Lil Yachty & KARRAHBOOO Won’t Stop Trading Shots On Social Media

The Concrete Boys collective is going through a pretty nasty crash-out right now thanks to group members Lil Yachty and KARRAHBOOO. What started as the latter’s sudden exit from the group under seemingly neutral circumstances devolved into both rappers accusing each other of toxic behavior. While this impacts the group as a whole, it really seems to be a battle between these two players alone at press time. Hopefully it resolves and things don’t spiral out even further. But it seems like they won’t reconcile anytime soon, as they’re still going back and forth at each other after the Let’s Start Here. artist wrote the following on his Instagram Story recently: “don’t throw rocks and hide your hand.”

“i’ll never forget this feeling,” KARRAHBOOO responded to Lil Yachty via an IG Story rant. “This chapter of my life, i’ll never be the same, i’ll never forget who wasn’t there for me. I done chomped people out/spent my last/slapped folks 4 n***as, i ride every time naturally but that’s just how i am. Nobody owe me s**t tbh im just taking a mental note.

KARRAHBOOO Once Again Claps Back At Lil Yachty

“i can’t even look at most people da same way, to know the truth and watch a grown man with 12 million followers overly lie on my name and publicly bully me for literally no reason at all while i silently been conquering all da s**t n***as been throwing at me this whole time behind close doors,” KARRAHBOOO’s rant continued. “ill never ignore the signs again and i will never stop no matter how much they hate me.

“i never threw rocks and u have my number u big grown b^itch leave me alone literally @lilyachty,” she concluded. “i never said nothing about s**t and i still ain’t said nothing bout what’s really going on. i don’t want no beef wit you industry people. just move on wit ur life stop tryna bring me down when i stay out the way. im done talking u got it yo character gone speak for itself.” Hopefully Lil Yachty and KARRAHBOOO settle this in private and move on with their careers without this headache.

NBA YoungBoy is currently dealing with at least a couple of pretty tough legal situations, but folks think he’s actually doing very well. Moreover, you may have heard that authorities hit him with another gun charge amid his guilty plea for a similar case, adding onto his struggles. However, various media outlets and commentators alleged a pretty big flip-side to the Baton Rouge rapper’s woes: he apparently made a hundred million dollars while on house arrest in 2023. While these numbers don’t have a full and unquestionable confirmation, DJ Akademiks became the most recent figure to claim these rumors are true and even explained why.

“When you’ve made a hundred million dollars – and yes, it is reported that NBA YoungBoy made a hundred million dollars in 2023,” DJ Akademiks began. “Now, I don’t know if y’all know this. But he made a hundred. Million. Dollars. I can tell you how it kind of breaks down. He sold part of his catalog, the small part he owned from Atlantic. He signed to… What was it, like, between a 40 or 60 million dollar deal with Capitol, and he did some other deal. Basically, it was a hundred million dollars. And trust me, yeah, it was a hundred. When a n***a make a hundred million dollars, house arrest… What y’all think house arrest looks like for a hundred million dollar n***a? Huh? Let me ask y’all. I won’t say nothing.”

DJ Akademiks Reinforces Reports About NBA YoungBoy’s 2023 House Arrest Earnings

Uncle Luke dishes out hot takes on the current rap landscape every once in a while, but don’t forget that he’s one of hip-hop’s pioneers. Moreover, his work with 2 Live Crew influenced multiple generations of the art form with its lewd and explicit content, even setting legal precedents for lyrical standards and freedom of speech within the genre. Furthermore, it’s no wonder that the Miami artist sees his influence in the current brand of salacious and sexually liberated femcees (only one part of the wide spectrum of female rap). In fact, he recently name-dropped a few of them while asking for a check from multiple of them for paving the way for their superstar success, while dissing the boys in the process. A check is probably going too far, but is the 63-year-old that wrong in his assessment?

Uncle Luke Wants His Payday For Pioneering Part Of The Femcee Landscape

“All the f***ing girls,” Uncle Luke continued. “Megan Thee Stallion, anybody that’s running around shaking their a**es, talking about p***y and d**k on the record, y’all need to send me a check. Nipsey Hussle Wax Figure Impresses Atlanta Fans At Invest Fest

In March 2019, Nipsey Hussle’s life was tragically cut short, but his legacy lives on. The West Coast icon continues to get the recognition he deserves for his contributions to hip-hop and more, most recently at Invest Fest in Atlanta. In a clip making its rounds online, a Nipsey Hussle wax figure is unveiled at the event, and the crowd goes wild.

Earn Your Leisure CEO Rashad Bilal teamed up with Microsoft and The Marathon, the late rapper’s clothing company, for the $100K Nipsey Hussle Business Grant. The grant went to one lucky entrepreneur to grow their business. Bilal chatted with REVOLT about the partnership last month. He revealed that it all stemmed from his interview with Nipsey’s brother, Blacc Sam. “When we were putting together the Invest Fest lineup, I definitely wanted The Marathon to be a part of it in some capacity,” he explained. “The first idea was to have The Marathon as a pop-up shop. But Sam wanted to do something more impactful than just have merch there.”

Mr. Officials Honors Nipsey Hussle With Wax Figure

“So, I just thought we should have a pitch competition,” Bilal continued. “I proposed it to The Marathon team, and they liked it. After that, we spoke with Microsoft, and they also agreed to provide some funding for it. So that was helpful.” The Nipsey Hussle wax figure was created by Mr. Officials, who’s done wax figures of Takeoff, Lil Wayne, and more.

He was also one of the four finalists to join the pitch competition for the Nipsey Hussle Business Grant this weekend. According to him, it took nine months to complete. While the grant went to Divine Luminance Juices in the end, he said he still “[feels] like a winner” in a recent Instagram Story. On this date in 1998, after her successful intro into the game with The Fugees, Lauryn Hill embarked on her solo journey and released her first solo LP entitled The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill on the Ruffhouse/Columbia imprint.

As a play on the titles of Carter G. Woodson’s The Mis-Education of the Negro and the 1972 film The Education Of Sonny Carson, Lauryn Hill’s Miseducation album fused the sounds of neo-soul, reggae, R&B and Hip Hop to create an album unlike anything similar to that which was created during the “bling” era. The 16 track classic was a mainstream hit, mainly because of the cross over appeal of singles like “Everything Is Everything”, “Doo Wop(That Thing}”, Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” and “Ex-Factor”, with production courtesy of Ms, Hill herself.

Supreme shout out to Ms, Hill for this timeless piece of Hip Hop history!

Drake fans are still digesting his latest three-pack, but fortunately for them, it seems like they will satisfy their hunger for new music even more. Thanks to his recent IG Story post via his “plottttwistttttt” burner account, the OVO die-hards think that he will release even more material on his accounts very soon, regardless of whether they land on streaming. Moreover, the post shows a load of Mac file folders under the “ICEMAN” umbrella, which some folks think will lead to a new album related to this moniker. The folders’ titles hint at Nothing Was The Same cuts, Popcaan tracks, “Trophies” versions, listening party content, and OVO fest footage or recordings. No matter how you interpret them, these vaults point to a wide array of content that the 6ix God could gift to fans.

As such, this is very exciting for his supporters, especially as they continue to break down and debate over “Supersoak,” “No Face,” and “Circadian Rhythm.” Of course, a big part of this discussion is what Drake had to say for his many 2024 beef opponents. There are a lot of references to his enemies throughout these cuts; some ring more specific, whereas most of them are quite broad. It seems like the Toronto superstar is broadly and “subliminally” standing tall against his opps… But The Boogeyman might be right around the corner for another round.

Drake Sends OVO Fans Into A Frenzy By Teasing Heaps Of Possible Content

Furthermore, one of Drake’s biggest media allies, DJ Akademiks, recently claimed that – according to his sources – Kendrick Lamar is “loading up” for something, and is coming with new material very soon. But Ak thinks that this won’t have anything to do with their explosive battle, a sharp contrast to The Boy’s recent lyrical content through these “plottttwistttttt” drops. Whether or not this is true is a question for Father Time, and not the one featuring Sampha. Regardless, both fanbases will likely continue to feast this year, whether it’s the continuous success of “Not Like Us” or Drizzy’s deep-pocketed hard drive.

Still, not every new Drake release has been successful, lauded… Or even approved, according to some theorists. His long-awaited Benny The Butcher collab, “Buffalo Freestyle,” landed on the Black Soprano Family boss’ new EP, but disappeared from streaming services shortly after. The YouTube video got shut down due to a UMG copyright strike, so there’s definitely something going on behind the scenes that we’re not clear about. Nevertheless, there will probably be more to replace this removal, if this IG Story is anything to go by. But this overload doesn’t come without its pitfalls, ones that Aubrey will have to strategically navigate to prove his opposition wrong.

Last week, Pooh Shiesty made headlines for a flirty comment he left for Cardi B during an Instagram Live. “I’m 5 mins away baby open the door,” he wrote simply. The femcee recently filed for divorce from her husband Offset after seven years together and is currently expecting their third child. It’s unclear whether or not Cardi is interested, but she’s yet to respond to the advance.

This isn’t the first time Pooh Shiesty has expressed interest in linking up with her, however. During an interview with Spotify’s “Rap Caviar,” for example, he listed her as a dream collaborator along with Lil Wayne. He went on to appear on Cigar Talk, where he once again said he wanted to collaborate. Sadly, it doesn’t look like this will happen anytime soon, as the rapper is currently behind bars.

Pooh Shiesty Shoots His Shot

Hopefully, Cardi will consider it when he gets out in a few years. While Pooh Shiesty’s flirty comment doesn’t exactly come as a surprise considering his past appreciation for Cardi B, it did seemingly prompt a response from her ex. Offset took to X as the message made its rounds online with a simple series of laughing emojis. This appears to suggest that he’s unbothered, though that’s unconfirmed. As for Cardi, she has a lot on her plate these days considering her pregnancy and pending divorce. Right now, for instance, she’s in the process of hunting for an apartment in New York.

She told fans on Instagram Live that she never liked living in Atlanta, despite her and her ex owning a home there.
