed on a psychiatric hold three weeks ago. It was last month that authorities found Bynes wandering naked and alone around downtown Los Angeles. Furthermore, police were able to determine that Bynes had been living on the street for some time. Bynes was initially placed on a 72-hour hold. However, the hold was later extended to further evaluate Bynes’ needs. There is currently no word on when Bynes will be discharged from the hospital.

TMZ reports that medical staff is taking Bynes’ stay on a week-by-week basis. Sources close to Bynes told the outlet that she is free to leave. However, the “What a Girl Wants” star has decided she isn’t ready yet. Additionally, Bynes will attend outpatient therapy when she does decide to leave. The incident in Los Angeles is just the latest chapter in more than a decade of struggles for the 37-year-old. Bynes’ legal woes began in 2012. During that year, she was hit with two separate charges of driving under the influence. Additionally, she was also with two hit-and-run charges that same year.

Bynes Has Faced Previous Struggles

Furthermore, Bynes began concerning fans with her public behavior. In 2013, she began posting bizarre rants on social media. It was later that year that Bynes was first placed on a psychiatric hold. Additionally, she would again be hospitalized the following year. Bynes would go on to announce on Twitter that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Moreover, those close to Bynes believe she was manic when she was discovered by police last month. Additionally, Bynes was previously under the conservatorship of her mother for nine years. The conservatorship went into effect following her early troubles in 2013.

However, Bynes is not alone. An outpouring of support has come from fans and stars across the entertainment world. Moreover, two of the stars to publicly show support to Bynes are fellow “All That” alums Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson. Bynes was a mainstay for kids who grew up during the 90s. Her runs on “All That” and “The Amanda Show” won her fans all around the world. It is heartening to hear that Bynes has chosen to prioritize her mental health. However, on the red carpet before the award show, the rapper caught up with Young Hollywood who asked him who he was most excited to see. “I heard Lil Baby’s going to be here,” he said. Then, the reporter asked what song he’d want to perform with Lil Baby if he had the chance. “He has a lot of great songs, like, I never heard a bad song from Lil Baby in my life ever,” he added. “But we have a song and I would love to perform it with him.”

Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Baby have worked together on a few records in the past. The two linked up on My Turn highlight, “Commercial.” Prior to that, Lil Uzi Vert appeared on Lil Baby’s Harder Than Ever project on the Gunna-assisted, “Life Goes On.” Perhaps, we’ll get to hear more from Lil Baby and Lil Uzi Vert. Lil Baby Received Blowback From His ‘California Breeze’ Performance At The 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards

The 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were staged at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 4. Lil Baby avoided getting slimed, unlike fellow performer Bebe Rexha, but a select few viewers were a little green about his performance.

Apparently, Baby’s top-10 Billboard Hot 100 hit “California Breeze” didn’t belong on Nickelodeon because of its explicit and suggestive lyrics, which were censored for the young audience. (How dare Baby perform under inflatable palm trees and bring his two young sons on the stage with him?)

The squealing kids in attendance couldn’t get enough of Baby, but reviews on the internet were mixed. Some people didn’t understand the backlash given The Weeknd’s past controversial nomination for “Can’t Feel My Face,” very obviously about cocaine, at the Kids’ Choice Awards; others didn’t understand how Nickelodeon allowed Baby on its airwaves.

Baby didn’t have time to pay attention to the criticism, as if he’d care anyway, because he also performed across town at Rolling Loud California on Saturday night.

Before this weekend, Lil Baby performed “California Breeze” and “Forever” featuring Fridayy on the January 28 episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Michael B. Jordan.

Baby dropped his “Forever” video on February 27, squeezing as much juice as possible from last October’s It’s Only Me. His third studio album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, making it his third career No. 1 album.
