Usher Serenaded Doja Cat During His Latest Las Vegas Residency Show As An Early Birthday Gift To The Rapper

When Usher urged men not to leave their ladies around him, he wasn’t joking. His Usher: My Way Las Vegas residency has shown that he remains one of R&B’s most notorious ladies’ men. During his shows, he selects a special lady from the crowd as he sings his 2010 song “There Goes My Baby.” In the past, Keke Palmer, Saweetie, Winnie Harlow, Kimora Lee Simmons, Kim Kardashian, and Issa Rae were chosen to share that intimate movement.

On Friday, October 20, Doja Cat became the latest celebrity to be serenaded by Usher. As an early birthday gift to her, Usher spotted her out of the crowd and made a beeline straight towards her. In video shared by a concertgoer, it appears that even though Doja was seated next to her rumored boyfriend, J. Cyrus, she didn’t hold back.

At first, Doja played coy to Usher’s advances, but as the crowd cheered her on, she went full-in. She eventually stood up to dance along with Usher as she sang the lyrics to the song.

Usher’s residency is slated to end soon, surely there will be more celebrity serenades.

Keke Palmer On Lizzo: “People Are More Interested In Believing The Negative”

Specifically, she referenced a humanitarian award the “Special” artist won at the Black Music Action Coalition’s third annual gala. “Lizzo, some people are saying, ‘Oh, she should be canceled,’” the Nope star’s remarks began. “‘Ain’t she supposed to be canceled?’ And then other people are saying, ‘Well, how is she even receiving this humanitarian award?’ What I find so interesting is, we have two people saying two vastly two different things.

“But people are more interested in believing the negative,” Keke Palmer went on concerning Lizzo. “What makes the negative more real? Some people are saying she’s good, and some people are saying she’s f***ed up. Why couldn’t we even say that maybe both exist? Maybe sometimes, she’s an a**hole like everybody is. And maybe, a lot of times, she’s a great person. Maybe she’s just a normal human. Why is is that she’s either one hundred percent villainous or one hundred percent good?”

Chrisean Rock Apologizes To Keke Palmer: “Mothers Should Uplift Each Other”

Blueface isn’t the only person Chrisean Rock is constantly changing her mind on. The 23-year-old has now also issued an apology to Keke Palmer – another new mother – who sent an outpouring of support to her fellow star via social media to start off the week. Unfortunately, the message wasn’t particularly well received, seemingly due to the large amount of stress Rock is currently under. Her emotions have been running higher than normal due to her baby daddy, Blueface’s questionable decision to post a photo of their son’s genitals on Twitter. The “Thotiana” rapper now claims he was hacked, but few are buying the story.

When Rock first came across Palmer’s message of support, she expressed a desire for people to text or DM her instead of speaking out on her behalf. There’s hardly been a day when the Baltimore native hasn’t been publicly slammed since announcing her pregnancy. As a result, it’s understandable that she’s feeling so fed up now. After taking some time to reflect and re-read the lengthy think piece, however, Chrisean felt inclined to apologize to the 30-year-old for lashing out earlier in the day.

Chrisean Rock and her weeks-old son have been spotted outside nearly every day since the little one’s birth, and with every trip has come criticism for the 23-year-old’s unique parenting style. The most recent bout of drama unfolded after her co-parent, Blueface, revealed that their baby boy has a hernia during an interview with Adam22 and Wack 100. When that news went viral, the father of three made the disappointing decision to post a photo of his baby’s genitals online while putting Rock on blast for allegedly neglecting to deal with the issue.

Plenty of people have been chiming in on the disturbing situation, including another new mother, Keke Palmer. “This is so sad to me, especially as a new mom,” the Chicago native wrote on Instagram on Monday (September 25). “I didn’t wanna say nothing or involve myself [in] anything but my heart is breaking for all involved. This is exactly what maternal health care is about,” the former child star began her rant. ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter hit Twitter and revealed Usher as the performer, using a video that paired the “Confessions Pt. II” video with Kim Kardashian inserts. The Apple Music halftime show will be in Las Vegas, and the King of Vegas is about to send it up.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” Usher said. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

If you plan to see Usher before his residency closes in Las Vegas, you have until December. The R&B legend hit Instagram and revealed the final days of his extended stay at the Park MGM in Las Vegas will begin on Nov. 3 and wrap on Dec. 2.

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson attended Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 4th together. Jackson recorded Palmer joining in on Beyoncé’s “everybody on mute” challenge at the show in a video on his Instagram Story. The night out comes months after their rumored breakup.

In the clip, the two place their fingers over one another’s lips until Beyonce sings “Look around, it’s me and my crew, big energy,” before they break out into excitement. The two also posted themselves dancing to “Break My Soul.”

Before the night out, the relationship status of Jackson and Palmer had been up in the air throughout the summer. Beyonce will wrap up the tour in Kansas City, next month.
