Dallas Shooting Leaves Boosie Badazz Demanding $150K To Perform In City Again

Boosie Badazz has been in the music industry for a long time. Like many of his contemporaries, he’s had his share of run-ins with the law. Some situations found the Baton Rouge-born artist facing serious allegations of murder, which he ultimately beat. Others have seen him taking on the victim role, like a shooting that took place in Dallas in 2020. At the time, Boosie took a bullet to the leg. This left him in a wheelchair for the duration of his recovery. Since then, the embattled artist hasn’t returned to the city where he was shot, but on Sunday (October 29), he entertained the idea of coming back – if the money’s right, of course.

“I don’t know, they gotta pay me a lot of money to come to Dallas,” Boosie stated during a recent Instagram Live. “They shot me in Dallas. They gotta pay that bag. I’m tryna come! $150,000 – I’m coming. They shot me in Dallas,” he added. Nevertheless, the 40-year-old still showed love to fans in the Lone Star state. “I love Dallas, though. [They] my highest supporting city. Every time I drop a movie, Dallas be number one!” Boosie alleged.

Will Boosie Badazz Ever Hit the Stage in Dallas Again?

The 2020 incident was particularly traumatic for Boosie, as it took place during a vigil for the late Mo3. It took place outside of a strip mall called Big T’s when a gunman began shooting at the rapper’s sprinter van and quickly fled the scene. After spending over a week in the hospital for treatment, Badazz was ultimately released to continue his recovery at home, though he was back on stage in his wheelchair just four days later.

Besides addressing questions about the potential of him performing in Dallas again, Boosie Badazz has also shared his thoughts on the new documentary about him. The Louisana native is usually happy to be in the spotlight, but now that he’s been painted as an “alleged serial killer,” Boosie wants no part in the project. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

6ix9ine Turning A New Leaf, Giving Out Money To People

6ix9ine did a pretty cool move recently. The man went down to the Dominican Republic to visit the people and give them the surprise of their lives. Seen in a video via his Instagram, as well as posted on DJ Akademiks’ Insta page, the rapper is seen hugging a bunch of crying ladies as he hands out handfuls of money to each person. He even hands a small stack of bills to a child being held by their mother. One older woman was crying and talking throughout the whole ordeal, with 6ix9ine offering her a couple of stacks and a big hug.

Later, he heads over to a group of kids. He explains to the camera that the eldest child is watching over everyone else while their mother is out working. For the first few people, he’s handing out crisp American $100 bills. For the kids, however, he hands $500k pesos to his partner in crime, internet personality Stephen Deleonardis (a.k.a. Steve WillDoIt). Steve hands the pesos to the main boy, with 6ix9ine saying it’s for them to have a better life. He talked to all of them in Spanish.

According to the rapper, he doled out $40k worth to the people of the Dominican Republic. DJ Akademiks asks in his Instagram caption, “Has he successfully completed his villain arc and now turned into a hero for the [people]?” Back in the day, 6ix9ine dealt with numerous controversies and allegations. Born Daniel Hernandez, the hip-hop artist has a checkered past that involves a child sexual performance charge, a shopping mall choking incident, robbery, assault, kidnapping, shooting, and domestic violence.

He has also feuded with music industry heavy hitters, including Trippie Redd, Chief Keef, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber. However, it looks like he has turned a new leaf. Giving back to communities in need is a great look and a somewhat miraculous turnaround. From what looked to be a troubled career, 6ix9ine is being super generous now.

Cardi B Paid $10K Out Of Pocket For “Bodak Yellow” Music Video In 2017

If there’s one thing Cardi B has always had for herself, it’s vision. The 30-year-old felt called to superstardom from deep within, and so she set her sights and began acting accordingly. Of course, there have been speed bumps along the way – both legal and romantic – but now she seems more self-assured than ever before. As she prepares to share her sophomore album (a follow-up to the Grammy Award-winning Invasion of Privacy), Cardi seems to be in a reflective mood according to a tweet shared on Tuesday (June 20) morning.

“Fun fact: I [spent] $10,000 on the ‘Bodak Yellow’ music video,” the mother of two revealed. Along with the tidbit of hip-hop history knowledge, she shared a throwback photo taken while filming the visual. While wearing an elegant, deep red dress and stiletto heels, Cardi sits on the hood of a luxury whip. While her beauty budget and the expensive car likely took up a lot of that money, several members of the Bardi Gang were quick to ask their favourite artist how much she paid for the leopard who appears beside her on-screen throughout the footage.

Cardi B Reflects on Past Hits

As Uproxx reports, Cardi previously shared her inspiration for “Bodak Yellow” during an interview with Billboard. “I wanted to do a song that is, like, ‘You know what? I’m in a good place in my life right now, and I want to stun. I felt it in my soul — this song is going to be so popping.”

Despite the New Yorker’s obvious enthusiasm about the single, her label reportedly wasn’t feeling it. Staying true to her own vision, Cardi got the funds together on her own accord to put the video together. It’s since amassed well over one billion streams and was Diamond certified by the RIAA in 2022 after selling upwards of 11 million units.

50 Cent Surprises Steakhouse Waitstaff With $1,000 Tip Following DaBaby Dinner

He was undeniably wild in his younger days. However, 50 Cent has become known as a renowned businessman now that he’s settled down. Of course, the New Yorker still loves to troll his contemporaries on Instagram. Still, that doesn’t mean he’s not spreading love too. According to Page Six, Fif’s most recent random act of kindness took place following a steakhouse dinner with DaBaby, during which they reportedly ordered one of everything on the menu.

The father of two was hosting a celebration for a new deal with his Branson Cognac brand and obviously didn’t hesitate to splurge. Insiders reveal that he and guests dined on a salt and pepper lobster alongside numerous steaks. The party went on until the restaurant closed. It was also attended by Power Book II: Ghost actor Woody McClain, DJ Camilo, and DJ Self.

Thankfully 50 is getting positive reviews from the waitstaff, even with the large order. The media mogul made it worth their while, as he reportedly left a $1,000 tip on the bill. He’s since commemorated the evening with an Instagram post, though he made no mention of his extensive gratuity. “Good times, Good living NY vibes Brooklyn Chop House,” the “I Get Money” artist wrote in his caption. Since sharing the post earlier this afternoon, Fif has earned plenty of praise in the comments for taking Jonathan Kirk under his wing and showing support, despite the numerous times the industry has tried to cancel him in the past.

Elsewhere in New York, DaBaby nearly accepted an incredibly NSFW offer from a fan backstage at the city’s Hot 97 Summer Jam. While he was on his way out, the embattled rapper was approached by a woman offering to give him head right then and there. Jay-Z’s Former NYC Apartment, Known As “Stash Spot,” Listed For $1.4 Million

Just last month, Jay-Z and Beyonce made American history by purchasing the most expensive home ever in the state of California for $200M. Some Twitter users have been calling the property “ugly” and comparing it to a “prison,” but nevertheless it’s a huge step up from where Hov resided in the late ’90s on 560 State Street. As the NY Post notes, the father of three was both selling drugs and making music at the time, but ultimately gave up the former for a very successful pursuit of the latter.

“I knew something wasn’t right about the things I was doing,” Jay admitted while visiting the property in 2019. “My conscious was alive. So I just decided to let that street life go and just really focus on music. This is what I love to do. If I had my choice to be successful — to be successful in the street or be successful making music, it would be making music.” After letting go of the toxicity in his life, the New Yorker quickly found himself blowing up and achieving all his dreams in the industry.

Jay-Z Spent His Younger Years on 560 State Street

His former residence, popularly known as “Stash Spot,” has been listed for sale for $1.4 million. It’s located in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill neighbourhood and boasts two levels. The main floor contains a living room, dining area, and powder room. Elsewhere you’ll find a primary bedroom with a large, custom-designed closet, as well as a second room that could fit a bed or function as an office/nursery. Other amenities to be enjoyed by whoever foots the bill include the building’s 6,000-square-foot shared courtyard, an outdoor kitchen, and a gas-fired barbecue pit.

Elsewhere in the news, Ne-Yo made an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast earlier this week, at which time he revealed that Jay-Z still teases him about giving “Let Me Love You” away to Mario. Blueface Uses $50 Bill To Light His Blunt: Video

Even after documenting the aftermath of Chrisean Rock attempting to burn his house down earlier this week, Blueface is proving that he’s not afraid to play with fire. The embattled rapper took some time away from bashing his soon-to-be second baby mama on social media to, instead, flex a major stack of cash during a smoke session. Rather than simply flaunting the pile of money for the camera, as most wealthy stars do, Blue took things a step further by using one of the $50 bills to light his blunt

In a clip posted to his Instagram Story on Friday (May 12), the 26-year-old filmed himself riding in a car, using a torn-up portrait of former POTUS Ulysses S. Grant to spark his bud. After successfully lighting up, Blueface then turns viewers’ attention to the rest of the money in his possession, which is obviously only a small portion of his huge fortune. He was clearly feeling himself at the time of posting, but as blogs continue to repost the footage, an increasing number of replies have come in clowning the “Dear Rock” artist.

Blueface Lights His Blunt in an Unconventional Way

“Careful, you’ll need that for child support,” one IG user joked in @rap’s comment section. “Could’ve paid for his girl’s Plan B with that 😭,” someone else chimed in, seemingly referencing Blueface’s obvious disappointment in his soon-to-be father of three status lately. The Californian and Rock are currently expecting their first child together, while he already shares two others with his first baby mama, Jaidyn Alexis.

Initially, the Baddies starlet was enthused by the news of becoming a mother, but now, she seems far less excited to be co-parenting with Blueface after watching his recent antics unfold. Do you think that the “Thotiana” hitmaker’s latest flex was an impressive one, or should he be pocketing all of those bills to support his and Chrisean Rock’s baby? Blueface’s Net Worth: Rapper Says Number Online Is “Pretty Accurate”

Despite having a vase thrown at him by his future baby mama on Instagram Live this weekend, Blueface appears to be relatively unbothered. He and Chrisean Rock have since shrugged off their public physical spat. Of course, it certainly isn’t the first time we’ve seen them come to blows in front of a camera. Rather than dwell on the heated altercation, the “Thotiana” rapper has been discussing his net worth on Twitter. Other artists have previously disputed the numbers linked to their names on Google. He, on the other hand, claims that his is practically on point.

“My net worth is pretty accurate,” the 26-year-old told his followers on Sunday (April 2) afternoon. “Which is kinda weird to me, ’cause how do they know [for real]?” Blueface then asked, prompting trolls to offer up some funny responses. “They add up every bar you rap about money and give it a weight value,” one person quipped. “Then sum total that bitch, it’s pretty simple maths,” they added. Someone else provided a screenshot of a source claiming that the controversial figure is worth an estimated $5 million.

Blueface Seemingly Confirms His Net Worth

At the start of 2023, Blueface revealed on social media that he had earned nearly $800K on OnlyFans. While some celebrities with accounts on the often-salacious site sell their nudes in exchange for money, the father of two has kept his privates to himself, instead opting to tantalize and tease subscribers with thirst traps that don’t give away the full package. “Crazy work, good salary,” he previously said of selling content. Other sources of income for him include streaming royalties and his Crazy In Love reality series with Chrisean Rock, which has already wrapped its first season.

Aside from the comedic responses from trolls, plenty of other Twitter users let Blueface know they were surprised to see that he’s “only” worth $5M. “For as much clout as you and Rock generate I thought you were worth much more [than that],” one person told the Californian. “[You] been inna game how long Blue?” another account holder asked. “[You] worth 4M, Chrisean worth 2M.” Keep scrolling for more reactions to the entertainer’s post about his money moves, and check back later for any hip-hop news updates.

Iggy Azalea Reveals Valentine’s Day Plans: “Getting This MONEYYYY And Nothing Else”

Some people are desperate for love. Others, like Iggy Azalea, yearn for a different sort of satisfaction – the kind that only comes from seeing your bank account expand exponentially. The mother of one made this abundantly clear with a tweet last week, revealing her Valentine’s Day plans.

At the time, the Australia-born beauty explained that she’s conducting a business meeting on February 14th, rather than stepping out for a luxurious date with a man. “I really love that in my schedule ’cause this year is about getting this MONEYYYY and nothin’ else,” she wrote last Tuesday (February 8).

The last bit of the post found Azalea assuring readers that she’s “skipping the roses for now.” Of course, this isn’t exactly surprising as she’s been making money moves in various areas of her life lately. Not only did she sell her music catalogue in an incredible eight-figure deal, but she’s also been making a killing on OnlyFans.

The “Fancy” hitmaker made a profile on the content-selling site after fans begged her to share more revealing content. She’s been generous about sharing teasers on social media to entice potential subscribers. Still, some have already expressed disappointment in the photos and videos appearing on Azalea’s pay-per-view page.

It remains unclear exactly how much money OnlyFans has brought her. In the days after her account arrived, however, she was quick to shut down rumours about making $307K in her first day.

What we do know is that Azalea was romantically linked to Tory Lanez prior to his arrest. The pair were previously spending some time together. Additionally, the Canadian was rumoured to be executive producing her next studio album. However, following his incarceration, the 32-year-old has been obviously pouring her energy into bulking up her bank account.

Elsewhere on her Twitter page, Iggy recently shared a heartwarming experience with her 7.8M followers. On Friday (February 10), she wrote, “I’ve been so lucky all week! Met a guy who’s bulldozing an old mango grove of 50+ year-old trees. He told me I can pick and have them!”

She went on, “Then today I made friends with a lady and she’s letting me buy two 35-year-old frangipani trees from her! My garden’s about to be so sick!!!” Read more of Azalea’s tweets below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Justin Bieber’s Music Catalog Sells For Over $200 Million

In the years since he first rose to fame as a young boy singing covers on YouTube, Justin Bieber has gifted his fans with an expansive listening library. It all began in 2009 with his My World EP. Afterward, the Canadian creative satisfied the masses with releases like Journals, Believe, and most recently, Justice.

In recent months, there have been talks of the 28-year-old signing a huge deal. This would include handing his music catalog off to another entity. Last month, rumours said the singer could potentially earn $200M if both parties agree.

On Tuesday (January 24), Variety shared that Bieber actually made slightly upwards of the aforementioned price in his contract with Hipgnosis Songs Capital. Over 290 titles were a part of the deal, all of them released prior to December 31, 2023. At this time, his songs will continue to be administered by Universal Music, and UMG will own his master recordings.

Scooter Braun, the “One Time” hitmaker’s longtime manager gave a statement on the massive transaction. “I want to thank Merck and his entire Hipgnosis team and all of our partners involved for working so hard to make this historic deal happen. When Justin made the decision to make a catalog deal, we quickly found the best partner to preserve and grow this amazing legacy was Merck and Hipgnosis.”

“For 15 years I have been grateful to witness this journey and today I am happy for all those involved. Justin’s greatness is just beginning,” he continued.

Things on Bieber’s front have been relatively quiet as of late. Fans were concerned when he once again postponed the final dates of his Justice tour. It was previously scheduled to launch in 2020, and still hasn’t been finished by 2023.

Initially, the Drew founder was faced with delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eventually, he began rescheduling due to a battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome which left his face paralyzed.

Bieber’s catalog deal is certainly a major bragging right, but he’s not the only artist making major money moves lately. Before launching her OnlyFans page and bringing in serious cash there, Iggy Azalea also sold her collection of songs in an impressive eight-figure deal.

Blueface’s OnlyFans Earnings Are Nearly $800K: “I Highly Recommend”

Whenever Blueface’s name makes it into the headlines, you can almost guarantee chaos will follow. For the most part, the 25-year-old is somewhat popular for his rap career. However, he’s known very well for his toxic relationship with Chrisean Rock and other questionable antics.

Aside from the money he brings in from royalties, hosting gigs, performing, and his Crazy In Love reality series, the California native has another significant source of income as well – OnlyFans.

Signing up for the paid content site has become increasingly popular as of late. While some of them are brave enough to bare it all for the camera (at a cost, of course), others have found ways to bring in the big bucks without having to take all their clothes off.

According to a recent Instagram Story, Blueface is one of the latter. To kick off the week, he flexed a screenshot of his monthly earnings, seemingly inspiring followers to get their own bread up. “If you can find a way on OnlyFans without showing your private parts I highly recommend,” he wrote.

“Crazy work, good salary,” the “Thotiana” artist shared. The accompanying photo reveals how much he made from July 2022 to this month so far. His lowest month came in September with over $22.5K, and the highest was in December which brought in nearly $69K.

In January to date, Blue’s OF earnings are earning $31K, and the month is hardly more than half over. Since launching his page, the father of two’s gross income is $798,800.26.

Of course, the numbers are impressive. Still, they’ve got nothing on what Iggy Azalea allegedly made in just one day after launching her pay-per-view channel. Reports say that the Australian-born star’s subscribers have already paid upwards of $300K for a look at her exclusive content.

It remains unclear if she plans to show the world more X-rated thirst traps on OnlyFans, or if her usual salacious twerking content is enough to satisfy their needs. Read more about the rap diva’s new account here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
