Drake & DJ Khaled Link Up To Play Basketball

Drake, DJ Khaled, and Khaled’s son linked up to play a little freeform basketball. The trio shot some at Khalded’s place, using a hoop set up in the living room. Amid all the rumors and recollections of beef surrounding the pair of them, it is a welcome break to see them cutting loose and having some fun. As mentioned, Drake is currently reportedly feuding with Metro Boomin, although the reason for the beef isn’t clear. Meanwhile, Tony Yayo recently recalled nearly shooting Khaled during his beef with Fat Joe while appearing on VladTV. But the video is clear that despite all that, Drake and Khaled remain firm friends.

However, it’s not the only basketball activity that Drake has been involved in. He got the opportunity to provide some color commentary for his beloved Raptors as he joined the broadcast booth for the team’s in-season tournament game against the Celtics last November. Drake’s highlights included poking fun at some of the Celtics’ bench players getting minutes in a close game. “Payton Pritchard’s out there looking like a crypto scammer,” Drake trolled as the rest of the broadcast team barely restrained their laughter. Pritchard, Boston’s 2020 first-round pick, put up 5-3-3 in 17 minutes against the Raptors.

DJ Khaled Recalls Missing A MySpace DM From Drake

Meanwhile, Khaled revealed last year that he and Drake could have linked up sooner if he hadn’t missed a MySpace DM from Drizzy. “I didn’t know how to work that MySpace stuff. But oh my God, if I had an opportunity to sign Drake or work with Drake before Drake was Drake. But it just shows you that he had love for me as a producer, DJ, and as an artist. The music I was making. He had love right and that’s so dope. It’s one of the biggest artists in the world and he’s my family and he’s my brother. As with any two superstars in the game who aren’t beefing, Drake and Khaled have formed a very close friendship. However, it’s interesting to know that there was a chance for their partnership to begin even earlier.

Drake Links Up With Shy Glizzy In Turks & Caicos

Drake’s continuing vacation in Turks & Caicos saw him link up with Shy Glizzy. The pair were photographed together at a bar and seemed to be doing some serious posting up together. Of course, Drake has been on the Caribbean islands for several weeks now and appears to be having a great time.

Earlier in December, Drizzy paid it back to his fans. The rapper bought a massive round of shots for his fans at a beachside Tiki bar. A very scruffy-looking Drizzy was greeted by massive cheers, with some of the bar staff ruffling his hair. Of course, Drake is no stranger to doing nice things for his fans. During the “It’s All a Blur” tour, Drake promised to buy first-class tickets home for a pair of fans who had traveled all the way from Japan to see him perform.

Jim Jones Gives Drake His Flowers For For All The Dogs

Meanwhile, people continue to heap praise on Drake’s major release this year, For All The Dogs. Jim Jones declared For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition his best album of the year. Jones gave his answer at November’s ComplexCon. “That extendo clip that Drake just dropped got real spooky on n-ggas,” Jones explained. However, he also gave props to Too Good To Be True and Utopia. The six-song deluxe EP recently helped push the Drake product back to the top of the Billboard album charts. Despite the success of the album, last week only marked its second week at No. 1. It displaced Stray Kids’ ROCK-STAR, which tumbled to No. 7.

Furthermore, For All The Dogs has also reached platinum certification in recent weeks. However, the RIAA has yet to confirm this. For All The Dogs was able to hold off another resurgence from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which spent another week at No. 2. Ironically, the first track of Drake’s EP shouts out Taylor Swift. “Taylor Swift the only n-gga that I ever rated. Only one could make me drop the album just a little later. Rest of y’all, I treat you like you never made it,” Drake raps on “Red Button”.

Kisha Chavis, the wife of ex-NBA player Joe Smith, returned to It Is What It Is at the request of Ma$e to provide his co-host, Cam’ron, a massage live on the show. The move is a throwback to a moment the week before when Chavis revealed during an interview on Check That Stat that one of her non-OnlyFans side hustles was running a massage business. Cam’ron hyper-fixated on this detail, asking Chavis if she would perform a massage on him.

Additionally, the move comes just a few days after Smith himself spoke out about Cam’ron’s conduct towards his wife. “It bothers me a lot. Akbar V Finally Meets Drake At Houston Strip Club After Years Of Thirsting

Drake has been a busy guy throughout 2023. The Canadian superstar went on one of the most successful tours this calendar year with the It’s All A Blur Tour. Plenty of celebrities and guest rappers accompanied him throughout tons of locations in the United States. Then, Drake delivered his highly-anticipated release, For All The Dogs. While it was a bit disappointing for some, especially after fans felt the got hoodwinked out of hearing the “old Drake,” it was a massive success regardless.

He also followed it up quickly with the Scary Hours Edition, which added six more rap-centric cuts. That was a welcome surprise with him saying he was thinking about taking a year or two off. In a recently shared video, the rapper linked up with the longtime Steelers head coach, practically running down a corridor to give him a big hug. As they try to swap introductions, Glo cuts Tomlin off to eagerly say “Yes, I know who you are”. Just as quickly, Tomlin replied, “And I know who you are!” The video is just all kinds of heart-warming.

Despite being born and raised in Memphis, Glo apparently has big love for the coach who has led the Steelers since 2007. Tomlin is originally from Virginia but has an extensive coaching history. His coaching journey took him through VMI, Memphis, Arkansas State, and Cincinnati at the college level before he jumped to the NFL in 2001. After positional stints with Tampa Bay and Minnesota, Tomlin landed his first head coaching gig with the Steelers. Tomlin most recently coached the Steelers to a 24-17 win over the Rams. However, that has been overshadowed by a beef between rapper Blueface and the wife of the Rams’ starting QB. Kelly Stafford voiced her displeasure over Blue turning a suite at SoFi Stadium into an impromptu strip club during last weekend’s game. In particular, Stafford was upset that her children were exposed to the footage. Furthermore, she argued that Blue’s antics violated the family-friendly nature of an NFL game.

Blue recently shot back on social media, calling Stafford a “Karen” and telling her that LA is his territory. “Somebody tell Mathew stafford wife I been in LA longer then her an Matt. Just a few days ago Lil Yachty clarified that it was Tyler who inspired him to try a new sound on his psychedelic rock album Let’s Start Here earlier this year.

Now Tyler, The Creator is handing out with one of the most acclaimed and also most mysterious singers in R&B. Sampha isn’t one of the genre’s most popular voices necessarily but those in the know understand that his unique vocals have been used to soundtrack so many brilliant songs.
