Murda Beatz Announces His New ‘Summer Anthem,’ ‘No Más,’ Featuring Quavo, J Balvin, Anitta, And Pharrell
As the weather warms up and music fans spend more time outside in the coming months, the prevailing sounds of our playlists look to shift from the chilly, downtempo mood music of autumn and winter to the upbeat, tropical styles that soundtrack poolside shindigs and rooftop day parties. Murda Beatz has announced his contribution to this trend, “No Más,” coming on July 8. The Canadian producer has enlisted his own “summer anthem” Avengers to assist with the vibe-setting, including Anitta, J Balvin, Pharrell, and Quavo.
In addition, the song will be accompanied by a video that follows the crew as they say, “F*ck it, let’s head to Miami,” which is, of course, one of the premier warm-weather destinations and the perfect visual companion to a song with so much Latin flavor. No doubt the new musical direction for the frequent Drake collaborator was at least partially inspired by one of his collaborators in particular; in addition to working on music together, Murda and Anitta recently went Instagram official as romantic partners.
“No Más” is out on 7/8 via Warner Records. Pre-save it here.

SOURCE LATINO: J Balvin Closes Inaugural Sueños Festival in Chicago
Suenos Festival proved over its first weekend that it has the potential to become a Chicago tradition and a premier destination for Latin talent for years to come.
The final day of the first-ever Suenos featured dazzling stars, gorgeous weather, and impeccable moods, with twelve hours of nonstop Latin and Reggaeton music. J Balvin closed up the night with a fantastic performance, making the most of his one and only appearance in the United States in 2022. Wisin Y Yandel, performing as part of their last tour (“La ltima Misión”), brought down the house with hits from their decades-long career. Ascendant superstars like Jhayco and Sech exhibited their talent and musicianship, Fuerza Regida provided regional Mexican flair, budding stars like Lyanno and La Gabi illustrated why they were next up, and Chicago-based DJ Miriam opened the event for her hometown. DJ Fredy Fresco, the official Sueos DJ, spun hits from all eras of Reggaeton between shows, bringing the audience together under the flag of Perreo.
Suenos Music Festival, located in Grant Park in the center of downtown Chicago, is celebrating the success of its inaugural event and looking forward to many more fantastic years in the Windy City, which has one of the largest Hispanic populations in the country.

SOURCE LATINO: J Balvin Delays Postpones ‘Jose’ Tour Due to Production Challenges
J Balvin’s Jose tour is now on hold. The run of dates was set to begin on April 19 in San Antonio, but according to Billboard the show is called off due to “unforeseen production challenges.”
“Throughout the past year, we have been working tirelessly to bring you an exciting and immersive ‘José’ Tour experience where everyone feels welcome to the party,” wrote Balvin on his account. “COVID has caused some unforeseen production challenges, and I wouldn’t be able to keep my promise of giving you the absolute best show possible. Because I believe you deserve that, I’ve made the difficult decisions to reschedule the tour.”
The tour dates are set to be rescheduled in the coming weeks and all tickets will be honored.

J Balvin And Maria Becerra Brought The Heat To The Grammys With Their Performance Of ‘Qué Más Pues?’
J Balvin is on top of the world right now. Just last week, he released two tracks with Ed Sheeran in the thumping “Sigue” and the emotive “Forever My Love,” definitely bringing out the best in Sheeran’s sneaky good Spanish. And while Balvin didn’t win the lone award he was nominated for at the 64th Annual Grammys, he didn’t let that stop him from lighting the Grammys stage on fire. Balvin and Argentine urbano singer Maria Becerra performed their hit, “Qué Más Pues” at the Grammys, before Balvin unleashed another surprise on the audience.

Wrapped in a scarlet red coat, J Balvin opened the tune facing Becerra his confident foil, in a devious dance. She was radiant in her black alligator leather flowy pants, matching top, and elbow-length gloves. For the uninitiated, Becerra is one of the brightest stars in Urbano music and besides being featured on “Qué Más Pues,” she is also set to appear on Camilla Cabello’s upcomoing album, Familía. “Qué Más Pues, is off of J Balvin’s 2021 album, Jose, which was up for the Best Música Urbana Album award, but ultimately lost to Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour Del Mundo.
As the song came to a close, Balvin and his aqua hair with a red heart dyed onto the back of his head, stepped to a second stage and performed his EDM-reggaeton crossover “In Da Getto,” produced by Skrillex. He was accompanied by a full-on army of seated pop-lock dancers and it was as wonderfully over-the-top as you’d expect at the Grammys.
