Playboi Carti Accused Of Sending Crew To Attack Fan & His Girlfriend For Trolling The Rapper

Playboi Carti has always had a love and hate relationship with fans, as he often shows love in person but refuses to drop or communicate with them often. Sadly, we got a recent alleged example of this that actually introduced animosity in a face-to-face setting. A male fan accused him of sending his entourage to jump him and his girlfriend for handing him a fake picture of him, which was in more of a meme context that he supposedly did not appreciate. “About ten minutes ago, Playboi Carti’s crew jumped me and my girlfriend all because I wanted to ask him to sign my picture,” the fan accused concerning the “Thought I Was Dead” collaborator.

“He took my picture and he told his gang, ‘Go get his phone from him,’” the Playboi Carti fan alleged. “Me and my girl ran and they chased us down. And what I did is I gave him my girlfriend’s phone because I have the video of him snatching it and getting angry. Here’s the video.” In the video, you can see the “Timeless” rapper seemingly grab the picture. Then it cuts to the fan running towards presumably his girlfriend, and then it shows an altercation with various individuals seemingly pinning his girlfriend down.

Playboi Carti Fan Accused Him Of Getting Him And His Girlfriend Jumped

Of course, this is all a pretty unclear situation, and Playboi Carti fans are debating whether or not he’s in the right… if this even is what actually happened. Some think it was an overreaction, others think the fan shouldn’t have trolled, but everyone agrees that allegedly going for his girlfriend took things too far. Sadly, the Atlanta artist is no stranger to conflict whether within or outside his music. He has somewhat of a rivalry with Benji Blue Bills, who recently dropped the track “Load Out” with LAZER DIM 700.

Meanwhile, Ola Runt’s recent release from prison meant that he finally responded to Playboi Carti’s diss back in 2020. So wherever he looks, the Whole Lotta Red creative has some scuffles to handle. Maybe he will clear this situation up and avoid them in the future, but with how shadowy and mysterious he always comes off, we wouldn’t bet on it.

Tyler The Creator Tops The Charts Again With “CHROMAKOPIA” Amid Hilarious Fan Interactions

Tyler The Creator continues to find massive success with CHROMAKOPIA. The new album hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week (dated November 16) with 160K second-week sales according to Billboard and Luminate. As such, it’s his first chart-topping album to repeat the feat in two consecutive weeks, as CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST went No. 1 once in 2021 and then another time none months later in 2022. It’s the Hawthorne native’s third number one LP overall, including 2019’s IGOR. Also, this was the CHROMAKOPIA‘s first full tracking week, since its Monday morning release resulted in a shortened first tracking week.

Of course, that didn’t stop Tyler, The Creator from getting his most successful commercial performance to date, and it looks like it still won’t stop it from continuing to garner spins. But beyond the numbers game, he’d much rather interact with fans online and talk about what they loved or didn’t love about CHROMAKOPIA. The Odd Future founder asked his followers on Twitter what moments from the album grew on them over time. One fan said that “Sticky” took a few listens to stick, for which he had a hilarious response. “No lie lmfao I realized folks that don’t like that song wear sunscreen by default hahahahaha (I’m generalizing),” T penned.

Of course, that didn’t end up manifesting, and when the project dropped months later, many fans wished they had never put it out. Nevertheless, this was a pretty funny moment for fans to witness, but it seems like Ye eventually got his contact information in order. Moreover, a picture surfaced of the two eating together with a group at a restaurant, although we have no confirmation on when this photo is from.

Kanye West and Baby Keem previously collaborated on Donda‘s “Praise God” back in 2021, so we wonder why Ye didn’t text Keem directly. Regardless, this isn’t the only curious rap link-up that the Chicago artist either engaged in or referenced as of late. For example, at his China show, he thanked Drake for writing the hook to his 2018 ye cut “Yikes.” Considering their complicated relationship, many fans raised their eyebrows at this.

Meanwhile, both Kanye West and Baby Keem have albums on the way, although they are both in an interesting state of limbo. In Keem’s case, we just don’t have an announcement to go off of, whereas Ye’s project announcements are something that fans never believe until the record actually comes out. Maybe they wrap 2024 up with some drops, or we instead have to wait until 2025 for their next moves.

In them, the fan tells SZA that they’re failing their geometry class, and asks for her help.

“Lmaooo ma’am I’m a math dummy,” she replied. “I’m not sure what u expected.” While the songstress didn’t appear confident in her ability to provide the fan with any assistance, she proceeded to ask them to be more specific. “Tell me bout the shapes chile,” she wrote, “How can I help.”

SZA Tells Fan They’re “Cooked”

From there, the fan sent SZA a photo of a problem they were struggling to solve. “I just can’t do this,” they explained, adding various crying and broken heart emojis. Cardi B is seemingly always under fire for something, and this time she is having to speak out against the idea that she is homophobic. According to AllHipHop, this stems from a video that is making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter) of a male “fan” spitting on Cardi B’s wax figure. As you can see from the screenshot below, this guy follows the New York rapper on Instagram, so that in and of itself is odd behavior. In the video you can also hear him say, “They don’t have you in a dark shadow for no reason, b****. Nobody likes you”. A Cardi B fan account reshared the video and the MC came across it and replied to it with, “But when I said be a BOY”.

This set some people off, leading to even more heated fan interactions. For example, this user shamed the “I Like It” songwriter for being against the gay community. “You are becoming so comfortable being homophobic and it’s disgusting”. Again, this prompted Cardi B to respond and she made sure to get her point across. “Stop wit the fake homophobia bulls***. Im not homophobic I don’t care wtf you like to f*** and suck and eat on but be a f***in BOY you a grown a** man spitting at a wax figure of me. I wouldn’t allow no straight man buck on me ever! It seems like Twitter Spaces is the new platform for rappers and the hip-hop community to really get some conversations going. Over the last 72 hours or so, Lupe Fiasco and Joe Budden have been trending on the social media platform for their headline-rich debates with fans. The latter of the two was the latest to host one and the Chicago native decided to join the chat room. In their dialogue, Lupe cleared up some comments he made on his Spaces event this past weekend about his alleged beef with Kendrick Lamar. That subsequently led Joe Budden to address the narrative surrounding him that he dislikes Drake as well.

Another thing that both of their Twitter Spaces share is that at least one fan became upset with the host. As you can hear below, this passionate Drake Stan was not having any of Joe’s slander. He likened the rapper turned podcaster hopping on Spaces to Lamar’s “I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk” bar on “euphoria”.
