Travis Scott’s UTOPIA is available worldwide and is expected to top the Billboard Charts. HitsDailyDouble projects the new album to have a first-week streaming total of 245-275K. The album was streamed to 100 million teams in the U.S. on the first release day.
In addition, Scott has physicals of the album in various bundle packs being sold through his website to his rabid fan base. That total is believed to spike the overall number and near the 500K mark.
The new release is a collection of 19 tracks, exploring a new sound for the boundary-pushing superstar. The album arrived after Scott took over theaters nationwide with his CIRCUS MAXIMUS film, which he wrote and directed.

Joseline Hernandez, The Puerto Rican Princess, has a warrant out for arrest. A new video has hit the Internet following her backstage brawl at a boxing match, showing her assaulting officers. In the video, Hernandez is confronted by multiple officers. After yelling at them, she attacks multiple officers.
According to The Shade Room, Hernandez is charged with battery of law enforcement officers. She is due in court by Aug. 10. If she does not show, she will forfeit any bond options.
Previously, Joseline Hernandez was arrested in Miami for her role in a massive backstage brawl at the Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III fight. According to TMZ, Hernandez was charged with at least four counts of trespassing and battery. Her mugshot is below.

Travis Scott’s UTOPIA show was placed on hold but he vows that it will happen. After the cancellation notice went out, Travis issued a follow-up tweet.
“Egypt at the pyramids will happen,” Travis wrote. “But due to demand and detail logistics They just need a bit a time to set lay on lands. I will keep u posted on a date which will be soon.”
Live Nation Middle East released a statement on Wednesday, citing the show is off due to “complex production issues.”
“We regret to inform you that the Utopia show, originally scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt is cancelled,” Live Nation Middle East’s statement said on Twitter. “Unfortunately, despite highest efforts, complex production issues meant that the show could not be constructed in the desert.
“We understand that this news is disappointing and not the outcome any of us desired. Refunds will be issued to all ticket holders at their point of purchase. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused and appreciate your understanding. We remain committed to bringing exceptional live performances to fans and hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.”

Previously, Travis Scott was the subject of rumors that his show in front of the pyramids in Egypt had been canceled. According to outlets in Egypt, The Egyptian Syndicate of Musical Professions, who provide permits, nixed the show.
“Since the General Syndicate is part of the fabric of this beloved country it is keen on its stability and refuses to tamper with societal values and Egyptian and Arab customs,” the statement reads.
The Syndicate added, “Based on research and documented information about strange rituals at Travis’s concerts that are inconsistent with our authentic societal values and traditions, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the license issued to hold this type of concert that contradicts the cultural identity of the Egyptian people.”
Representatives from Live Nation have responded, stating, “There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt; any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate ‘Utopia’ with you in Egypt!”
Reps for Scott also reached out to Hypebeast, denying the show was canceled.

Carlee Russell was arrested on Friday and charged with two misdemeanors for making false statements to the police. Hoover Police Department Chief Nicholas Derzis announced the arrest and charges on Friday.
“The story open wounds for families whose loved ones really were victims of kidnappings,” Derzis said. “Existing laws only allowed the charges that were filed to be filed.”
Russell was charged with two class A misdemeanors, false reporting to law enforcement authorities and falsely reporting an incident, which can be punishable by up to one year in prison.
According to ABC News, prosecutors advised police on the charges that would be filed in the Circuit Clerk of Jefferson County.
On Thursday, Carlee Russell’s kidnapping story has taken the world by storm. Earlier this week, Russell’s attorney released a statement telling what the police claimed to have known all along, Rusell lied.
According to local station WVTM 13, Hoover Police Chief Nick Derzis claims to have known the story was a hoax when they released the timeline and search history. Derzis said the police took the case as “it is what it is.”
He added, “The fact that I think last Wednesday pretty much showed that we knew that it was a hoax.”
Russell was missing for 49 hours before reappearing at her family’s home.
Carlee Russell owned up to pulling a kidnapping hoax on Monday when Russell was supposed to meet with the police. Instead, she submitted a statement through her attorney admitting none of the kidnapping stories she told was true.
Hoover Police Chief Nick Derzis read a statement from Emory Anthony read a statement from Russell on Monday:
“My client has given me permission to make the following statement on her behalf. There was no kidnapping on Thursday, July 13, 2023. My client did not see a baby on the side of the road. My client did not leave the Hoover area when she was identified as a missing person. My client did not have help in this incident, that this was a single act done by herself. My client was not with anyone or any hotel with anyone from the time she was missing. My client apologizes for her actions to this community, the volunteers who were searching for her, to the Hoover Police Department and other agencies as well as to her friends and family. We ask for your prayers for Carlee as she addresses her issues and attempts to move forward, understanding that she made a mistake in this matter. Carlee, again, asks for your forgiveness and prayers.”
Also releasing a statement was Russell’s ex-boyfriend, Thomar Latrell Simmons, who stated he was “blindsided” and “disgusted.” He wrote, “Thank you to all my family, friends, and the nation for support through this. “The severity in this matter has not been overlooked, and I deeply respect the genuine support shared during this situation.”
With the confirmation of a hoax, the question now becomes whether Russell will face charges. According to AL.com, no charges are currently lined up against Russell, but a meeting will occur between Derzis and Anthony about the case. In addition, Derzis is speaking with Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in the Bessemer Cutoff about criminal charges.
Potential charges could be false reporting to law enforcement authorities or falsely reporting an incident. There is also the possibility of a Class A misdemeanor of false reporting to law enforcement, which is punishable by up to one year in county jail or a year of labor in the county.

The eldest son of LeBron James suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday while practicing at the University of South California, a James family spokesperson revealed to ESPN. James is out of the ICU and in stable condition.
