Sexyy Red Shares Son’s Hilariously Inappropriate School Project: Watch

As an expecting mother, many folks online are currently dragging Sexyy Red for her antics and her attitude in this preparatory phase of motherhood. Moreover, it’s taken off a bit of the heat that she used to get as an actual mother regarding her music’s content and her general presence as an artist. While that criticism is debatably simplistic, unsympathetic, and unfair, we can’t deny that the St. Louis MC doesn’t lean into ruffling those feathers often. In fact, we recently saw how this might’ve hilariously manifested in her son getting in some trouble over an inappropriate project at school. We say “might” because we don’t want to assume that the 25-year-old influenced her son to do this; it could’ve been anyone or anything.

Furthermore, she shared an interaction with a teacher that texted her about her son Kylan’s situation. “Please Meet With Me After School To Discuss Kylans Project Today In Class,” the teacher wrote to Sexyy Red along with pictures of the “project.” Apparently, the kids had to play with some Play-Doh, and Kylan used the brown and green clay to make… a rolled blunt. “Yes ma’am [facepalm emoji],” the “SkeeYee” rapper replied to her, who’s comically saved in her contacts as “Ms Big Booty.” But in her Twitter screenshot of the texts, she captioned it with “Chucky bad a**.”

Sexyy Red’s Son Got Into Some Hilarious Trouble Over Play-Doh: Watch

Of course, this was a pretty funny revelation, and one that we’re sure the Hood Hottest Princess will run into more in her motherhood journey. Still, there are definitely some other headlines that she might want to have a talk with Kaylan about, and steer him in another direction. One of these is Sexyy Red’s current beef with Khia, which turned pretty nasty recently. It’s always hard to balance a career- especially a decidedly explicit one- with parenthood.

Regardless, let’s not discourage her from giving up on that journey. Far too many people are quick to judge celebrities with impunity for situations that they shrug off in real life. In any case, we can’t wait to see what Kaylan’s next school project will be. On that note, come back to HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Sexyy Red.

Sexyy Red’s “SkeeYee” Catchphrase Used By Teacher To Calm Her Students Down

Sexyy Red’s an absolute phenomenon these days, capturing the hearts of many listeners and fans and linking up with everyone from Chrisean Rock to Drake and even Tyler, The Creator. However, her viral nature is spreading to unexpected places that are ruffling some feathers. For example, an elementary school teacher recently went viral online for using the rapper’s “SkeeYee” catchphrase to calm her students down. Memori Peoples recently posted the interaction online, and some viewers love that educators are engaging with children in more fun, creative, and cooperative ways. On the other hand, others expressed concern over the St. Louis native being played to kids given her explicit content.

“If you see me and you tryna see wassup,” Peoples quotes from Sexyy Red’s hit as her class is talking amongst themselves in the clip. “SkeeYee!” they respond. “Day 2 of the school year!,” she captioned her post. “Each year I have different call and response because each class is different! And well……this class has spoken! Students: ‘This one hits!’ Me: Chhhiillee. #teacher #teacherlife #elementaryschool.” Despite the backlash, it does make you think of what other popular songs could be good to use in this way.

Teacher Uses Sexyy Red’s “SkeeYee” To Engage Students

Moreover, it’s important to note that we don’t really have the full context behind this interaction. For one, Peoples seemed to imply that the kids just really like Sexyy Red, so this might not even be of her own design. In addition, it’s not like she’s playing “SkeeYee” in her class or quoting any lewd or inappropriate parts of it. Regardless, this will still be a heavy debate for many, but one that’s become unfortunately all-too-common for female expression in hip-hop. There’s a lot that the boys get away with without a fuss, and femcees always get the short end of the stick.

Still, this double standard failed to stop the 25-year-old from rising to the top of the game. With a new collab with Lil Durk on the way, it seems like she’ll continue this upward trajectory for the foreseeable future. Let’s see how she continues to make her way into other pop culture and cultural corners. With that in mind, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Sexyy Red.

Kanye West Sued By Another Former Donda Academy Teacher

Kanye West is being sued by a third former Donda Academy teacher. This time, the lawsuit surrounds allegations that the school was an unsafe working environment. Timanii Meeks was allegedly let go after informing school authorities that the building was not safe. She filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday. She is suing on the basis of allegedly being fired without adequate reasoning and hazardous conditions.

Attorney Ron Zambrano said, “Clearly, Ye has a big problem on his hands with this school.” Adding, “The addition of Ms. Meeks to the complaint only serves to reinforce the nightmarish conditions for staff and students at Donda Academy.” He went on to claim, “Ms. Meeks was fired months before Cecilia Hailey and Chekarey Byers were terminated but all three clearly witnessed the same illegal and disturbing code violations and conduct at the school.” The attorney also stated, “all three were given the same retaliatory and unlawful treatment merely for trying to stand up for the students’ rights to a meaningful education.”

Meeks alleges that there was “bullying and assault” taking place at Donda Academy, as well as safety hazards like exposed wiring within the building. She also claims that she received complaints from parents for not having books in her classroom. Cecilia Hailey and Chekarey Byers also sued Ye earlier this year, making similar claims. The former teachers were represented by the same law firm as Meeks, which claims the firings were “retaliatory.”

Reports included claims that students were exclusively served sushi and weren’t allowed to use chairs. They also state that students had to follow a very strict, all-black clothing policy. Reports additionally claimed that students were not allowed to go outside until the end of the school day. It was also reported that standard janitorial practices were not practiced in the building. Hailey alleged that the school’s curriculum also omitted various major pieces of history, including the holocaust. “They definitely wanted to suppress a lot of information in reference to history,” she described.

[WATCH] 15-Year-Old Student Shoved By Teacher For Not Reciting Pledge of Allegiance

The parents of a 9th grader in South Carolina are suing after their daughter was allegedly pushed by a teacher for not saying the Pledge of Allegiance while she was walking to class.

Marissa Barnwell, the student, said during a news conference on Thursday that she was walking quietly to her class at River Bluff High School in Lexington, South Carolina and decided not to stop walking to recite the pledge or a moment of silence.

A teacher at the school allegedly yelled at her, confronted her, and pushed her against a wall nearby.

“I was just in disbelief,” Barnwell said, recalling that she told the teacher “Get your hands off of me.”

Barnwell, who’s 15 years old, was sent to the principal’s office afterward, which she described as humiliating because she thought she was in trouble.

After the meeting, the principal sent Barnwell back to class, but didn’t let her know that the teacher was wrong for accosting her and pushing her into a wall for not stopping to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I was completely and utterly disrespected,” Barnwell said, according to The State newspaper. “No one has apologized, no one has acknowledged my hurt. … The fact that the school is defending that kind of behavior is unimaginable.”

Barnwell’s parents have filed a lawsuit against the River Bluff High School teacher, principal, Lexington School District 1, as well as the South Carolina Education Department in federal court, stating that their daughter’s First Amendment and civil rights were violated.

The South Carolina legislature passed a law over 30 years ago requiring schools in the state to play the Pledge of Allegiance at a certain time each day, but also prohibits punishment for students who refuse to recite the pledge.

Tyler Bailey, the family’s attorney, said that students should be able to exercise their constitutional rights.

“The thing that’s beautiful about America is we have freedoms,” Bailey said. “Students in our schools should feel safe, they should not be feel threatened for exercising their constitutional rights.”

The teacher and principal allegedly involved in the incident are still employed at the school, according to its website.
