Nick Cannon Reveals How He Decides Which Home To Sleep In

Very few things are certain in this life: death, taxes, and Nick Cannon managing his time among his children and baby mamas. Moreover, the media star has 12 children with six different partners, and as much as that’s great headline fodder, he loves having a big family and showing them all love. Also, many of his baby mamas have defended him amid claims that he’s not as present in his kids’ lives as he should be. However, that wide net comes with some tough choices to make. One of those is how Cannon decides what bed he’s going to sleep in on a given night, which he revealed to The Los Angeles Times.

From what he remarked, apparently his sleeping arrangements are contingent on who he spoke to that day. “A lot of times it’s whichever of them has called me that day, to be honest,” Nick Cannon told the publication. “I am such a creature of habit. I like who like me.” In addition, he clarified that he keeps clothes at each of his baby mamas’ houses in the conversation, published Sunday (May 7).

Nick Cannon Uses This Metric To Decide Where He’ll Sleep

In that same interview, the “Wild ‘N Out” host said that he makes $100 million a year, which is an insane metric. Still, he also spoke briefly on some of the “downsides” to his busy lifestyle, and that of his partners. “Because everybody’s so busy, nobody’s looking to have sex with me,” the 42-year-old revealed. “Everybody’s focus is the children.” Of course, many will joke that Nick Cannon doesn’t need to spread his seed any further, but at least he’s owning up to their priorities. After all, he could be much more nonchalant than this when it comes to caring for and discussing his children and romantic partnerships.

Meanwhile, there is one relationship where he proceeds with extra caution: Mariah Carey. “She’s high frequency, man,” he expressed to Jason Lee. “She always like- she asks me all the time, like, ‘You alright? How you doin’? You handling it all.’ She’s like, ‘As long as you don’t bring none of that bulls**t over to the Manor of Carey.’ She lives in her own world. Nothing can infiltrate that. So, when we talk daily, she’s just checking on my spirit.” For more updates and the latest news on Nick Cannon, log back into HNHH.

The Weeknd Has A Theory About Losing His Voice

Within the past decade, The Weeknd has become one of the most sought-after voices in Pop and R&B. He has collected 4 Grammys and even headlined the 2021 Superbowl, which is something that isn’t easily achieved by artists. Within recent years, fans have noticed his few times losing his voice on stage while performing. This week, in The Weeknd’s latest interview with W Magazine, he revealed what he believed an acting role caused him to suddenly lose his voice.

The Weeknd is far from being known to cross over in a genre. This time, he is set to star in the upcoming drama lead HBO show The Idol. Additionally, he sat alongside his costar Lilly Rose-Depp as they shared some of the challenges they faced becoming their characters. The Weeknd shared how his role as Tedro lead him to an internal identity crisis.“I had to take off the Weeknd outfit, put on Tedros’s wig, shoot with Jocelyn, then go back to being The Weeknd,” he said. “It was tough to go from one head to another,” he added. He found himself carrying his character’s inability to sing subconsciously on stage. The Weekend Shared that he believed this caused him to lose his voice in a recent performance.

He also describes how he feels he is on a new path. “I’m going through a cathartic path right now,” he said. “It’s getting to a place and a time where I’m getting ready to close the Weeknd chapter,” he added. Additionally, he shared he may still make music as Abel, his birth name. However, he is looking to “kill” his long-term moniker, The Weeknd, very soon. Drake Helped Pi’erre Bourne Get His Passport

On the musical side of things, despite their close touring and personal relationship, Drake and Pi’erre Bourne haven’t collaborated much. Moreover, the first thing that fans might think of is the couple of the rapper-producer’s tracks that Drizzy was going to be on that never came to be. Also, there’s the Pi’erre-produced “Pain 1993” featuring Playboi Carti on the OVO mogul’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes project. However, they still look out for each other, and the Kansas-born artist joined the Canadian superstar on the “Boy Meets World” tour in Australia and New Zealand back in 2017. Not only that, but Drake actually helped him get his passport.

“With Drake, when we was on tour, that was cool,” Pi’erre Bourne remarked during an interview at Coachella this year. “‘Boy Meets World’ tour, that was awesome. We went to Australia and New Zealand. So he actually showed me the world early on, fresh off the couch, my friend’s couch. He got me my passport, like, Drake helped me get my passport again so, yeah.” Some friends don’t just pay for your flight; they can help you take one anywhere, too.

Pi’erre Bourne Recalls Touring With Drake

What’s more is that Pi’erre Bourne is far from the only rapper to have received help from the 6 God. French Montana recently shouted him out for helping him produce his documentary. “Shout out to Drake for helping me do it,” he remarked. “Shout out to Puff. Shout out to Max B for letting them cameras come inside that maximum security prison and helping me document it. Shout out to my mother. She never been on nothing. That was her first one and it just shows that me, her and my father came here not even speaking English and it shows that your temporary moment doesn’t have nothing to do with your long-term.”

Meanwhile, the “IG” MC and beatsmith has been on plenty of tours since “Boy Meets World.” In fact, he has a few upcoming dates in May playing in Houston, New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. If you’re interested in hearing his woozy stylings in person, check out dates and tickets here. Also, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake and Pi’erre Bourne.

Chris Pratt Compares Himself To Jesus

Chris Pratt was asked about the negative criticism he has received over the years, including being labeled the “Worst Chris” and being accused of belonging to an anti-LGBTQ church. Although he has also faced backlash for his role as Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Pratt claims that he isn’t bothered by it. During a special New York screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Pratt was asked if he feels that he is attacked because of his Christian faith.

He acknowledged that he does receive criticism, but stated that it’s not new and even quoted a biblical reference to support his point. He drew a comparison to Jesus, who was also not accepted during his time. “If I was of this world, they would love me just like that but as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20,” he said, quoting the Bible. “That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him, too.”

How Chris Pratt Became The “Worst Chris”

In an old meme, Chris Pratt was labeled the least desirable “Chris” in Hollywood due to his past controversies. These include his support of President Donald Trump, his association with right-wing commentator Ben Shapiro, and his religious beliefs. Following the meme that circulated online, some of Pratt’s celebrity friends and co-stars spoke up in his defense. They argued that the meme was hurtful and that Pratt is a good person who has done many positive things throughout his career. Despite this support, the controversy surrounding Pratt’s personal beliefs and associations continues to be a topic of discussion and debate within the entertainment industry.

One of the biggest accusations leveraged against Chris Pratt was his supposed membership at Hillsong Church. The church, which many celebrities attend, is somewhat infamously anti-LGBTQ. However, in June 2022, Chris Pratt denied attending the church. While it is true that he doesn’t attend Hillsong, Pratt does attend a Hillsong-adjacent church. He goes to Zoe Church, which has strong connections to Hillsong. It was reportedly even modeled after Hillsong, although Chris Pratt says that they open their doors to everyone. What do you think of Chris Pratt’s designation as the “worst Chris”? Let us know in the comments!

The Weeknd Reportedly Working On His Final Album

The Weeknd might be finished making music… sort of. Next month, HBO will premiere The Idol, a new drama starring the singer. Ahead of the premiere, Abel has been making the rounds to promote the show. In an interview with W Magazine, he provided some pretty interesting information. For fans, it may be pretty upsetting. He hinted that his foray into film and television coincides with what he considers the end of his music career, at least in some aspect.

In the interview, Abel opened up about where his head is in terms of creativity. Having done so much under his moniker as The Weeknd, he feels he is ready for a new path. “I’m going through a cathartic path right now. It’s getting to a place and a time where I’m getting ready to close the Weeknd chapter,” he says. “I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn.”

Abel Never Thought He Had The Look For R&B

The Weeknd is a globally renowned artist and has been for quite some time. He has long been known for creating some of the most dark and sensual music. His recent collaboration with Future in the song “Double Fantasy” is a perfect example of this. It may be difficult to imagine a time when Abel doubted his ability to fit into the R&B genre due to his looks. However, in a recent interview with Interview Magazine, he opened up about how he used to believe he didn’t fit the traditional mold of what an R&B artist was supposed to look like.

The Weeknd explained that he wanted to be deliberate in how he presented himself and his music. When he was younger, he believed that he wasn’t marketable, particularly for R&B, because he didn’t think he had the appropriate appearance. The Weeknd elaborated on how the conventional R&B look was very sexual. Although there were exceptions, he personally didn’t feel like he fit the mold. He wanted an unbiased response to his music, which was important to him. As such, he took a very mysterious approach to the look and feel of the music under the Weeknd moniker. What do you think of Abel’s suggestion that his next album as The Weeknd is the last? Let us know in the comments!

Robin Thicke Speaks On His Connection To Hip-Hop On Drink Champs

Drink Champs usually makes headlines for their hip-hop conversations, but the program’s most recent guest is one of the biggest blue-eyed soul stars of the last 20 years. Moreover, Robin Thicke recently graced the Drink Champs studio, speaking on his many industry connections, wild stories, and long-lasting career. While many might know him best nowadays for “Blurred Lines,” his laundry list of experience is much more extensive than that hit might suggest. In fact, during his conversation with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, he recalled signing to one of his collaborators on the track, Pharrell. However, one of his more illuminating comments came when discussing his many Lil Wayne collabs, where he spoke on his relationship to hip-hop.

Well, that was more based off of association, as we saw the “Masked Singer” judge talk about that experience through the lens of his Weezy collabs. Specifically, N.O.R.E. asked him how his hip-hop link-ups always felt natural, and how they even came about. “We were genuine fans of each other before we blew,” Robin Thicke recalled. “Like, when I heard ‘Go DJ’- I mean, you know, he was already blowing up. But when I heard ‘Go DJ,’ I was like, ‘This is the next biggest artist, period.

Robin Thicke On Drink Champs

“I told Andre Harrell, and he was like, ‘You think so?’” he continued. “I was like, ‘Trust me, Dre, this is the one.’ So, coincidentally, he just reached out to me. The first song on my debut album A Beautiful World– which it’s the 20th anniversary of- he heard this song called ‘Oh Shooter’ on my debut album. He just hit me up out of nowhere and was like ‘Yo, I love this record. Can you send me the tracks? Do you mind if I do something with it?’” That Tunechi remix landed on Tha Carter II.

“The first time that Lil Wayne ever did The Tonight Show– and the first time I ever did The Tonight Show– we did it together,” he added. “The first time either one of us performed at the Grammys, we performed together. So him and I have a real history together.” Despite his controversies, it’s clear that the appreciation for hip-hop goes both ways. Elsewhere in the interview, he talks about signing with Pharrell, his family’s industry experience, and much more. Check out the full Drink Champs episode above and return to HNHH for the latest on Robin Thicke.

Kevin Hart Gives Ice Cube His Flowers

Kevin Hart was the most recent guest on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, and it of course ensued with some hilarity. However, the actor put the jokes slightly aside for a second to talk about rapper, actor, and multi-hyphenate pop culture icon Ice Cube and their relationship. Moreover, Hart expressed a lot of admiration for the West Coast legend, which actually had nothing to do with his accolades and industry experience. Instead, he chose to focus on his good-natured spirit and his on-set professionalism. Overall, it seems like the Ride Along co-stars are quite the dynamic duo, even if Cube apparently didn’t return the sentiment.

“Cube might be one of the most genuine, kindest spirits that you can be around,” Kevin Hart said of Ice Cube. “He wants nothing but good for other people. He loves to see the people around him succeed- he’s such a creative mind. That’s all he does. He loves the foundation of creativity and is one of the most professional people I’ve worked with on set.” Still, the podcast hosts joked that the N.W.A. pioneer might not be rocking with him in the same way.

Kevin Hart Praises Ice Cube On Impaulsive

“He did not talk about you like that,” they told Kevin Hart. “It was the complete opposite.” Despite the pushback, the comedian did not let that take away from his testimony or from their close ties. “Yeah, it’s gotta be the interview,” he theorized, saying that they must not have been “good” questions if they led Ice Cube down that path. In addition, the podcasters asked Hart whether his evolving friendship with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson somehow affected his relationship with the “Check Yo Self” rapper.

“This is ridiculous,” Hart laughed off. “What are you talking about? Cube is one of my best friends in the business- everybody knows that. Everybody knows that about me and Cube.” Meanwhile, another rap star in the Night School actor’s corner is Method Man, who he recently interviewed. They actually spoke at length on mental health, particularly Mef’s, in what came out to be an enlightening conversation. For more news on Kevin Hart and the latest updates on Ice Cube, stay posted on HNHH.

Lil Reese Explains The Difference Between Him & 6ix9ine Getting Jumped

During a recent interview, Lil Reese broke down what makes his incident of getting jumped way different than 6ix9ine’s. While the rainbow-haired provocateur is dropping a lot of new music as of late, the shadow of that attack still looms over his current pop culture presence. Moreover, it’s a news story that people keep talking about and commenting on, whether within or outside of the industry. As such, the Chicago MC explained that there’s a difference between each case, which is made more ironic by the fact that the New York rapper made fun of Reese for getting jumped back in the day.

“S**t, I was like ‘Damn,’ ’cause he was making fun of me when I got jumped,” Lil Reese remarked of 6ix9ine’s beatdown. “But I ain’t get jumped like how he got jumped. I got jumped on some… N***as was scared to fight me one-on-one. Grabbin’ me, trying to stop me from going to the car to go get my move. He got whooped. Like, his a** got beat bad, so he got jumped jumped. I ain’t get jumped. N***as was stopping me, holding on me, grabbing on me from going to go grab something for their a**.”

Lil Reese Speaks On 6ix9ine Attack

Of course, the beef between these two persists, even though Lil Reese held back on more disrespectful views on 6ix9ine’s assault. “I love going to, you know, restaurants and not have to say, ‘Oh, I’ll wait for the security team,’” the “WAPAE” artist stated. “I’ll just go do it. For me, it was tough to watch because it was so unexpected… It’s cowardly. I think it was cowardly, I think it was opportunistic. But again, I’m not mad because I know that, in the streets, there’s no rules. I’m lost for words because you can’t blame them. They saw an opportunity and they took it.

“I think life just keeps going,” he added. “I can capitalize off of anything. I’m that talented, I don’t need to get beat up to sell a record.” However you may feel about the different situations, it’s clear that both artists won’t let it define them. For more news and updates on 6ix9ine and Lil Reese, stick around on HNHH.

Cassidy Shares Thoughts On R. Kelly’s Sex Crimes

Cassidy just came through with some not-so-criticial statements on the sex crimes and musical legacy of R. Kelly. Moreover, the two collaborated on the 2003 track “Hotel,” which came out a year after abuse allegations against him started to surface. Not only that, but it was around the time that his sex tape with an underage girl was also under heavy discussion and unfortunate dissemination in pop culture. In an interview with RealLyfe Productions, the rapper addressed these crimes and convictions while making reference to R. Kelly’s musical legacy. In his mind, there’s a clear distinction between the two, yet his comments on his abuse seemed to brush it aside.

“I probably wasn’t aware of it that time,” Cassidy stated regarding the tape and his accusations. “It probably came to my attention later. And I wasn’t sure about it. At that time it was weird. I was a superfan of R. Kelly, and this was my first album, my first single. So to be working with somebody of that magnitude, your first go-round… For me to be trying to argue that about some tape that I don’t even know… I wasn’t doing no research and digging deep at that time ’cause I ain’t the law.

Cassidy Speaks On R. Kelly

“I don’t got no problem with n***as being mad at R. Kelly,” the 40-year-old continued. “If that’s how y’all feel, if y’all feel like what he did actually makes you mad at heart, cool. But be mad at heart at anybody that’s in that bag. There’s a bunch a n***as, not even famous n***as like R. Kelly, just in my neighborhood alone… These industry n***as [are] worse. These n***as are crazy… So now I can do no records then.

“I ain’t here to point the finger at R. Kelly and these n***as,” Cassidy concluded. “That ain’t my job. I just respect the n***a’s music.” The R&B singer now faces thirty years in prison for his various sex crimes. While many still advocate for and respect his music, context becomes almost too overpowering in most cases. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on R. Kelly and Cassidy.

Will.I.Am. Wants To Protect His “Face Math” From A.I.

On May 5th, Will.i.am, the founder of the Black Eyed Peas, joined a growing list of hip-hop celebrities who have expressed concerns about the impact of artificial intelligence (A.I.). During an appearance on Sirius XM, he engaged in a lengthy discussion with DJ Whoo Kid and his co-hosts, Mack and Jen. They spoke about the effects of A.I. on society and the arts. His views were similar to those expressed by other artists about the future of art. It seems uncertain in a world dominated by A.I.

When asked about his thoughts on whether artists should be worried about A.I., Will.i.am responded by stating that it is a legitimate concern. He went on to express his desire to safeguard his face from the potential threats posed by the technology, saying, “I am my face math, I don’t own that. I own the rights to ‘I Got A Feeling,’ but I don’t own the rights to my face or my voice? There are new laws and industries about to boof.”

A.I. And The Future Of Music

Will.i.am is far from the only artist that has criticized A.I. Drake has been in the headlines a lot recently for the same reason. The rapper has been involuntarily involved in the new wave of A.I. music that has begun to saturate social platforms. From funny covers to nonexistent collaborations, A.I. creators are taking the concept and running with it. Drake isn’t too happy about it either. In fact, he called an A.I.-generated cover of Ice Spice’s “Munch (Feeling You)” the final straw. It’s not clear where to draw the line when it comes to A.I. “art.” Some musicians have even given people the go-ahead to use their voices as they choose.

Universal Music Group has urged streaming platforms to remove content created by artificial intelligence (A.I.), and many other artists, including Drake, have criticized this practice. This raises several issues, from copyright problems to human rights violations. If a creator can use an artist’s likeness or voice with no consequences, what implications does that have? Other musicians share Drake’s concern about this issue, and it seems that the problem is only getting worse. More and more websites are emerging that enable users to use a rapper or singer’s voice to create a new song. What do you think about A.I. in music? Let us know in the comments!
