While not every student out there starts today, she took it upon herself to celebrate the new season by sharing a boatload of throwback pictures of herself in her high school days. This is far from the first time that the St. Louis femcee has done so, but we have a lot of new snaps to look at now. Even Metro Boomin and other celebrities pulled up to her comments section to laugh or reminisce themselves. It’s oddly jarring but nonetheless heartening to see this rise from hallway beginnings to superstar status and even an NSFW beauty brand.

Tory Lanez Graduates From High School While In Prison And Sets His Sights On College

Tory Lanez has revealed that he graduated from high school while behind bars for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He spoke with Adin Ross over the phone for an interview over the weekend to update fans on how he’s doing in prison.

“I’m great,” he said. “I know that a lot of people sometimes when they hear prison or they hear somebody’s down, they think n****’s in the corner somewhere bawling his eyes out.” Instead, Lanez says he’s “in a great space mentally,” and is “bettering myself in every single way.” He explained: “A n***a just graduated high school, enrolled in college. Never thought I’d do that. But I’m taking this moment and I’m taking advantage over everything that’s good. I’m a f*cking high school dropout that just graduated high school. That sh*t matters to me. So, it’s the small things that just have me feeling good about life right now.”

Moreover, on Wednesday (April 3), she took to her Instagram Story to express her grievances with a high school in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri that she was meant to visit, but was denied entry to because she smelled like marijuana. The “Get It Sexyy” MC was still on school property, though, and eventually greeted students from atop her vehicle. Not only that, but she treated them to an impromptu performance of the aforementioned track, and you can see them scream along to the lyrics in a clip below.

“Look, so this school, I came up here, got cute, tried to talk to the kids, give them the word of the day and they’re going to put me off tell me I smell like weed,” Sexyy Red expressed on the social media platform. “B***h, you’re nobody, they ain’t come to see you, Otis! A Detroit teacher who refers to herself as Ms. Brown and goes by the rap name, Drippin Honey, has been fired for her music career. Drippin Honey explained in a viral TikTok that a parent of one of her students wasn’t happy about her song “Drippin 101.”

“Recently, I was forced to leave my position due to me being a Rapper,” Drippin Honey wrote. “A single parent’s disapproval led to my dismissal. The parent wished to stay Anonymous after contacting my job for months, I’ve been dealing with this since I dropped ‘Drippin 101’ in October. 5 months later Meetings after meetings defending my involvement in the music industry I was asked to erase all my content that’s when I knew I HAVE TO BET ON MYSELF CUZ NOBODY WILL IF I DONT.”

Rolling Loud previously worked with WWE and the Miami Heat through their iconic music festival. The league, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia, showcases players from the ages of 16-20.

“The sport and spirit of basketball is an important part of the Rolling Loud experience, so we’re excited to expand that connection beyond the festival grounds with Overtime Elite.
