According to documents obtained by TMZ, Mai contends that her primary concern revolves around ensuring their child’s safety rather than restricting Jeezy’s access. The documents detail Mai’s assertion that she has consistently permitted Jeezy to spend quality time with their daughter. Even extending his access during the holiday season. Mai’s lawyer clarified the situation, stating, “It is essential to clarify that Ms. Jenkins’ insistence on reasonable safety measures being put in place. Such as safely securing and locking away all firearms that have been unsecured in the past. As well as having familiarity and properly trained caregivers is absolutely not gatekeeping. But rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s well-being.” The legal documents further elaborate on the nature of Mai’s requests. Especially when under the care of others and traveling across the country. And are reasonable protective measures, not an attempt to restrict Mr. Jenkins’ access to their daughter.” Meanwhile, Jeezy has continued to deny Mai’s infidelity claims. Moreover, there was an fidelity clause in their pre-nuptial agreement that would be triggered if Jeezy was proven otherwsie. “Any claims of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins’ behalf are 100 percent false and we have no further statements at this time,” a rep on behalf of Jeezy said to US Weekly.

Playboi Carti Seemingly Reveals He Welcomed A New Baby In His Surprise ‘H00DByAir’ Song

Playboi Carti has had fans in a chokehold, wondering when he’ll finally drop his followup to his first-career No. 1 album, Whole Lotta Red, which arrived on Christmas Day in 2020. Last Christmas, Carti returned to social media and appeared to tease that new music was imminent. It wasn’t until last week that he released a new song, “2024,” but fans didn’t have to wait another year for the next development.

On Tuesday, December 19, Carti posted a video to Instagram Story. It features someone screaming (to put it lightly), “CARTI DROPPIN’ AGAIN [EXPLETIVE] TONIGHT!” Written atop the video is, “9:00 PARENTAL ADVISORY EXPLICIT CONTENT TUESDAY.”

Shortly thereafter, Carti reshared an Instagram Reel posted by Opium, captioned, “H00DBYAIR #IAMMUSIC.”

Toward the end of the song, Carti raps, “I was 24 when I had lil Onyx / 27 when I had Eve.” As pointed out by XXL, people are assuming that the bar serves as an announcement that Carti has welcomed a baby named Eve. Carti welcomed Onyx, his son with ex Iggy Azalea, in 2020. It must be noted that Carti was arrested for allegedly choking his pregnant girlfriend last December, as reported by TMZ.

“According to the arrest affidavit, obtained by TMZ, the woman told police the rapper grabbed her by her throat and pushed her, holding her neck until she could barely breathe,” the outlet reported in February. “She even told cops she thought she was going to die. Police say the woman told officers she’s been in a relationship with Playboi Carti for two years, has lived with him since July 2022 and was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of the alleged incident on December 20.”

The “H00DByAir” video features appearances by Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang, and Ken Carson — fellow Opium Collective members and openers on Carti’s Antagonist Tour, which was postponed in August to 2024.

The “#IAMMUSIC” hashtag all but confirms what was already widely accepted as fact. Carti is reportedly gearing up to release an album “early next year (currently with a tentative release date in January),” per Hypebeast. Earlier this month, Carti posted a word graphic to a since-expired Instagram story reading, “I AM MUSIC,” which currently serves as Carti’s Instagram profile picture, so it’s believed that I Am Music is the album’s title.

Is Drake Dropping A ‘You Broke My Heart’ Video?

Drake’s For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition, which he initially announced as Scary Hours 3, tacked six extra songs to the tracklist of his previously released For All The Dogs album. One of them, “Evil Ways” featuring J. Cole, is among Uproxx‘s “Best Songs Of 2023.” Now we know “You Broke My Heart” will be in the spotlight.

On Tuesday evening, December 19, Drake confirmed via his Instagram Story that he will drop a video for “You Broke My Heart” tomorrow, December 20. The announcement is accompanied by a photo of a “BRKNHRT” license plate on the street.

Previously, Drake gave the video treatment to For All The Dogs tracks “Another Late Night” featuring Lil Yachty, then “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole, and “Polar Opposites.” The “Another Late Night” video was directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett, while Gibson Hazard directed “First Person Shooter.”

For All The Dogs was released on October 6 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — his 13th-career No. 1 album — and For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition arrived on November 17. “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole also became Drake’s 13th-career No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (and J. Cole’s first). Cole and Drake will co-headline the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? at the top of 2024. Vanilla Ice Was ‘Friends’ With Infamous Drug Lord Pablo Escobar Because They Shared A Non Drug-Related Hobby

In December, most people are reviewing the best and worst of 2023, but Vanilla Ice would rather reflect on the 1990s. There is cause to believe this is his favorite hobby. In July 2021, the rapper told TMZ that he believed the ’90s is “the greatest decade ever before computers ruined the world.” Earlier this month, during an interview with VladTV, he revealed he knows “too much” about the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur.

Fifty-one minutes into the same VladTV interview, Vanilla Ice casually mentioned the late, infamous Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar “coming to my house” in the 1990s. He confirmed he “hung out with Pablo Escobar many, many times” as well as “everybody from Cocaine Cowboys.”

Ice continued:

“We were all friends. […] They would land helicopters in my house constantly on Star Island, come into my house. I had food just for them in the refrigerators. I had my maids and everybody and all them clean up after they left, and they would take me in the helicopter. We’d go to these great events and race boats and look at all the cool stuff that they were making. And I never questioned [because] we didn’t have Google. I don’t know who these people are. I thought they were businessman.”

Naturally, TMZ — like all of us — had some followup questions. Vanilla Ice caught up with TMZ Live on Tuesday, December 19, and added further context.

“Pablo was into racing boats, I was into racing boats, and he really did a lot of great things for the boat industry because the money he spread around to, I guess, traffic the drugs also spread into the racing boat community,” Vanilla Ice said. He also clarified that he was mostly “clueless” about the nefarious behavior of his unlikely friends. Watch the full clip here.

Kanye West’s $1.5 Million Church Left In Disarray After Just 9 Months

Earlier this year, Kanye West purchased a $1.5 million plot of land where the Cornerstone Christian Church stood in Los Angeles. When the purchase was first made back in March he seemed to insinuate that his original plan was to move his Donda Academy into the building. But with the Academy subject to numerous lawsuits for its various safety hazards and reported occupational discrimination, those plans never materialized.

Kanye West recently returned to LA after spending a controversial few months around Europe where he got into trouble numerous times. But since being back in California he hasn’t taken the chance to revisit the church he bought back in March. The building itself is reportedly in a state of total disarray and has been abandoned since earlier this year. Pictures of the building show boarded-up windows and trash discarded all around the premises. It’s unclear at the moment if West has any plans for the building going forward. Kanye West’s return to the US coincided with an exciting announcement for fans. He announced a new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign called that was supposed to come out last week. The project was also supposed to include some fan-favorite leaks like “New Body” which features Nicki Minaj. But when the time came for the project to be released it never materialized.

Now, Billboard is reporting that the new release date for the project is New Year’s Eve. Despite the announcement Kanye fans aren’t particularly getting their hopes up given the rapper’s track record for making release dates. It’s been a while since we heard new music from either ASAP Rocky or Rihanna, as the power couple has been busy enjoying parenthood. During this week’s launch party for Rihanna’s latest Puma sneakers, the singer offered some insight into parenthood, including a self-deprecating dig at one of her own signature features that youngest son Riot didn’t inherit.

She was also asked about possible collaborations between her and her boyfriend Rocky, responding, “We did that already — twice.” Of course, she was talking about their two boys, not songs, but if you were wondering whether they’ve also recorded any songs together, we’ve got you covered there.

Their earliest collaboration was the 2011 “Cockiness” remix, which transformed the sixth single from her sixth studio album, Talk That Talk. Produced by “A Milli” producer Bangladesh, dubstep-influenced track received mixed reviews and peaked at No. 17 on Billboard‘s “Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles” chart.

Meanwhile, although Rihanna has yet to appear on any of Rocky’s songs, she has appeared in two of his music videos. In 2013, the video for “Fashion Killa” from Rocky’s debut studio album Long. Live. A$AP. featured Rihanna and followed the couple on a shopping date. Then, in 2022, Rocky kicked off marriage rumors about the couple when his video for “D.M.B.” not only starred Rihanna but also featured Rocky wearing a grill reading “Marry Me.”

While the price began at $27, the highest bid is all the way up to $10,200. As of Tuesday afternoon, 19 fans have put forth bids on the grass. The bidding will officially close on December 27.
