Who’s Performing The 2024 NFL Thanksgiving Games Halftime Shows?

It seems like just yesterday, music lovers were breaking a sweat outdoors at their favorite outdoor festival. Now, the Thanksgiving holiday has crept up on us.

As Mariah Carey’sAll I Want For Christmas Is You” and Brenda Lee’sRockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” fight it out on the music charts, families are preparing for a battle of their own. What television programming will hold everyone over until the turkey is served? This year, the National Football League (NFL) is looking to cover all bases as they do head-to-head with the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. So, who’s performing for the 2024 NFL Thanksgiving games halftime shows? Continue below to find out.

Jack Harlow — Packers vs. Lions

Jack Harlow will be there to break up the tension with some lighthearted entertainment as the Green Bay Packers take on the Detroit Lions at home. The game is set to start at 12:30 pm ET. Harlow will surely perform some of his more notable hits, but fans might be in luck as his latest single, “Lovin’ On Me,” just could make the setlist.

Dolly Parton — Commanders vs. Cowboys

The next big game slated to take place on Thanksgiving Day is the Washington Commanders versus the Dallas Cowboys. The Commanders hope to steal a win from the Cowboys on their home field. The match-up will kick off at 4:30 pm ET. For the halftime entertainer, none other than country-music-queen-turned-rocker Dolly Parton will perform a medley of her discography. She may have turned down the Super Bowl Halftime Show several times, but she couldn’t resist the Cowboys’ charm.

Steve Aoki — 49ers vs. Seahawks

The last face-off of the evening will be the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. Kick-off for the showdown in the Seahawks’ backyard is scheduled for 8:20 pm ET. To pump up the jam, Steve Aoki is billed as the halftime performance. Aoki is a wiz with music technology, not such much on the AstroTurf (see his Red Sox and Houston Astros pitch). But, he’s looking to redeem himself in the eyes of sports fans with a few on-field plays of his own.

Taylor Swift Is No. 1, Jack Harlow Has The Biggest Debut, And Tate McRae Lands A Career High On The New Hot 100 Chart

Every Monday, Billboard unveils the top 10 songs on the latest Hot 100 chart. The most recent rankings, for the chart dated November 25, are out now, so let’s run down who had this week’s biggest hits.

10. Morgan Wallen — “Thinkin’ Bout Me”

Wallen has been just an inescapable chart presence lately, as he has not one song in this week’s top 10…

9. Morgan Wallen — “Last Night”

…but two, with “Last Night,” a former No. 1 single, and “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” which previously peaked at No. 7.

8. Tate McRae — “Greedy”

Congratulations are in order for McRae: Rising from No. 11 to No. 8 this week, “Greedy” is her first top-10 single. Her previous best was “You Broke Me First,” which topped out at No. 17.

7. Luke Combs — “Fast Car”

Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” is a song everybody knows and loves, and Combs has helped bring the classic track renewed attention with his massively successful cover, which previously peaked at No. 2 and remains in the top 10 this week.

6. Zach Bryan — “I Remember Everything” Feat. Kacey Musgraves

Bryan and Musgraves’ collaboration continues to dominate across the Billboard chart landscape: It’s No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs charts for a 12th week each and on the Hot Country Songs for an eighth time.

5. Taylor Swift — “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) [From The Vault]”

Swift has had three No. 1 singles since the launch of Midnights in 2022: “Anti-Hero,” “Cruel Summer,” and “Is It Over Now?.” The latter isn’t leading right now, of course, but it’s still showing up strong in the No. 5 spot this week.

4. SZA — “Snooze”

“Snooze” is a dominating force in R&B: Aside from hanging around the top of the Hot 100 for a while, it’s currently No. 1 on the Hot R&B songs chart for a 16th week.

3. Doja Cat — “Paint The Town Red”

Doja’s hit continues to be one of the year’s biggest songs: It’s been on the Hot 100 for a couple months now and even after all this time, it’s still in the top 3.

2. Jack Harlow — “Lovin On Me”

Knocking Taylor Swift out of the No. 1 spot is a big ask, and while Harlow couldn’t quite do it this time, his new single “Lovin On Me” still had a major week as the highest-debuting song on the new chart. The song is the fifth top-10 of his career so far.

1. Taylor Swift — “Cruel Summer”

This is the fifth week at No. 1 for “Cruel Summer,” and it helps move Swift into some historic territory: She’s now spent 34 total weeks at No. 1, which ties her for ninth all time.

Jack Harlow Likes Women With High Body Counts: “She Knows What She’s Doing”

Jack Harlow recently appeared on Mase and Cam’ron’s sports talk show It Is What It Is as the special guest of the hour on Friday (November 17). Moreover, their conversation was wide-ranging and made sure to go over some serious sports discussion and some more fun asides. For example, the Dipset leader asked the Kentucky native about what he desires in a potential partner, or the things that make or break the deal. Eventually, they got to the topic of women with a lot of experience in the bedroom, and how many folks don’t want to be with people with that kind of experience. For the Generation Now artist, though, that’s just a show of knowledge and openness.

“The thing about history is it often indicated a woman knows what she’s doing,” Jack Harlow posited. “So it don’t bother me too much.” Turns out that the “Lovin On Me” artist actually found a kindred spirit in Cam’ron. “That’s how I look at it,” the New York MC replied, and Harlow had some praise for his energy. “You seem like the type,” he told him. “I like that about you.”

Jack Harlow’s Thoughts On Body Count On It Is What It Is: Watch

Furthermore, folks may remember that the conversation around body count had its moment in the headlines earlier this year. Specifically, a lot of conversation emerged around Brittany Renner telling Shannon Sharpe that she’s slept with 35 men, which sparked a lot of debate. Some blasted this practice, whereas others were quick to defend Renner’s life choices and right to speak on her own sex life. One particularly extreme reaction came from Boosie Badazz, who made assumptions about her health.

“That’s kinda not adding up,” he remarked to DJ Vlad earlier this week. “I could’ve believed her but when she said three in one night I had to start multiplying. That’s too many if you finna ask me that, 35. You a h*e. I don’t want no b***h that’s slept with 35 n***as. You’ve at least been burnt seven times.” For more news and the latest updates on Jack Harlow, keep checking in with HNHH.

It feels like Swift will have some sort of chart presence until the end of time, and indeed, this “From The Vault” track is one of the three songs the artist has in this week’s top 10.

TikTok has become a regular hitmaker these days and Mitski is the latest artist to get a boost from the video platform: It’s currently No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart for a fourth week.

2. Jack Harlow — “Lovin On Me”

Following the song’s release last week, Harlow’s “Lovin On Me” is seeing some early success by claiming the silver medal on the newest Spotify chart (it’s the only song to debut in the top 10 this week). There’s more to come, too, as Harlow called the track the beginning of “a new era.”

1. Taylor Swift — “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)”

This is the third week at No. 1 for the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) highlight (and it’s the only song with at least 10 million streams in the US this week). Swift previously noted of the track, “I always saw this song as sort of a sister to ‘Out Of The Woods’ and ‘I Wish You Would.’ I kind of saw those songs as similar, so unfortunately, when we were making these decisions on what to put on 1989 and what to leave behind, I had to make some tough choices.”

Jack Harlow Pays Homage To Another Hit With “Lovin On Me”

Jack Harlow sort of reinvented himself with his previous Jackman. release. He got away from the radio-friendly hits and saw him bust out more thought-provoking cuts. It was an unexpected curveball for the Louisville, Kentucky rapper and it was arguably the best project he has in his discography. Now, he is back and this may make fans groan or rejoice.

“First Class” took the music and social media world by storm. Jack’s twist on Fergie’s “Glamorous” had a lot of people buzzing for good and bad reasons. But, as of today, it sits at over 739 million streams on Spotify. For his comeback, Harlow decided to take this same approach and redo a fan favorite. This time, he tackles Drake and Lil Wayne’s, “The Motto,” with “Lovin On Me.”

Jack has stated plenty of times before that Weezy and Drizzy are some of his biggest influences and that is apparent here. The beat clearly draws right from that hit, as well as Delbert Greer’s 1995 track, “Whatever.” However, the strength of the two rap legends is just all over the song. Even the flows are reminiscent, too. According to Genius, this is the possible lead single to Jack’s fourth album. This could have the makings of another “First Class” radio hit.

What are your initial thoughts on Jack Harlow’s brand-new single, “Lovin On Me?” Do you think he did a better job paying homage to “The Motto,” or “Glamorous?” Are you getting annoyed with rappers recreating classics so often? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Jack Harlow Makes A Charming Reintroduction On His Energetic New Single, ‘Lovin’ On Me’

Jack Harlow has a sexy new bop on his hands. Tonight (November 10), the Louisville rapper, has shared “Lovin’ On Me,” which precedes a new album.

On “Lovin’ On Me,” Harlow delivers his signature cheeky bars, but also steps into his pop bag by showing off his vocal chops.

“I don’t like no whips and chains / Baby, you can’t tie me down / But you can whip your lovin’ on me, baby / Whip your lovin’ on me, baby,” he rap-sings on the song’s chorus.

Back in April, Harlow released his third studio album, Jackman. While the album received acclaim, Harlow was noticeably absent from the radio waves this past summer, despite having charts in a chokehold over the previous few years.

Harlow took to Twitter to explain his hiatus and revealed more new music is on the way.

“Thank u for allowing me to reset this year,” said Harlow. “I moved back to Kentucky and gave u an album I could not have made on the road. Surrounded by family & childhood friends this has been one of the happiest years of my life.”

What Is Jack Harlow And Kentucky Govenor Andy Beshear’s Relationship?

Yesterday (November 7) marked general elections across the country. Many states’ ballots include several critical social causes, such as abortion, the legalization of marijuana, and more.

In Kentucky, sitting Governor Andy Beshear retained his place in high office with a victory over challenger (and former Kentucky Attorney General) Daniel Cameron. Beshear was sure to make mention of hometown hero Jack Harlow during his victory speech last night.

“Tonight, Kentucky made a choice,” he said. “A choice not to move to the right or the left but a choice to move forward for every single family. A choice to reject Team R or Team D and to state clearly that we are one Team Kentucky. A choice of Jack Harlow over Sarah Huckabee Sanders.”

Although his music errs away from the political content, “3D” rapper Jack Harlow found himself tied up in his home state, Kentucky’s heated race for governor. What is Jack Harlow and Kentucky Governor Beshear’s relationship?

Last week, Harlow attended one of Beshear’s campaign stops, seemingly to help appeal to younger voters. In return, Beshear has shared his admiration of the rapper in several instances. This year alone, Beshear gushed about Harlow during the state’s derby in May. Earlier in the day, Harlow took to his Instagram Stories to share a flick of him leaving the voting booth, followed by an image of Beshear.

Jack Harlow Gets Endorsed By New Kentucky Governor, Teases New Single

Jack Harlow has to be one of the most easy-going and likable figures in the hip-hop world. While true aficionados might think he is a bit cheesy, his last record proved quite the opposite. His surprise album Jackman. saw him take a more raw approach dipping his toes closer toward conscious rap. He ditched the bright lights and radio-friendly hits for emotional and more lyrical cuts. While the sales were not there, it was still a great listen and we think it is peaking more interest around Jack.

He seems to be getting ready to ramp up the hype around him once again after a video has been making its rounds. If you check out the Instagram post below, Jack looks to possibly be filming a music video for an upcoming single. What is interesting about this snippet is that it seems to sample Lil Wayne and Drake’s classic from Take Care, “The Motto.” There is no word on a title or when it will be dropping but it sounds like he is going back to the pop rap sound.

On top of this buzz, he is also getting shoutouts from the newly elected Kentucky governor. According to Billboard, Andy Beshear, a Democrat, won the election yesterday. It was a surprise, seeing as the state is usually Republican. In his winning and impassioned speech, he shouted out the Louisville native. “A choice to reject Team R or Team D, and to state clearly that we are one Team Kentucky. A choice of Jack Harlow over Sarah Huckabee Sanders.” Sarah was endorsing the Trump-backed Daniel Cameron which is why Beshear said it this way. Andy and Jack’s relationship dates back to 2022 and they have remained in touch since then.

What are your initial thoughts on Jack Harlow’s upcoming single and getting a shoutout from Governor Andy Beshear? Is the new song going to be a massive hit or a dud? Dua Lipa isn’t the only artist launching their takeover bid for the new year. White Men Can’t Jump star Jack Harlow has entered his hat into the runnings. On Monday, November 6, Harlow took to his official social media pages, including X (formerly Twitter), to tease his new release with a light-hearted video.

“‘Lovin On Me’ out Friday,” read the caption. In the clip, Harlow, dressed in a Wu-Tang graphic t-shirt, appeared to be on a set, dancing along to a snippet of the track as the chorus — “I don’t like no whips and chains, you can’t tie me down / But you can live your lovin’ on me, baby / Live your lovin’ on me, baby” — blares in the background.

Just before the clip ends, Harlow’s line “I’m vanilla, baby” is played.

Fans showed overwhelming support for the upcoming track, with one person writing, “This song gonna have everyone on TikTok in a legit chokehold lol.”

“A few seconds and I’m in love,” wrote another.

“This is a TikTok banger incoming. Jack [is] about to go viral on TikTok,” remarked another.

Harlow recently joined forces with Jung Kook on the track “3D.” In April, Harlow dropped his album, Jackman.

Jack Harlow And Donovan Mitchell Meet Up At Louisville Football Game

The Louisville Cardinals had a big-time showdown with the 10th-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish this past Saturday (October 7). Louisville’s program is having a bit of a resurgence as they were coming into that contest undefeated and ranked as the 25th-best team in the country. They wound up taking down the visitors, 33-20, staying unbeaten at 6-0. It is another monumental win for the school and two of the brightest talents from the state were in attendance. Louisville-born rapper Jack Harlow, and Cardinal alum, Donovan Mitchell, were repping their squad.

Harlow famously rapped about the Louisville Cardinals basketball team on his hit song “WHATS POPPIN.” For Donovan, he was a bit of an unheralded player coming out of college. However, he did help the program reach one NCAA Tournament. Now, he has turned himself into arguably the best shooting guard in the NBA. Also at the game was another Cardinal hooping legend Peyton Siva. He had a more successful tenure there. He made two Final Fours while capturing a title his senior year.
