Blueface’s Father Provides Hopeful Update On His & Chrisean Rock’s Legal Woes

Both Blueface and Chrisean Rock have found themselves behind bars in recent months, and updates on the iconic duo have since been few and far between. Fortunately, however, Blueface’s father Johnathan Porter Sr recently provided fans with a brief message. In a new Instagram post, he vibes to Kendrick Lamar’s track “Not Like Us” before sharing his hopes for the future.

According to him, he hopes that his son will be released within the next 20 days with time served. He also wishes for Chrisean’s release on the same day. Porter Sr asks supporters to keep them both in their prayers, “so that everybody can have a new start.” At the time of writing, it remains unclear when Blueface will actually be released. He was previously expected to get out on July 2.

He turned himself in back in January for an alleged parole violation and has been in custody ever since. Chrisean then attended one of his hearings last month, where she was also arrested. Reportedly, she’s expected to get extradited to Oklahoma after finishing up a 30-day stint in California for alleged assault with a deadly weapon. She was charged in Oklahoma with “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.”

In his caption, Blueface’s father noted that their son Chrisean Jr. is “missing his mother dearly.” Hopefully, both of them will return home to the 11-month-old sooner rather than later. Benny The Butcher Reveals That He Recently Spent Four Days In Jail

Benny the Butcher has a lot of eyes on him. He’s one of the most respected New York rappers in the game at the moment. He’s also worked with multiple superstars. Yet somehow, Benny the Butcher was locked up for four days without the general public realizing. The rapper recounted his unexpected stay encounter in Gwinnett Country via Instagram. Even more unexpected, the experience turned out to be a wholly positive one.

Benny the Butcher was vague about the circumstances in which he was arrested. He didn’t want to delve into the specifics. “That’s the first time i ever made it on a unit in 11 years,” he said. “I had some bullsh*t probation hold.” The real heart of the story lies in time behind bars, however. The Griselda rapper stated that he encountered someone that he was actually able to help. “I met some brothers that I probably wouldn’t have been able to meet if i wasn’t in there,” he noted. I got to meet somebody and got the opportunity to help him with his lawyer. Somebody who i just met, ain’t even know him.”

Benny the Butcher’s legal history has been well-documented. The rapper was arrested violating his parole shortly before the death of his brother in 2006. His past, coupled with the power that he’s been able to accrue as a rapper, resulted in a full circle moment. “I helped that n**ga, just out of nowhere,” he explained. “That’s the least I could do. Being back in there just opened my eyes up and showed me what’s still going on.” Benny noted that God works in mysterious ways.

He did clarify, however, that he didn’t help the unnamed man out so he could brag about it on social media. “I ain’t do that shit to get on here and tell y’all I did that sh*t,” he asserted. Rather, he did it because it made him feel like he was making a difference. “That sh*t just made me feel good in my soul,” he added. “I was able to do it because I’ve been in that position before. I just be trying to help strangers.” Benny’s parting words to viewers was to help one’s own self whenever possible. “Can’t nobody save you but your muthaf**kin’ self,” he explained. “But that person in the mirror, your own worst enemy.”

Chrisean Rock’s Arrest Has Wack 100 Fed Up: “Nothing Blueface Can Do”

Earlier this week, things took an unfortunate turn for Chrisean Rock, as the new mother was taken into custody upon entering a San Fernando Valley courtroom. Reportedly, she had shown up to support her child’s father Blueface, who’s currently dealing with his own fair share of legal issues. TMZ captured footage of the Baddies star being escorted off the premises in handcuffs shortly after she was spotted walking in with her son.

It was later confirmed that Chrisean was arrested due to a felony fugitive warrant out of Oklahoma dating back to 2022. Immediately, fans expressed concern for her son’s well-being and had several questions about the sticky situation. Luckily, Blueface’s manager Wack 100 recently took to social media to clear some things up. He also provided more details of what she’s currently up against.

He began his message by confirming that despite fans’ demands, he is unable to bail Chrisean out of jail. According to him, Chrisean is being held without bail for an alleged probation violation. He says that all she and her loved ones can do now is wait until the judge makes a decision. Wack adds that at worst, she could end up spending a few months behind bars. Fortunately, even that seems unlikely to him.

“We don’t need to get her attorney, okay?” he explained. “That’s the bottom line. Young Thug’s Lawyer Sentenced To 20 Days In Jail For Contempt

Young Thug is facing up to 120 years in prison if convicted on RICO charges. The rapper is believed by the prosecution to be founder and leader of YSL. His lawyer, Brian Steel, has fought tooth and nail to ensure that his client sees the light of day. Steel encountered the wrath of the legal system, however, on June 10. The lawyer confronted the prosecution and the judge over an alleged secret meeting that they had with an alleged Young Thug associate.

Steel took both parties to task over the alleged meeting, as the associate, Kenneth Copeland, is said to be a “star witness” in the case. “If that’s true, what this is is coercion,” Steel said. “[As well as] witness intimidation, ex parte communications that we have a constitutional right to be present for.” He cited an inside source. He refused, however, to name said source despite the demands of the judge. Young Thug’s lawyer noted that an answer would violate attorney-client protections and “work product” privilege.

The judge tried to order an answer out of Steel by giving him an ultimatum. “I’m going to give you five minutes,” he asserted. “If you don’t tell me who it is, I’m going to put you in contempt.” Steel, sticking by his word, responded: “I don’t need five minutes.” The lawyer was allowed to carry out the rest of his case but was taken into custody soon after. Steel will spend 10 weekends in jail. This means 20 consecutive days behind bars. Steel requested to spend these days in jail with Young Thug. If his bail is denied. Some 20 plus lawyers stood outside the courtroom to show their support for Steel.

Brian Steel has been adamant about Young Thug’s innocence since day one. He told 11Alive’s Neima Abdulahi he appalled by the rapper’s legal treatment. “I’ve had the pleasure of defending Williams for approximately a decade. I know his family, I’ve defended him in courtrooms multiple times.” Steel also noted, however, that Young Thug’s musical persona does not reflect his real life. “It’s an act. They are performers. They’re performing all the time. Much like, I guess, professional wrestlers. We don’t even know their real names. They’re performing all the time.”

Late last month, Sean Kingston’s Miami mansion was raided by authorities in connection to a lawsuit. He’s accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, furniture, vehicles, and more. The performer was not home at the time of the raid, though his mother Janice Turner was taken into custody at the scene. Hours later, Kingston was arrested on various charges. The charges include alleged grand theft, fraud, criminal use of personal identification, violating probation, and more.

Turner was released days after her arrest, followed shortly after by her son. He posted a $100K bond before walking out of the Broward County jail yesterday. In footage captured from his release, he’s seen surrounded by a crowd of eager reporters as he makes his way toward a Cadillac Escalade SUV. He dodged multiple questions about his charges, also attempting to keep a low profile with a white t-shirt wrapped around his head. Reportedly, he had his mother, sister, a personal security guard, and more waiting for him outside the jail for roughly an hour.

While Kingston opted to keep quiet when asked about the several charges he’s facing, his attorney Bob Rosenblatt is “very confident” that they’d come out victorious in a jury trial. “Well, I don’t know who is claiming they owe money. You know, we were aware of the watches, we are aware of the TV issue,” he told CBS News Miami earlier this week. “If there are other issues I’m not sure about… It’s a breach of contract. There’s no fraud here. There’s no organized fraud at all.”

Sean Kingston Is Out On $100,000 Bond

Sean Kingston posted a $100,000 bond to walk out of jail in Broward County, Florida on Tuesday following last month’s arrest on various charges. CBS News Miami published footage of the singer departing the facility with a white t-shirt covering his face before quickly hopping in a vehicle outside. He stands accused of stealing money, jewelry, a Cadillac Escalade SUV, and furniture by allegedly defrauding multiple businesses. His charges include grand theft, fraud, criminal use of personal identification, and violation of probation for trafficking stolen property.

Kingston’s attorney, Bob Rosenblatt, says they plan to file a not-guilty plea and are “very confident” in a jury trial. “Well, I don’t know who is claiming they owe money. Police arrested Kingston’s 61-year-old mother, Janice Turner, in the alleged scheme as well. They charged her with conducting an organized scheme to defraud, grand theft, identity theft, and related crimes. As caught by CBS, she previously pleaded guilty to bank fraud for stealing over $160,000 in 2006. She served over a year in prison at the time.

Amid news of the arrests, Kingston teamed up with NBA YoungBoy for the new single, “Why Oh Why.” He’s best known for his run of hits in the 2000s, with his iconic single, “Beautiful Girls”, peaking atop the Billboard Hot 100 in 2007. Wack 100 Explains Why He Thinks Diddy Is Going To Prison

Wack 100, like many other celebrities and regular folk online, has been commenting a lot on the various lawsuits against Diddy for alleged sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking. However, he has a very particular reason as to why he thinks that the Bad Boy mogul might face jail time that doesn’t have much to do with the current narrative against him. Moreover, the music executive gave his theory during his most recent interview with DJ Vlad, who recently uploaded a clip of it to the VladTV YouTube channel. Wack explained that one particular issue could rope Sean Combs into a scheme that goes far beyond just rap music or the entertainment world.

To sum it up, Wack 100 posits that Diddy is allegedly a drug mule that has the ability to testify whether or not they gave substances for him to distribute, use, or give away. This, in his view, would make the New York native liable for ten to 15 years in prison if these drug trafficking allegations are true, which they have not been confirmed as at press time. In addition, Wack also spoke on Cassie’s alleged cooperation with federal authorities, which he thinks won’t help his case at all. Finally, he theorized that supposed links to underage individuals could pose entirely new legal ramifications that would only further serve to taint Puff Daddy’s image.

“Diddy,” Wack 100 began a video reacting to the footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway. “I just seen that video. You’s a b***h a** n***a. And I hope, if whatever happens to you happens to you, I hope Big Freddy and Deebo Eddie strap your a** down. And I hope nobody come help your a**. It’s going down. You did this.”

Meanwhile, Wack 100’s other conspiracy theories involve Megan Thee Stallion allegedly lying about the Tory Lanez shooting. “Meg’s a liar,” he told Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason lee. “Oh it’s f***ed up, [the pieces of evidence] are coming out one way or another. They’re just delaying it because they’re trying to get it in court. If they can’t get it in court, it’s going to hit the net. And when it hits the net, they’re going to see that it’s an innocent man in jail.”

Island Boys’ Kodiyakredd Insists He Was Taken To Jail For “No Reason”

Over the weekend, it was reported that Island Boys member Franky Venegas, who also goes by Kodiyakredd, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale Friday night for various driving-related offenses. He’s accused of reckless driving, false ID, and operating a vehicle without a valid license. His twin brother and the other half of the musical duo, Flyysoulja, was quick to show him support on social media. “Free him. Flysoulja x kodiyakredd real brother got you,” he wrote on TikTok.

It appears as though the 22-year-old has since been released from police custody after getting booked into the Broward County Jail. In a new clip obtained by Daily Mail, he’s seemingly back at home as he provides fans with an update. According to him, he’s completely unbothered by the arrest. Moreover, he believes he was taken to jail for no reason.

Kodiyakredd Looks Unbothered Following Recent Arrest

“Yo, I’m going to jail for no reason bro,” he said in one clip, which was followed by his update. “I’m out by the way,” he began. “I came out early as f*ck in the morning, y’all know what time it is.” Kodiyakredd continued, lighting up and insisting he doesn’t care at all about his latest legal issues. “I’m gonna be chillin’, I don’t give a f*ck,” he explained. Unfortunately for Kodiyakredd, this wasn’t his first run-in with the police, as he was also arrested in May of last year for alleged domestic battery.

At the time, his then-girlfriend alerted authorities after he allegedly pushed her into a pool at a Florida Airbnb. She was later taken to a hospital and treated for injuries to her chin, legs and arms. He denied the allegations, and the charges were later dismissed. Amid Blueface’s stay, Chrisean has been vocal about wanting him to return home. While it doesn’t look like she’ll be getting that anytime soon, she recently got the next best thing. During an Instagram Live today, she revealed that she saw him in court. She broke down in tears while detailing their interaction, explaining how he got a rare opportunity to hold their baby boy, Chrisean Jr.

I could tell she noticed that my son got bigger or something because she looked at us, smiled.” Chrisean went on, recalling Blueface holding Jr. for the first time in months. “She was like, ‘Yeah come on, bring the baby.’ So I walked and gave him the baby, and he was just holding the baby, and I was just like holding him.”

NBA YoungBoy To Remain In Federal Custody While He Awaits Pretrial Release Hearing

NBA YoungBoy looks to be in a whole heap of trouble after his recent arraignment on April 16. As most know, the prolific Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper has been on house arrest in Utah for federal weapons charges and now he is facing even more charges. Those currently include “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.” That was all reported by social media sleuth DJ Akademiks. Now, we have another new update surrounding YB’s legal situation. According to AllHipHop, the 24-year-old Kentrell Gaulden will be kept in federal custody until his pretrial release hearing on April 29.

The “Cache County Sheriff’s Office accused YB and his associates of illegally obtaining promethazine with codeine from pharmacies.” The rapper and the rest of the people involved were allegedly posing as doctors and fake patients to trick pharmacists. The Cache County investigator on the case, Tyson Hyrum Nielsen, sniffed out that the rapper was pretending to be an elderly woman with the alias, Gwendolyn Cox. AllHipHop says that Nielsen called “Cox” and YoungBoy on separate phone calls to decipher that it was indeed one person putting on a disguise.

“During the conversation with ‘Gwendolyn’ it was very clear that a fake voice was being used. ‘Gwendolyn’ sounded as though she was a much younger male from the southern states… Kentrell Gaulden continued to attempt to further the prescription fraud by talking about the prescription and saying, ‘she on the hospital bed,’ referring to the patient ‘Gwendolyn Cox’ from the previous day,” Nielsen said. He even noticed small dialect errors like saying “axe” instead of “ask.”
