Cardi B Thinks Offset’s New Album Should Win A Grammy

Offset is fully in new album mode. After teasing the second single from his new project earlier this week, he also shared a release date for the project. Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the project as it’s less than a month away. The former Migos rapper took to Instagram to announce that his album would be dropping on October 13. It’s his first new album since 2019’s Father Of 4 which has an all-star cast of features in Big Rube, J. Cole, Gunna, CeeLo Green, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Cardi B, Quavo, and Gucci Mane.

Speaking of features, Offset’s new album will also contain some pretty notable names. While the full feature list hasn’t been completely confirmed fans already know some of the artists who will appear. Travis Scott, Future, Latto, and Chloe Bailey are all confirmed to be on the album. The album is also expected to feature the final track Offset ever recorded with Takeoff before his death. Another artist who will appear on the record, unsurprisingly, is his wife Cardi B. The couple collaborated on the project’s lead single “Jealousy” which plays on their public image.

Cardi B Calls Offset’s Album Grammy Worthy

Clearly, Cardi B is excited about the pending release of the album. After the announcement, she took to her Instagram story to hype up the project. “FINALLY….This album is so good…I believe is Grammy-worthy….So much time ,passion ,love ,sweat and tears put into it,” Cardi says on her Instagram story.

Offset already has one Grammy nomination under his belt and fittingly enough, it’s a collaboration with Cardi B. The pair’s collaboration “Clout” was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 2020 Grammys. Ultimately the song lost to Nipsey Hussle, Roddy Ricch, and Hit-Boy’s song “Racks In The Middle.” Offset’s newest album will be eligible for the Grammys that take place in 2025. What do you think of Cardi B’s lofty claims about Offset’s new album? Let us know in the comment section below.

Diddy Explains The Reassigning Rights Process Has Been Ongoing For Years

Over the weekend Diddy released his new album The Love Album: Off The Grid. He’s been teasing the project for weeks and it features a stacked collection of collaborators. The-Dream, Busta Rhymes, Swae Lee, Summer Walker, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Justin Bieber, Jazmine Sullivan, Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, and many more appear on the album. The Weeknd’s appearance in particular drew plenty of attention as he announced earlier this year that it was his final ever feature. He appears on the track “Another One Of Me” alongside French Montana and 21 Savage. Savage and The Weeknd have proven a strong pairing after their collaboration with Metro Boomin “Creepin’” became a big hit earlier this year.

Alongside the release of the album, Diddy sat down on The Breakfast Club to discuss a variety of issues. One of those is the process of reassigning publishing rights back to some of his artists. A few weeks ago it was made public that artists like The LOX, Ma$e, The Notorious B.I.G, and more were having the publishing rights to their music given back to themselves or their estates. In the interview, Diddy explains that criticizing the Grammys was what made him first realize that he needed to begin the process of reassigning rights. “I had to look from within,” he explains. Check out the full interview below.

Diddy Explains Reassigning Publishing Rights

In the interview, Diddy explains that he felt giving back publishing rights was “the right thing to do.” He also claims that the actual process itself began two years ago. He says that he signed the papers himself a while ago and everything since then has been legal processes.

Not everybody is impressed by this gesture though. One of Diddy’s former artists Mark Curry found the move to be mostly performative. He pointed out that the publishing rights had very little value now and that the gesture was somewhat meaningless. What do you think about Diddy’s more detailed explanation of the reassigning process? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nas’ And Lil Wayne’s Bars Will “Never Die” Out

Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, better known as Nas, is back with his third album of 2023. The 50-year-old’s work ethic is unlike anything we have ever seen in the history of the genre. Since 2020, he and his partner in crime, Hit-Boy, have released tons of music. In fact, this is their sixth album in a row. Furthermore, the duo has gone on to complete two trilogies in this span. The first one to reach finality was the King’s Disease series, which wrapped up on April 28, 2023. Now, the Magic continues with the third and last installment. God’s Son released this album on his birthday no less so you know he had to end things on a high note.

The Queens, New York icon did just that, with Magic 3 being the lengthiest project out of the trio. It features a tracklist of 15 cuts with a runtime of 45 minutes and 50 seconds, to be exact. What is also impressive about this album, is that Nas and Hit-Boy handle all of the production here. That speaks to how great Nas is because his rapping across this project is rock solid all the way through.

Listen To “Never Die” From Nas, Hit-Boy, And Lil Wayne

There is plenty of quality here, but one that might stand above the rest for most listeners is “Never Die.” It is the sixth cut off of the record and it possesses the only feature which is Lil Wayne. These two do not have a long work history with Nas appearing on the “Outro” of Tha Carter IV (Complete Edition). Even with their short track record both trade some truly incredible flows, wordplay, and bars on this punchy three-minute song. Some of Wayne’s bars are below, but Nas goes off too. “This my Tom Cruise flow, top gun, they too slow / Computers ain’t fast enough to keep up with Nasty ’cause.”

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new track from Nas, Hit-Boy, and Lil Wayne, “Never Die?” Is this the best song off of Magic 3? Who had the best performance on this track? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Quotable Lyrics:

Uh, icons, steppin’ on pythons
Spittin’ that cayenne, eat ya like Zion, peakin’ at the skyline
Reachin’ for the stars like I’m reachin’ for the pylon
I seent ya on the sideline, we need to walk a fine line
We need to read the guidelines, instead of readin’ the timelines
Why everybody like wine? Nobody flow like mine

Nas And Hit-Boy Complete Another Trilogy With “Magic 3”

Fans of Nas can breathe a sigh of relief, for now. Back on September 9, New York’s finest shared a teaser trailer of sorts to his Instagram account. It showed static from a television, then went to black with words being typed out to reveal, “THE FINALE.” Many people were freaking out thinking Nas was about to retire from rap, but those qualms are subsiding because that message hinted at something different. The cryptic note was referring to him dropping the final project in the Magic series with the third installment.

To celebrate this accomplishment in the best way possible, Nas decided to release this album on his birthday, September 14. Furthermore, this is now the sixth collaboration album between him and legendary producer, Hit-Boy. The duo’s work relationship is one that will go down in the history books as one of the greatest to ever do it, collectively. Since 2020, Nas and Hit-Boy have completed two trilogies with the King’s Disease series completed earlier this year. Now, the same can ring true for Magic as it goes out with a bang.

Listen To Magic 3 From Nas And Hit-Boy

Hopefully, Nas and Hit-Boy continue their camaraderie because the two have accomplished so much for each other. But, for now, we have this chance to relish Magic 3. This contains the largest tracklist of the three with 15 songs and clocking in at nearly 46 minutes. Additionally, this project contains the least amount of features with just one, but that is okay because Lil Wayne trades bars with him on “Never Die.” Nas’ and Hit-Boy’s legacies will “Never Die” after this incredible run of great beats and amazing lyricism.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new album, Magic 3, from Nas and Hit-Boy? Which set of trilogies is better, this or King’s Disease? Is this the best project from the Magic series? Which songs are you enjoying the most right now? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts in the comments section below. Bad Bunny’s New Album May Arrive Later Than Expected

Bad Bunny’s interview with Vanity Fair dropped recently, and saw him opening up about his romance with Kendall Jenner, his inspirations, and more. Of course, he also discussed his new music. It was reported that the Puerto Rican performer planned to drop his next album sometime this year, however, some new text messages appear to suggest otherwise. A screenshot of the texts seems to show Bad Bunny asking where he confirmed the new album’s coming in 2023, and claiming that he never said that.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that the album won’t arrive this year. It just may not be as set in stone as fans previously thought. As expected, supporters eagerly-awaiting his next project have made their disappointment known on social media, taking to Twitter to weigh in. “NOOOOOOOOOO,” one commenter writes. “Aw man!” another social media user says.

Though Bad Bunny’s new album might be arriving later than fans had hoped, it is sure to pack a punch. Bad Bunny said he feels more connected to this album than others, and it could be his most vulnerable yet. “Now more than ever,” he began. “I feel more confident in talking about what I think, what I feel, and how I am living through my music.”

As for his rumored fling with Jenner, the 29-year-old kept his lips mostly sealed. He took the opportunity to instead call out fans expecting to know every intimate detail of celebrities’ personal lives.
