Nicki says that moving forward, she’ll have a new gift for the Barbz every Friday. The gifts will lead up to the eagerly-anticipated release of Pink Friday 2, so long as fans pre-save the album. She didn’t give many hints as to what kind of gifts fans can expect. Nicki did make it clear, however, that “every Friday will be Pink Friday.” The LP is slated for release on November 17 of this year, and will serve as a sequel to her iconic 2010 album, Pink Friday.

Fans were not only graced with a special surprise from Nicki today. She also delivered a heartfelt message to her supporters, calling her upcoming album a “gift” to them for their dedication. Tupac’s Brother Says Keefe D Arrest Brought Back The Trauma Of Rapper’s Murder

The world continues to react to the arrest of Duane “Keefe D” Davis. Mopreme Shakur, the brother of 2Pac, has spoken out, saying that hearing of the arrest brought back the trauma of his brother’s death. “The case isn’t closed for me,” Mopreme told TMZ. Furthermore, Mopreme said that just because an arrest had been made didn’t mean that the investigation was over him.

Additionally, Mopreme was critical of the behavior of the Las Vegas Police Department. Apparently, the LVPD only recently reached out to Pac’s family about the ongoing investigation. Furthermore, the first person who did reach out this year retired soon after. Mopreme also said that the family was not made aware of the arrest before it happened, meaning it came as a surprise to the family.

Tupac’s Sister Speaks Out

Elsewhere, Tupac’s sister issued a formal statement through the foundation she set up in her brother’s name. “This is no doubt a pivotal moment. The silence of the past 27 years surrounding this case has spoken loudly in our community. It’s important to me that the world, the country, the justice system, and our people acknowledge the gravity of the passing of this man, my brother, my mother’s son, my father’s son. His life and death matters, and should not go unsolved or unrecognized. So yes, today is a victory but I will reserve judgement until all the facts and legal proceedings are complete. There have been multiple hands involved and there remains so much surrounding the life and death of my brother Tupac and our Shakur family overall. We are seeking real justice, on all fronts.”

Meanwhile, actress Jada Pinkett-Smith also made a statement on her Instagram page. “Now I hope we can get some answers and have some closure. R.I.P. Pac.” Pinkett-Smith and Shakur were reportedly close in high school. Furthermore, Pinkett-Smith has previously said in interviews that one of her biggest regrets in life is not telling Shakur that she loved him.

SoFaygo Is Back With His First Offering Since “GO+” With “Everytime”

Travis Scott’s label, Cactus Jack, has plenty of talent on its roster. The biggest star on the label besides La Flame, is Don Toliver. He and Travis have worked with each other extensively on albums, singles, and more. You also have Sheck Wes, whose debut album, MUDBOY, was a big deal back in 2018. Since then, he has not dropped any solo material since 2022. The label dropped a posse album JACKBOYS in 2019 which had big songs on it like “OUT WEST” and “GATTI,” among others. However, one other artist that is on the label that signed after that record is SoFaygo.

However, the two really have not worked together too often, if not at all. Travis promotes his music on social media, though. Faygo is still working his way up, but he does have some projects under his belt. Just a few months ago, he put out his fifth project, GO+.

Lil Uzi Vert has had an eventful year. This summer, they dropped their highly anticipated Pink Tape album, which boasted hits like the Jersey Club banger “Just Wanna Rock” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Endless Fashion.” But it looks like only months after Pink Tape dropped will a new era of Uzi will soon be upon us. Last night (September 29), the rapper dropped a new song called “NFL,” which stands for “Never Fall In Luv.”

On “NFL,” Uzi keeps their heart on lock, coping with pain and doing their best to avoid future heartache.

“Big body, I feel no pain, I just spiked my soda like I’m in NFL / B*tch don’t call my phone, you heard I’m doin’ well / I don’t give two Fs, like a Fendi belt,” they rap on the song’s chorus.

The song’s accompanying visual features Uzi living the rockstar life, as he goes on shopping sprees, performs for fans, and runs through an emotional minefield, rife with trippy special CGI effects.

It’s likely that the song will appear on Uzi’s upcoming album, which is thought to be the third installment in their Luv Is Rage album series. Uzi teased Luv Is Rage 3 during their set at Listen Out Melbourne 2023 when asked about the album by a fan.

“You know I only drop Luv Is Rage when my heart is hurting,” they said. “It’s about that time. But you know, right now.”
