The D.O.C. Explains How He’s Using A.I. To Make A New Album

The D.O.C. says that he’s working on a new album through the use of artificial intelligence following the 1989 car accident that permanently altered his voice. Speaking with CBS Mornings for a new interview, the rapper explained that he’s working with an A.I. company called Suno on the process.

“Fab 5 Freddy asked me if I would be interested in building an album using A.I. technology,” D.O.C. said. He later added: “When this thing happens, it sounds like a real me. I’ve been doing this since I was 16 years old, but I wanted to be the greatest of all-time. And A.I. might give me another shot at that title.”

While The D.O.C. says he wants another shot at the greatest of all-time title, he previously gave that honor to the legendary Notorious B.I.G. Speaking about the best rappers of all time the What’s The Headline podcast in May, he explained that he was original resentful of Biggie’s talent. “I got mad at Biggie Smalls ’cause I could hear where I was gonna go,” he said at the time, as noted by HipHopDX. “When he first came [out], I could hear where I wanted to go, and couldn’t do it. So it made me be angry with him — before I met him. But when I met him, he was such a genuine dude. He asked me to take a picture with him, and he was so f*ckin’ humble. And I was like, how can you hate a dude like that? Ever since then, he’s been my No. 1, really. We were in Chicago at something. It was Saafir and Craig Mack and Smalls and myself. And he was just a cool dude, man.”

Drake & J. Cole Reveal “It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?” Tour Dates

Drake & J. Cole came through with a massive hit on For All The Dogs called “First Person Shooter.” Overall, this is a track that eventually became the number-one song in the country. Furthermore, it has led to some serious anticipation for Cole’s upcoming project The Fall Off. On top of all of this, there have been some rumblings that Drake and Cole could be going on tour together. Recently, information online popped up for a new set of shows dubbed “It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?”

This had fans a bit confused. After all, Drake recently came out and said that he was going to be taking an extended break. However, now, it has been revealed that the tour is very much happening. This morning, fans woke up to a whole slew of tour dates. On January 18th of 2024, Drake and Cole will be heading to Denver, Colorado where they will perform their first shows. This new tour will last about two months and it is set to end in Birmingham, Alabama.

Beyonce has shared a new trailer for her Renaissance World Tour concert film. In the latest clip, she discusses working as a woman in a male-dominated industry. She shared the trailer on YouTube, earlier this week.

“In this world that is very male-dominated, I’ve had to be very tough to balance motherhood and being on the stage,” she says in the trailer. “And it just reminds me of who I really am.” She continued: “It’s a new birth! I hope you feel liberated, but the renaissance is not over.”

Beyonce announced that fans can expect the film to arrive after she wrapped up the tour in October. Chrisean Rock Leaves Social Media Amid James Wright Chanel Beef

Chrisean Rock is currently in a world of trouble thanks to some drama that allegedly went down at a Tamar Braxton concert. As the story goes, Chrisean punched Braxton’s longtime friend James Wright Chanel, in the face. Overall, Chanel was left with a bloody nose and had to go to the hospital. Subsequently, Chrisean has been hit with a ton of criticism for her alleged actions. People are livid, and are calling her entitled due to the fact her beef started when she found out she would not be performing.

This has been quite the whirlwind, and it is clear that Chrisean understands the weight of what is happening. For instance, according to AllHipHop, she recently tweeted that she was deactivating all of her social media pages. Furthermore, she revealed that she wants to change her phone number and her address. This is all happening extremely fast, although Chrisean has been known to be impulsive. At the end of the day, the backlash seems to be weighing heavily on her.

Following the fight, Braxton’s friend LeTroy came out and offered some words on what allegedly went down. As you can see, he was pretty livid with Chrisean for injuring Chanel. “I just want to let y’all know that that girl Chrisean y’all keep hyping up assault James Wright Chanel at Tamar’s concert tonight,” LeTroy explained. “James is in the hospital. I swear I will do everything to make sure she goes to prison she is trash and that’s why her life is the way that it is. She deserves every bad thing that happens to her.”

Bryan Cranston Details Bartending At Drake’s Birthday Party With Aaron Paul

Bryan Cranston recently recalled how he and his Breaking Bad co-star, Aaron Paul, ended up bartending at Drake’s 37th birthday party, last month. Speaking with E! News for an interview over the weekend, Cranston revealed that Miami-based restauranteur, David Grutman, hooked them up with the invite.

“There’s a great restaurant in Miami run by David Grutman,” the actor said. “So he called us and said, ‘Drake’s birthday is tomorrow night. Would you guys like to come?’ And we thought, we’re down there in Miami, yes! So we have to do it. So we did. And it was a surprise to Drake. He didn’t know. And he turned the corner, and he saw us, and I said, ‘Sir, can I mix you a drink?’ It was fun. He’s a cool guy. He’s a really fun guy.”

Drake hosted his 37th birthday party on October 23rd. During the event, he posed for a picture with Cranston and Paul, which he later shared on Instagram. Captioning the photo, the Toronto rapper wrote: “Pinkman, Walter White, and Walter Light…RIP to Mike but when it’s comes to records we breaking bad for sure…I’ll be back with more fuckery and responses to all your love. Lil Yachty has responded to the backlash to his recent comments on the state of hip-hop. After arguing that the genre is in a “terrible place,” Yachty went back and forth with users on social media over the topic on Saturday. The posts began with one fan accusing Yachty of copying Earl Sweatshirt.

“U just signed 4 female veezes and u imitate earl when he raps over alchemists beats dude,” they wrote to Yachty, who replied: “I signed one girl. And I don’t imitate earl… u n****s just be talkin bro.. u n****s who hide behind pop culture pictures just be sayin anything for likes and retweet’s.. people act like the world is goin to shit when a n***a gives an opinion.” When another user tried to promote their own music, Yachty replied: “And this sh*t suck n***a, like bra ur never gonna make it.”

As for Yachty’s original opinion, he spoke at Rolling Stone‘s Musicians on Musicians event in Brooklyn, New York on Friday. “Hip-hop is in a terrible place,” Yachty said, as noted by Complex. “The state of hip-hop right now is a lot of imitation. It’s a lot of quick, low-quality music being put out.” He continued: “It’s a lot less risk-taking, it’s a lot less originality. People are too safe now. Everyone is so safe. I rather take the risk than take the L.”

Nas Auditions For “Paid in Full” In Resurfaced Clip

A video of Nas’ audition for Paid in Full has surfaced online. In the clip, the legendary New York rapper reads for the character of Rico. He ended up losing the role to fellow rapper Cam’ron. The film was released in 2002, and while unsuccessful at the box office at the time, has since developed a cult following.

Fans had mixed reactions to Nas’ performance in his audition. One user argued they were glad he lost out to Cam’ron. They wrote: “Nobody could’ve played that role better than Cam….thank God Nas ain’t get it!” Another critiqued: “An introvert trying to be extroverted.”

One user on Twitter brought up the rapper later being cast in Hype Williams’ film, Belly. Meek Mill addressed the low album sales for his new collaborative project with Rick Ross, Too Good To Be True, on Twitter, Sunday. The posts come after HitsDailyDouble reported that the album will likely move between 30-35k copies in the first week.

In his first post, Meek wrote: “It’s says me and Ross on pace to sell 35k first week I would post if it said 350k… I’m too nice and rich to be rapping in a control music environment that’s why we dropping music on Fridays it’s doesn’t make sense …. Now we all own our music we getting the tech built to put people on our own musical subscriptions and we gone let direct to consumer see if rap if doing well.” Shortly afterward, Meek added in another post: “Staring at social media fantasizing about others lives and getting mentally sick! Max B celebrated French Montana’s 39th birthday from prison, earlier this week, in a video circulating on social media. The rapper has been behind bars since he was sentenced to 75 years in prison on conspiracy charges pertaining to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and felony murder in 2009. He accepted a 20-year plea bargain in 2016.

“What’s good, baby? My motherf*cking boy. Shoutout to my n***a, Montana. Happy birthday beloved,” Max began. “Just shouting you out. You about 39. You about to hit 39. We on the way. We here, n***a. Shout you out n***a.” Before the end, Max teases, “see you soon.”

DJ Akademiks shared the clip of Max B on Instagram, Saturday. In response, one fan reflected on how long Max has been behind bars. They wrote: “In 2012: stay schemin…french Montana said ‘They gave my nigga max 7-5,, Mt n***a penthouse another 30..DAMN…got me thinkn like I’m 75….man…a n***a ain’t even seen 30!’” Another fan asked, “Wasn’t he supposed to be out in April?” Montana previously suggested that Max was set to be released in April at the beginning of 2023.
