Jadakiss Replaces Diddy On AI “It’s All About The Benjamins” Remix

It goes without saying that Diddy’s reputation has taken a massive hit in recent months. Aside from facing various lawsuits from individuals accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and more, he’s also at the center of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Matters were only made worse last month when security footage of him abusing his ex-girlfriend Cassie at a hotel in 2016 surfaced online.

He’s since apologized for his past behavior, though most agree that it did little to mitigate the public’s explosive reaction. As a result, he’s been dropped by several brands and former business partners. Now, he’s also been kicked off of one of his own songs, thanks to Cipha Sounds. Recently, he dropped a reimagined version of Puff’s 1997 track “It’s All About the Benjamins,” featuring AI Jadakiss instead of Diddy.

Cipha Sounds Drops “No Diddy” Remix Of “It’s All About the Benjamins”

Cipha Sounds revealed why he created the “No Diddy” remix in a video on Instagram earlier this week, explaining that it all stems from his current legal trouble. “P. Diddy is canceled. Whatever cr*zy sh*t happened with him, that’s over there. I’m talking about Hip Hop-wise. As a DJ from New York City — I’m on 94.7 The Block — they telling me I can’t play P. Diddy’s music no more,” he said. “I can’t play ‘All About the Benjamins’?! Are you cr*zy?! How am I even supposed to live as a DJ in New York City and I can’t even play ‘All About the Benjamins’? You need to understand, ‘All About the Benjamins’ is one of the greatest Hip Hop New York songs ever recorded!”

He went on to explain that Jadakiss wrote Diddy’s verse on the track anyway, so he didn’t see any problem with using technology to do what he had to do to keep it in the rotation. Childish Gambino Wants To Focus On Fun After Drake & Kendrick Lamar’s Viral Feud

Childish Gambino is currently gearing up to drop one final album under his moniker, Bando Stone in The New World. It’s expected to arrive sometime this summer, though an official release date has yet to be confirmed. The release date for his new single “Lithonia” was leaked earlier this week, however, revealing that the track drops on July 2. In the meantime, the hitmaker took to TikTok Live to share some details of the upcoming project, claiming that his goal is to provide listeners with something he thinks society needs more of.

“The problem is, we’re not having enough fun. So this rollout that’s coming, it’s mostly about fun, I’m trying to have fun,” he began. “I feel like there’s just people not having enough fun […] When I was a kid, there were big things that would unite us, and I just feel bad for y’all. This generation just does not get — y’all get, like, bad stuff. Everything that everybody can get in on is usually f*cked up.”

Childish Gambino Teases Bando Stone In The New World

He went on to use Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s infamous lyrical battle, which has easily become one of the most viral moments in hip hop of this year, as an example. “Even this year, the most fun we’ve had was from a fight. A song from a fight, from a rap beef,” he explained. “Which I enjoyed every minute of. It was very fun. But still, kinda negative in a certain light, I guess.” Of course, his remarks have fans even more eager to hear what he has to offer on Bando Stone in The New World.

What do you think of Childish Gambino claiming that this generation needs to have more fun? Do you agree or not? What about his take on Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef? Sexyy Red Teased The Long-Awaited Release Of Her ‘F My Baby Dad’ Video With A Hilarious ‘Maury’-Inspired Trailer

Sexyy Red’s run of ratchet excellence continues with a Maury-inspired teaser for the long-awaited video for her fan-favorite single “Bow Bow Bow” — better known as “F My Baby Dad.” For those of you too young to have caught the lowbrow classic daytime talk show while staying home sick from school, host Maury Povich would often have guests on the show with paternity disputes that the show would then “resolve” (with a disclaimer protecting the show from any liability for false positives) with Povich’s signature catchphrase “you are/are not the baby’s father.”

The whole thing was equal parts hilariously entertaining and depressingly gross, making a spectacle of desperate, low-income people for their lack of “class” and decorum — basically a precursor for today’s more slickly presented modern reality TV. What can I say, it was the ’90s.

With that being said, Sexyy Red knows her audience and owns the characterization with tongue firmly in cheek, presenting the song’s guest feature Chief Keef (with whom she’s been rumored to be having a fling) as the dirtbag potential baby daddy. She even jokes that “I’m pregnant rn” in a tweet sharing the teaser, which … seems unlikely, but isn’t out of the realm of possibility, considering she just had her second child and isn’t shy about her (ahem) proclivities.

You can watch the “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad)” video teaser below.

Childish Gambino Puts Alleged “Lithonia” Leakers On Blast

Earlier this year, Childish Gambino announced that his final two albums under his moniker are on the way. He went on to deliver a reimagined version of his 2020 LP 3.15.20. in May, Atavista. Now, fans are waiting on Bando Stone in The New World, which he previously said would drop this summer.

Earlier this week, a release date for the project’s lead single “Lithonia” was revealed. At the time, it was said that the heavily teased track would arrive on July 2. Unfortunately, however, fans got the news a bit sooner than Childish Gambino would have liked. Recently, the hitmaker took to Instagram Live to share his reaction to the release date getting leaked, blaming streaming platform Audiomack. Needless to say, he wasn’t happy about it.

Childish Gambino Addresses New Single Release Date Leak

In a clip from the Live, Childish Gambino explained his frustration, also arguing that leaks like this are part of the reason fans don’t get more new music from their favorite artists. “That’s another reason why y’all don’t get good sh*t. Like, it’s just for what? It’s like we don’t treat… It’s not valuable enough like it’s just a single… And I know who did it, Audiomack. F*ckin’, no soup for you, you’re not getting the album now. That’s what time I’m on.” He ended the stream after that, leaving viewers with several questions.

It remains unclear exactly what this means for the release of “Lithonia,” or for the rest of Bando Stone in The New World. With that being said, fans can only hope that this won’t impact the rest of the project and that they’ll still get to hear the new album this summer. What do you think of Childish Gambino’s recent response to his “Lithonia” release date getting leaked earlier this week? Are you looking forward to hearing Bando Stone in The New World? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Militarie Gun’s Entrance Music For Post Malone In ‘WWE 2K24’ Will Make You Want To Get In The Ring

Militarie Gun is taking their signature “ooh ooh” to the ring.

The Los Angeles-based punk band, who released one of the best albums of 2023, provided a new lyric-free song as Post Malone‘s entrance music for the WWE 2K24 video game. “Gun Under The Gun (MFG)” has the trademarks of a Militarie Gun stomper, including a killer riff and, yes, a “ooh ooh.”

You can listen to the song above, and watch Post Malone’s entrance video below.

Militarie Gun singer Ian Shelton talked to New Noise Magazine about how the collaboration with Posty (who’s a fan of the group) came to be.

“I focused on finding iconic elements and figuring out how to make it my own. A wrestling intro needs to start big and iconic, get more aggressive, and then go heavier. That’s how the song ended up — starting big and spacey, then more aggressive, and finally half-time for a total beatdown,” he said. “It’s such a strange crossover and an even stranger song to accompany such a crossover. It’s a very fun thing to put out into the world and see what people think.”

As for why Malone didn’t use one of his own songs as his entrance music, Shelton thinks it’s because “he wanted something that sounded like a wrestling intro, something aggressive, which his own catalog doesn’t necessarily have. He gave us the shot because he believes in us.” Maybe Militarie Gun can join him on the F-1 Trillion Tour?

Did Kendrick Lamar’s ‘The Pop Out’ Concert Have A J. Cole Reference?

kendrick lamar

Kendrick Lamar fans are convinced they found a J. Cole-related Easter egg in their replays of Kendrick’s Pop Out — Ken & Friends concert. You may remember that at the outset of the titanic conflict between Kendrick Lamar and his longtime rival Drake, J. Cole was actually the one who took up the gauntlet thrown down by Ken on “Like That” first. However, Cole bowed out relatively quickly, leaving the other two stars to battle it out over the course of several increasingly vitriolic diss tracks, including the megahit, “Not Like Us.” So…

Did Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out Concert Have A J. Cole Reference?

According to some fans, yes. During the intro to Kendrick’s 2015 anthem “Alright,” fans swear they noticed an ad-lib that isn’t on the original, meaning that the backing track played during the show was likely taken from “Black Friday,” a double single released by Kendrick and Cole in 2015 on which they rapped on each other’s beats (Ken used Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive track “A Tale Of 2 Citiez.”

Now, as for why Ken’s DJ would throw on that version of the backing track… who knows, really, other than Kendrick and his DJ? Maybe in pulling together the instrumentals for the performance, they dropped the wrong song in the folder. Or perhaps it was a nod and a wink to J. Cole himself, acknowledging him for withdrawing from the fight for his own personal reasons. Honestly, it was such a tiny moment (heck, it took people a week of rewatches to notice it in the first place), maybe it means nothing.

But the way the battle between Drake and Ken played out shows that the Compton native is nothing if not supremely calculating, so there probably is a reason… he’s just not going to tell us about it.

XXXTENTACION’s Father Thanks Kendrick Lamar For His Support Of X’s Career

Kendrick Lamar was a big fan of XXXTENTACION’s music before the latter’s tragic passing, something that his family won’t soon forget. Moreover, the Florida rapper’s father posted a video thanking the Compton lyricist for his support of his son’s career, specifically his shout-out of the 2017 project 17. Of course, given X’s history of domestic abuse and similar, albeit unconfirmed, accusations against K.Dot, this relationship falls under a darker context. But it doesn’t change the appreciation that the late MC’s family showed to the former TDE member, nor does it justify past actions or close the door on accountability, growth, learning, or recovery.

“Special big-up, shoutout goes to Kendrick Lamar,” XXXTENTACION’s father began his message. “Yeah, powerful king, powerful, powerful. My name is Dwayne Onfroy, father of rapper known as XXXTENTACION. I just want to say, first off all, thank you for giving my son a platform when he was an unknown artist. On his first single. You gave him a shoutout when his album released. You stepped up to the plate for him when a lot of people just stood by and stood back. And Spotify had him under pressure, wasn’t even attempting to play songs. Real king. I’ll always respect you for that, always. California was my home, still love Cali. You understand? Kendrick Lamar: salute, salute, salute. Real yute. Much, much respect, brother.”

XXXTENTACION’s Father Thanks Kendrick Lamar + X’s Own Past Words For K.Dot

In addition, the mention of Spotify also brings up one of Kendrick Lamar’s controversial alleged moves when it comes to XXXTENTACION. The streaming service threatened to remove X, R. Kelly, and others’ music due to their criminal behavior, something that Kendrick’s label fought against because it would be unjust to subject Black musicians to this rule and not white counterparts. Nevertheless, many saw it as a direct defense of X’s actions despite the real story being more complicated and not directly from Mr. Morale. It’s still a hot-button issue, and one that came up in his beef with Drake.

Speaking of the Toronto superstar, his relationship to XXXTENTACION is much different to Kendrick Lamar’s. They had some rumored beef that involved direct shots and accusations from X, and Drake was even accused of having a hand in his murder. These rumors were quickly debunked by both a court of law and by X’s close friends and loved ones. His legacy is a very complicated one, but Kendrick was one of those who saw the good in him despite the warranted backlash that this empathy prompted.

Latto Drives Fans Wild With Sultry New Song Snippet & Video

Latto is the darling of a lot of social media admirers in the rap game, and folks are excited about a new tease-heavy social media thirst trap for a couple of different reasons. One of these is some lustful appreciation, and the other is the new song that she’s teasing, which has fans very excited. After all, the Atlanta femcee should be coming through with an album soon, and this would capitalize on a stellar 2024 so far. Some hot singles, remixes, occasionally juicy speculation, and a lot of performance prowess and visibility cemented her as a top-tier talent this year, so we’ll see if she can bank on that potential.

Despite a lot of conversation around Latto focusing on her alleged rap beefs with other female stars, her trajectory is much bigger than that this year. A recent HOT 107.9 Birthday Bash concert, for example, captivated a lot of folks both in the crowd and online, and showed off some real star power. In addition, her steady stream of new verses and singles have kept fans excited all throughout and haven’t been overshadowed by the headlines. It’s been quite the turbulent road so far, but a very fun one to witness.

However, on this topic of slight thirst traps, Latto recently revealed why she chose to get a BBL at age 21. Her story goes that she’s always been a foodie, and when her success and fame led to her going out to eat at expensive restaurants, weight gain and fan comments on her body led to self-consciousness and confidence issues. While the 25-year-old chose to get surgery for this reason, she didn’t suggest that this is a one-size-fits-all “solution” to these “problems.” The beauty standards that procedures like these provoke are always a very personal matter, and one that shouldn’t compare to others’ experiences.

Meanwhile, with a new “Sunday Service” remix out, we’re sure that said hit will continue to light up summer parties. Latto’s got a whole lot more coming, it seems, and most fans couldn’t be more excited at the prospect. Hopefully we get this new track sooner rather than later, and we can witness yet another huge rollout for 2024. The competition is steep, and seeing folks rise to the occasion is always a treat.

Janet Jackson Raises Fans’ Eyebrows By Posing With A Michael Jackson Impersonator

Janet Jackson continues to captivate audiences during her tour, but a particular meet and greet participant left many fans puzzled. Moreover, a picture went viral of her posing with someone impersonating her late brother Michael Jackson, which prompted some confused and pretty comical comments from social media users. “I’m sure she didn’t mind, but definitely was on her mind for the rest of the night [crying emoji] prolly still is,” one fan commented under the Instagram post below. Another added: “She better than me, I would have cursed him up down , in and out,” which was another popular sentiment in the comments section.

However, not everyone reacted to this negatively. “I think people forget that he was THEE Michael Jackson,” one user posited. “He’s paying homage. She’s definitely seen this numerous times… She’s obviously cool with it and seems flattered. Nothing negative to see here folks.” As such, maybe this Janet Jackson meet and greet isn’t anything to write home about, or at least was a very personal decision for her that some fans will understandably be in disagreement with. Regardless, you should definitely go to see her live if you get the chance, as viral clips of her working in Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” into her live set are just the tip of the iceberg.

Janet Jackson Poses With Michael Jackson Impersonator

Elsewhere, though, Janet Jackson and the rest of the family might have some financial worries to deal with. Recent reports emerged about the Internal Revenue Service freezing the Jackson estate’s funds due to a tax dispute. We don’t know exactly how much this is affecting the family or Janet specifically, but it seems like a very complex web. After all, the trust is worth an industrial boat-load of money.

Meanwhile, Janet Jackson seems to be living her life to the fullest right now and enjoying every step of the way. She also sparked some romance rumors with Q-Tip after a flirty Instagram birthday post, so she continues to be part of the rumor mill. Maybe nothing will come of this, or we’ll see some more viral meet and greet pics to distract us. Despite how differently each person would react to this situation, it’s not a decision or mentality for us to force on another.
