Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Confirms Engagement To Joe Hooten: Photos

29-year-old Corinne Foxx spent much of this year by her father, Jamie Foxx’s side as he recovered from a near-fatal medical scare in the spring. Watching fake news about the man who raised her circulate online was hard for the game show host and her loved ones, but now that he’s back outside and enjoying life, she seems to be more comfortable focusing on her other relationships. As PEOPLE reports, Corinne has been publicly dating Joe Hooten since 2019, and now, she’s happy to announce their engagement with the world via Instagram.

“From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever ,” Jamie’s daughter wrote in her caption on Sunday (December 17). The couple’s engagement photos are the work of Bailey Ann Templeton, whose use of moody black and white filters couldn’t dull the shine in Corinne’s smile. We’re unsure exactly how their romance first sparked, but it was at the University of Southern California in 2018 where they met. The next fall, Foxx posted a photo of her and Hooten together at a horse stable, making their fling internet official.

While the Los Angeles native easily fell into the entertainment industry thanks to her father’s influence, Hooten also has creative talents. His Coverfly profile lists him as an award-winning write-director and television executive, currently employed by John Wells Productions. Joe is “passionate about telling emotional, provocative stories about socio-economic classism,” according to the account.

Corinne isn’t the only member of Jamie Foxx’s family who’s preparing to take her relationship to the next step. Blueface Claims Jaidyn Alexis Proposal Wasn’t To Make Chrisean Rock “Mad,” Eats Ravioli Alone

Back in October, Blueface surprised fans when he decided to take things to the next level with the mother of his first two children, Jaidyn Alexis. He proposed to the “Barbie” rapper at an LA Rams game, seemingly revealing his intentions to commit to her for the long run. During a recent conversation with Jason Lee, however, he suggested otherwise.

After news of their engagement hit the internet, Blueface’s ex Chrisean Rock almost immediately weighed in. She claimed that the rapper only proposed to Jaidyn to make her jealous, even stating that the ring was originally meant for her. Blueface denies this, claiming that instead of trying to upset her, he was simply trying to make Jaidyn happy.

“I proposed to Jaidyn to make her happy. I knew that would make her happy. So my whole objective was not to make Chrisean Rock mad but it was to make Jaidyn happy. So after I’ve done all of this and I see that she’s still not happy now I’m unhappy,” he explained. Blueface and Jaidyn recently sparked some breakup rumors after fans noticed they had wiped each other off of their Instagram pages, hinting that they might have gone their separate ways.

She also recently linked up with Chrisean, appearing on good terms with Blueface’s other off-and-on girlfriend during a livestream. It appears as though the two of them have found some common ground, joining forces to air their frustrations with the “Thotiana” performer. Unfortunately for him, this seems to have left him on his own for now, as seen in a recent clip. In the clip, Blueface is seen sadly making himself some ravioli, and eating it all alone. “This is what it’s come down to,” he says in the video, looking unimpressed by the meal.

The clip comes as somewhat of a surprise to fans, who just saw her announce that she’s gearing up to debut her “comeback candy” following some recent beef. Earlier this month, she went back and forth with Tommie Lee on social media, after Chrisean Rock allegedly punched her backup dancer in the face. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star accused Braxton of only allowing Chrisean onstage for clout, prompting her to fire back. She took aim at Tommie Lee, shedding light on her past drug use.

Only a few days after their spat, Tommie Lee attended a sporting event, joined by none other than JR. She didn’t at all attempt to hide who she was with, instead posting various clips of the two of them together on her Instagram Story. In a new clip, Blueface is seen hugging an unknown woman despite his recent engagement to the mother of his first two kids, Jaidyn Alexis. While it’s unclear who the woman in the video is, fans think that the two of them got a bit too close for comfort. With that being said, these aren’t the first cheating allegations the rapper’s been hit with as of late, so it doesn’t come as too much a surprise to followers.

Earlier this week, Chrisean Rock came forward, claiming that his proposal to Jaidyn was nothing but a “publicity stunt.” She further accused him of giving her a ring that was originally meant for her. Speculation that he was unfaithful to Jaidyn was only compounded when his own mother, Karlissa Saffold, weighed in recently.

She noted that he really didn’t say much of anything in his response to the allegations. Blueface On Proposing To Jaidyn Alexis: “It Was Nerve-Wracking… Felt Like My First Show”

Now that we saw the “Thotiana” rapper get down on one knee in front of his first baby mama, he’s more than proud to call the “Stewie” artist his “wife” for everyone to see. During a recent interview with Power 106, Blue spoke candidly about what the big moment was like for him, especially now that he’s helped Alexis become a rap diva in her own right after she failed to support him early on in his career.

“That s**t was like burning a hole in my pocket,” the 26-year-old confessed. “I showed her mom the day before… That was just more clarification to go through with it. It was definitely nerve-wracking,” Blue admitted, despite feeling confident that Alexis would say yes. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to give a speech, which knee I’m supposed to get on. Rich Paul Hints That He And Adele Are Headed Towards Engagement: “You Can Say Whatever You Want”

The top-flight sports agent, Rich Paul, is still going strong with superstar singer Adele. It was around two years ago that the two showed their interest in each other and they seem to be happier than ever. Just a few weeks ago, during one of the pop starlet’s performances in Las Vegas, a female fan wanted to propose to her. Unfortunately for her, she is apparently spoken for. Adele replied, “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight.” This was a very hilarious but stunning response and it had fans speculating if the couple tied the knot.

Rich Paul is now egging this on even further after a recent interview with CBS Mornings. According to Billboard, the founder of Klutch Sports Group, joined the show to talk about a few topics. Paul was invited on because his new memoir, Lucky Me is out now. Amazon’s description of the book says, “[Paul] looks back with wit and insight, drawing out the lessons he learned at every stage—about business, people, and the values that lead to success. It’s the inspiring story of the luck that’s all around us, if we know where to look.” Apparently Paul knew where to look when it came to choosing his person.

When asked by TMZ if they saw wedding bells in their future, Jordan said that a wedding date is “in the works.” When pressed for more details, Jordan further clarified that they had recently kickstarted the wedding arrangement process and would be selecting a date in the near future.
