Kanye West is always dealing with some sort of issue, regardless of if it was caused by him or someone else. Currently, his accuser and former Yeezy employee, Lauren Pisciotta, is looking to sue the controversial mogul for sexual assault/harassment. Currently, no one really knows who is at fault here, as Ye has recently announced that he is suing Lauren back. He and his legal claim she was trying to persuade him to commit sexual acts, while also blackmailing him for millions. So much is still to come of that situation, so be sure to stay locked in with us. Right now, though, Kanye West has to deal with a potential hacker unloading multiple songs on his YouTube.

This all went down just moments ago, as it appears that 13 total tracks were leaked on to the official page of Mr. West. The capsule includes what could be unfinished demos and older sounding tracks. Additionally, they could be Donda leftovers, due to the all-black cover art on each song. Each one was released separately and not as a project. Or, since we are in the middle of the VULTURES era, these could be throwaways, too.

Chance the Rapper certainly dug himself into a deep hole when he dropped his debut studio album The Big Day. The 2019 project did boast quite an impressive feature list of Smino, Nicki Minaj, Lil Durk, Gucci Mane to even Shawn Mendes. However, after a successful run of mixtapes — Coloring Book (2016), Acid Rap (2013), and 10 Day (2012) — fans were expecting greatness. But nearly everyone was left lost and extremely disappointed. After that, the once beloved figure from Chicago was viewed as washed up. The mood does seem to be changing around Chance the Rapper, though, especially with these new singles and snippets.

After a long run of features for about three years, 2022 saw him drop some new solo material. From songs like “Child of God” to the most recent “Together”, these singles are possible cuts for Star Line. Sometimes called Star Line Gallery, it has been getting a lot of hype thanks to Chance’s improved performances. Even his “Writing Exercise” loosies have people excited again and rightfully so.

Moreover, Cardi B and BIA officially entered the “on wax” portion of their once-rumored and now-apparent beef, as the latter launched the “SUE MEEE?” diss track against the former. The online consensus seems quite positive, as many had praise for the Massachusetts MC’s wordplay and flows, but others were too busy clowning or defending Bardi or expressing that the cut could’ve gone harder. Either way, the “Like That”-reminiscent beat and personal shots definitely set this diss in the pantheon of this year’s feuds.

Furthermore, this all came up because of fans thinking that Cardi B started to bite BIA’s style, a sentiment that the latter seemed in full agreement with. Of course, when it comes to influence and inspiration, not every single artist gets the proper credit that they deserve. But it’s also true that references don’t always indicate full biting, and that this is a pretty vague and up-to-interpretation debacle. Remy Ma often deals with a lot of trolls online, but when the actual narrative behind the trolling is unclear, it just makes for a messy situation overall. Moreover, a clip recently surfaced of her performing for a seemingly small crowd at DC Pride, which Barbz had a field day with. They clowned the femcee for the show’s size, her performance energy, or just chose to bring up the Nicki Minaj beef once more for good measure. However, one commenter in particular called this a misrepresentative interpretation, as they claimed this was apparently a pre-show event before her actual larger-scale performance for around 5,000 people.

Furthermore, at least this is a bit of a better look for Remy Ma compared to some other recent headlines that have raised eyebrows her way. For those unaware, she received accusations of cheating on Papoose with Eazy The Block Captain, a younger battle rapper. These allegations actually made it so deep into the battle rap space, and their particular lane within it, that Cassidy recently dissed Eazy on a new track. It wasn’t just an “I’m better than you” argument, but one that also brought up this alleged infidelity as an attack.

Remy Ma’s DC Pride… Performance? Pre-Show? See Comments For Fans’ Reactions & Debates

Not only that, but rumors that the two have split based on Remy Ma’s body language at Papoose’s birthday event haven’t really helped this narrative diminish. Either way, there’s a lot of drama going on right now in her life, which definitely has been the case for a couple of years now. It’s hard to not think about the Nicki Minaj beef as a leading cause of that, but it would be overly reductive to solely attribute this to that conflict. After all, there are plenty of ways in which careers don’t necessarily become less impactful, but can see a smaller or more measured reception.

In fact, given that Nicki Minaj had previously vaguely hinted at burying the hatchet with Remy Ma, maybe that’s not an important factor anymore. Still, we’ll see whether there are more widely spread clips of this DC Pride performance in the near future that could prove or disprove the current narrative. 21 Savage has been rumored to be in a relationship with Latto for a while now, so much so that it’s made fans suggest that he was already a married man. Moreover, his wife recently posted a picture of him and their son with the caption “Middle school here he come [graduate emoji]” on her Instagram Story. Many fans took to the comments section of the post below to messily bring up the alleged Latto fling, chastise fans for not knowing about the Atlanta rapper’s partner Keyanna Joseph, or to joke about this shock. Either way, their actual relationship status is unclear at press time, but at the very least, things seem quite amicable for the two, which is the most important thing.

Elsewhere, 21 Savage is keeping things pretty chill during his current tour… or at least, he’s trying to stay at a regular temperature. Recently, Soulja Boy decided to pick a fight with Metro Boomin, and 21 stepped in to defend his Savage Mode collaborator. While Soulja apologized to Metro, it seems like he’s still got smoke for the “redrum” MC, and there’s no telling whether either will double down on this in a significant way. Maybe it just ends up being one of the less notable, yet nevertheless numerous, rap beefs of the year.

Quavo Roasted For His Acting In New John Travolta Movie, But He Doesn’t Mind

Quavo is now an actor, as folks are talking about his role in a new John Travolta action movie about a heist gone wrong and all the antics, dangers, and thrills that unfold as a result. Cash Out released this Friday (April 26) in select theaters and for rentals on VOD, and as is typical for a more B-movie type of experience, there were plenty of critical but also amused reviews and takes on it, particularly his performance. Still, it seems like the former Migo is letting all of that slide, as he called himself “Quazel Washington” in the comments section of a DJ Akademiks post which included a clip from the film, which you can see below. Can’t wait for his next roles in The Book Of Huncho, The Discriminizer (listen to “pick up the phone” for context), and of course, Training Quay.

Furthermore, there were a lot of comments on Quavo’s performance in particular all over social media, not just under this Ak post. Many of them came from Chris Brown fans, who found yet another reason to claim that their fav is destroying him in their beef. Whether you’re on Breezy’s side or Huncho’s, their back-and-forth has rivaled even that of the “Big Three” debacle that really just turned into the “Big Two & Guests” feud involving Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and J. Cole. If nothing else, at least they’ve quickly and firmly responded to each other’s diss tracks and are sticking to the script.

One of the saddest realities of femcee rap beef is how the industry often turns these women against each other rather than encouraging all of them to pursue their artistry and careers without feeling the need to “pick a side” or put other women down in the process. Whenever there’s new alleged feuding on the horizon, skeptical scrutiny is always necessary. Moreover, JT fans are debating whether or not a bar on her new song “Okay” was aimed as a diss towards former City Girls collaborator Cardi B. “She ate crab legs, now her whole tooth missing,” she raps on the cut. “Cheap a** veneers, you stay talking s**t / Put a marker to this b***h, she’s so counterfeit.”

Furthermore, some fans think this seems to reference a Cardi B video from last month in which she appears with a tooth missing and explains that “one of [her] veneers came out while chewing on a hard-a** bagel.” For those unaware, these two rap superstars had beef back in 2022 over some exposed DM exchanges and ghostwriting accusations. Eventually, Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason Lee mediated things and they squashed it out, so there’s no current reason to believe there’s much of a feud. For example, the former recently brought out JT during a Pink Friday 2 tour stop. As such, maybe one could assume loyalties thanks to this development.

Regardless, the Florida native has to work out her issues with her fellow City Girl, Yung Miami. While things seem to have patched up between them, it’s never a good look for a duo to have, especially as they move more and more solo. Doja Cat Puts On Provocative Performance Of “Wet V**ina” At Coachella & Twerks Up A Storm

Coachella 2024 is now officially over. The celebrated and storied music festival had its second weekend of performances that went from April 19 to April 21. There were a lot of headlines that spawned from the festivities, including a new Ice Spice track dissing Latto, and Doja Cat putting on a multi-faceted headlining show. People were raving about it last week for its choreography, costumes and props, as well as the show-stopping energy from the California multi-hyphenate. It was also a bit of a twist and quite refreshing to see her not play just her biggest songs. Doja Cat wanted to highlight songs like “Wet V**ina,” for example and did she ever by twerking like a maniac.

Since the themes of the song include self-confidence while also embracing your sexuality and your desires, Doja made sure to shed light on that during the performance. In the full video below, she goes centerstage all by herself and rolls around in a mud bath. At around the 30 second mark is the part that most fans are going to want to see, though. Doja shook her rear end like no one was around, as she really embraced the raunchy nature of the song.

However, about a minute later 10 female back up dancers joined her onstage to get drenched in mud. Fans had nothing but positive reviews for the show and the “Wet V**ina” performance once again. One person writes, “She really has outstanding stage presence and knows how to rule the stage, it might be too “sexual” for some people, but I think that’s the point of the performance and I didn’t feel uncomfortable watching it. def top performance from this year.” Another adds, “My mind went blank when you performed it… Such an iconic performance.”
