Deion Sanders reacted to his daughter Deiondra Sanders announcing her pregnancy on Instagram, Friday. In doing so, he joked about becoming a grandfather at a young age and expressed his excitement for the moment in her life. Deiondra is expecting the baby with her partner, Jacquees.

“PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I’m YOUNG. I Love u baby and I’m glad u said u ain’t having a baby to keep a man. You’ve always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain’t gon ever ever let u DOWN especially when I’m UP,” Deion wrote in the comments. Jacquees also responded to the post: “I love you and I got you. BLESSINGS OTW THANK YOU JESUSSSS.”

Chris Brown says he has no interest in mainstream acceptance and that his upcoming deluxe version of his album, 11:11, will encompass 13 new songs. He made the comments in a pair of posts on his Instagram Story on Friday.

“11:11 deluxe album will contain 13 new songs. So all together 35 songs Drops 4/11 be 35 this year,” he began in one post. From there, he added: “I DONT WANT TO BE ACCEPTED FROM NONE OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND FAKE CELEBRITIES. I AM KING IN MY OWN LANE. YOUR FAVE AINT GOT SH*T ON ME AND THEY KNOW IT. AINT FINNA TAP DANCE FOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BEG FORGIVENESS OF ME THAT I DO KNOW.”

His post comes after claiming the NBA removed from the All-Star Celebrity Game roster at the request of one of the event’s sponsors. “I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors, like RUFFLES,” Brown wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. “At this point I’m sick of people bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f—ing past.” He also shared a screenshot of an email appearing to invite him to the game. “I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side… NOT F—ING HAPPENING,” Brown said. Ruffles denied having any say in who participated in the event.

Donald Trump has responded to Robert De Niro saying he would never play the former president in a movie with a scathing post on his website, Truth Social. Appearing on Real Time With Bill Maher on Friday, the Killers of The Flower Moon star explained that he sees “nothing redeemable” in Trump.

“Robert De Niro has a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome” Trump fired back. “Such a stupid sounding guy, a low IQ individual!” It’s far from the first time De Niro has spoken ill of Trump. In 2016, he admitted he’d like to “punch him in the face.”

Draya Michele‘s past comments on having children are resurfacing on social media in the wake of her announcement that she is pregnant with Houston Rockets star Jalen Green’s son. Speaking with The Shade Room back in September, she admitted she wanted to have one more child, and wasn’t concerned whether she was in a relationship to do it.

“Yeah, I want more kids. Like, one I think,” she said before discussing her relationship specifically. “I think the question you’re asking me is if I wanted more kids and I feel like I want more kids. And, I feel like, at this point in my life, the relationship is amazing to have, but that’s not what I’m basing having a kid on because I’m very non-traditional. I feel like you can co-parent without being in a relationship. Maybe just two people say, ‘Hey, you want a kid. I want a kid. Let’s just have a kid. And let’s just see.’ I’m very free-spirited. I’m very open.”

I think most people can agree that competition, as well as friendships in hip-hop are both good for the genre. Not having enough of each could lower the attention it gets. Both add a sense of fascination, keeping fans hooked outside of the music itself. However, talking about beefs can be a little disheartening. There is already so much hate in this world, and seeing artists argue over insignificant things (most of the time) is frustrating. However, we are happy to say that GloRilla and Saweetie are two female rappers that are still friends. It seems there is a lot of animosity with a majority of the femcees, so seeing them still close is nice. GloRilla and Saweetie both popped out to the Billboard Women in Music Awards and rekindled their relationship.

The celebration of women’s contributions in music continued on Wednesday, March 6, marking its 17th anniversary. According to Billboard, it was available to watch on livestream one day later. Of course, like any award show, there is a red carpet portion of the evening and GloRilla and Saweetie took that time to catch up. City Girls’ JT Is Stepping Out On Her Own For The Rapper’s Very First Solo US Tour

JT is ready to step out on her own.

The “Sideways” rapper quickly rose to popularity in hip-hop as part of the duo City Girls. Alongside her longtime friend Yung Miami, the ladies’ raunchy South Florida sound made them a household name. Now that the group has made good on their promise to drop a new album, RAW (Real Ass Wh*res), JT has moved full steam ahead on her solo career. Past collaborations with artists like Nicki Minaj and Kali Uchis were just a start.

Today (March 9), JT took to her official social media pages to announce her very first solo US tour. The 13-date run will begin on March 23 in Houston, Texas. Although JT has not confirmed when ticket sales will start, she did confirm that more dates will be revealed, including a stop in Detroit, Michigan (which appears on the promotional graphic without a date). JT Announces Solo Tour With Stops In Miami, Houston, & More

JT will be traveling across the United States without her City Girls partner, Yung Miami, for a new solo tour. She announced the run of concerts on her Instagram page on Saturday. They include stops in Houston, Dallas, Miami, New York, and more cities. “Mwah! I’m on my way which city will I see you in?” JT captioned the post.

In addition to excitement from fans, many users in the comments section took issue with the lack of some major cities. “Girl where is NEW ORLEANS. Do I need to have my ppl hit your ppl?” one follower wrote. Others complained about not having shows in Chicago, Atlanta, and more. One fan noted that the Detroit concert doesn’t have a date confirmed yet. “Now why Detroit don’t got a date?! don’t piss us off,” they wrote.

The tour announcement comes after she shared her latest solo single, “Sideways,” earlier this month.
