Today, hip-hop artist FERG teams up with rapper Future and producer Mike WiLL Made-It for his latest single, “Allure,” released via RCA Records. Set to a dark, trap-heavy beat, the track showcases FERG and Future’s signature flows as they trade bars. Adding to the multi-hyphenate artist’s creativity, FERG also painted the single’s striking artwork, highlighting his talents beyond music.
“Allure” follows FERG’s recent collaborations with Denzel Curry and TiaCorine on “HOT ONE” and with Jaylen Brown on “Just Do It.” FERG and Jaylen recently appeared on Complex’s GOAT Talk, where they discussed their greatest rap beefs, NBA players, and conspiracy theories.
This track is the first release from FERG’s highly anticipated album DAROLD, his first project since 2020’s Floor Seats II. Fans can expect more music from FERG soon.
“Allure” feels like it came out of a time machine. It takes three artists, each of whom were vital artists in the mid-2010s, and returns them to the sound that made them so vital to begin with. Ferg has stumbled here and there with solo material over the last decade. Some of his experiments have failed, others have been underrated. “Allure,” though is the rapper at his absolute best. He sounds hungry, he sounds eager to bring out the best in his collaborators. Most importantly, though, he sounds fun. Ferg has always had charisma to spare, and his verse on “Allure” proves that it’s still present.
The time machine aspect of the song, though, is equally credited to Future and Mike WiLL Made-It. The latter has been keeping a low profile after his legendary 2010s run, and this beat proves that he hasn’t lost a step. It’s menacing and catchy, especially with the way he layers Ferg’s ad-libs. The “om” chant that underpins Future’s verse is another immeasurable detail that gives “Allure” character. Future has really been in his mixtape Pluto bag as of late, as evidenced by the album Mixtape Pluto. He continues rapping like he did during his iconic 2010s run, and surprise surprise, it sounds amazing. “Allure” is a winner.

Ferg And Future Slide Over Mike WiLL’s Ominous Beat
Quotable Lyrics:
Diamonds that drip in the club, I came a long way from the buildin’ with fiends Psycho was hangin’ with thugs and stashin’ the snub in 515 Well, I got somethin’ to tell ya, Darold is livin’ his dream Pull up in a ‘Gatti in front of the projects, I’m makin’ a scene
Back in 2016, Harlem rapper Ferg (then known as ASAP Ferg) and Atlanta rapper Future hooked up to create an absolute monster — no pun intended. Their collaboration “New Level” absolutely flattened the hip-hop club scene, and still goes up at the function to this day.
Today, they reunited for another spirited collaboration, “Allure,” which attempts to recapture the chemistry that had every car in every hood blasting “New Level” at all hours of the day or night. They come pretty close, with a Mike Will Made-It-produced beat custom-built to knock the subs out of your speakers.
The song’s accompanied by a visualizer of the recording process, which took place in an unconventional studio setting. Ferg and Future dance under the mood lighting and mug the camera as their engineer makes the necessary tweaks to ensure maximum impact of those Mike Will 808s.
“Allure” is set to appear on Ferg’s upcoming album, Darold — yes, Ferg’s real name is Darold Ferguson Jr. In preparation of the rollout, Ferg has made his presence known a bit more lately, collaborating with both frequent rap partners like Denzel Curry and hip-hop neophytes like the NBA’s Jaylen Brown. Stay tuned for more from Ferg, including a release date for his upcoming album.

Grammy-nominated super producer Mike WiLL Made-It takes listeners on an audiovisual journey with the release of the music video for his powerful new single “high3r” via Giant Music. Featuring Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty, “high3r” spotlights the hurdles while chasing fame and success with Mike WiLL’s production prowess providing the ideal backdrop for the dynamic duo’s expert lyricism and flow.
The music video for “high3r,” the lead single from his forthcoming “R3set” album, features solemn close-up shots of all three artists, interspersed with scenes depicting characters experiencing euphoric highs and deep lows. The chorus, with its lyrics “I wanna take you higher,” establishes the thematic backbone of the video, contrasting initial joy with the darker consequences of excess. Starting with a sense of optimism, the video gradually reveals the misfortunes of overindulgence, capturing the dual nature of pursuing elevated experiences and the inevitable repercussions that accompany them.
Through striking visuals and a compelling narrative, the video underscores the complex interplay between ambition and its consequences. This collaboration represents a significant moment in contemporary hip-hop, seamlessly blending the talents of Mike WiLL Made-It, Lil Wayne, and Lil Yachty into powerful supporting visuals for the somber yet electrifying record.
Mike WiLL Made-It took a step back from the game. He was one of the most essential producers of the 2010s, with a staggering resume of hits to his name. The 2020s, however, have been a different story. He has played more of a background role in the current decade, and he’s finally decided to return to the fold with new music. “high3r” is the first song credited solely to Mike WiLL Made-It since 2023, and it goes in a different direction than fans might expect. Instead of bringing Lil Yachty and Lil Wayne together on an upbeat banger, the producer opts for a chill, borderline ballad. Lil Yachty is the dominant musical force on “high3r.” The rapper applies his warbling croon to the chorus and his verse.
Mike WiLL Made-It is bringing it on the production end of things. The Georgia icon applies his stuttering hi hats to a melodramatic piano riff, and it works surprisingly well. “high3r” is never going to be mistaken for an S-tier Mike WiLL Made-It beat, but it’s still of high quality. Lil Wayne comes in on the second half of the song and keeps the crooning going strong. It’s been a while since fans have heard Weezy in “How to Love” mode. It goes about as well as you think. The most interesting aspect of his verse, is the odd reference to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Mike WiLL Made-It is one of the defining producers of the 2010s. He helped to cultivate the sound of an entire generation of artists, courtesy of his hard-hitting sound and his signature tag. Mike WiLL’s profile has lessened in recent years, as he’s stepped back to focus on the artists signed to his record label. He had something to get off his chest May 16, however. The Atlanta producer got on X (formerly Twitter) to complain about the current state of hit-making. According to him, artists have gotten lazy.
The critique came in two parts. The first saw Mike WiLL Made-It call out artists who simply remake iconic songs. “Sick of hearing remakes,” he tweeted. “Nothing like original shxt.” The second message pointed out the trend of older artists agreeing to hop on the remake of their own song. “Please don’t feature on your classic remake,” he added. “It’s a pet peeve of mine.”
Mike WiLL Made-It Wants Artists To Make Original Music
The producer didn’t mention any names, but there are plenty of recent examples. Usher hopped on Summer Walker’s “Come Thru,” which sampled his 1997 single “You Make Me Wanna…”. Then there’s Fergie, who performed alongside Jack Harlow at the VMA’s when he sampled “Glamorous” on his radio hit, “First Class.”
Mike WiLL Made-It is tired of this trend. He doesn’t blame the record labels, either, he blames the artists. In his estimation, the labels don’t care about the music so long as they are moving units. “They just put the shxt on the shelf,” he wrote in a separate tweet. “Its on the production company or the independent artist…” Mike WiLL wasn’t the only producer who voiced their frustration.
Sonny Digital, another 2010s stalwart, backed up the claim. He quote tweeted Mike WiLL and added: “I swear I don’t respect anybody remaking a song that’s already a hit and then ACT like they made a hit from a song that was ALREADY a hit.” Here’s hoping more high-profile artists take not of what these producers are saying, and attempt more original music.
About 24 hours ago, Massachusetts rapper and singer Coi Leray was going a little viral after The Neighborhood Talk shared a video of her showing off her stripper moves. It turns out that it was a music video shoot for a new single. The track is called “Lemon Drop,” and it is the title track for a new collaborative EP between Coi Leray and a famous producer. She has worked with some of the very best, and in this case it is Mike WiLL Made-It.
According to Rap-Up, the project will be executive produced by the Marietta, Georgia native. Additionally, the new offering, which will follow-up another Coi Leray, Blue Moon, will drop on May 24. There is a strong possibility that the singles “Wanna Come Thru” and “Can’t Come Back,” will make the cut too. “Lemon Cars,” sees Leray lay down some auto-tuned singing over a dreamy instrumental about being a party girl.
“She just going on and on and on / Pour after pour, two times, it gets more intense.” On top of the fun fact we mentioned at the beginning, there is another one that die-hards might enjoy. If you happened to check out the music video for “Can’t Come Back” a few weeks ago, Leray actually teased some of “Lemon Cars” in the first few seconds. Be sure to stream the new single from Coi with the link above.

Chief Keef and Mike WiLL Made-It have joined forces with Sexyy Red for the release of the video for “DAMN SHORTY.” The track, propelled by Mike WiLL’s signature production featuring monster movie horns and crisp percussion, highlights the chemistry between Sosa and Sexyy.
Directed by NSTY, the video follows Sosa, Sexyy, and Mike WiLL as they sit down for a formal dinner before heading to the gas station for a night of turning up. “DAMN SHORTY” showcases the artists’ signature styles over a swelling trap symphony, with drops from the Trap-A-Holics adding to the track’s energy.
The collaboration between Chief Keef, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Sexyy Red promises to be a hit among fans. The video adds a visual dimension to the already infectious track.
Two heavyweights in rap, Chief Keef and Mike WiLL Made-It, have joined forces for their first collaborative mixtape, Dirty Nachos, which was released today via 43B / Ear Drummer Records / RBC Records.
With 18 tracks, Dirty Nachos serves a flavorful blend of hard-hitting street anthems, showcasing the unique synergy between Chief Keef’s raw lyricism and Mike WiLL’s dynamic production. Like the perfect combination of jalapeños, chili, and cheese on a plate of loaded nachos, each mixtape element complements the other, resulting in a sonic feast for hip-hop enthusiasts.
The mixtape, hosted by Trap-A-Holics, features two notable guest appearances. Mike WiLL’s long-time collaborator 2 Chainz lends his signature flair to “PULL UP GHOST CLAN,” adding an extra layer of energy to the track. Without a doubt, Mike WiLL Made-It and Chief Keef are some of the most respected artists we have in modern hip-hop. Both have contributed immensely to the trap rap/pop rap subgenres for over two decades. Each have worked with the best of the best and have numerous classics under their belts. However, these two do not have the most work experience as a duo. But, that is all changing in a couple of days. From numerous sources, as well as Mike’s Instagram, we have word that he and Chief Keef will be dropping a mixtape called DIRTY NACHOS.
We originally reported that the lead single for this new team effort would actually be previewing Almighty So 2. This has been a project that Keef’s fans have been eager to get their hands on for years. The first Almighty So dropped back in 2013 and there are rumors that its sequel will be out by March 29. Hopefully, that rings true. But for now, we are getting more music from the rapper and producer duo.
Chief Keef& Mike WiLL Made-It Are Dropping DIRTY NACHOS March 15
Instead of it being for the Almighty So 2 project, “DIRTY NACHOS” will be for the mixtape of the same name. Fans can expect it to be out this Friday, March 15. Even though we only have ever gotten five tracks from Chief Keef and Mike WiLL Made-It, this should still be a fun listen. The Georgia beatmaker posted a batch of images to his IG, saying, “@chieffkeeffsossa “DIRTY NACHOS” THE TAPE , FRIDAY#ALMIGHTYSO2 #SOSAMADEIT LOADING…”
