Lil GotIt Continues To Shade Gunna: “We Nothing Alike”

Gunna isn’t getting a warm embrace from his fellow YSL compatriots following his latest Instagram post.

As you know, the DS4EVER rapper was released from jail last month after accepting an Alford plea. Though his legal team denied that he snitched on Young Thug and the other defendants, many haven’t forgotten that he admitted that YSL is, indeed, a gang.

So, when Gunna emerged on Instagram last night calling for Yak Gotti and Young Thug’s freedom, certain members associated with YSL weren’t feeling it. Lil GotIt, most notably, distanced himself from Gunna after the “pushin p” rapper paid homage to GotIt’s brother, the late Lil Keed.

“Don’t call me twin,” GotIt wrote in response to Gunna referring to Keed as his “twin.” Afterward, fans noticed GotIt and Young Thug’s sister, HiDoraah, unfollowed Gunna on Instagram.

Though Gunna hasn’t responded to GotIt’s recent shots, the “Playa Chanel” rapper elaborated on his thoughts further.

“We nothing alike so don’t call me twin… Spike up my soda hit harder then gin… N***as in black and white without a Pen,” he captioned the post.

Afterward, GotIt shared a photo of himself and Lil Keed on his story. “Before anybody think we some bitches I’ll prove em otherwise,” he wrote “Just get yo rest twin.”

Gunna might have denied that he’s cooperated with authorities in the YSL case, it seems like GotIt and other YSL affiliates feel differently after the infamous “Yes Ma’am” video surfaced.

We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding Lil GotIt and Gunna.

Lil GotIt Appears To Distance Himself From Gunna: “Don’t Call Me Twin”

Beef could be brewing in the YSL The Label camp after Gunna issued his first statement post-Alford Plea.

On Tuesday night, Gunna broke his silence on Instagram after his release from jail in December. The rapper called for the release of Young Thug and Yak Gotti while professing his loyalty to YSL The Label.

“N***as acting like they switching to a side But it’s only one side . #YslTheLabel #FreeThug&Yak GUNNA BACC!!!!!” He wrote under his first Instagram post since his December release.

Despite the excitement among fans, it seems that many believed that Lil GotIt wasn’t necessarily feeling the same way. “N***as needa stop that cap,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. The statement was vague enough that it could be about anything but the timing of it suggested that there was trouble between the labelmates.

Afterward, Gunna hit Twitter to pay tribute to Lil Keed, who passed away from natural causes days after the YSL arrest. Gunna wrote, “R.I.P KEED ILY & IMY TWIN.”

It appears that this is what ruffled Lil Gotit’s feathers even more. The Superstar Creature rapper shared another message on his Instagram Story that seemed directly aimed toward Gunna’s latest post. “Don’t call me twin,” he wrote.

Shortly after, Lil GotIt and Young Thug’s sister, HiDoraah, unfollowed Gunna on Instagram.

At the same time, Unfoonk, Thug’s brother who also copped a plea deal, seemed to have a message for Gunna. “All Dat Internet Shit Not P, Im Been Humble With U N***as,” he wrote.

Lil Gotit & Dolly White Asked About YSL RICO Trial By Paparazzi

Lil Gotit has been one of the “Free YSL” movement‘s most active supporters. Ever since Young Thug and other members of their crew were arrested in May last year, he’s been advocating for their release.

In September, the 23-year-old explicitly showed his support for his brothers through the single, “Free Y$L.”

Earlier this week, Gotit was spotted at an airport alongside Thug’s sister and fellow YSL artist, Dolly White. Of course, a paparazzi member from TMZ asks them about the forthcoming RICO trial.

“Everybody good. Everybody just gotta relax,” says the “She Know It” rapper. When the cameraman asks the artists about Gunna and other YSL members taking plea deals, Gotit is seemingly about to open up. However, the “Reckless” rapper intervenes. “More power to them! We can’t talk about that,” she says.

“Nah, Jeff [Thug] good,” Gotit says later on. “He good, I just talked to him this morning,” says the “Ski” rapper’s sister. She then goes on to call out the media for spreading false rumors about the situation. Namely Akademiks, for his reports that Thug didn’t sanction any of the plea deals.

When asked about Thugger’s hopeful release, the pair sound optimistic. “He gon’ get out,” says Gotit. “We ain’t worried about that,” says White afterwards.

In the latest development in the case, authorities are charging the Barter 6 rapper with eight counts. This comes after he was facing a possible 65 charges. The eight against him include conspiracy to violate the R.I.C.O. act and two counts of participation in criminal street gang activity.

However, the murder charges will not be going forward against the 31-year-old. Previous reports were indicating that Thug would be facing life in prison if convicted of murder. “So I just spoke to a lawyer familiar with the YSL case. If Young Thug gets convicted of murder, he will get life in prison. Under Georgia law, he will only be eligible for parole after 30 years. If he gets convicted for even 1 count in his RICO case, he’ll get 20 years,” writes DJ Vlad in a tweet on Sunday (January 1).

Lil GotIt Says Young Thug Hasn’t Talked To Anyone Except His Lawyers

While Young Thug prepares to face trial in the forthcoming YSL RICO case, several people are trying to speak on his behalf. Following his arrest in May, he’s remained behind bars with very little communication outside of his lawyers. Atleast, that’s what Lil GotIt says following statements from numerous individuals who claim they’ve talked to Thug about the prosecution’s plea deal offerings.

We’ve witnessed several individuals associated with YSL cop plea deals recently, from Gunna to YSL co-founder, Walter Murphy. Young Thug’s blood brother, Unfoonk, also accepted a deal from prosecutors. Throughout this time, many have wondered where Young Thug stands on the matter.

People such as Wack 100 claim Young Thug wasn’t informed about the deals. However, an associate of BSlime claimed Young Thug wasn’t aware that any of his co-defendants copped a deal.

Lil GotIt later addressed the matter online, declaring that Young Thug hasn’t talked to anyone except his lawyers recently.

“Ain’t no one talked to damn Slime, bruh,” he said. “Everybody just stop doing that, bruh. Man, fighting for his god damn life.”

“Ain’t nobody talk to slime,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Ya’ll tryna get back in the loop and s*** relaxxxxx this ain’t that keep pushin. God got lil Jeff ya’ll doin too much on this app mane.”

Afterward, he shared another post on his Instagram, which read, “Once again Jeffrey is not communicating with anyone but his LAWYERS. We live in a media world. Everybody wants fame off this situation.”

The jury selection process starts today (Jan. 3rd) in Young Thug’s trial. Last week, YSL’s Tick copped a plea deal where he agreed to testify against Young Thug if called to the stand. Testimonies from those who copped deals will likely help the prosecutors secure a conviction in the case.

Unfoonk Can’t Say “Slatt,” “Slime” & Other YSL-Related Slang: Report

The YSL Rico trial in Atlanta is inching closer and closer, and as a result, updates continue to pour in. Following the shocking news of Gunna’s release last week, several other YSL Records artists have also been released from jail. One of those artists is Unfoonk, Young Thug’s older brother and Slime Language 2 collaborator. Since his release from jail earlier this week, Unfoonk has vehemently denied snitching on Young Thug for his plea deal.

“Damn people really think I told on my own brother SMH,” he wrote on Instagram shortly after his release.

In addition to addressing his plea deal, Unfoonk has also been far more visible than his newly freed YSL labelmates. Whereas Gunna and Lil Duke have generally stayed off social media, Unfoonk has not shied away from Instagram. In fact, the My Struggle artist recently linked up with YSL Records affiliate Lil Gotit.

However, not everything has been easy for Unfoonk since his release from jail. The “Real” rapper wasted no time getting back into the studio this week, and while there, he hopped on Instagram Live. During the livestream, he admitted that there were more conditions to his plea deal, and they could affect his music.

In what appears to be a studio session for a “First Day Out” type of record, Unfoonk discussed the strict new guidelines that he has to follow.

“I ain’t gotta promote it. I still can drop it,” Unfoonk says in the video.

After that, those present discuss his alleged recording stipulations. Apparently, he is no longer allowed to say “slime,” “slatt,” or “YSL” in his music. Surprisingly, someone in the video exclaims that he’s not even allowed to do the nose-wiping gesture, which YSL helped popularize.
