Lil Uzi Vert Said That It’s ‘About That Time’ To Release ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ Because Their ‘Heart Is Hurting’

Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape Tour isn’t set to kick off until next month. However, one of their pop-up performances revealed what the “Endless Fashion” rapper has in store for fans. During their set at Listen Out Melbourne 2023 on September 29, Lil Uzi Vert gave the crowd insight into their highly anticipated project, Luv Is Rage 3.

Days after rolling out their chart-topping album, The Pink Tape, Lil Uzi Vert shut down rumors that a deluxe album would be shared soon. Instead, Uzi confessed they would “drop a whole new album.” That album might be Luv Is Rage 3.

While onstage, a fan grabbed the musician’s attention, which prompted the confession. In the video clip captured by a concertgoer, Lil Uzi Vert can be heard saying, “Yeah! I’m about to drop ‘Luv Is Rage 3,’” in response to a fan in the crowd’s question.

Uzi added, “You know I only drop ‘Luv Is Rage’ when my heart is hurting. It’s about that time. But you know, right now, ”

The anticipation for the project was only intensified when the official X (formerly Twitter) page for Rolling Loud posed the question, “Luv Is Rage 3? 👀👀👀”

No further information is known about Luv Is Rage 3. But with a vault of over 1,500 songs, it should take Lil Uzi Vert long to assemble something when they are ready to.

Some creatives would take a lengthy break after delivering such an impressive feat, but LUV has remained focused on completing more gifts to share with their fans.

The “Just Wanna Rock” hitmaker’s main focus has been Barter 16, which we’re patiently waiting for to arrive on DSPs. Aside from that, they’ve also been hinting at a follow-up to 2017’s Luv Is Rage 2 for quite some time, though social media users are reluctant to believe the hype. Ahead of this week, Uzi confirmed during a live performance that the third installment in the beloved album series is in the works. As you may recall, the recording artist hinted in mid-summer that it would only be “a couple of months” before their work was ready for its big debut.

“Hey now, I’m ’bout to drop ‘Luv Is Rage 3’,” the entertainer declared in the video above. “You know I only drop ‘Luv Is Rage’ when my heart is hurting. It’s about that time,” they vulnerable admitted. While many fans are happily reacting to the news, others are speculating that it could be some time before the LP drops. “This ni**a is a boldface liar and I’m tired of it,” one Twitter user declared. “I can’t wait to look back on this video in a few months and caption it, ‘What was the point of this?’” another wrote.

Lil Uzi Vert has kept mostly quiet about Luv Is Rage 3 since this summer, but they’ve been regularly giving us updates on their Barter 16 project over the past few weeks. JT Reminds Followers That Relationships Aren’t Forever

City Girls rapper JT has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share some relationship advice. The “Where The Bag At” rapper, who’s on-again, off-again dating fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert, shared her thoughts on being in a relationship and leaving when unhappy. “Do men know that a ‘girlfriend’ not that deep,” she started. “If you don’t like your ‘girlfriend’ you can leave, that’s not your wife OR mother of your kids. You owe her nothing. & vice versa if you don’t like your boyfriend leave his ass & don’t feel bad or play with other ppl feelings.”

JT’s post was in response to a viral meme captioned, “how men look at you when you remind them they have a girlfriend.” One user responded, “Damn, this is cold.” And JT took to replying with “Why you feel like that? What’s cold is pretending to hate your partner in the streets or using others instead of simply being single. No broken family or alimony!” Her response suggested that instead of cheating, an unhappy partner should just leave — especially if they’re not married or have kids.

However, JT has never been one to shy away from her relationship views with social media. The hypothetical question was asked during a virtual interview and JT responded that 10 years is not really that long of a time to her. “Um…10 years. Yeah. 10 years not really that long. Super producer Mike Will Made-It has blessed a new track his Midas touch once again. This time, he has teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert for a flashy new single, “Blood Moon.”

On “Blood Moon,” Mike Will is at the helm of the beat, per usual, and is joined by J. Cole, who, despite not having any rap vocals on the track, contributed to the song’s production. Over the track, Uzi celebrates a life of excess, rapping raspy, bragaddocious bars.

“Stepped in this b*tch like a killer, stepped in this b*tch in all Margiela / Grip on my waist, got a damn caterpillar / Lil Uzi Vert higher then a damn pillar,” raps Uzi on the song’s opening verse.

While Uzi enjoys the opportunity to flex, they’ve admitted that they don’t think of themselves as a fashion icon. In an interview with GQ, they admitted that some of their biggest fashion moments have come from them just throwing random items of clothing together.

“I low-key just wear anything,” said Uzi. “Sometimes I troll and say shit like that, but I’m not the best-dressed rapper. I don’t even care about that. It’d be the worst-dressed people with all the girls, so it doesn’t even matter.”
