Kodak Black Co-Signs Trump’s Take On Rihanna’s Halftime Show: “That Sh*t Garbage”

Kodak Black appears to side with Donald Trump surrounding Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl. Days before Rihanna hit the stage, Trump and several other Republicans called out the NFL for allowing the Bajan singer to perform during the halftime show. Trump and several others accused Rihanna of disrespecting America because she criticized the former president. It largely centered around Rihanna tagging “F*ck Donald Trump” on a car and then sharing a photo of the graffiti on social media.

Much of the backlash began with criticism from Rep. Ronny Jackson, who took issue with the previously mentioned post. “She’s made a career of spewing degenerate filth while badmouthing America every chance she gets,” Rep. Jackson wrote on Trump’s Truth Social. “Why is the NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna SHOULD NOT be the halftime performer!!” Shortly after, Trump chimed in, writing, “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!” The comments quickly spread beyond Truth Social and onto every other social media platform that Trump was previously banned from.

Kodak Black Agrees With Donald Trump

Ever since Trump granted Kodak Black clemency, the rapper made it clear that he doesn’t think Trump can do no wrong. Just after Rihanna performed, the former president described the halftime show among the worst in NFL history. “EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history — This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday night. “Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!”

Kodak Black echoed these sentiments as he watched the Super Bowl from the State Farm Stadium in Arizona. “Uncle Trump said that shit is garbage, man,” Yak said as he turned the camera to Rihanna’s performance. Evidently, his undying love for Trump clouded his ability to think critically but that isn’t all that shocking. Still, everyone else loved Rihanna’s set on Sunday, where she dug into her catalog and performed some of her greatest hits. Rih hasn’t responded to Trump or Kodak but we’ll keep you posted if she ever does. Check out Kodak Black’s comments above.

Kodak Black Enrolls In Arizona State University

Kodak Black has been working relentlessly ever since Donald Trump pardoned him. The Broward County rapper’s unveiled a slew of projects, including Back For Everything and Kutthroat Bill: Vol 1. However, he also expanded well beyond the world of music. He built a long resume surrounding philanthropic efforts. He donated to various causes and provided air conditioners to housing projects in his stomping grounds of Broward County. Additionally, the rapper recently walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week for Louis Vuitton.

Clearly, Kodak Black has many things he wants to accomplish. However, it seems that higher education is also in his plans. In 2018, the rapper confirmed that he received his GED while incarcerated. “I just received my high school diploma today and although it is a big accomplishment for me I am yearning for more,” he said in an announcement. “I appreciate my teachers Mr. Williams and Mr. Ward for those times when I would get frustrated you worked diligently to make sure I had the right materials and was ready for this big day.”

Kodak Black Is Going To College

After earning his GED, Kodak Black appears to be readying for his college years. The rapper hit Instagram where he announced that he enrolled at Arizona State University. He didn’t reveal what program he enrolled in. However, he suggested that he might have a few lessons for his profs. “Arizona beennn one of my states fun fact: I’m really enrolled in ASU college after getting my GED in jail I’m jus in love wit applying myself although money so long I can teach the school something,” he wrote.

Kodak Black previously mentioned intentions to go to college over the past few years. After earning his GED, the Florida Gators invited Yak to their locker room to celebrate with them. The “Super Gremlin” rapper used the opportunity as a guest of honor to inquire about going to Florida University to earn his degree. “I got my GED, man, I’m trying to come to college,” he told the coach as the room erupted with laughter. Though he might not be heading to Florida University, Arizona State welcomed him with open arms. Check his post above.

Kodak Black Pays Rent for West Palm Residents

Kodak Black makes sure he does a good deed every now and then.  This past weekend, he surprised residents of West Palm Seashore Households by paying their rent in full for the rest of the year.  The Back for Everything rapper teamed up with the Zachariah McQueen Foundation to make the donation to 28 families.  Kodak felt the need to give back to his community because an increase of $1,000 in rent without any prior notice is unfair.

In a statement, he expressed his thoughts about what the residents are going through.

”When people get up and go to work daily, they should be able to come home and relax without worrying if they would have a roof over their head the next month.  But unfortunately,  we live in a society where people can barely get a raise at work, but can be told that their rent has increased by over $1,000 without any real warning.  That’s just not right.”

The 25-year-old has been known to give back to his community as he was honored by the Mayor of Broward County last year.  In 2021, he purchased over 50 air conditioners for families in the housing projects in Broward County.  Last year, he donated 500 turkeys.

It’s no secret the Florida rapper wants to do right by the people.  It showed when he showed up late to his show in Detroit this past weekend.  A video surfaced online showing Kodak pleading with arena officials to let him perform even though he was late.  He even told them he would pay to perform.  The “Walk” rapper didn’t want to disappoint the fans.

“Kodak is the GOAT,” Charlamagne explained. “I was watching that video and I was thinking to myself like, ‘Man, do people realize how dope Kodak Black is, yo? Not just as a personality, but as a rapper, as an artist. You know these true hip-hop heads will be like ‘Ah, man, you’re talking about Kodak Black…’

He added that he felt Kendrick Lamar and Kodak Black provided similar perspectives, even though they’re from different places.

“I look at Kodak Black the same way I look at Kendrick Lamar,” he added. “I’m not even joking. I feel like they’re both two different levels of prolific. They’re telling similar stories, just from different places. They’re just two different versions of the same kid from the hood.”

Kodak Black’s Lawyer Breaks Down Differences In 6ix9ine & Gunna Cases

Bradford Cohen knows a thing or two about high-profile cases, especially with a steady client like Kodak Black. The Florida star has had his fair share of legal troubles, and with each turn, Cohen is there to ensure Kodak is taken care of. It seems that Cohen has received several requests to speak about the YSL case, more specifically, about Gunna.

Tekashi 6ix9ine made his voice heard on social media as he targeted the “Pushin P” rapper. Following Gunna agreeing to a plea deal, 6ix9ine questioned why the industry wasn’t attacking the YSL star with the same fervor that they did to him.

As we know, 6ix9ine can be unrelenting when someone is in his crosshairs. Cohen penned a lengthy statement on Instagram where he addressed the differences in 6ix9ine’s cooperation with the authorities and Gunna copping to a plea.

“I have been getting an enormous amount of DMs asking my opinion on Gunna vs 69 comparison. It’s interesting, but in my opinion different scenarios,” Cohen began. “First I don’t judge what a Def does in their own interest. That’s their business. You can decide if you FW them or not and that’s your decision.”

“Some people believe any snitching is snitching. In Gunna’s case his plea only effects the defense of Ythug if he was to blame Gunna for drugs in the car,” he also wrote. “Other than that the statement doesn’t come into a trial.”

Cohen further shared that 6ix9ine’s situation involved actual testimony against co-defendants.

“That was full on testifying against co def and against others in the industry,” he added. “Again, not saying what’s right or wrong, but there is a distinct difference in the 2 situations.”

Gunna was the first YSL co-defendant to agree to a plea. In recent weeks, the public has noticed that several of the rapper’s friends and Rap peers have unfollowed him on social media.

In his return to Instagram, Gunna advocated for YSL and Young Thug. Fourteen co-defendants are on trial and face several charges related to allegations that YSL is a criminal organization.

NBA YoungBoy & Kodak Squash Beef On Facetime

Kodak and YoungBoy

YoungBoy and Kodak Black squashed their beef that started in 2017 after many thought Kodak took shots at YoungBoy on his track “Time Never Mattered” after the Iyanna Mayweather stabbing incident. The two rappers connected on FaceTime while Kodak ate Cajun gumbo in his car. The beef dating back to 2017 included a back-and-forth with […]
