Metro Boomin Gets Brutally Honest About “Personal Issue” With Drake

In an upcoming interview with GQ recently teased by Elliott Wilson, Metro Boomin and Future discuss their collaborative albums, creative processes, and more. Unsurprisingly, they also talk about the viral feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar which erupted partially due to the latter’s appearance on their We Don’t Trust You track “Like That.”

Metro even opened up about the root of his own issues with the Toronto rapper, and while he didn’t give specifics, made it clear that it’s personal. “Me and [Drake], we had a personal issue, and for the record, not over no girl or nothing silly like that,” he explained. “It was a personal issue that really hurt me and disappointed me.”

Metro continued, noting how there was nothing out of the ordinary about their falling out, besides the fact that they’re both public figures. “If you take all the rap entertainment out of it, it’s like, have you ever been real cool with somebody, and y’all fell out over something? It happens every day. It’s just regular sh*t. This just happens to have an audience,” he said.

This was far from the only vulnerable moment of the interview, however. Metro Boomin also took the opportunity to admit that he regrets going after Drake on X. “Now I did have my moment online, which I do regret. I should have been stronger than that. That was out of character for me. But at a certain point, it’s like, I don’t rap, bro, so you’re going to just sh*t on me on all of these songs… I’m not going to get in the booth, so I’m finna tweet at you,” he stated.

Katt Williams Clarifies Shocking Diddy Claims He Made On “Club Shay Shay”

Earlier this week, GQ published an exclusive interview with Katt Williams, which appears in their Men of The Year issue. In the interview, the controversial comedian discussed his viral appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast Club Shay Shay, which has racked up a staggering 83 million views since its January release. At the time, he went after several of his celebrity peers including Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric The Entertainer, and more. He even made some shocking claims about Diddy, who is currently behind bars facing disturbing allegations.

“Because P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no!” he alleged, “I did.” Williams told GQ how Diddy “ended up on his list,” and his answer was fairly simple. According to him, it all started with his love for 2Pac. “So when I was a young man, Tupac was my favorite artist. I loved Tupac. And I felt like we were kindred spirits,” he recalled. “So if I hear you responsible for knocking my n***a off — I don’t give a f**k what job I end up being in, I don’t care how things go, if I can get a way to get you, that’s what I’m all about.”

Katt Williams Says He Didn’t Like Seeing Diddy “Walking Around Scot-Free”

Williams continued, admitting he didn’t like seeing Diddy “walking around scot-free” considering all of the heinous things he’s allegedly done. “‘Cause you a demon, and I know demons are powerful, but I know why they’re powerful,” he explained. “It’s cold spiritual warfare going on out here in the real world. And part of my job is to not lose focus on that.”

Williams’ first appearance on Club Shay Shay may not be his last, as earlier this week, Sharpe seemingly teased a second bombshell interview. “There’s a possibility that you might hear the haymakers very very soon,” he said on Nightcap recently. At the time of writing, the potential interview has no official release date.

Pharrell Clarifies He Didn’t Mean To Diss Taylor Swift With Shot At Politcal Endorsements

Pharrell Williams says he never intended to diss Taylor Swift by criticizing celebrity endorsements of politicians prior to the 2024 presidential election. He had made the comments during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that was published after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris. Reflecting on the drama during a new conversation with GQ, Pharrell revealed that he’s a fan of the iconic singer.

“Because that’s what they do. They pit you against each other. I love Taylor. She knows that,” Pharrell began. When asked if he even mentioned Swift, he added: “No. Zero. In fact, I bought a 1989 Taylor T-shirt online last year, and I was walking around here with it tucked into my jeans. I love her. I love people, bro. That was some right-wing troll sh*t. But I heard something the other day that made the most sense in the world: Right-wing, left-wing, all the same bird.”

As for the original comments from Pharrell, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “I don’t do politics. In fact, I get annoyed sometimes when I see celebrities trying to tell you [who to vote for]. There are celebrities that I respect that have an opinion, but not all of them. I’m one of them people [who says], ‘What the heck? Shut up. Nobody asked you.’ When people get out there and get self-righteous and they roll up their sleeves and sh*t, and they are out there walking around with a placard: ‘Shut up!’”

Drake Ruthlessly Roasted By O’Shea Jackson Jr Over Cringey GQ Photoshoot

Drake has not been having a particularly good time as of late. Overall, this is due to the fact that he has been having a rough go of his battle with Kendrick Lamar. Songs like “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” have ultimately given Lamar the win. Although Drake fans are holding out hope of a comeback, it seems as though public opinion has shifted in one very obvious direction. Interestingly enough, Kendrick has remained reclusive throughout this entire process. Fans have not seen him since the release of “Like That,” which is impressive in and of itself.

One person who has been taking Kendrick’s side in all of this is O’Shea Jackson Jr, the son of Ice Cube. Jackson has been making some jokes at Drake’s expense as of late, and this week, he took aim at one of Drake’s old photoshoots with GQ. In the image, Drake is pointing a finger gun with one eye closed as if he is looking to aim with precision. However, it seems as though Drizzy missed a key detail here, as he had the wrong eye closed. “Is he using the wrong eye to aim or am I trippin?” Jackson joked.

O’Shea Jackson Jr. Makes Fun Of Drake

This led to many piling on Drake in the replies. For instance, Punch from TDE came through and said “Man I didn’t know you were this funny on here.” Another commenter wrote “No wonder his shots towards Kendrick weren’t hitting . Lame ahh n***a.” The jokes did not end there, with someone else simply saying “No, you’re not. It explains why all his disses missed too.” Needless to say, Drake cannot escape clowning right now. However, that could probably change with a few summer bangers.

Let us know what you think of everyone clowning Drake, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that everyone is going too far now? Do you think that the artist will be able to make a comeback later this year that makes everyone forget about what just happened? 4batz Shares Surprising Response To Industry Plant Allegations

Texas singer 4batz has experienced a meteoric rise to fame in 2024. He began the year as a relative unknown. But shortly after he began to rapidly rise in profile. That came when his song “date @ 8” began to take off on TikTok. That eventually translated into radio success as well and the song made its debut on the Hot 100 shortly after. The track didn’t hit its peak on the chart until Drake teamed up with the breakthrough singer for a remix of the track. It peaked at number 7 the next week and has stuck around on the charts landing at number 63 this week.

Like almost any artist who experiences such a substantial rise to fame, 4batz has faced allegations of being an industry plant. During a recent interview with GQ he was asked about the allegations and gave a pretty surprising answer. “I think it’s kind of cool, It’s like I’m the boogeyman. People are going to meet me and be like, Oh, this is a regular hood n*gga,” he replied. It came during an interview where he got candid about the experiences in his life that led him to depression and homelessness before catching his big break. Following his successful collaboration with Drake he signed a contract with OVO. Check out the full interview he gave below.

4batz Doesn’t Mind Being The “Boogeyman”

The industry plant allegations aren’t being levelled at 4batz just because of his association with Drake and his new deal with OVO. He’s also been working with Kanye West recently. Video of the pair in the studio together made the rounds earlier this month. It led to fans suspecting that he could make an appearance on VULTURES 2.

The unique singer’s debut EP for OVO is expected to drop soon. What do you think of 4batz leaning into the reputation that comes with facing industry plant allegations? Do you think he has more hits in him beyond just “date @ 8?” Let us know in the comment section below.

Dwyane Wade Has Sexuality Questioned After Posing In Blue Collar Attire For GQ

Dwyane Wade is one of the most legendary shooting guards in the entire history of the NBA. Overall, he is a player who is beloved by Miami Heat fans. After all, he brought three NBA titles to that team, which is nothing to sneeze at. Although some people feel as though the Heat should have won more with LeBron, D-Wade is still a great ambassador for that franchise. When all is said and done, he will likely go down as the team’s most legendary player. Even if he wasn’t necessarily the best.

These days, Wade has been raising his family and having a good time with his wife, Gabrielle Union. However, some people have been exceptionally negative as it pertains to Wade. With Zaya Wade’s transition in mind, some have put the man’s parenting into question. Moreover, whenever he debuts a new fashion look, people try to question his sexuality. It must be extremely frustrating for Wade, but he doesn’t seem to let it get in the way of whatever he wants to do. Case in point: his latest GQ photoshoot.

Dwyane Wade For GQ

This shoot was for GQ‘s Denim’s New Age issue which is coming out next month. Overall, Wade can be seen wearing a pair of jeans, black cowboy boots, a white t-shirt, and a neutral hat. It is an inoffensive outfit that led to some pretty offensive comments. “He doing this while Gabby Union at home mowing the lawn,” one person wrote. “Ok lil nas wade,” said another. The implications of the comments were pretty obvious, and it is bizarre to see so many people take something so simple and make it negative. That said, it is good to see Wade ignoring the hate and doing his own thing.

Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section below. Is the hate against Dwyane Wade overblown? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite athletes and their coming moves.

Cam’ron Confirms He & Mase Have Unheard Music In The Vault

It’s no secret that Cam’ron and Mase are an iconic duo. They became friends as kids, formed a hip-hop group together in the early 90s, and then slowly started to drift apart. Eventually, their relationship turned sour, and Cam’ron accused Mase of being a “fraud,” kicking off what would end up being a years-long feud.

Luckily, the two of them were ultimately able to sort out their differences. They even joined forces to start a sports podcast together last year, It Is What It Is. It’s gone on to become a massive success, hosting various high-profile guests like Ice Cube, Stephen A. Smith, and many more. They even scored a major deal with Underdog Fantasy in August, giving the personalities even more room to grow.

What’s Happening With Pitchfork And ‘GQ’?

pitchfork logo
Pitchfork/Derrick Rossignol

Pitchfork has been a consistent presence in the lives of many music fans, as the website launched in 1996 and has long been one of the most popular music journalism brands. (They also launched the annual Pitchfork Music Festival in 2006.) The publication has undergone some changes along the way, though, most notably being sold to Condé Nast (which also owns publications like Vogue, The New Yorker, GQ, Vanity Fair, Wired, and more) in 2015. Now, it looks like another new era at Pitchfork has just begun.

What’s happening with Pitchfork and GQ?

In a tweet on January 17, media reporter Max Tani shared a note sent by Condé Nast management to staff. The message indicates that Pitchfork will have some sort of merger with GQ. It also says that some Pitchfork employees are no longer with the company effective today (January 17), apparently including Puja Patel, who was the site’s editor in chief.

The message — signed by Anna Wintour, Condé Nast’s chief content officer and global editorial director of Vogue — reads:

“Dear all,

Today we are evolving our Pitchfork team structure by bringing the team into the GQ organization. This decision was made after a careful evaluation of Pitchfork’s performance and what we believe is the best path forward for the brand so that our coverage of music can continue to thrive within the company. Both Pitchfork and GQ have unique and valuable ways that they approach music journalism, and we are excited for the new possibilities together.

With these organizational changes, some of our Pitchfork colleagues will be leaving the company today. I want to thank Puja for her leadership of the title over the last five years. She has been a wonderful colleague and advocate for the brand, and I’m grateful for her and the team’s many contributions.

Members of the Pitchfork team will hear more about their reporting structure in meetings this week. There are no additional changes at this time as we focus on our internal team structure and operations. We will of course keep this team updated first when any new decisions are made about the transition.

Anna.”

As Variety reports, features editor Jill Mapes is among those no longer with Pitchfork, as Mapes revealed on X (formerly Twitter). Variety also notes, “A rep for Condé Nast did not have information on how many Pitchfork staffers are being let go.” Associate news director Evan Minsker also revealed he was laid off.

Meanwhile, Tani noted in response to a question about Pitchfork’s future, “Pitchfork is going to continue publishing, but future seems unclear medium/long term. I’m told this was a business side decision, advertising is stronger at other Conde brands like GQ. But don’t have much more info yet…”

Officially, there has been no announcement about specifically how Pitchfork will exist and operate going forward.

Pharrell Reflects On What He’s Learned As Louis Vuitton Creative Director

Pharrell recently discussed some of the lessons he’s learned since taking over as creative director at Louis Vuitton. Speaking with GQ, the legendary producer explained the importance of having a great team around you as an artist.

“One of the greatest things that I’ve learned is about really concentrating on how to do something great, and how important it is to have the resources to bring it to life,” Pharrell told the outlet. “Being surrounded by the greatest of the greats, team wise, it just makes all the difference in the world. I mean, you can have good ideas all the time. There’s so many people with great ideas, but when you don’t have the right team around you and the unlimited resources and support, it’s just extremely difficult. I’ve learned that.” Pharrell added: “I don’t know how I got anything done before this. Now I’m used to working with an orchestra of brilliant talent.”

Pharrell also discussed how he felt after his debut fashion show in Paris in June. “I didn’t have any expectations,” he admitted to the outlet. “I just was so caught up in the process, as I am now. I’m just very… I’m not overwhelmed in a negative way, but I am consumed by the creative process and executing and getting things right. That’s so important to me.”

Pharrell joined the fashion house back in February, filling the position left vacant by the death of Virgil Abloh in 2021. Kim Kardashian to Play Lawyer Inspired by Laura Wasser in New TV Series

Kim Kardashian Says She Protects Her Children From Any Negative Conversations About Ye

Kim Kardashian will soon be the lead role in a new Ryan Murphy show. According to TMZ, Kardashian will portray a famous divorce attorney inspired by Laura Wasser for a new TV show.

Wasser represents celebrities in their divorce dealings and has represented Ariana Grande, Kris Jenner, Ryan Reynolds, and more.

Deadline details the story as “a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural” and will air on Hulu. The show was pitched to Kardashian and Kris Jenner before being sold to the streamer, which also houses The Kardashians reality show.

Recently, Kim Kardashian covered GQ’s 28th annual Men of the Year issue. In the vast cover story, she speaks on her divorce from Kanye West, specifically addressing how watching her parents’ divorce impacted how she approached her own.

Kim reveals she was nine when her parent’s divorce happened, citing a family meeting led to the divorce conversation. Now, she uses those experiences for herself.

“I did think about how my parents handled it with us,” Kardashian said. “I just remember them being open…Ultimately, what matters is that kids feel loved and heard. You want to be sensitive because they’re just kids, and it’s hard to go through no matter what age. You have to make sure that you only go to a level that they can understand. It’s okay to show a vulnerable side. You never go to a negative side.”

Kardashian also revealed she is “more religious than most people guess” and prays to her children before bed. The practice replicates what Robert Kardashian did to Kim and her siblings. “That’s how I manage life. I look at everything as lessons. Things happen exactly the way that they are supposed to and take you exactly where you need to be. Even if it doesn’t make sense at the time, it’s leading you to a path.”
