Marlon Wayans Believes Boosie Badazz Isn’t A “Monster” And That He’ll Make Amends With His Daughter

Marlon Wayans, who has a trans son, has come to Boosie Badazz’s defense after the controversial rapper rebuked his daughter for being gay. The comedian argued that he believes Boosie will eventually figure the situation out and make peace with his daughter. In doing so, he asked fans to give him time to grow as a person.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “U can’t paint @BOOSIEOFFICIAL as a monster. That man is father that provides. I believe him, his daughter and God will figure this out. It took me. A second. Give their family grace and time. This is growing pain. She know her daddy loves her. That’s all that matters. He may come around he may not. But that’s on him and her.” When one user argued that Wayans would never have called his child out in public, he responded: “I wouldn’t have BUT I understand the disposition and I will hold space for @BOOSIEOFFICIAL and his family.”

As for Boosie’s controversial comments, he called out his daughter during an appearance on Yung Miami’s Caresha Please show. “I mean, she still can’t bring her situation to our house. My daughter is wrong. Well, why is she wrong? Because I don’t want it to contaminate her other six, seven sisters who look up to her,” he said. His daughter ended up firing back on social media, saying: “You suck, bruh. And I know you suck with that cause you’d rather go to the Internet and have a conversation with the Internet about your kids before you come to us and have that conversation.”

Marlon Wayans Sees Harvey Weinstein’s Downfall As “Revenge” For Stealing His Movie Ideas

Marlon Wayans had a lot to say on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, including a dark and foreboding tale about how he allegedly hung out with Tupac in Vegas right before his death. But this new interview also saw him reflect on past injustices throughout his career and how they eventually saw retribution. Moreover, the entertainer accused producer Harvey Weinstein of stealing his and his family’s ideas for Scary Movie 3. While this and other factors made Wayans consider a lawsuit, the multiple sexual misconduct convictions that Weinstein faced years down the line ended up serving justice. The actor also accused the executive of subjecting him and his family to very poor deals and not being able to make as good of a comedy film as they could.

“God comes for you…” Marlon Wayans shared. “All the toxic things you did to me and my family. They took it from us and gave it to somebody else ’cause we couldn’t make a deal… I always say, they didn’t just r**e and molest women. [They] molested us in them deals. They were terrible people.

Marlon Wayans Claims He Hung Out With Tupac Minutes Before He Was Murdered

Shannon Sharpe’s latest guest on his Club Shay Shay podcast is none other than DJ Vlad’s recent Twitter opponent Marlon Wayans. Moreover, they spoke about a whole host of topics, including his career, personal relationships, and reflections on his decades in the industry and celebrity ecosystem. However, the actor and comedian raised some eyebrows thanks to one of his stories. He told Sharpe about the time that he and fellow entertainer Omar Epps allegedly saw Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas just 20 minutes or so before suspects fatally shot him. It’s a dark and strange tale, one that offers yet another perspective on this monumental tragedy in hip-hop history.

“I saw Tupac in Vegas at The Luxor 20 minutes before he got shot,” Marlon Wayans alleged. “I seen Suge and all these cars and thugs and reds. I turned white, I was like… ‘M-m-m-maybe we shouldn’t go over there. Let’s just wave from here.’ Omar [Epps] was like, ‘Nah, we got to go say what’s up and pay our respects.’ ‘Pac was a huge star at this time. And I was like, ‘Are you sure? It sure looks like a lot of trouble over there.’

“I give him a hug, we all talk, kick it for five minutes,” Marlon Wayans continued his alleged recollection of his and Epps’ run-in with Tupac. “And the BMW pulls up. Me, Omar and Mitchell [Marchand] get in a cab and we pull off. I’ll never forget the look on Tupac’s face as we pulled off. He was looking at us like, ‘Man, I miss that freedom, I miss that fun.’

“He was just in this chaos,” Marlon Wayans concluded. “There was a part of him that wished that… It was like the innocence. [He wished that] he could just go with the innocence. And so we left and then 20 minutes later, we heard he got shot.” It’s important to note that this wasn’t the first time that the two had met. They worked together on the 1994 film Above The Rim, and Wayans has spoken about his bond with the late legend in the past.

DJ Vlad Squashes Marlon Wayans Beef During DJ Akademiks Interview

DJ Vlad and Marlon Wayans do not like each other. They may seem like they exist in two different worlds, but they can’t seem to stop arguing. At least, until now. Hell froze over for DJ Vlad on August 26. The hip hop personality decided to step back and reassess his comments about Marlon Wayans. He decided to apologize to the comedian during a recent interview with DJ Akademiks. He went as far as to say that he respected Wayans as an entertainer, and explained how their beef came to be in the first place.

First, context. During an interview with Aries Spears, DJ Vlad claimed that Marlon Wayans had been difficult to work with. He alleged that Wayans asked for $40K to appear on the Vlad TV channel, as well as 30% of future revenue from his episode. DJ Vlad considered both requests to be absurd. DJ Vlad and Wayans proceeded to exchange insults via social media when the latter caught wind of the trash talk. “You unprofessional my guy,” the comedian tweeted. “If you don’t like the number keep it moving. You look BAD. You should fall back. Mad at a black man stating his number? And now you go public and use your platform to try to drag me. I never in my life dealt with this silly negotiating tactic.”

DJ Vlad Admits He Acted Unprofessionally

Vlad admitted he acted unprofessionally during his new interview. “Honestly, at the end of the day, it was just a business negotiation,” he stated. “I could’ve kept it to myself. I overdid it.” Vlad then said that he would be open to working something out with Wayans in the future. “I do actually respect [him],” the DJ added. “That was the reason I approached [him] in the first place.” DJ Vlad also provided some of the reasoning behind his initial frustration. He felt as though Marlon Wayans failed to realize how big Vlad TV is, and didn’t take the negotiations seriously as a result.

DJ Vlad cited other hip hop personalities like Big Boy and Charlamagne Tha God as people that Wayans seemingly had more respect for at the time. That said, he has moved on from his initial resentments, and is eager to bury the hatchet. “My bad Marlon, I apologize,” DJ Vlad concluded. “It’s all good. I think most people just want to respect each other and I think it could have been handled a little differently.” Maybe we will get to see Wayans on Vlad TV one of these days.

Marlon Wayans Deemed “Cringe” After Responding To Automated Barack Obama Text

Marlon Wayans is a beloved actor and comedian who has given us some classics over the years. Recently, you may recall that Wayans was in a bit of a feud with none other than DJ Vlad. The whole beef stemmed from Wayans wanting money to be interviewed by Vlad. Vlad did not appreciate this, especially since Wayans’ interviews don’t generate the clicks necessary to make the money back. Overall, fans took Wayans’ side, and it is easy to see why given his legendary status.

Recently, however, Wayans found himself on the side of cringe. In the post below, you can see that Wayans crafted a lengthy paragraph in reply to an automated text from Barack Obama. It is the kind of text that is sent to anyone who has either voted or donated to a Democratic political campaign. Overall, Wayans’ text was an attempt at humor, but for some, it fell flat.

Interestingly enough, some people on The Shade Room actually thought that Wayans had messaged the real Obama. Meanwhile, others made fun of those who are so easily convinced. “Idk if I want to laugh or cry! The number of people who DID NOT realize it’s a campaign text he was trolling is SCARY! That means they’re probably not registered to vote!” one person wrote. “Mannn, Barack sent me that same message… and here I was thinking I was special,” said another. “Ohh the amount of uneducated people in these comments is frightening. THATS NOT ACTUALLY OBAMA !!!! it’s a automated text,” one commenter concluded.

Marlon Wayans Calls Out Game of Thrones for Lack of Diversity

This past week, Marlon Wayans’ home was broken into while his brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans, was inside. Marlon Wayans, known for his comedic prowess, and his famously funny family were the latest targets of burglars in the L.A. area.

According to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ, the incident occurred around 2:30 AM last Saturday. While Marlon was not home, his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was present when two audacious thieves broke into the house. The intruders sneaked into the backyard, shattered a back window, and gained entry into the residence.

Keenen was reportedly awakened by the noise but did not realize the gravity of the situation. Believing it was nothing significant, he shrugged it off and went back to bed. It wasn’t until one of Marlon’s staffers returned to the house around 8:00 AM and discovered the home had been ransacked that the burglary came to light. Keenen was shocked to find that the thieves had made off with a safe and several thousand dollars in cash.

The police have since launched an investigation and are canvassing the neighborhood for any video footage that might lead to the culprits, but so far, no arrests have been made.

Marlon Wayans took to Instagram to assure his fans that he and Keenen are okay, expressing his gratitude. “God is so Good. Everyone is fine. I’m grateful,” he wrote. In a video posted on Thursday, the stand-up comedy star and “White Chicks” alum opened up about the home invasion, humorously suggesting that the burglars “pick a better” target next time.

In the minute-long video, Wayans quipped, “The most valuable thing in my house is my house. So, unless you’re gonna put that (expletive) on a truck and drag it away, then, yeah, man, you did well, but I don’t own (expletive).”

He further explained, “Sorry, I live a simple life with 2 cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover. You will need a jumpstart if you steal it ‘cuz the battery is dead,” adding, “I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry.”

Wayans also advised against home invasions in a heartfelt message to robbers: “Robbers don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions.” He elaborated on his Instagram page:

“Dear ROBBERS and OTHERS,
I am the WRONG N***** to ROB. Save your energy. I don’t have anything valuable in my house except MY HOUSE. Sorry, I live a simple life with 2 cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover. You will need a jumpstart if you steal it ‘cuz the battery is dead. Robbers don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions, shit is too heavy!!! You want to carry all that bullshit? Throw your back out, and for what?! I repeat I don’t own shit valuable. I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please pick a better thank you and love you… still.”

Marlon Wayans Wants Kendrick Lamar & Drake To Put An End To Their Beef After Rick Ross Altercation

Marlon Wayans says Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rick Ross, as well as The Game need to put their ongoing feud to rest. He discussed the beef in a statement on Instagram after Ross was involved in an altercation in Canada, earlier this week, for trying to play “Not Like Us.”

“Dear Hip Hop. It’s all fun and games until people start getting hurt,” he wrote. “Remember this, HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF! I knew Tupac, I knew Biggie. I partied with them, hung out with them, saw them both 20 minutes before they got shot. Violence is real. Everyone can be touched. Don’t entertain the devil. I love @champagnepapi love @richforever love @kendricklamar love @losangelesconfidentinal [The Game] and I say to all my brothers there’s enough for everyone to eat.”

From there, he advised the group to follow J. Cole’s lead and bow out. “Y’all all need to what @realcolworld did. With peace, with love, with positivity,” he further wrote. “Life is short… even shorter if you spend your energy on breaking each other down instead of building each other up. Marlon Wayans Hilariously Questions Nathan Wade Over Fani Willis Affair

Marlon Wayans sat down for an interview with Nathan Wade for a new episode of The Daily Show and his segment, “Choppin’ It Up With ‘Quon.” In doing so, he immediately brought up the romantic relationship he had with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. That relationship led to Wade resigning from the case against former President Donald Trump and his alleged interference with Georgia’s 2020 election. Trump’s team is still trying to get Willis taken off the case.

Wade began by explaining that he doesn’t label the romance “an affair,” and described Willis as a “respectable mother,” and a “brilliant legal mind.” After Wade clarified that Willis isn’t his boss, Wayans joked that the prosecutor wasn’t “He Too’d.” When Wayans asked Wade about having his “dick potentially end democracy,” he bursted into laughter.

Marlon Wayans Doubles Down On Pride Month Support Despite Backlash

Marlon Wayans isn’t phased by the haters in his comments on Instagram over the support he’s been showing for his son, Kai, during Pride Month. When he first shared a picture of himself with a Pride flag on the platform, several users criticized him in response. Tuesday morning, posing in a tub of rainbow-colored balls, he added: “Looking at my comments… i don’t think the haters got my message… HAPPY F*CKNG PRiDE BITCHES!!! I ain’t God so I don’t judge, I’m father, a friend and a damn loving human so i exercise my right to LOVE.”

Users continued to have mixed responses to the support for the LGBTQ+ community. One top comment comes from a user claiming they’ll never watch another one of his movies. Others voiced support for him continuing to speak up in the face of homophobic backlash.
