King Harris has spoken out after getting into a shouting match with his parents, T.I. and Tiny at the Atlanta Falcons’ game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. T.I. had been performing at the game in honor of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. King addressed the incident on Instagram afterward.
“I Stand on BUSINESS DONT GIVE A F*CK WHO U ARE,” King wrote. “IDGAF WHO U ARE MF CANT PLAY WIT ME N MY FACE NOT GOIN FOR DA IM A GROWN ASS MAN NOW … If ima mistake say dat stop making da world think u fw me when u DONT” He also shared a tribute for his grandmother while previewing a new song. “As long as you stay by my side,” he captioned that post.

While streaming on Instagram at the game, King claimed that he would go to his grandmother’s house because he was “getting into fights.” His mother then grabbed the phone to explain: “I’m a tell you the reason why he wanted to be over there. ‘Cause he can suck a pacifier over there ’til he was 12 years old. He didn’t do that at the house. He cried like a baby.” From there, King began yelling at someone off camera: “What’s wrong with y’all? Why ya’ll doing that to me? Y’all know me, you know I stand on business. Why would you let someone play with me like that?” In the background, T.I. says: “You are embarrassing yourself and your family.”

Drake just knows how to produce big numbers with every album release. Even with him releasing six more tracks in just about a month, he was still able to move 143,000 copies. Of course, we are referencing the expanded edition of his latest record. After saying he was going to take maybe a year off from doing much musically, Drizzy dropped a bombshell. For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition came out this past Friday, November 17, and it truly shocked a lot of people.
The Canadian superstar grabbed some production from Conductor Williams and The Alchemist, to name a couple. Additionally, he nabbed another J. Cole feature on “Evil Ways.” Finally, to top it off, Drake wrote all of these six tracks within about a five-day period. “I did those songs in the last five days. I didn’t have one bar written down for those songs on the night that For All the Dogs dropped.”
The Drake craze has always been real and this latest milestone further proves that. While it was bound to happen at one point, the deluxe version selling the amount it did, pushed For All The Dogs to the one million units sold mark. Chingy rose to prominence in 2003 with the release of his debut album, Jackpot, which housed hit songs like “Right Thurr.” Between then and 2010, he dropped four additional albums before going on a long hiatus. Subsequently, he returned in 2022, and released his most recent project, Chinglish, in June 2023. Notably, the projects that came after Jackpot achieved varying levels of commercial success. None of them, however, were able to match his debut’s worldwide sales. Throughout his career, Chingy has recorded and released many songs, but his biggest hits were all featured on his debut album and helped boost its overall sales. All things considered, one of these songs stands above the rest in terms of sales.

Jackpot was released on July 15, 2003. Prior to its release, the lead single, “Right Thurr,” which he recently performed alongside Sexyy Red, dropped in April 2003. Afterward, “Holidae In,” and “One Call Away” followed as the second and third singles respectively. All three songs were chart successes, peaking within the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, each of them has sold enough units to earn several certifications. However, when it comes to overall units sold, there is a clear victor, and that is “One Call Away.” The song peaked at number two on the Hot 100 chart and appeared on several other charts in the US and beyond. “One Call Away” is also one of only three songs by Chingy to ever achieve a gold certification in the US, selling over 500,000 units in the States. The certification date was November 10, 2004.
Additionally, “One Call Away” sold 70,000 units in Australia. This earned it a platinum certification from the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). While the track failed to sell enough units to gain certifications in other countries, it remains Chingy’s best-selling song overall. “Holidae In” and “Bella Baby” also sold 500,000 units in the US. However, “Holidae In” only sold 35,000 units in Australia, and “Bella Baby” did not reach those numbers in the country. As a result, “Holidae In” is gold-certified in Australia, and “Bella Baby” is yet to gain an ARIA certification.
The Significance Of “One Call Away”
Interestingly, besides “One Call Away,” Chingy’s biggest song is “Right Thurr,” the aforementioned lead single from Jackpot. The song also peaked at number two on the Hot 100 chart. In addition, it achieved higher chart positions than “One Call Away” in New Zealand, Netherlands, Canada, and the UK. Despite its success in the US, however, it is strangely not certified by RIAA. The song only has certifications in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. In detail, it sold 35,000 in Australia, and 5,000 each in Canada and New Zealand. In conclusion, although it is certified in more countries, its overall sales pale in comparison to those of “One Call Away.”
Certainly, the single has also solidified its place as one of Chingy’s most recognizable tracks. The iconic hook sung by Jason Weaver is evergreen and unforgettable. Likewise, Chingy delivered smooth bars, and his signature swag, as heard on most of his songs. The single was written by Chingy, S. Martin, and The Trak Starz, with the latter credited with producing the track. All in all, “One Call Away” remains a standout moment in Chingy’s discography and a nostalgic emblem of the early 2000s Hip Hop era. Equally, it is a testament to the rapper’s impact on the rap scene of that time. Of all the songs in his catalog, Chingy literally struck gold with “One Call Away,” and it will continue to be celebrated as a quintessential 2000s track.
Robert Allen, one of the men complicit in the murder of XXXTENTACION, might become a free man very soon. Moreover, recent developments in court seem to be leading up to his prompt release given a few different factors in his specific case. Most of these revolve around the fact that Allen testified against his other codefendants, three men who received more harsh jail time. For this testimony, the court sentenced him to seven years in prison, but eventually brought it down a peg. The judge in this case reduced his time to 64 months, a little over five years, but that’s not all that worked in Allen’s favor.
Furthermore, one of these was that, as Robert Allen waited and waited for the trial to actually get underway following their arrest around June 2018, he was actually building credit for his eventual prison sentence. Judge Michael Usan basically accredited him 1,911 days of service, which is almost his full sentence, in October of this year. This means that one of the people who helped murder XXXTENTACION might be free come December, as there’s very little time left for Allen to serve. The others who faced trial alongside and then against him were Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome.

Back in August of 2022, Robert Allen pled guilty to second-degree murder charges in the XXXTENTACION case. Then, he testified against his colleagues, identifying Boatwright and Newsome as the two men with masks on in surveillance footage of the murder and Boatwright in particular as the shooter. Allen claimed Williams was the getaway driver and that they split the $50K found in X’s Louis Vuitton bag that they stole. Allen received $5K, whereas the other perpetrators- who years later received life sentences on first-degree murder and armed robbery charges– got $15K.
By comparison, Robert Allen not only got a then-reduced seven-year sentence and credit for time served, but also faces 20 years of probation. Judge Usan expressed belief in his genuine remorse for the murder, which seems to have gone a long way. He also ordered the removal of his address from documents regarding his probation, so it’s clear he’s looking out for his safety a bit here. This weekend, Eminem will be performing live on Fortnite. Although his set may just be a collection of pre-recorded songs set to some flashy visuals, fans are still very much excited. Overall, one of the people who seems to be most excited is Adin Ross. While speaking to his viewers recently, he professed his love for Em and how he would love to stream with the man. In the clip below, you can even hear Ross claim that he would pay upwards of $1 million just to get the opportunity to interview him.
Eventually, one fan broke the news to Adin that Em is actually a liberal now. Thanks to his love of Andrew Tate and Sneako, Adin has a deep hatred for “Liberals.” Consequently, he was not a fan of learning this news about Eminem. As the Adult Survivors Act (ASA) was set to expire on November 24, 2023, a number of cases were filed against prominent figures in the music industry. For example, Sean Combs was accused of sex trafficking and physical abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. In the following week, several other plaintiffs filed lawsuits against Diddy related to alleged sexual abuse. Prominent names like Jamie Foxx, LA Reid, and Axl Rose have also had lawsuits filed against them.
Jimmy Iovine, the music mogul and the co-founder of Interscope Records, could soon be under the same fire. Right before the end of ASA, he was accused of sexual misconduct by an unidentified woman. Here’s what we know about the case so far.

First of all, it’s important to understand what the Adult Survivors Act is. According to New York State Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal, the ASA is a bill that “provides victims of sexual assault who were 18 years or older at the time of their abuse a one-year look-back period to file a lawsuit against their abuser and, if applicable, the institution that harbored them, no matter how long ago the crime occurred.” Within the one-year period, affected persons would be able to file lawsuits on historic sex crimes without hindrance from the statute of limitations.

Alarmingly, over 2,500 cases were filed under this act while it was active. While he has only been issued a court summons now, Iovine could soon be facing a similar lawsuit as well. The summon was filed on November 22, 2023, when an anonymous woman, identified as Jane Doe, accused Jimmy Iovine of assault and battery. Additionally, it was issued by the New York County Supreme Court, and signed by attorneys Kevin Mintzer and Doug Wigdor. In the document obtained from the court, Jane Doe alleges that she was “sexually abused, forcibly touched, and subjected to sexual harassment and retaliation in violation of anti-discriminatory laws in or around August 2007.”
Subsequently, an unnamed spokesperson from Iovine responded in a statement to Variety. “We are quite shocked and baffled by this alleged claim,” they said. “This inquiry is the first we’ve heard of this matter. No one has ever made a claim like this against Jimmy Iovine, nor have we been contacted or made aware of any complaint by anyone, including this unknown plaintiff prior to now.”
Nonetheless, Jane Doe now seeks damages as a result of her alleged abuse at the hands of the music executive. Her legal documents, according to PEOPLE, state that “her amount for relief will be determined at trial for, but not limited to, physical injury, economic and compensatory damages, punitive damages, and attorney’s fees and costs.”
The trial will take place at the New York County Supreme Court. Iovine must provide a notice of appearance or request for complaint within 20 days of receiving the summons. However, he will have an additional 10 days to respond if the summons isn’t delivered to him personally. In the meantime, Doe’s attorneys have offered no further comments.
Nicki Minaj has had a vast amount of beefs over her long career. For that reason, it is why this latest message to some unnamed haters is not at all surprising. The Queen of New York took to her Instagram Story to share some choice words for her sneak dissers. According to HipHopDX, She writes, “If you had the opportunity to apologize and didn’t take it, always remember: you had the opportunity of a lifetime. Pink Friday 2.” There are certainly a lot of ways to look at this.
One way to break this down is that this could be referencing the ongoing feud with Cardi B. While a majority of this beef has been created by fans, that could still be a way to look at it. Remy Ma could be another name that Nicki is mentioning here too. Especially after Ma called herself the Queen of Rap in the early 2000s. It is hard to pinpoint who this is getting directed at, but we are here for it.
Especially, with her long-awaited follow-up coming in about two weeks. Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 is due on her birthday, December 8. With a handful of tracks already out that could be on the album, there is a lot of hype as to the level of greatness this tape can reach. Now, throw in this extra drama, it is building up to something even bigger than we could imagine.

Cardi B has responded to Hazel E’s recent criticism during her interview with Tasha K in a comment on Instagram. The Love and Hip-Hop star complained that Cardi says she’s at the top of the game and won’t give Nicki Minaj proper credit. When The Neighborhood Talk shared the clip on Instagram, Cardi responded in the comments section while replying to a fan who argued Hazel was putting words in her mouth.
“Exactly,” Cardi wrote. “I never said that! I don’t even know why this woman [keeps] mentioning me but I guess she has to. Like, look at what they chose to highlight from her whole interview.”

DJ Akademiks is someone who has always tried to deliver opinions that are unfiltered. Overall, he has built a large brand off of doing so. Although he has certainly angered people over the years, he has maintained his strategy. At the end of the day, he is someone who is always going to be seen as a provocateur. Over 10 years into his career as a content creator, Akademiks still finds new ways to make people mad. As you already know, a lot of this is due to his takes on women and the smoke he has for them, but not men.
Recently, Akademiks decided to stream and rant about Megan Thee Stallion. As it pertains to the Tory Lanez shooting case, Akademiks has always seemingly been on Lanez’s side, despite the conviction. In a recent live, Megan Thee Stallion claimed that she was no longer going to have sex with a lot of people. Instead, she was going to be more selective of the men she allowed in her life. This subsequently led to Akademiks making some very strong claims about the rapper.
As you can see in the clip above, Akademiks makes the claim that people in the industry have said how Megan used to allegedly get blackout drunk a lot. Furthermore, Akademiks claims she was a belligerent drunk who would act aggressively. From there, he goes on to suggest that because of her reputation, Tory Lanez refused to “Wife” her despite really liking her. It was a rant full of hearsay, and it certainly took a few fans by surprise. Needless to say, the case is still on Ak’s mind.

Joe Budden is someone who has hated on a plethora of artists over the years. Overall, he is someone who does not mince words. Even if what he says offends people, he does not care. Ultimately, his attitude towards music criticism has given him a large platform. Although he has gotten into feuds because of this, he has continued to give fans his best, every single week. Recently, his target was none other than Lupe Fiasco. The reason? His remix of the Andre 3000 album, New Blue Sun.
New Blue Sun is an instrumental album in which Andre 3000 plays the flute. Overall, it was a great project that a lot of fans enjoyed. However, Budden took issue with Lupe trying to add vocals to it. In Budden’s eyes, it was a move that just didn’t feel right. Of course, he said that in much worse terms. It turned out to be a humourous segment, however, we are sure Lupe begs to differ on that one.
“Hey Lupe, man, stop. Stop it. He rapping over them damn flutes. I cut that shit right off,” Joe Budden said. “Oh Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Yo dawg, it’s women listening… with vaginas. Please. Why would he do that to that to them? I can’t say nothing ’cause he gonna diss me […] That was some bullshit. That was some clout chasing.” There are a lot of artists out there who were looking at remixing the new Andre album. At the end of the day, it makes sense. He is a massive artist and with some fresh instrumentals, there was a very obvious opportunity here.
