Drake Fires Back At Rappers Who Dissed Him On New Song “No Face”

Drake is keeping it moving. The dust has barely settled on the rapper’s “100 GIGS” release, and now we have three new songs. A lot of the attention will go to “Supersoak,” the anticipated Lil Yachty leak that no longer features Lil Yachty. That said, “No Face” has the most fascinating bars. Drake and Playboi Carti go back and forth on a hard rage beat. Carti does his thing, per usual. Drake, however, takes the time to call out the rappers who dissed him in 2024. It’s a long list, and the Toronto superstar decides to side swipe them all with a couple lines.

We’ve heard Drake go the detailed route. “Push Ups” and “Family Matters” were instances of him dissing each of his enemies specifically. He found time to poke fun at The Weeknd, Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, and of course, Kendrick Lamar. “No Face” opts for a different approach. The 6 God decides to go vague with it, and hint at what’s to come. “I’m just so happy,” he raps. “That n**gas who envied and held that sh*t in got to finally show it.” The second line, though, is more ominous. “I’m over the moon, yeah, we’ll see you boys soon,” Drake adds. This isn’t the only time on “No Face” the 6 God decides to address what went down between him and the rest of the rap game.

Drake Tells His Enemies That He’ll See Them “Soon”

Much has been made about Drake’s diminishing ability to make hits. The “Drake stimulus package” that ran R&B and hip hop for over a decade has been labeled obsolete. The rapper doesn’t much care for that take. He reminds everyone that he helped people like Ross, Rocky, and The Weeknd blow up. “This is the sh*t that my daddy had raised me on. N**gas got lit off the features I skated on,” he spits. “I gotta know, I gotta know. How you get lit off the n**ga you hatin’ on?” Drake is planning something big, and the bulk of his verse at the something without every revealing what it is.

The rest of Drake’s first verse bears this out. He even makes reference to the advice that people like OVO 40 have been giving him behind closed doors. “40 keep sayin’ it’s time to be patient,” he explains. “It’s so many people we turnin’ the tables on. Capo got plans, but we’ll save that for later on. Hush’ll keep sayin’ they know that they played it wrong.” The 6 God is definitely back on his subliminal game. We’re curious and excited to see where the rest of Drake’s 2024 goes.

Drake Surprise Drops Three New Songs On Instagram

Drake is back. He wasn’t gone that long, but still. The Toronto rapper surprised fans everywhere by dropping three new songs on his Instagram burner account. The songs include the unreleased collab with Playboi Carti, “No Face” and “Circadian Rhythm.” The latter is billed as a sequel to the rapper’s 2013 song “The Language.” The biggest revelation, though, is that Drake finally put out a CDQ version of the highly anticipated song “Supersoak (SOD).” We knew it was coming, we just didn’t realize it was going to be this soon.

Drake previously linked up with Playboi Carti on “Pain 1993.” The vibe for “No Face” is a lot more angry and aggressive than their first collab, though. It definitely sounds more like a Playboi Carti song that just has a Drake feature tacked onto it. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends on how you feel about Carti. “Circadian Rhythm” is going to get the least attention, due to it having no feature or drama attached to it. That being said, it might just be the best song of the batch here. “Circadian Rhythm” has a great groove to it, and feels the most like a throwback Drake song. You’ll be able to tell why he made it a sequel to “The Language.”

Drake Officially Removed Lil Yachty From ‘Supersoak’

“Supersoak” is the big story here, though. Kai Cenat originally previewed the song during a live stream. Lil Yachty was featured on the original version. Yachty then went on the Flagrant podcast and claimed that the song would never be released due to a sample clearance issue. THEN Drake’s people claimed that the song would be coming out officially. Only, Lil Yachty wouldn’t be featured on it. This is what we meant when we previously alluded to “drama.” The Drake and Yachty saga doesn’t even get into Soulja Boy, and umbrage he took with Drake borrowing his “Supersoak” catchphrase. Drake and Soulja are not going to mend their fences, ever, it feels like.

All that said, “Supersoak” is a hit. It’s got a wildly catchy instrumental. It also features a Drake flow that is bound to get stuck in people’s heads. There’s been rumors that the rapper is already shooting a music video for the song, which all but confirms that it’s his next big single. We’ve yet to given information as to what happened between Drake and Lil Yachty. That said, fans can bask in the fact that we finally have the “Supersoak” song. Hopefully they all land on streaming soon.

A$AP Rocky Addresses Bubbling Drake Feud: ‘I Got Bigger Fish to Fry Than Some P***y Boys’

A$AP Rocky performs in Milwaukee

If you ask A$AP Rocky, Drake is a “pussy boy.” In a new feature with Billboard ahead of his forthcoming album, Rocky stated he could care less about feuding with Drake.

“You got to realize, certain n—as was throwing shots for years. I ain’t in the middle of that s–t,” Rocky said. “That’s not how I retaliate right now. I got bigger fish to fry than some p—y boys. It is real beef outside. It is real. N—as getting really clipped and blitzed every day. N—as sniping n—as every day. That little kitty s–t ain’t about nothing.”

Mustard Is Not Interested In Making Music With ‘Strange Guy’ Drake After Producing Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’

Most people make it pretty obvious where they stand in the debate of Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar. Mustard, example, produced Lamar’s chart-topping Drake diss “Not Like Us.” He’s keeping that energy up, too, as he says he has no interest in working with Drake in the future.

In a recent Los Angeles Times interview, Mustard said, “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. He’s a strange guy.”

He also spoke about Drake’s fans, saying, “These guys don’t go to sleep — all they do is tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet. That’s where ‘the Nation of drizzlam’ came from. I said it in a joking manner, but I guess on Twitter it looked like I was mad [laughs]. Drake should use that phrase. I won’t charge him for it.”

Mustard has praise for Lamar, of course, saying, “He’s just a genius. He does the unthinkable every time. And on a human level — just as a normal person — I like his style. […] His whole mystique gives me the same vibes as Prince. Even now [after the success of ‘Not Like Us’], the guy has not posted anything. I told him, ‘I don’t know how you do that sh*t. Me, I’d be like, ‘Yeah, I’m No. 1!””

Mustard Completely Rules Out Working With Drake Following The Kendrick Lamar Beef

If you were hoping for a Drake and Mustard collaboration, we are sorry to break your heart. According to an interview with the Los Angeles Times (via AllHipHop), the California producer is totally ruling that possibility out. It makes sense, as he did concoct the already iconic instrumental for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”. Additionally, his X rant about his low album sales for Faith Of A Mustard Seed was another indicator. He claimed that Drizzy helped Gordo drop his LP (which contained Drake collabs) the same day as his.

“Drake is the Malcolm X of white people 😂”, Mustard began. “And Akademiks make sure you post Gordo’s first week since Drake thought he did a thing with making him drop on the same day as me 😂”. So, yeah, he’s made his feelings pretty clear, but this feature with the outlet shows just how much hate he has inside of him for Drizzy. “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. He’s a strange guy”.

Mustard Is No Longer Messing With Drake

However, that quote is just the tip of the iceberg. When recalling the Pop Out show, he said it felt like everyone was getting rejuvenated. “I was right by the stage looking up at him as he was performing that night, and it was like everybody was getting healed”. Mustard said it had nothing to do with Drake, but all of the previous quotes we listed sort of contradict this one.

What are your thoughts on Mustard ruling out any possibility of working with Drake again? Do you think they will ultimately make up, why or why not? Is the hate for Drizzy going too far, or is it all valid? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Benny the Butcher Releases ‘Buffalo Butch, Vol. 1’ Featuring Fabolous, 38 Spesh, and Drake

Benny the Butcher Releases 'Buffalo Butch, Vol. 1' Featuring Fabolous, 38 Spesh, and Drake

Two weeks after dropping Summertime Butch, Benny returns with Buffalo Butch, Vol. 1, featuring Fabolous, 38 Spesh, and Drake. The Buffalo rapper made it clear that summer wasn’t over until he said so, and now he’s signaling that it’s safe to make plans accordingly.

Buffalo Butch, Vol. 1 is available now on all digital streaming platforms. Alongside the release, Benny also dropped a new visual for “Knightfall” from his Summertime Butch project, continuing to dominate the season with his unmistakable style and presence.

Benny The Butcher Drops Memorable Collabs On “Buffalo Butch, Vol. 1”

Benny the Butcher can spit. He sounds good on pretty much any kind of instrumental. The Griselda star just dropped an album called Summertime Butch. And yes, he managed to pull the ridiculous title off with an emphasis on gritty wordplay and hypnotic production. The trick with Griselda artists is figuring out how to keep their central appeal intact while broadening out. Benny the Butcher figured out a way to do just that on Buffalo Butch, Vol. 1. The answer? Bring in collaborators like Fabolous and Drake to spice things up. To the surprise of no one, the gambit worked.

Buffalo Freestyle,” the long-anticipated collaboration between Benny the Butcher and Drake, lives up to the hype. Both rappers sound immaculate over the contemplative production. Somehow, the beat feels is right in the wheelhouse of both Benny and Drake, despite their otherwise disparate styles. It’s the song that most fans are going to talk about, and rightfully so. The thing is, the other two songs on Buffalo Butch are also great. Fabolous absolutely skates over “Hard Way Freestyle.” The veteran rapper gets in his Soul Tape bag, and it works perfectly when blended with Benny the Butcher’s hard-nosed approach. “Penny and Shaq Freestyle” is the least memorable of the three, but Benny made the competition stiff. This is a great EP.

Benny The Butcher And Drake Are Elite On New Song “Buffalo Freestyle”

Drake has been an admirer of the Griselda wave for years. He have them a shout out during his 2019 interview with Rap Radar. He also linked up with acclaimed Griselda producer Conductor Williams for “8AM In Charlotte,” one of his best songs in years. The fans were itching to see what a legitimate Drake and Griselda collaboration would sound like. “Buffalo Freestyle” delivered. The track has been floating around on social media for a couple days, but the streaming release of the song has made it official. It turns out, Drake and Benny the Butcher are an elite pairing.

The production is as dusty and soulful as one would hope for a Benny the Butcher outing. There’s a vocal sample, and a tempo that screams East Coast. Drake kicks things off with an elongated verse that reeks of the energy he brought to the Scary Hours 3 EP. He sounds hungry, and given the outcome of the Dot battle, he has reason to be. It’s a good pocket for Drake to be in, and he proves that he can still go bar for bar with the best out there. The 6 God has spent the summer dabbling in dancehall and pop tracks, so it is a nice reminder. That being said, Benny the Butcher dominates the track. He’s on his home turf, and he proves that few rappers can compare when it comes to hard-bitten bars. “Buffalo Freestyle” was a long time coming, and it’s worth the wait.

Let us know what you think of this brand-new track, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

First and foremost, Rihanna is not a possession to be won. That said, ASAP Rocky is in a seemingly loving relationship with Rihanna, sharing two children together, while Drake couldn’t stop referencing his virtually ancient relationship with Rihanna on For All The Dogs, his October 2023 full-length album. Of course, Drake took aim at Rocky, too.

Rocky fired back on “Show Of Hands” from Future and Metro Boomin’s We Still Don’t Trust You, which doubled as a Drake diss extravaganza. But that sounds like the extent to which Drake plays on Rocky’s mind.

On Thursday, August 22, Rocky was revealed as the latest Billboard cover star and commented nonchalantly about Drake and all of the beef mounting around him in 2024, spearheaded by Kendrick Lamar.

“You got to realize, certain n****s was throwing shots for years,” the Harlem rapper told the publication. “I ain’t in the middle of that sh*t. That’s not how I retaliate right now. I got bigger fish to fry than some p*ssy boys. It is real beef outside. It is real. N****s getting really clipped and blitzed every day. N****s sniping n****s every day. That little kitty sh*t ain’t about nothing.”

Billboard additionally relayed that Rocky pushed the release date for Don’t Be Dumb, his forthcoming LP, from August 30 to “the fall.”

Nicki Minaj Previews Drake & Juice WRLD Collabs Ahead Of Next “Pink Friday 2” Deluxe

Yesterday, August 20, Nicki Minaj sent out a tweet that had the Barbz truly elated. “PF2 #GagCityReloaded – the album”. Yes, if two expanded editions of Pink Friday 2 weren’t enough for you, a third alternate version is on its way. However, we are currently being left in the dark about when it will release. That remains true today as well, according to AllHipHop. Nicki Minaj hopped on Instagram Live for about 45 minutes late last night with over 4,700 fans tuning in, presumably to hear any sort of extra news.

If that’s true, then the Queens, New York MC certainly fulfilled their wishes. As we said, she wasn’t able to give a drop date, but here are the words straight from the source. “I will be doing a deluxe version of Pink Friday 2. It will be called Pink Friday 2 Gag City Reloaded. It’s going to be out soon. Do I have the exact dates for you? No. Is it coming out this week? No. But it’s coming”. However, that was about the only disappointing part of the whole Live because she would go on to preview several tracks that could be on this deluxe.

Nicki Minaj Gives The Barbz A Taste Of Several Tracks

Some of them included Drake and Juice WRLD collaborations. However, it seems like the former won’t be on Gag City Reloaded as she was playing a version of Camila Cabello’s “HOT UPTOWN” with her on it that didn’t see the light of day. “I’m not on it but the song is out”. Later, Nicki would go on to play two, “Anxiety” and “Mamita”, with the latter having potentially multiple guests. Fans were enjoying the former and it turns out to be one of her favorites as well. “Isn’t that so beautiful”? Finally, for Juice WRLD, she’s really hoping she can get him on it. “It would be incredible for me I think to have Juice WRLD on this album. Because before he passed that’s what we were talking about. He recorded a bunch of stuff when he was in my studio, but I don’t like to exploit people, and people’s deaths and stuff like that”.

“Blonde Hair” was one of the tracks that made its way onto her IG Live. Overall, there’s a lot of excitement around this upcoming deluxe and it seems that there’s a chance for a lot of extra material. What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj sampling these new tracks with Drake and Juice WRLD for Pink Friday 2 (Gag City Reloaded)? Which one is your favorite out of the bunch?
