Blueface Pleads Guilty In 2022 Las Vegas Shooting: Report

Blueface is putting one of his legal cases to rest, according to 8NewsNow. Court documents reveal that the California rapper pleaded guilty to two charges related to two separate incidents in Las Vegas. The report claims that an attorney for Blueface, born Jonathan Porter, informed the judge that he would plead guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge and a felony count of discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure. His attorney also stated that he waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Records reveal that Judge Kathleen Delaney agreed to the deal on Monday. The judge scheduled his sentencing for Oct. 2nd, 2023 and it appears that he’ll dodge any sort of jail time. His attorneys Caitlyn McASmis and Kristina Wildeveld told 8NewsNow that he would only face probation when he faces a judge to receive his sentence. In the meantime, Judge Kathleen Delaney agreed to release Blueface from house arrest, stemming from his arrest earlier this month.

The Charges

The felony charge is related to an incident at Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in October 2022, per Las Vegas Review-Journal. A man, who police identified as Kentabius Traylor, told police that someone shot at his video as he drove away. He said that Blueface shot at him after making some remarks about his vehicle, leaving him with a bullet graze to his left hand. Although Blue might end up serving probation for the incident, there are still civil cases currently against him.

The battery charge is one that stemmed from a separate incident that occurred in May. The rapper and Chrisean Malone, better known as Chrisean Rock, reportedly got into an altercation with a woman who attempted to record them. She accused Blueface and his team of assault, leading to the battery charge. At the same time, he was also placed on house arrest, which he recently claimed was due to Malone’s actions that evening. Blueface Pleads Guilty In Las Vegas Shooting Case

On Monday (June 26), according to The Review Journal, Blueface went to court in what was expected to be a preliminary hearing for his Las Vegas shooting. For those unaware, the rapper fired shots at a man who made a bad joke against his crew outside of a Vegas club in October of 2022. Moreover, in this hearing, opposing parties met to determine whether there was enough evidence to press charges. However, the California MC ended up pleading guilty in this case and took the case to a whole other phase. Furthermore, he did so on one felony count of firing a gun at an occupied vehicle and one misdemeanor battery charge.

To elaborate, according to these reports, Blueface will formally enter plea on July 3. What’s more is that prosecutor Nick Portz expressed that the state of Nevada is open to considering a probation sentence for the incident. Of course, this consideration applies to whenever the “BDD” artist formally enters his plea. In addition, it seems like this new deal will see authorities drop all other charges against him for the altercation.

Regardless, this legal development failed to provide further details on what went down, since it was already well-known. According to TMZ, who obtained alleged legal documents, Blueface found himself at the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Vegas in October of last year. When his alleged victim joked about ““some females in a cheap vehicle” he was talking to, the rhymer’s crew reportedly attacked him. As the victim sped off, he allegedly shot at his truck. Still, as of writing this article, another civil lawsuit connected to this incident is still up in the air.

Meanwhile, the alleged owner of the club blasted the rapper for his actions, claiming that he forced them to close the establishment. In an Instagram message, he expressed wishes to see Blue in prison for “the rest of his life” or “pay [them] until the day he leaves this earth.” With all this mind, it’s surprising that the case will apparently resolve quickly. Usher Crowd-Surfing During Las Vegas Concert

Fans probably knew what to expect going into Usher’s residency in Las Vegas, or so they thought. Yesterday a video surfaced on Twitter of Usher jumping into the audience and crowd-surfing in the middle of a song. While crowd-surfing isn’t anything unusual at a show Usher probably isn’t the first name you’d think of doing it. Usher is in the middle of a residency at the MGM in Las Vegas playing a number of shows in June and July. He’s also scheduled to return to the stage later this year for a further residency in October.

Earlier this month Usher performed at The Roots’ Picnic festival in Philly. Before his Sunday night set fans caught videos of him just walking around the festival. Fans went crazy around the singer as he made his way through the crowd during someone else’s set, much to his amusement. Alongside Usher, the festival roster included GloRilla, Lauryn Hill, Ari Lennox, City Girls, and more.

Usher Dives Into The Crowd

Last month Usher was asked about what his dream collaboration was and the answer was pretty surprising. His choice was the legendary film director and king of mobster movies Martin Scorsese. While he’s been in a handful of movies before his dream job would be collaborating with the Goodfellas director. In the same interview, he made sure not to get fans’ hopes up after a recent rumor. The singer confirmed that there was no plan to release a sequel to his classic 2004 album Confessions. Instead, he’s trying to look forward and come up with new ideas to pursue.

Usher’s last album came out back in 2016. Hard II Love was his 8th album and it debuted at number 5 on the Hot 100. He followed it up with a short collaborative project with Zaytoven called in 2018 called A. He dropped “GLU” his first new single of 2023 so far and his most recent new material back in March. Jack Harlow has said he feels sick after having to cancel a concert. He expressed his disappointment on Twitter after announcing the cancellation of his Las Vegas show due to an airline issue. The Louisville rapper-turned-actor shared that his plane, which was grounded in Kentucky, was unable to take off. This led to the unfortunate cancellation of the scheduled performance.

In his statement, Harlow conveyed his frustration and regret. The rapper mentioned that it was the first time in his career that he had to miss his own show. Despite efforts to find alternative flights or transportation, the circumstances were beyond his control. He apologized to his fans, expressing his sadness at not being able to deliver the anticipated performance and fulfill their song requests. Jack Harlow, of course, assured that refunds would be provided. Then, he pledged to make it up to every single person who had planned to attend the show.

Harlow “Can’t Jump” On a Flight

In other news, Jack Harlow has been quite active on the acting front recently. Most notably, he appeared in a major role in Hulu’s White Men Can’t Jump. Social media was buzzing with concerns ever since the announcement of the rapper taking on the role originated by Woody Harrelson. Just last week she was caught on camera twerking at a bowling alley in Atlanta alongside her mother. This past weekend she entertained yet another audience, joining Ja Rule in Las Vegas to perform at the Palms Casino Resort on Sunday (May 28). Much to the crowd’s pleasure, the fashionista brought out her man Nelly to sing with her, even throwing it back on him at one point during their set.

As TMZ reports, the recently reunited couple belted out 2008’s “Body On Me” together, during which they got up close and personal. Concertgoers were clearly feeding off their flirtatious and fun energy, loudly cheering both R&B superstars on throughout the entire song. Fans have long been speculating that the former lovers reconciled, and according to sources close to them, they’re “very happy” to have found their way back to one another at this point in life.

In the last month alone we’ve seen Nelly and Ashanti together at the Davis-Garcia fight, and following that they gave yet another impressive performance together. Fans were treated to a performance by Gucci Mane in Vegas on Friday night, where he is a regular performer. Mane has been dropping several new songs this year. His most recent offering was “Pissy” featuring Roddy Ricch and Nardo Wick. However, the veteran rapper wasn’t alone. He was accompanied by his wife Keyshia Ka’oir. Keyshia is a cosmetics and fitness guru and the couple has been married since 2017. Their wedding was famously paid for by the BET Network, who covered the wedding in a ten-part show.

Keyshia Gets Low At Gucci Mane Show

Gucci Mane is a regular fixture in Vegas, holding a residency at Drai’s Rooftop Nightclub. But on Friday night, he was joined by Keyshia, who danced on stage behind the rapper as he performed for a packed crowd. Keyshia got low, bouncing on her thighs for the crowd. Keyshia was dressed in a skin-tight bodysuit with a salacious cutout in the front. Her public modesty was maintained with a pair of large, black pasties. Her outfit was completed with a high ponytail and red pump heels. As she bounced behind her husband, she spun a white towel.

However, fans online weren’t too keen on Keyshia’s performance. “She took a pill she high as hell 😂” one commentator said. One of the most anticipated sets at Las Vegas’ Lovers & Friends Festival on Saturday (May 6) was undoubtedly Missy Elliott. Not only did the rap legend run through her greatest tracks, but she previewed an upcoming song fittingly titled “The Greatest.” On Twitter, she posted a short clip of it, and though no Missy verse is found, the beat sounds infectious and energizing thanks to the beat and featured guest Ha Sizzle, a bounce artist. Also on the social media platform, she confirmed the song’s title and said that 2nd Line Shawty would also appear. Moreover, HipHopDX confirmed that Wili Hendrix, ReemixLoops, and Michael Aristotle helped produce “The Greatest.”

Of course, it’s a great time to be a Missy Elliott fan. Recently, the Virginia native sat down with Lil Wayne, who once again praised her as his favorite rapper. “As a kid before Jay- this before I even knew a Jay-Z existed, I was into Missy Elliott,” he stated. “You know it was because you were able to say things that I would want to say as I’m rapping. You not only made me like- you made me love it. And I became so interested in you. And what happened was I bought the album and did not know that you really was spitting like… You know what I mean. You know I spit that verse to you all the time.”

Furthermore, this new track would be the 51-year-old’s first solo single since “Cool Off” in 2020. No one really knows what happened between Usher and Chris Brown in Las Vegas, if anything. Just one day after the two allegedly were involved in an altercation that left Usher bloodied by the nose, both stars performed at the Lovers & Friends Festival.

Before the festival started, Usher put to bed rumors of his face being “kinda jacked up” by showing his face in a video before the day got started. Later, the two would hit the stage and perform in separate sets. Neither artist spoke to the moment.

Usher reportedly went behind a line of charter buses where Chris and his team were, with Usher returning with a bloody nose. Hollywood Unlocked referred to the moment as a “jumping.”

TMZ later added the original issue was over an American Music Awards performance Brownw as to deliver as a tribute to Michael Jackson.
