Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy”: The 7 Funniest Remixes

Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” diss looks set to stay amid Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef. Metro was at the center of the feud that shook the hip-hop world and continues to dominate discussions. It was on Metro and Future’s We Don’t Trust You album where Kendrick first aimed at Drake and J. Cole. After Drake responded with “Push Ups” where he delivered the now iconic line, “Shut yo a*s up and make some drums,” Metro made things spicier by releasing the diss beat “BBL Drizzy.” The song’s title is a reference to Rick Ross’s repeated claims that Drake had butt lift surgery.

At that point of Drake and Kendrick’s beef, the internet was already going crazy due to several allegations the rappers made against each other. With the world debating what was true and which of the rappers was winning the beef, Metro, who is also feuding with Drake, had his say in the proceedings. The “BBL Drizzy” beat samples the AI-generated parody song of comedian King Willonius. In addition to the beat, Metro gave fans the chance to get involved in the rap beef by urging them to do a verse over the beat. The producer tweeted, “best verse over this gets a free beat just upload your song and hashtag #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway.”

Later, Metro updated the contest, offering the winner $10,000 and a free beat while the runner-up gets a free beat. “BBL Drizzy” went viral after its release on SoundCloud, racking up 3.3 million streams within a week. Many people jumped on Metro’s contest, sharing their verse on the diss track to much amusement with remixes coming from across the world. So far, there have been a great number of “BBL Drizzy” remixes, but here are seven of the funniest we’ve seen.

7. The Merengue Beat Version

Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” beat has gone global, and if there needed to be proof of that, it came via the Merengue remix of the viral diss beat. After Metro gave the world a chance to jump into the beat, the Latinos responded with a truly remarkable version. Saraida and Jalen, known as “eauxfamily” on TikTok, helped popularize Sammy Andaluz’s Merengue version of the “BBL Drizzy” challenge. The clip showed Saraida dancing to the beat while Jalen sat and watched, laughing as he did. The couple’s baby daughter was also present in the video. The little tot sat on the wooden floor and watched her mom dancing. The Latino version of “BBL Drizzy” features lines like “El Drake BBL, El Drake BBL.” It also samples the “OV-HOE” chant from Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us.” So far, the video has 2.8 million views on TikTok, showing its popularity.

6. My Favorite Color’s “BBL Drizzy” Remix

Content creator My Favorite Color didn’t need a second invitation to jump on the “BBL Drizzy” beat. My Favorite Color, who seemingly has some issues with Drake, used the diss beat as an opportunity to respond to the 6 God’s “The Heart Part 6.” In his remix, My Favorite Color called Drake’s response weak and told him he was no longer welcome in Los Angeles. My Favorite Color also emphasized the allegations that pedophile allegations against Drake, sharing a screenshot of the rapper’s 2009 tweet that read, “If amazing was a young b**tch I’d be going to jail…cause I’m f****ing amazing.” Besides Drake, My Favorite Color also aimed at Lil Yachty in the three-minute long diss video.

5. “BBL Drizzy” Stadium Rock Remix

The “BBL Drizzy” diss beat is not exclusive to the hip-hop genre. Proof of this came when TikToker @lucasss_i used his exceptional skills with the guitar to deliver an incredible stadium rock version of “BBL Drizzy.” Sporting a white T-shirt and cream-colored cargo pants, the headset-wearing Lucas let his hands and guitar do the talking in his remix. His video has since garnered over 1.6 million views on TikTok and was reposted by Metro on X.

4. RXK Nephew’s “BBL Drizzy” Remix

Rochester, New York-based rapper RXK Nephew doesn’t believe Drake and Kendrick’s beef is legit. Also, he doesn’t believe the famous rappers have the street credibility they claim to do. However, RXK Nephew still jumped on the “BBL Drizzy” beat despite his reservations because of his fans. In his remix, he called out Kendrick for going against Drake. “How you gon’ beef with a n***a with a BBL? / Leave that n***a alone ’cause you ain’t doin’ no better,” he raps. Nephew received accolades from his fans for jumping on the beat and speaking his mind humorously about the Drake and Kendrick beef.

3. Depressed Cowboys Fan’s “BBL Drizzy” Remix

One of the “BBL Drizzy” remixes that caught Metro Boomin’s attention is from Depressed Cowboys Fan, with Twitter handle @traphouseSports. The content creator left everyone in stitches with his “BBL Drizzy” remix, prompting Metro Boomin to tag his entry as “the funniest one.” TraphouseSports’ video included disses at Drake, J. Cole, ASAP Rocky, Jerry Jones, Deshaun Watson, and Kendrick Lamar. The content creator had multiple hilarious bars in the remix. “Drake eyebrows ’bout strong as a b**ch/ If he get too surprised sh*t might cause a glitch,” he raps. He also spits, “J. Cole dress like a crackhead’s wishlist.” Shading Kendrick, TraphouseSports rapped, “They say [K] Dot has to jump before he sit down.” TraphouseSports’ entry generated multiple hilarious reactions with some fans going as far as tagging him the winner.

2. The TroyVone Remix

Another hilarious “BBL Drizzy” remix that is doing numbers on TikTok is Troyvone’s entry. Responding to a fan’s plea for him to make fire bars to “BBL Drizzy,” TikTok content creator Troyvone duly obliged and delivered an impressive and hilarious video. In his entry, Troyvone held onto a laptop that showed images emphasizing what he was rapping about. He also threw multiple slingshots at Drake. Some punchlines include, “Kendrick tied him up so bad Aubrey screaming ‘unhand me’/ Aubrey let’s play would you rather God’s Plan or Plan B?” So far, Troyvone’s video has racked up 5.5 million views with his fans pleased he heeded their request to join the trend.

1. The NemRaps Version

TikToker Nemraps’ “BBL Drizzy” remix is everything in one. NemRaps’ version is funny, has catchy flows, and tells a story, all in 49 seconds. The video shows NemRaps acting as Drake’s surgeon. He then raps to Drake about his family, surgical procedures, and ghostwriters. The clip ends with Drake responding to his surgeon via the “BBL Drizzy” refrain while NemRaps uses scissors to cut something off his patient. Metro Boomin also reposted Nemraps’ version, which has 12 million views on TikTok.

OVO’s Baka Not Nice “Weird Case” Controversy: Breaking Down The Allegations & Conviction

Travis Savoury, the rapper better known as Baka Not Nice, has been riding with Drake’s OVO Sound crew for years. But Baka Not Nice also comes with a lot of controversies relating to his criminal background. . In the early 2000s, he did time for armed robbery and assault. He’s also got an assault conviction from 2015 for putting his hands on his ex-girlfriend.

However, the reason Baka Not Nice has become a social media study case can be traced back to 2014. Following Kendrick Lamar’s scathing “Not Like Us,” Drake and the OVO Crew have been viewed in a grimy light. The chart-topping diss track points a finger to Baka’s arrest back in 2014, on allegations of human trafficking and firearm offenses (“Baka’s got a weird case, why is he around?“) K-Dot highlighting the dodgy allegations surrounding Drake and his crew involving minors has put a spotlight on each individual. So what exactly happened with the charges and convictions against Baka Not Nice? Has K-Dot opened a can of worms in OVO’s basement?

Baka Not Nice’s Background And Rise

Before he was rapping, Baka was moving as Drake’s security guard, so they went way back. Even with all the aforementioned legal drama, his career kept soaring higher and higher. He even had guest vocals on Drake’s albums, Nothing Was The Same, and More Life. Then, in 2017, Drake made it official and signed Baka to OVO Sound as one of the label’s artists.

The 2015 Assault Conviction

So here’s what happened with that 2015 assault conviction: Baka Not Nice pleaded guilty to assaulting a 22-year-old Toronto woman, who was reportedly his on-and-off again girlfriend at the time. The story was that, in 2014, Baka got drunk and passed out at home while food was burning on the stove. She started yelling at him about it, and Baka’s response was to push her to the floor. The following week, she called the police on him.

For the incident, Baka Not Nice pleaded guilty to the assault on his ex, and in exchange, some other unrelated firearm charges were dismissed. But the court still hit him with a 6-month prison sentence for the crime, though since he had already been locked up for 11 months after first an initial arrest in 2014, he was free to leave the court.

Human Trafficking Allegations

The reason Baka Not Nice was initially arrested and jailed for 11 months in 2014 was over some extreme allegations of human trafficking. Allegedly, he forced that same 22-year-old ex into prostitution. Notably, those human trafficking and prostitution charges were eventually dropped. This is because the woman in question refused to testify against Baka in court. Evidently, Baka Not Nice maintained his innocence throughout the whole case. Nonetheless, those horrific accusations are pretty damning for his character and reputation.

OVO’s Response And Public Scrutiny

Throughout all this, OVO and Drake have mostly stayed tight-lipped about the case against Baka Not Nice. Neither party really addressed the human trafficking allegations. Unsurprisingly, some fans have questioned the hypocrisy of keeping Baka around after that mess, especially since Drake boldly alleged that Kendrick was violent towards his fiancée. Evidently, Drake does not mind OVO co-signing a man with these skeletons in his closet. For example, while speaking on signing Baka Not Nice, Drake said, “When [he] got out of jail there was a lot of different paths he could’ve took and he decided to focus on music.”

The Aftermath And Unresolved Issues

Even with the human trafficking case dismissed, the stench of those allegations lingers around Baka Not Nice. While he’s still signed to OVO and moving forward with his rap career, the recent beef between Drake and K-Dot has dug up questions about him and his past life. The fact remains that Baka took a plea deal for assaulting his girlfriend. To many, that alone ought to have made OVO think twice about keeping him around.

Baka Not Nice Previews New Music Following Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Diss

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s lyrical feud may have fizzled out for now, but evidently, its ripple effect continues to be felt throughout the industry. On Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” diss, for example, he went after Drake and his OVO Sound crew. He accused the Toronto-born performer of being interested in underage girls, and of employing predators.

“They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs/ And Party at the party playin’ with his nose now/ And Baka got a weird case, why is he around?/ Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles,” he rhymes. His mention of Baka Not Nice and his “weird” case captured listeners’ attention, prompting them to do some digging into the rapper’s history

Baka Not Nice In The Booth

Before signing with OVO in 2017, Baka worked for Drake as a security guard. A few years before that, he was arrested for allegedly forcing a 22-year-old woman into prostitution. In 2015, he pled guilty to assaulting the same woman, who he was reportedly in a relationship with at the time. The woman chose not to testify, so his charges for alleged prostitution were dropped. He went on to spend six months behind bars for his guilty plea.

Baka hasn’t released any solo music since 2019, however, it looks like he has some on the way. In a new clip, he’s seen cooking something up in the booth. While some social media users are eager to hear what he’s working on, others are clowning him for his arguably bad timing, though the extra attention could end up working out in his favor. What do you think Baka Not Nice is cooking up? Do you think it could be a response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss? Are you looking forward to hearing it? JT Flaunts Her Curves In A Neon Bikini, Teases Upcoming Album “City Cinderella”

JT is still hot off of the success of her latest single “Okay,” and luckily for listeners, she has even more on the way. Yesterday, the City Girl turned solo star took to Instagram to tease her upcoming mixtape, City Cinderella. She first announced the project in March. JT shared a series of flirty photos, posing in a neon pink and green bikini top. She paired the sultry swimwear with denim shorts and a pair of light-up pleasers.

In a few other photos, JT is also seen performing onstage in New Orleans as part of her first-ever solo headlining tour. As for the album, she’s yet to confirm an official release date, though it’s expected to arrive sometime this year. Aside from her latest track, the Miami-born rapper has already given fans a taste of what’s to come with her singles “No Bars” and “Sideways.”

City Cinderella Is “Coming Soon”

Last week, JT even unveiled a new extended edition of “Okay,” unleashing several fierce new bars directed at her fellow femcees. While she didn’t call out anyone by name, she recently engaged in a heated Twitter feud with Sukihana. They went at it over the OG version of the song, which some thought included a jab at the Baddies star. JT denies this, though their unhinged back and forth made it clear they’re not on good terms by any means. “To be clear h*e, this for you, you and you (p**sy),” JT rhymes. “You ain’t a threat or a f*cking goon. City Cinderella coming soon.”

Some fans have even speculated some tension between her and the other half of City Girls, Yung Miami. This was only compounded this week when the Caresha Please host left a suspicious comment on a post about JT and Sukihana’s feud. What do you think of JT’s flirty new photos? Meek Mill Vs. 50 Cent: What Reignited The Beef?

The year of the rap feuds keeps giving. Fans are still not over Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef, and now it seems Meek Mill and 50 Cent are on the brink of renewing their own clash. Tensions between Meek and Fif have escalated recently, putting them on a collision course. Meek Mill is known for not backing down from conflicts, and 50 Cent is notorious for his blunt remarks and trolling. But how did their feud return to headlines after all this time?

March 2024: Meek Mill Named In Diddy Lawsuit

Meek Mill found himself mentioned in a high-profile lawsuit filed by producer Lil Rod against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. This sparked rumors about a possible sexual relationship between Meek and Diddy. Soon after, comedian Andrew Schulz made a joke about Meek Mill’s sexual orientation during a stand-up routine. 50 Cent wasted no time trolling Meek Mill amidst the chaos. He subsequently shared a clip of Schulz’s joke on his Instagram account. He captioned the post: “This guy is funny as hell, @andrewschulz, check him out. This wasn’t even the best of his set. Some people just got it! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

Meek then responded with a tweet on X. He wrote: “The first time I laughed at being gay. But don’t wit me in real life—I may swing, lol.” Despite the situation appearing to be under control, Meek Mill frequently had to defend himself against persistent rumors about his sexuality. He also faced another controversial issue when he was accused of following a gay porn account on X. Meek vehemently denied these allegations, suggesting it was part of a smear campaign against him. After this, things seemed to cool off… until May.

May 12, 2024: The King Combs Diss Track

On May 12, King Combs, Diddy’s son, released a song called “Pick A Side,” targeting his father’s critics. In the track, he specifically called out 50 Cent for mocking his father and the Combs family amid the various allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking. 50 Cent swiftly trolled the track by sharing images of the alleged victim’s injuries on Instagram. Meek Mill, however, criticized 50 Cent’s reaction, accusing him of feuding with a child.

In a series of now-deleted tweets, he expressed his disapproval. “Because your federal the street n***as in queens know that’s why you tryna pick on a lil boy,” he began. “Your own son hate your guts lol I’m so grateful to be on an island with my son and his friends on his bday… Ya’ll niggas, 50 online beefing with kids…” According to HipHopDX, Meek concluded his rant by labeling 50 Cent as “mentally sick” and “a rich parasite.”

May 13, 2024: Is The Beef Over?

In typical fashion, 50 Cent responded, mocking Meek Mill’s low album sales and sexual orientation allegations. He captioned the post: “You sold 6k copies your last project, you should not be on vacation. Still chasing the dream or embracing the nightmare. Standing by your man, that I respect!”

In his response tweet, Meek deflected the allegations that his latest project was a flop. He wrote: “My last project sold 90k first week expensive pain …Ross did that last cd for fun to let me out my contact cause we rich and have some type of history! It’s different lol i don’t even know how Cuban was talking to you ya swag is extremely wack!”

Sadly, it seems his response didn’t hit as hard as he hoped it would. Furthermore, 50 Cent wasted no time to respond, putting an end to his side of the beef. He posted a video of Meek Mill and Diddy at a party, and captioned it: “I commend you for being a strong supportive woman for your man meek, stay by his side and together you guys may have a good life. GOD BLESS!”

Tina Knowles Reveals Why Beyonce Educating Her Fans Through Music Can Scare Her As A Mother

Tina Knowles says that her daughter Beyonce’s commitment to educating her fanbase through her music can scare her at times. Appearing on the Naked Beauty podcast, Knowles recalled Beyonce’s iconic performance at Coachella in 2018, which she later documented for the film, Homecoming.

“What I’m so proud of that Beyonce does constantly– whether it was Black Is King, showing African culture in such a beautiful, royal way– and she gets a lot of heat for it all the time. She’s always pushing the envelope and making conversation happen. And I remember her telling me at Coachella, because I was like, ‘I don’t think those people got it tonight.’ I was in the front and I was like, ‘When you start doing all that fraternity stuff,’ I was like, ‘They were looking so confused,’ and I was like, ‘This girl came and asked me, was the Black national anthem your new single.’ And I said, ‘They not getting it. You not connecting and I’m really worried.’”

From there, she recalled Beyonce saying, “‘Mom, some people will get it today, some people will get it next week, some people will get it next year, but I want them to go research what that is, what that means, and I want them to understand it and create conversation. I feel like I was put on this earth to do that. Not just to be an entertainer but to ring the bell and get people educated.’” Knowles added that it makes her scared as a mother for her daughter to be handling it all.

Chip Proves He Has No Beef With Central Cee On “C Freestyle”

Last week, Central Cee dropped “CC Freestyle,” spitting fiery bars over Flukes’ classic grime instrumental. Only a few days later, his fellow British rapper Chip took to social media to tease his own new song, “C Freestyle.” Fans were quick to notice similarities between their titles, and the fact that they used the same beat, prompting them to speculate. “Ask anybody born after ‘95 who made them wanna jump on grime they tell you it’s me,” Chip rapped in a short snippet, captioning it, “IT CAN GET GRIMEY.”

Almost immediately, listeners began to suspect that Chip might diss Central Cee, egging him on in his comments section. “Central Cee count your days my guy,” one X user wrote. “Need to see Chip put Central Cee in his place,” another said.

Chip Unleashes New Track Amid Central Cee Beef Rumors

Just before dropping the song, however, Chip proved the rumors to be false. He shared a photo of him and Central Cee to promote the song, making it clear that there’s no bad blood. At the time, Central Cee left a heart emoji in his comments section. Upon the release, he put the rumors to rest once and for all, giving Central Cee his flowers and clarifying that he actually finds his success inspiring. “I ain’t one of them olders hating, I tell Central that I rate him,” he rhymes. “His progression’s motivating.” Cench is even featured in the track’s accompanying music video, which Chip shared a snippet of on Instagram yesterday. “THAT’S 3 C’S UP CC,” he captioned the clip. “@CENTRALCEE BATTERED THIS BEAT HAD TO TAG IN.”

So far, listeners are loving “C Freestyle,” and many are glad that he opted to team up with Central Cee instead of dissing him. What do you think of Chip’s new track? Ja Rule Clowns 50 Cent As Timberwolves Lose 3-Straight To The Nuggets

It’s unlikely that 50 Cent and Ja Rule’s hostility will ever disappear. The two NYC rappers have been at odds for 25 years with several different chapters of their beef. The rival’s latest battle is about the NBA playoffs. Last week, 50 Cent joked about Ja Rule cursing the New York Knicks after a video of Ja and the Larry O’Brien trophy went viral. Knicks players started dropping like flies, and 50 Cnet agreed with fans saying Ja cursed the Knicks. Now Ja Rule has fired some shots back at 50 Cent after the Timberwolves have dropped three straight to the Denver Nuggets.

50 Cent tweeted on May 9th, “Oh s### [eyes emoji] don’t bet on the Knicks to win this next game. This janky ass [ninja emoji] put his juju all on the team. F### that I’m bet my money on the [Minnesota Timberwolves]!” He also reposted fans asking Ja Rule to keep his Knicks support secret after cursing the team. 50 Cent, who has a partner shop with the Minnesota Timberwolves, was targeted by Ja in retaliation after the 50’s bandwagon team continued to lose the games.

Ja Rule Calls Out 50 Cent After Timberwolves Latest Loss

Ja Rule answered 50’s insults on Wednesday morning. The rapper brought up the fact that the Timberwolves had fallen short against the Denver Nuggets in three straight games. “The Wolves haven’t won since this tweet!!! 50 you f###### MUSH. Ant-Man [Anthony Edwards] stay away from this goofy, he a fed anyway… [rolling on the floor laughing emoji] [orange heart emoji] [blue heart emoji],” Ja Rule tweeted. The 50-Ja beef will never end. Now, they are using NBA teams to throw shots at each other.

In the Western Conference Semifinals, the Denver Nuggets now have a three-game lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Ja Rule and 50 Cent’s local team, the New York Knicks, led the Indiana Pacers 3-2. Overall, the Timberwolves and the Knicks being proxies in the 25-year-long feud between 50 and Ja is pretty funny. Let’s see whose team ends up surviving to the next round so we can see who is really cursing who.
