ASAP Rocky Attributes New Album’s Delay To Leaks, But Fans Aren’t Buying It

ASAP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb is one of the most notoriously delayed and long-awaited projects on the horizon right now, and in a world where Frank Ocean and Playboi Carti also exist, that’s saying something. Over the years, we got plenty of teases, announcements, merch drops, delays, and comments that, for one reason or another, have yet to result in a new album. Moreover, even singles have dropped that didn’t see a lot of follow-up, so a lot of fans are wondering what’s up with it. Well, the Harlem creative reportedly spoke recently on one reason as to why his new project is still in the oven.

“Dummies need to stop leaking,” A$AP Rocky reportedly remarked concerning his new album’s delay, a common and understandable notion. “Every time, it’s back to the drawing board.” However, this would probably hit a lot harder and ring much more true for fans if they weren’t asking where in the world these leaks that he talked about even are. The fact that people failed to get their hands on it is either a sign that they’re looking in the wrong places or that there aren’t any leaks to begin with, and that there’s another reason why there’s no new LP yet.

Of course, even if these leaks are a facetious claim, there are plenty of other valid and understandable reasons as to why this delay is so notorious and lengthy. If we were starting a family with Rihanna, beginning the journey of fatherhood, and getting a lot of extracurricular gigs in many fields, we might pause our project indefinitely, too. A$AP Rocky is in a very exciting time in his life right now, and it’s one that doesn’t need a new album attached to it to validate or immortalize it. Sure, it would be awesome, but it’s not like he is as elusive as some other folks who haven’t dropped in a while.

In addition, A$AP Rocky’s shooting case also brought him plenty of legal trouble and attention, which is another valid reason for delay. The most frustrating thing about it, though, is just how long he’s been teasing it for, and how rollouts seemed so close to manifesting but just missed the mark. Ultimately, we may never know why this new album is taking so long. There’s only one way to make us forget about that and make it a much more irrelevant question: by dropping it!

Kendrick Lamar Leaks Resurface Under pgLang Name On Streaming App

For pretty obvious reasons, fans are always foaming at the mouth for new Kendrick Lamar music, but the Drake beef has really amped that sentiment up to peak levels. While we’re still waiting on a response to “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” it seems like die-hards have found something else to build hype around. Moreover, 15 unreleased leaks from him have apparently appeared on the [untitled] streaming app under the pgLang name. For those unaware, [untitled] markets itself as “a sacred place for your work-in-progress music,” and it’s unclear at press time whether this was legitimately posted by pgLang or if these tracks were uploaded by a fan.

Either way, there’s a lot of conversation around this on social media right now, as accounts are quickly clarifying that this is not new Kendrick Lamar music. In fact, many online have pointed out how a lot of this material had previously leaked in the past couple of years, so this technically isn’t anything new at this point. Still, to see these songs compiled in this way, under this name, and with all the context surrounding K.Dot right now is a pretty exciting moment. After all, there are rumors that we might actually get an album soon, although fans are pretty split on what that represents.

Kendrick Lamar Leaks Appear On [untitled] App Under pgLang Name

Yes, new music from Kendrick Lamar will likely be something special, but does it mean that “Like That” was just a promo move to get the conversation rolling? Or to incentivize fans even further to tune in by teasing a response to Drake, who’s already taken down one of his two diss tracks against him? It’s something that a lot of folks on both sides are doing mental gymnastics with, and something so shrouded in mystery that we’ll never really know until we know. That’s a big part of the reason as to why leaks like this impacted audiences in the way that they have.

Regardless, if you want to check out some of this unreleased material, then we’d recommend you look into [untitled] or dig for the OG leaks. Do you think they will ever officially come out, and what are your other predictions for the Compton lyricist’s next moves? Whatever the case, drop your thoughts down in the comments section below. Also, come back to HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Kendrick Lamar.

New Kendrick Lamar Leak Seemingly Makes Reference To Drake’s Mom

Kendrick Lamar has been quiet since he dropped “Like That.” The aftermath of his verse has been absolutely chaotic, with diss tracks popping up seemingly every day. Regardless of who tries to clown Drake on Instagram, though, the main event remains Lamar vs Drake. They are the big two, now that J. Cole has taken himself out of competition. Drake responded to “Like That” with “Push Ups,” and now fans are waiting for K. Dot to fire back. A new leak suggests he may already be loading up his weapon.

On April 18, a snippet of an untitled song surfaced on X (formerly Twitter). The snippet is 22 seconds long, and features Lamar (or what sounds like Lamar) crooning over a soul beat. The mood is silly, as people can be heard laughing in the background, but the lyrics give reason for pause. “Sweet p***y Sandra, please come home,” the rapper sings. “Sweet p***y Sandra, please don’t go, whoa whoa.” Lamar fans may not the similarities between the snippet and “untitled 04,” which appeared on the untitled, unmastered project. The big difference here, though, is that Lamar is singing the name of Drake’s mother, Sandra Graham.

Kendrick Lamar Sings About A Woman Named Sandra

Drake is famously close with his mother, and mentions her frequently in his music. She made a cameo in the music video for “Started from the Bottom,” and even had the song “Sandra’s Rose” named after her. It’s worth noting that very little information about the leak has been uncovered. Genius has made a lyrics page under the name “Sweet P***y Sandra” (what else), and the producer credited on the song is DJ Dahi. Lamar and Dahi have collaborated on “Money Trees” and “LOYALTY,” so it makes sense they’d reunite for such a monumental a diss.

The lack of information does force one to question the leak’s validity, however. Kendrick Lamar was just linked to a diss track titled “One Shot,” and days after its release, a TikTok producer admitted he made it with AI. It’s getting harder to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s not, so a healthy amount of skepticism is good with leaks like “Sweet P***y Sandra.” If it is real, though, the battle between Lamar and Drake is going to turn into an all out war.

Ice Spice’s Remix Of Cash Cobain’s “Fisherrr” Allegedly Leaks Online

Ice Spice has been keeping it very busy recently. After promising that she had big things coming in 2024 she’s well on her way to delivering on that promise. She led off the year with her new single “Think You The Sh*t (Fart).” The track was viral before it even dropped because of a hilarious teaser she shared to social media. She also recently unpacked two unreleased songs at her debut Coachella performance over the weekend. All those tracks will likely land on her debut album Y2K, which is expected to arrive this year.

In the short term though, her next release may be a contribution to someone else’s song. Cash Cobain scored a viral hit earlier this year when the New York rapper’s single “Fisherrr” gained a ton of traction online. In a new tweet, DJ Akademiks shared what he claims is a leaked version of Ice Spice’s remix of the song. “So um woke up and had an Ice Spice remix of “Fisherrr” in my inbox. F*ck it I’ll share w yall …she went crazy or na?” the caption of his post reads. It’s accompanied by a video playing the leak where Spice shows off a more relaxed style of rapping that’s closer to singing than her usual intensity. Check out the leaked song below.

Ice Spice’s Cash Cobain Remix

One of the songs Ice Spice debuted at Coachella got attention for reasons beyond just previewing the sound of her new album. It’s not entirely clear, but some fans online think she may be taking shots at Latto on the song.

That wouldn’t be too far outside the realm of possibility given that she’s done it in the past. Multiple songs on the deluxe edition of her Like..? EP included disses aimed at the “Big Energy” rapper. What do you think of Ice Spice’s leaked remix of “Fisherrr” by Cash Cobain? Do you think the pair should officially release this version of the song soon? Let us know in the comment section below.

Drake Reference Track From Lil Yachty Surfaces, DJ Akademiks Thinks Metro Boomin Leaked It

The Metro Boomin and Drake beef, which obviously has a lot of other moving parts, got an interesting development to kick this week off. Moreover, following the online spread of an alleged reference track that Lil Yachty made for Drizzy’s “Jumbotron S**t Poppin,” folks like DJ Akademiks and more claimed that Metro was the one to leak this. This is because a couple of people claimed to receive the .mp3 file via a random Atlanta number, and because the current feud narrative makes it hard to see this in any other context. But at the end of the day, there are a few reasons as to why this is not only nothing new, but downright meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

First off, it’s really impossible to know whether or not Metro Boomin was actually the person to send this leak out. If you’re basing it off of who’s in Atlanta, Drake is such a dominant and unstoppable artist that there are probably people in every city that would want to see his downfall. That’s not even to mention the other players in this beef who are outside of the A who might be going to extra lengths to cover their tracks. Still, this is all purely speculative and worthless at the end of the day, especially considering how prolific and numerous leakers have been in this Internet age.

Metro Boomin Allegedly Leaks Drake Reference Track From Lil Yachty: Listen

Second, if this really was Metro Boomin and he wanted to leak this reference track from Lil Yachty to Drake to make the OVO mogul look bad… so? Who cares? The Let’s Start Here. creative is literally credited as a producer and a writer on not just this specific Her Loss (2022) cut, but multiple. Reference tracks only hurt when their clients don’t credit their creators. In fact, folks tried to accuse Kendrick Lamar of this over the weekend, and since then, there has been much more scrutiny as multiple factors seemed to debunk it.

Kendrick Lamar is probably the biggest and most important name in this beef alongside Drake, and things are still quiet on the pgLang front after “Like That”… for now. But if the St. Louis producer or anyone else was actually trying to get at the 6ix God for this, better luck next time. Not all reference tracks are created equal. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, Metro Boomin, and this whole feud, come back to HNHH.

Drake Fires Back At Everyone On Leaked Diss Track, But It Might Be AI

Fans have been eagerly awaiting a response from Drake ever since Kendrick Lamar went after him on his collab with Future and Metro Boomin, “Like That.” Up until now, it’s been mostly radio silence from the Toronto-born performer. Now, however, a clip of what’s said to be a new Drizzy track called “Drop And Give Me 50” is making its rounds on social media. In the song, he seemingly takes shots at Kendrick, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, and more. The only catch is that it could have been created using AI.

Almost immediately after the song appeared online, listeners began to speculate that it wasn’t crafted by the real Drake. This is unconfirmed at the time of writing, and the song has now been mostly wiped from Twitter/X. Whether it’s real or not, commenters are analyzing Drake’s alleged bars to the fullest extent.

Drake’s Diss Track Allegedly Leaks Online

“I get more love in the city that you’re from n***a / Metro shut yo h*e a*s up and make some drums, n***a,” he seemingly rhymes, calling Metro Boomin out by name. “Pip-squeak, pipe down/You ain’t in no Big Three, SZA got you wiped down/Travis got you wiped down/Savage got you wiped down/Like your label, boy you Interscope right now,” he also allegedly fires back at Kendrick. He even may have addressed J. Cole deleting his own response to Kendrick and apologizing. “And that f*cking song y’all got is not starting beef with us/This sh*t been brewing in a pot, now I’m heating up/I don’t care what Cole think, that Dot sh*t was weak as f*ck,” he seemingly spits.

Only time will tell if the track is real or not. For the time being, fans are begging Drake to address the rumored “leak.” What do you think of an alleged Drake response track surfacing online? Do you think it’s AI or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Rich Homie Quan Blames Birdman For He & Young Thug’s 2015 Leak: “Do Not Druski Me”

Back in 2015, Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug fell victim to a major leak. According to the former, the person responsible for it was none other than Birdman. During a recent livestream alongside Duke Dennis, Quan recalled the leak, claiming that disgruntled, unpaid employees were behind it.

“Birdman, please do not Druski me. I’m telling a true story, man. Me and Thug in the studio, everyday working. We in there for three months straight. Come to find out Birdman ain’t pay the folks,” he explained. “Them folks gon’ leak every song me and Thug did the last three months, man — the people at the studio,” he continued. “It was album songs on there. Me and Thug had other projects; everything didn’t get released ’cause we still got other music.”

Rich Homie Quan Recalls 2015 Leak

This isn’t the first time Rich Homie Quan looked back on the infamous leak, however. In 2017, he discussed it on Everyday Struggle, revealing that it really upset him. “This one of the times Birdman didn’t pay the studio, so the studio leaked all the music. They said Bird didn’t pay them so they leaked all the songs, bro,” he described. “I got mad… when I would see them, I kept thinking it was a dream. Like, ‘I know this song.’”

“It might have been two songs out of all those songs that I really cared about,” he added. “And once those two got leaked, I was like, ‘Damn, those were going to be on the album.’” Luckily, plenty of the songs ended up as fan favorites, despite the leak. SZA Puts “Lana” Leaker On Blast, Fans Troll Her For Going After Someone With Only 4 Likes

SZA called out a user on Twitter for leaking unreleased music from her upcoming project, Lana, on Monday. In doing so, she clarified the status of the deluxe version of SOS after going on a since-deleted rant about scrapping the music she has and starting over. In response to the drama, fans noted that the post SZA was upset about only managed to get four likes before it was deleted.

“Will be dropping the leaks and outtakes from SOS as promised as the deluxe asap. Lana deserves more time and music no one’s ever heard before seems fair. Bless,” she wrote in one post. From there, she shared a screenshot of the leak. “Yesterday Janessa leaked unreleased pics and audio,” she captioned the post. “Then she deleted and deactivated before rca could get her. SZA continued in the thread: “The second leak tweet was fake but for sure pissed me off lol. Janessa was also in the replies to that tweet before she deactivated. I decided w all the leaks and me not knowing what someone has or doesn’t have it’s too complicated so I should jus consolidate the leaks and the outtakes and drop that as to not prolong the process and then focus on my next project as a win win for everybody. Y’all know I hate a thread but I had to clarify .. now enjoy your evening. I love you. And please be clear anybody defending a thief is weird as f*ck. I don’t come in your job and take sh*t and f*ck up your work. Why would that be okay? Where’s the home training? Nobody wants to prosecute a young woman. SZA Says She’s Restarting “‘Lana’ From Scratch” Due To Leaks

SZA says she’s restarting work on the deluxe version of her SOS album, Lana, due to fans leaking songs she had planned for the project. She explained the situation in a pair of tweets she’s since deleted that went up on Monday. She says fans can keep the three songs they’ve already gotten access to.

“So, we’ll make this really simple,” she wrote. “Y’all leaked three songs from the deluxe. At this point, y’all can keep the throwaways and leaks. I’ll be starting ‘Lana’ from scratch. Do not ask me about it again. Thank you.” She added in a follow-up: “I’ll round up the leaks y’all already got and u can have those. Seems like a fair deal. ENJOY.”

You are a f*cking thief, and I promise to put maximum energy into holding everyone accountable to the full extent of the law. I am tired.” Check out her posts on the matter on Twitter below.

Kanye West Leaks Adidas Memo Allegedly Conspiring Against Him

Kanye West is not giving up in his battle with adidas to call out their business practices amid their new rollout of Yeezys. For those unaware, he claimed that this new initiative to sell the remaining sneaker inventory with new colorways emerged without his approval. Not only that, but Ye alleged that the company was still suing him for hundreds of millions of dollars and refusing to pay him. Now, he leaked an alleged adidas memo on Instagram on Thursday (February 29) that supposedly gives employees various “talking points” when it comes to their debacle. Specifically, it advises employees to “please refrain from extended conversations” about the clash and to emphasize the brand’s sole ownership of Yeezy designs, proper licensing and process of upholding contract agreements, and the years-long completed state of these new designs.

“This is the document that they give employees at adidas when asked questions about Yeezy,” Kanye West captioned the post. “There is an overlap to adidas and Kim ignoring my opinion on where my kids go to school or people ignoring my name change or the entire celebrity culture ostracizing me for my political opinion. It all comes down to human rights which you sacrifice when you’re stigmatized with mental issues. All these situations are actually far cr*zier than what I’ve been branded to be.”

Kanye West Calls Out Adidas Again

Furthermore, this news actually contrasts interestingly with the success of Ye’s Ty Dolla $ign collab album Vultures. Apparently, their listening events in various U.S. and European cities netted them about $12 million across all shows, which presumably all sold out. Still, that doesn’t change the antisemitic controversies, strained personal relationships, and combative business maneuvers that caused this adidas split. Kanye West is definitely making a valid point here, especially in terms of his mental condition, but it’s muddied by his methods.

Meanwhile, with rumors of his solo album Y3 apparently not being as true as fans thought, who knows what he could do next? Two Vultures installments remain in Ye and Ty’s release plans, and many song previews with no drop attached. As for adidas and Yeezy, it’s very unclear how this situation could evolve in the future. With that in mind, check back in with HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Kanye West.
