Brittany Renner Claps Back At People Questioning Her Conversion To Islam

Brittany Renner has responded to fans on social media who have been questioning the sincerity of her conversion to Islam. Taking to TikTok on Monday, she revealed that she hadn’t been genuinely happy for some time and has found guidance through the acceptance of God.

Addressing the question of what made her choose Islam, she said: “I didn’t. I am a human with very little power and awareness but I have learned that God selects who he wills for his mercy. So, let’s start there for those of you who don’t think I’m qualifying. A lot of you claim to know my life story, why I do what I do. Well, then you would know that for quite a while I’ve been suffering. When did you notice that my smile began to look like a strain? And when you noticed, did you reach out? … I have been in search of the truth my whole life, looking for some sort of guidance, in the stars, astrology, numerology, but the truth is, the only guidance is God’s guidance.”

Fans in the comments section shared much more positive responses this time around. “I’m not gonna lie, I wrote this off at first but after listening… I found tears in my eyes and listened twice more,” one user admitted. “Reverts belief is what drives me to find my way back to Islam. I’ve been struggling but this here, is so incredibly powerful.” Another added: “You look beautiful. I can relate to you in some ways. I’m also learning about Islam… I haven’t fully committed. I still have a lot to learn. But learning about the religion gives me peace and happiness. I feel like it is the true religion …”

Brittany Renner has shared another post on social media after wearing what appeared to be a black khimar over the weekend. In an initial post, she discussed receiving “signs” from the universe and remarked: “It’s almost as if we’re waiting for this moment to feel ready — you’re not gonna feel ready for something you’ve never done. That’s why you have to get pushed.”

In a video, she wrote in the caption: “Wardrobe update! I am going to enjoy every moment of this walk of mine” while explaining, “Out with the old, in with the new. [I’m] manifesting a new wardrobe — Inshallah!” She admitted: “I have no idea how this is gonna look. I have contractual obligations– clothes to wear, posts to do, bills that have to be paid.” However, she says she’s trying her best.

When she shared the update on X (formerly Twitter), users in the replies had plenty of mixed reactions. “I’m honestly curious about how this will work out for you because the Muslims I know would not wife a woman with a past like yours,” one user wrote. Another argued: “Changing lifestyles but can’t adhere to the new lifestyle requirements. Even your profile photo isnt to your new lifestyle. Your arms are out and complain about it being hot but the new lifestyle and religion don’t care about that. If you’re going to devote yourself to this lifestyle then FULLY commit to it. Otherwise this is just for attention.” Others did come to her defense. One fan wrote back: “Give her a chance, it’s not easy to take such steps and she has, reach out to support, I suggest some sisters reach out to her and guide her, and see where it goes.”

Lil Durk Faces Criticism For Embracing His Religious Values With A New Chain

Last year, Lil Durk became one of the newest rap artists to embrace Islam, He publicly embraced the religion sharing his journey through social media. It’s a surprisingly common feat among rappers with Durk following in the footsteps of numerous other genre figures who made similar conversions. He’s continuing to publicly embrace his faith though his most recent move is one that left many questioning how deep that faith actually lies.

Pictures of a new chain Lil Durk copped made the rounds earlier this week. It’s a massive star of Islam chain that sports impressive detail in its craftsmanship. But fan criticisms weren’t with the quality of the chain itself, but the fact that Durk got it in the first place. Many rushed to the comments to point out that his music and many of his actions don’t align with the teachings of Islam at all. “In Islam men wearing chains is haram ” one of the top comments on the post reads. “everything he did and does is against religion lmao” another comment agrees. Recently fans have been discussing Lil Durk and India Royale. The pair have been one of the definitive couples in rap for years now but last month there were rumors of a rocky passage. That came when both of them made some tweets that led fans to believe they might be talking about each other. The developments never really went anywhere and it wasn’t much later that Durk was serenading India with some R&B jams. [WATCH] Lil Jon Converts To Islam During Ramadan Holiday

Several reports have confirmed that award winning rapper and producer Lil Jon took his “shahadah” or confession of faith in the religion of Islam, publicly announcing his conversion on Friday at the King Fahad Mosque in Los Angeles.

In front of a large congregation at the L.A. mosque, Jon, whose birth name is Jonathan Smith, recited the shahadah in Arabic and then in English, under the guidance of the mosque’s imam.

Jon becomes the second notable American to embrace Islam during the first week of Ramadan this year, following in the footsteps of writer and political activist Shaun King. Other well known figures such as Clarence Seedorf, Andrew Tate, Kevin Lee, Gervonta Davis, and Thomas Partey have recntly converted to the faith.

Chrisean Rock Enrages Fans After Criticizing Islam & Claiming Palestinians Are At War Because They Don’t Praise Jesus

Chrisean Rock is someone who has angered fans in the past thanks to her actions. Overall, she has caught a lot of flack thanks to her new Blueface tattoo. In fact, she has lost over 400K followers since acquiring it. Subsequently, she has been getting into religion and continues to preach Christianity on her social media. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it seems like she is using her religion to judge other people. For instance, her take on Islam and the Israel-Palestine situation will have you in shock.

Essentially, Chrisean is saying that the people of Palestine are in a conflict because they are not followers of Jesus Christ. “They don’t believe in Jesus,” Chrisean Rock said. “So that’s why it’s happening right there.” She then went on to criticize how Muslims worship and even implied that they are unsanitary people. “I seen videos where they pray at. It’s cockroaches and infested with … so, what is God trying to tell us?” Rock asked. “What is the message being the chaos. Yeah, we know war, the war. But things always happen for a reason and it’s happening.”

She went on to talk about how Muslims pray to Allah and not Jesus. It was all bizarre, and she understandably enraged a lot of people. “That’s where Jesus was born at but it’s like a lot of people over there, they don’t pray to Jesus. They praying to Allah and they saying Jesus just was a prophet. So, I thought it had something to do with that,” the reality star stated. “Here she go….. more religion talk while she not abiding by not a word of it…. Then talking about Muslims… smh,” one person wrote on Live Bitez. “I think she need to worry bout herself here in the U.S.,” said another.

What Chrisean and many others fail to realize is that there are many Christians living in Palestine. Therefore nullifying anything the reality star said. John Gabbana, previously known as Boonk Gang, says that celebrities are converting to Islam because it’s trendy. Gabbana, who converted to Christianity years ago, explained his opinion in a rant on social media, Friday.

“I’m starting to see celebrities convert to Islam like it’s a trend,” he began. “It’s cool to be Muslim now. I’m curious on one thing. What’s drawing y’all to Islam? Do y’all know there’s no miraculous information that Mohammed was even a prophet? He didn’t even write the Koran. Check this out: the Koran was gathered and put together 600 years after the events of Christianity. Now, why would we take a document written 600 years later to tell us what happened to Jesus when we have eyewitness testimonies to tell us what happened to Jesus? It’s called the New Testament. It’s in your Bible. And the Muslim would claim the Bible is corrupt except where it helps their theology. Islam is not the true world religion. Christianity is.”

Gervonta Davis Changes Name After Conversion To Islam

Gervonta Davis has changed his name to Abdul Wahid following his recent conversion to Islam. Directly translated, the name means “Servant [of the] Absolute One” or “Servant [of] Allah”. Wahid converted to Islam last week, formalizing his conversation on December 24. He joins the ranks of a number of high-profile Muslim boxers currently fighting. Devin Haney is also an active follower of Islam.

Wahid said he chose to convert in order to further his personal faith journey. It has been a tough year for the boxer. Earlier in the year, he spent 42 days in jail for his 2021 hit-and-run conviction. Wahid had initially served his sentence under house arrest. However, he was remanded to a jail cell after a judge objected to the conditions of his house arrest. As a result, Wahid hasn’t fought since he defeated Ryan Garcia in April. His next fight is unknown at this time.

Meanwhile, Wahid recently addressed fans clamoring for him to fight two-division undisputed champion Naoya Inoue. “I’m not fighting him. He’s NOWHERE near my weight. [I don’t know] why this page keep posting sh-t like this,” Wahid said in response to a fan-made poster hyping a fight between the pair. Nicknamed “The Monster”, Inoue has made a name for himself as a generational talent at the bantamweight and super-bantamweight divisions. He is currently 26-0 after unifying the super-bantamweight title in a fight against Marlon Tapales.

However, Waid currently fights at a minimum of lightweight, two divisions higher than super-bantamweight. That would mean a massive jump for Inoue to make to be on the same weight level as Wahid. Video footage of Davis taking his Shahadah has surfaced while criticism has already been given to the boxer for the Islamic name he has now chosen for himself.

Just as famous Muslim converts Muhammad Ali and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar chose new names along with their new religion, Davis has chosen the name Abdul Wahid, which means “slave to The One”. Imam Hasan Somali disclosed Davis’s Muslim name, explaining, “The attribute that he chose, the name that he chose as a Muslim, is Abdul Wahid. It means the servant of the One, from the names of Allah, the name of God, which is Al Wahid.”

It is not confirmed if he will continue to fight under the name Davis or his newly received name. Other athletes such as Kyrie Irving and Mike Tyson continued to use their given names in public after their conversion to the most practiced religion on the planet.

NLE Choppa Officially Converts To Islam

Converting to Islam is something that rappers have been doing on and off for a long time recently. It’s nothing new to see even modern rappers getting in touch with their faith. Earlier this year Lil Durk shared some pictures to Instagram where he did just that. Recently, Finesse2Tymes expressed his interest in converting to Islam when he finished his new album. And now, NLE Choppa is joining them and all the rappers that came before them.

A new video of Choppa officially converting made its way online earlier this week. While it’s unclear when exactly the video is from, this is the first most fans had heard of his official conversion. Though the clip is short it seems to confirm Choppa’s commitment to the decision. In the comments of multiple reposts of the video online fans give him credit for the move. NLE Choppa Converting To Islam

Earlier this year, NLE Choppa released his new album Cottonwood 2. It was a follow-up to his 2020 studio album From Light To Dark and Choppa has absolutely made the most of the new project. He’s released a variety of different versions of the project including a deluxe edition, an instrumental version, a slowed-down version, and a sped-up version. The newest edition of the album is a Deluxe 2.0 edition which adds even more tracks. The grand total of material on the newest version of the project is a full 40 songs that runs more than 2 hours.

Last month, Choppa was at the center of one of the strangest viral rap stories of the year. His mother had to take to social media to ask is anybody knew where he was as he had disappeared.
