West has been open about his dedication to the Christian faith for years. In 2019, he released the gospel album, Jesus Is King. Around the same time, he also hosted a weekly “Sunday Service” orchestration. Speaking with Vogue after the release of the project, West discussed how his infamous ego conflicts with his faith. “I thought I had it all figured out. [God has changed] everything, my ego… God put it all together. I’ll tell you what, when I don’t apply grace, I don’t get the results I’m looking for. Everything must be done with grace. That’s one of the things I pray for—and I need to pray for more,” he said. He added: “A lot of times, people try to point out the flaws of people who are Christian. But always remember, Christians are not Christ. We fall short. We all fall short of the glory.”

Boosie BadAzz called out Lil Nas X on Twitter, Friday, for the rapper’s controversial new single, “J Christ.” In doing so, Boosie labeled the music video for the song “disrespectful.” The piece features various biblical scenes including a crucifixion and more. At one point, Nas crosses up Satan on a basketball court.

“THIS ‘Whatever’ IS SO DISRESPECTFUL ITS SAD SMH,” Boosie captioned the post. Nas previously addressed the backlash to his Chirstian turn in a post on social media in November. “Y’all see everything i do as a gimmick,” he wrote at the time. “When in reality im just an artist expressing myself in different ways. whether im a cowboy, gay, satanic, or now christian y’all find a problem! y’all don’t police nobody else art like mine. y’all hate me because im fun cute and petite.”

Kai Cenat Slams Lil Nas X Amid “Christian Era” Controversy

In recent weeks, Lil Nas X has decided to dive headfirst into his “Christian era,” teasing a new single called “J Christ,” using religious imagery, and more. He first announced that he was “returning to God” earlier this month, claiming that the music industry made him “satanic.” As expected, this has earned the Georgia-born performer quite a bit of backlash, as he’s previously been known to lean into satanic themes with his hit “Montero” and, of course, his human blood-filled “Satan” shoes.

Amid this latest phase of his career, critics have argued that he’s mocking Christianity with his upcoming music and social media posts. According to him, however, that couldn’t be further from the truth. He took to social media earlier this week to clap back, noting how he has a new gospel album in the works. “I like how the world decided I am mocking, when I literally have been working on a gospel album?? Like be fr,” he wrote on Instagram. Regardless, he continues to get pushback, most recently from 22-year-old streamer Kai Cenat.

Kai Cenat Tells Lil Nas X “God Gonna Handle You”

During a recent stream, Kai Cenat tore into Lil Nas X, making it clear that he doesn’t approve of the unexpected pivot. “No, f*ck that. Lil Nas X you can eat my whole d*ck,” he shouts in a clip. “I hate that n***a, bro.” He went on, claiming that the hitmaker is “mocking” God and religion with his latest project. “God gonna handle you,” he continued. “He’s extremely disrespectful, bro… He disrespects God himself.”

What do you think of Kai Cenat’s recent comments on Lil Nas X? Do you agree with him, or is he overreacting? John Gabbana Says “It’s Cool To Be Muslim Now”

John Gabbana, previously known as Boonk Gang, says that celebrities are converting to Islam because it’s trendy. Gabbana, who converted to Christianity years ago, explained his opinion in a rant on social media, Friday.

“I’m starting to see celebrities convert to Islam like it’s a trend,” he began. “It’s cool to be Muslim now. I’m curious on one thing. What’s drawing y’all to Islam? Do y’all know there’s no miraculous information that Mohammed was even a prophet? He didn’t even write the Koran. Check this out: the Koran was gathered and put together 600 years after the events of Christianity. Now, why would we take a document written 600 years later to tell us what happened to Jesus when we have eyewitness testimonies to tell us what happened to Jesus? It’s called the New Testament. It’s in your Bible. And the Muslim would claim the Bible is corrupt except where it helps their theology. Islam is not the true world religion. Christianity is.”

Daddy Yankee Dedicates His Life To Christianity Amid Retirement From Music

Earlier this week, Daddy Yankee brought his farewell tour to Puerto Rico, announcing that as he retires from music he plans to dedicate his life to Christianity. He shared a clip from his performance on Instagram along with a lengthy message about the transition, calling it the beginning of a new chapter.

“Family: This day for me, is the most important day in my life,” he began. “Tonight I recognize and am not ashamed to tell the whole world that Christ lives in me and that I will live for him. This is the end of one chapter and the beginning of a brand new one. He continued, also quoting the New Testament. “For what good is it for a man to gain the whole world, if he loses his life?” he wrote. “Or how much can a man pay for his life? JiDion Announces He’s Quitting His Prank Channel To Start One Focused On Religion

Veteran YouTube prankster JiDion has announced that he is shutting down the “JiDion” channel. In its place, he will start “GiDion”, a religion-based channel on which JiDion will explore his Christianity. “What are you going to be doing with the channel? And, the answer is nothing. This is going to be my last channel [sic] on JiDion man. Like, I truly feel like there’s nothing else for me to do except do the will of God and point people in the right direction. To follow Jesus and get people to pick up their Bibles, and read about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ” I just want to dive all the way into the deep end of the pool and truly give my all into serving Jesus Christ and to helping you guys find him the best way I possibly can,” the YouTuber said in his farewell video.

Meanwhile, the “About Me” section of his “GiDion” channel reads “Welcome to GiDeon, I believe EVERYTHING the Bible says and my mission is to get people to turn back to The Most High God and truly follow Jesus. I pray one of the videos touches your heart and leads you to God!!!”. However, his followers remain unconvinced as to whether this is sincere or whether JiDion is just playing a really long prank.

JiDion Seemingly Catches EDP445 In Another Predator Sting

JiDion is known for his prank videos. He was recently banned by the WNBA after he did a “sleeping at a WNBA game” video. However, some of his content in recent months has much more serious. Last month, JiDion allegedly caught notorious internet predator EDP445 in another Chris Hansen-esque sting. Furthermore, for those unfamiliar, EDP445, a moderately-sized Philadelphia Eagles creator, was caught in a sting a few years ago after exchanging sexual text messages with who he believed was a 13-year-old girl.

While the original EDP445 scandal ended with the YouTuber getting away scot-free due to the case being mishandled, it doesn’t appear that he learned his lesson. In a brief snippet for a video that remains unreleased, JiDion is seen wearing a cupcake costume and confronting EDP. It appears that they managed to catch him exchanging more messages with fictional underage ploys.

Lil Uzi Vert Compares Christianity To A Cult

Lil Uzi Vert is an artist who has consistently been criticized for their various references to the occult. Overall, the satanic panic that is currently going around has been humorous to watch. Some people really believe that Uzi is conjuring up the devil by wearing upside-down crosses. It is all very silly, and it truly feels like we are back in the 90s when parents were upset with Marilyn Manson. However, Uzi continues to provoke people, and it has ultimately led to the current discourse.

In a recent interview with GQ, Lil Uzi Vert got to speak on a whole host of different topics. For instance, they talked about the influence of Young Thug, their conversations with Nicki Minaj, as well as being inspired by Chance The Rapper. Moreover, Uzi got to speak on all of the controversy surrounding their supposed satanism. As you can imagine, they find this all very amusing. Additionally, they said that every religion is a cult in one way or another. It’s just that some are more accepted than others.

“Do these people think me being Satanic is what helps my success?” they said. “Or that I’m trying to force people into the occult? Any type of religion is some type of a cult. Being Christian is a cult. You all meet at a place to pray and worship.” It’s a solid point, although there are plenty of people who would take large issue with this kind of characterization.

Author Eric Metaxas Tells Weed-Smokers They “Smell Like Failure”

Eric Metaxas, a Christian author and radio host, faced severe trolling on Twitter this week. A few days ago, he took to the social media platform to recount an awkward encounter he had experienced. According to his story, he was jogging through Central Park when he spotted four minors smoking weed. Without hesitation, he yelled out to them, “Smells like failure!” However, his self-congratulatory and embarrassing story did not go well with Twitter users, who criticized him for his alleged racism.

As he claimed the incident occurred in the mostly Black neighborhood of Harlem, some people believed that Metaxas’ actions stemmed from bigotry. Following the incident, Justice reform activists, social commentators, and others participated in the roast session and hurled many insults such as “nerd,” “narc,” and “total tool” at Metaxas. Despite the backlash, Metaxas has yet to respond to the trolling directly. However, he did share a link to a Telegraph article that explored the alleged connection between weed use and schizophrenia.

Changing The Conversation Around Weed

Late last year, President Joe Biden announced his plan to pardon all federal marijuana offenses. This was a huge step in the right direction for the US. The government has long been criticized for criminalizing weed to the extent that it has. “No one should be in jail just for using or possessing marijuana,” Biden said at the time. Many people praised the move, but Eric Metaxas obviously disagreed. Moreover, the Biden administration went as far as to acknowledge the disparate rates at which black and brown individuals are affected by the criminalization of marijuana.

“Criminal records for marijuana possession have led to needless barriers to employment, housing, and educational opportunities. And that’s before you address the racial disparities around who suffers the consequences,” the president said in the announcement. “While white and Black and brown people use marijuana at similar rates, Black and brown people are arrested, prosecuted, and convicted at disproportionate rates.” Again, while this is a step in the right direction, the conversation around weed clearly hasn’t changed for many. Like Metaxas, many others still see marijuana as something dangerous that should be illegal. What do you think of the tweet? Let us know in the comments below.
