Azealia Banks Shares Her Surprising Take On Drake And Kendrick Lamar’s Beef

Nobody has been embroiled in more beefs than Azealia Banks. The rapper has notably picked a number of high-profile fights and doesn’t shy away from criticizing almost anybody. Earlier this year she made Jay-Z and Beyonce her target in the wake of the announcement of COWBOY CARTER. Though the pair obviously never responded to her or acknowledged her criticisms, that didn’t stop her from continuing to make them when the album dropped and claiming it made her fall asleep.

Her beef experience could be seen as giving her a unique expertise in analyzing other people’s rivalries. So its no surprise she had comments to make about Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s recent back and forth. Surprisingly she seems to be prioritizing the catchiness and replayability of the songs more than the actual disses contained within them. She calls Drake’s song “Push-Ups” the crown jewel of all the disses and laments Kendrick’s lyrical first approach. She goes on to claim that Kendrick is “obsessed & pressed” and looking desperate in the beef. Check out everything she had to say about the beef on her Instagram story below.

Azealia Banks Is Taking Drake’s Side In The Beef

Azealia’s comments were made before Drake dropped his most recent track “The Heart Part 6.” On the song Drake reveals that he planted the story about having a secret second daughter and Kendrick bought it. That likely plays even more into Azealia’s theory that Kendrick is too obsessed with Drake dropping track after track after track.

The most recent target of Azealia’s wrath was Nicki Minaj. Banks slammed her new “FTCU” remix with Sexyy Red, Chris Brown, and Travis Scott. She claimed that Cardi B should have been on the remix version instead of Red. What do you think of Azealia Banks take on the Drave and Kendrick Lamar beef? Do you agree with her that Kendrick Lamar is taking things too seriously and should focus more on making catchier songs? Let us know in the comment section below.

Does Drake Have A Daughter? Unpacking Kendrick Lamar’s “Meet The Grahams” Allegation

The heavyweight championship of hip-hop witnessed a fiery brawl erupt earlier this year. The long-simmering tension between Drake and Kendrick Lamar finally boiled over, spilling into a lyrical warzone with diss tracks aimed squarely at each other. Kendrick’s “Meet the Grahams” wasn’t a playful jab; it was a full-fledged missile aimed at Drake’s personal life and carefully crafted image. The line that sent shockwaves through the hip-hop world? “Dear baby girl / I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world.” This cryptic verse insinuated a bombshell – that Drake allegedly has a hidden daughter he’s completely neglecting.

It was a calculated move, reminiscent of Pusha T’s brutal takedown in “The Story of Adidon,” where he exposed Drake’s then-secret son, Adonis. But Kendrick didn’t stop there. “Meet the Grahams” transformed into a full-on family roast. Kendrick addressed Drake’s entire family in a mock letter format.  He offered “advice” to Adonis, questioned the parenting of Drake’s mother and father, and finally confronted Drake himself, declaring this a “long life battle with yourself” rather than just a rap battle.

Drake and Kendrick’s war of words has generated so much buzz within hip-hop. However, just like “The Story of Adidon” before it, “Meet the Grahams” brings Drake’s reputation into question. Is the 6 God hiding another child from the world? What was his reaction to K. Dot’s lyrical jab? What does the future hold after Kendrick’s lyrical inquest? Let’s unpack “Meet the Grahams” and get answers to some nagging questions.

Drake’s Response To Daughter Questions

Drake is never one to shy away from a fight. After K. Dot’s “Meet the Grahams” made the airwaves, he took to his Instagram story with a sarcastic rebuttal. Drake wrote, “Naahhh hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me… these guys are in shambles.”  However, this playful denial only fueled the fire. Did Drake have a daughter he was hiding from the world? The internet detectives went into overdrive. A seemingly innocuous tweet from Drake in 2012 that read “Baby girl” was unearthed, leading to speculation that it was a reference to this alleged daughter. However, fans pointed out that the tweet’s date coincided with the anniversary of Aaliyah’s death, and “Baby Girl” was a common nickname for the late singer.

As the drama unfolded, Drake upped the ante. In his response track, “Heart Part 6,” he mocked Kendrick for believing a “fake mole” who fabricated the daughter story. He even playfully challenged DJ Akademiks on his podcast, claiming he would quit rapping and work for him if someone could produce proof of this hidden child. The truth, as it often does in hip-hop feuds, remains shrouded in mystery. There’s no concrete evidence to support Kendrick’s claim, but the damage might already be done. By planting the seed of doubt, Kendrick successfully tarnished Drake’s image as a responsible father, a narrative solidified by Pusha T’s earlier diss track.

Beyond The Beef: The Art Of The Diss Track

Diss tracks are a cornerstone of hip-hop culture. They are lyrical battlegrounds where rappers trade barbs, expose each other’s vulnerabilities, and leave the audience gasping for air. “Meet the Grahams” is a prime example of this art form, pushing the boundaries by aiming for deeper emotional blows. Kendrick’s accusation, true or not, struck at the core of Drake’s carefully constructed public persona. In the diss track arena, truth takes a backseat to impact. Kendrick landed a potent punch, forcing Drake to defend himself and potentially leaving a lasting mark on his reputation.

One thing’s undeniable: by raising questions about the possibility of Drake having a daughter, Kendrick Lamar’s “Meet the Grahams” ignited a firestorm of conversation. It’s exposed a potential vulnerability in Drake’s public image and reignited the age-old question of responsibility within hip-hop. And in the cutthroat world of rap battles, that’s a victory in itself.

So, What Next?

So far, the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick has produced many great moments. As the beef continues to heat up the rap scene, fans can only beg for more. The two heavyweight rappers continue to have a go at each other, throwing jabs upon jabs. Fans should expect more allegations and counter-allegations from Drake and Kendrick. Like the Drake daughter issue, it may be hard to tell if their claims are true or not. However, fans don’t mind doing the digging while their faves do the spitting.

Shawn Michael’s Has Made An Offer To Drake And Kendrick Lamar After “Sweet Chin Music” Reference

Over the past few days, Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been going at it with some intense diss recordings. In his song “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar alluded to the iconic finisher from WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, “Sweet Chin Music.” Now, Shawn Michaels is offering the two beefing rappers a chance to settle things in the ring. Shawn Michaels suggests Kendrick Lamar and Drake settle their beef in NXT. Michaels invited Drake and Kendrick to this week’s WWE NXT show via social media, even offering to mediate their ongoing dispute.

Shawn Michaels is a WWE Hall of Famer and one of the best to ever step in the ring. He is currently the head of NXT, the WWE’s developmental promotion, where they train and build up the next generation of WWE superstars. Hearing that one of the parties mentioned his signature finisher in an ongoing mega rap beef,  Shawn Michaels thought about the business first. He extended his offer hilariously on Twitter.

Shawn Michaels Wants Drake And Kendrick Lamar On NXT

Shawn Michaels wrote, “A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” he then invited Kendrick Lamar and Drake to NXT’s next show to settle their beef. Michales even said he would mediate when they hash things out. Kendrick rapped about Michaels’s finishing move on “Not Like Us.” Kendrick rapped, “Put the whole label on me, I’m a get ’em dropped, Sweet Chin Music, and I won’t pass the aux.” Although it seems improbable that Drake and Kendrick would accept Michaels’ offer, a WWE match would be an incredible and hilarious thing to see.

Shawn Michael’s is no stranger to beefing with Canadians. One of professional wrestling’s most famous rivalries and personal beefs was between Michaels and Canada’s own Brett “The Hitman” Hart. The apex of their feud occurred when Micahels lost his championship during the infamous Montreal Screwjob. Overall, Shawn Michaels knows how far beef can go, and it’s never pretty. Maybe his offer to settle it in the ring will be cleaner than continuing to drop diss tracks.

Metro Boomin Trolled Drake’s Latest Kendrick Lamar Diss With A Hilarious Chris Paul Highlight

It seems far fewer people were impressed with Drake’s latest Kendrick Lamar diss than The Boy might have hoped. After he dropped “The Heart Part 6” last night, he may have seen it as a victory lap, but fans online appeared to view it as more of a white flag of surrender after Kendrick Lamar spammed Drake with nonstop diss tracks over the course of the weekend.

Metro Boomin, who pretty much started all this in the first place after inviting Kendrick onto his and Future’s joint album We Don’t Trust You, summed up his feelings with a Chris Paul highlight. Heading over to YouTube, he took a screenshot of the video title that best suited the moment: “Chris Paul hits a huge three to cut the lead down to 42.”

For those who aren’t into sports, the analogy likens Drake emptying the clip on “The Heart Part 6” to a heroic, but ultimately futile effort in a competition in which his loss is inevitable. In basketball, being down 42 points isn’t quite an insurmountable lead, especially in the first half of a game, but it’s also basically a war of attrition in which there have historically been very few winners. Digging out of such hole requires not only impressive levels of skill and endurance but also borderline miraculous luck — i.e. “an act of God.”

Unfortunately for Drake, it doesn’t look like any deities are coming to his rescue anytime soon. Meanwhile, fans are comparing him to another NBA star thanks to Metro, pairing Kyle Lowry highlights with Metro’s “BBL Drizzy” beat

Jay Electronica Doubles Down On Taking Drake’s Side In Kendrick Lamar Beef

Last week, about 5 diss tracks ago, Jay Electroica tweeted out a track from Drake’s Certified Lover Boy. While he didn’t say anything specific the move was a clear indicator that he was taking Drake’s side in his impossible to escape rap beef with Kendrick Lamar. The spat between rap’s most popular artist and its most critically acclaimed has divided fans. The pair threw out rapid fire diss tracks and responses throughout the weekend. Though we may be approaching the end at least from Drake’s side of things, fans will likely be debating the massive amount of material both rappers dropped for weeks.

So much has happened since his last comment that fans would surely forgive Jay Electronica if he had a change of heart. But he choose instead to double down on his stance that Drake is winning in even clearer words than before. “As a qualified observer. Drake punishing these boys. I don’t care what nobody say. Don’t @ me. You’re not qualified,” part of a tweet he made over the weekend reads. He’s seemingly using his status as a rapper who has been embroiled in his beefs before to take an authoritative position on the situation. Check out his full comments below.

Jay Electronica Says Drake Is “Punishing” His Foes

The most recent diss track to be released in the beef is Drake’s “The Heart Part 6” which dropped yesterday. In the song Drake claimed that he actually planted the viral story Kendrick Lamar spread about him having a second hidden child. He also finishes the song by claiming he’s done with this specific beef and won’t be dropping anything else. That’s in stark contrast to Kendrick, who claims he still has numerous songs ready to go.

What do you think of Jay Electronica doubling down on his take that Drake is winning his beef with Kendrick Lamar? Do you think Kendrick needs to drop anymore tracks or let what he’s already released speak for itself? Let us know in the comment section below.

4batz Shuts Down Rumors Of Feud With Drake After Signing To OVO

4batz has been one of the breakout stars of music so far in 2024. His song “date @ 8” took off on TikTok earlier this year. It won over fans with its unique R&B flavor, pitched-up vocals, and music video that doesn’t really fit the tone of the song. Despite that, it’s connected with a ton of fans and it led to him signing a deal with OVO. He also released a remix of his breakout song with Drake. But now less than two months later he had to answer to a fan online suggesting that he and Drake must have had some kind of falling out.

In a tweet, a fan suggests that 4batz and Drake must have some issues. They said that because his new EP wasn’t actually distributed by OVO and while it contains a recent remix he did with Kanye West, the singer’s new project doesn’t feature his song with Drake. While it certainly seems like the fan might be onto something they probably didn’t expect for batz himself to respond. “I ain’t got no problem wit dat n*gga, I got the number 1 mixtape in the WORLD and it’s not even a album” he replied in a tweet. Though his denial of the beef hasn’t convinced many of his followers he appears to at least be avoiding the massive recent beef Drake has been involved in. Check out the response tweet he made below.

4batz Claims There’s No Drake Beef

4batz’ debut mixtape u made me a st4r dropped over the weekend. It featured the rapper’s first 8 songs alongside a pair of interludes and Kanye West’s remix of “on god? (she like).” The project notably doesn’t feature the singer’s biggest hit to date, Drake’s version of “date @ 8.”

What do you think of 4batz shutting down any rumors of a beef with Drake on the wake of his new mixtape dropping? Do you think he will stay signed to OVO going forward in his career? Let us know in the comment section below.

Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian Is Team Kendrick Lamar

The Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef have had the internet fixated for weeks now. After a weekend that included several diss tracks from both artists aimed at each other, the beef is still ongoing. Even older beefs are being brought up, especially on Drake’s side.  Drake has been involved with and beefed with a lot of different women and even their significant others. One notable fling Drake had was with Serena Williams, who, after all these years, gets stary shots here and there on Drake records. Serena William’s husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, has made it clear whose side he is on.

Serena Williams and Drake were rumored to be seeing each other in the early 2010s. The tennis icon married Ohanian in November 2017. Drake is not one to let go of someone he was involved with without mentioning them on his albums. Drake has thrown shots at Serena and her husband before. This time, there is no direct link between Alexis Ohanian and the ongoing feud, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to let things lie. The Reddit co-founder decided to lighten the mood by making fun of the Canadian rapper on multiple fronts.

Serena Williams Husband Joins In On Trolling Drake

As the beef reached its boiling point this weekend, Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, weighed in. After Kendrick’s Friday release, Ohanian tweeted the much-used Simpsons meme, “Stop, Stop! He’s already dead!” Kendrick then released “Not Like Us,” in which he mentioned Serena and warned Drake about disrespecting the tennis GOAT and Compton native. Kendrick rapped, “From Alondra down to Central, n**ga better not speak on Serena.” Ohanian has been enjoying Drake getting slandered, and it’s understandable from his perspective.

After Kendrick’s second release of the weekend, Ohanian quote tweeted his own tweet saying, “Damn. This was just yesterday?” Drake called out Ohanian in 2022, calling him a “groupie on his record “Middle of the Ocean” “Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie/He claim we don’t got a problem but/No, boo, it is, like you comin’ for sushi/We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki,” Drake rapped. Overall, Drake has a lot of people hoping for his downfall, and Serena Wiliiams’ husband is definitely one of them.

Shannon Sharpe Says Kendrick Lamar Lacks Morals For Lying On Drake

The Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud hit its apex this weekend, with both artists dropping multiple diss tracks against each other. Both rappers have made various claims about one another that have had the public talking and debating whether they are true or not. Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco talked about the beef on their late-night podcast, and they were not fans of Kendricks’s claims against Drake. Shannon Sharpe said Kendrick showed a lack of morals in his diss tracks, saying he lied about Drake’s life.

On Kendrick Lamar’s diss “Meet The Grahams,” the Compton rapper claims that Drake is hiding another child. He insinuates Drake has an 11-year-old daughter that he is not involved with on the song, among other pretty serious accusations. Social media ran with the idea that Drake was once again hiding another child. Since then, Drake has addressed the situation in “The Heart Part 6,” saying he planted the info to get Kendrick to bite. It’s difficult to see who is telling the truth and who is playing who. Shannon Sharpe and Ocho did not like Kendrick’s perceived lies about Drake at all.

Shannon Sharpe Calls Out Kendrick Lamar

Shannon Sharpe says Kendrick went too far when he called Drake out for allegedly being a pedophile. He says Drake was in a win situation because if he does respond, then the allegation is true, but if he does respond, then you are called out for giving it attention. He says when you put things on people’s names, and you have no idea if it’s true, then it’s a problem. Sharpe also asserts that Kendrick is hypocritical for being upset with his family, which was mentioned in rumors by Drake, and then turns around and says even more harmful things about Drake.

All in all, the discourse about the Drake-Kendrick feud is ongoing. The beef is getting to a stage where even fans are worn out keeping up with all the diss tracks. Shannon Sharpe’s position is that things go too far when you rap about things with no proof, which can seriously damage someone’s reputation. Overall, it would be safe to assume that we haven’t heard the last word from either rapper.

Rick Ross Reacts to Drake’s “The Heart Pt. 6”: ‘You Looking Bad’

Rick Ross Delivers Video for His "Champagne Moments" Drake Diss

Rick Ross is giving his reaction to “The Heart Pt. 6.” Hitting Instagram, Rozay spoke about the song, which features yet another jab at him.

On the song, Drake raps, “I’ll slit your throat with the razor and do Rick Ross Air like that one flight from Malaysia.” The bar is a nod tot he Malaysian Airlines flight that went mysteriously missing over the ocean.

Ross would reply by dissecting the diss, ultimately stating it was a fail.

“I just wanna make this clear, white boy,” Ross said. “You said if you was fucking young girls you’d promise you would have been arrested. Whoever wrote that for you should have put more thought into that.”

You can hear it from Rozay below.

After Kendrick Lamar took Drake’s timestamp records, The Boy returned the favor, snatching “The Heart” series for his latest track, “The Heart Pt. 6,” which addresses Kendrick Lamar.

“The Heart Part 6 out now… And we know you’re dropping 6 mins after so instead of posting my address you have a lot to address,” Drake wrote on social media.

The song is in response to “Not Like Us” and features a screenshot of an Instagram comment from Dave Free, likely shared to the page of Kendrick Lamar’s lover Whitney Alford. In the song, Drake drives home that she slept with Free and questions who really is the father of Lamar’s son.

Additionall, Drake continues to state Kendrick Lamar has committed domestic violence and he planted the information used by Lamarr in his diss. Specifically, that he has an 11-year-old daughter.

Drake also spent a large amount of the song shooting down allegations of being a pedophile:

I never been with no one under age but now
I understand why this the angle that you really mess with
Just for clarity, I feel disgusted I’m too respected
If I was fucking young girls, I promise I’d been done arrested
I’m way too famous for this shit you just suggested, but that’s not the lesson, clearly there’s a deeper message

‘It’s Always Sunny’ Fans Think They Found The Clip That Sums Up Drake’s Latest Response To Kendrick Lamar’s Diss Tracks

Forget “Espresso.” The song of the summer is “Do Not Diddle Kids.” Over the weekend, Drake released “The Heart Part 6,” his latest response to Kendrick Lamar‘s endless barrage of diss tracks. “Only f*ckin’ with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager,” he raps, a response to Lamar accusing him of being inappropriate with underage girls, including the Stranger Things actress (“Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-Minor”).

“Nah Drake” started trending on social media following the release of “The Heart Part 6,” as did a clip from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. In the season seven episode “Frank Reynolds’ Little Beauties,” Frank (Danny DeVito) asks Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), and Mac (Rob McElhenney) to help him write a song about how he does not “diddle” kids.

Frank’s proposed lyrics to “Do Not Diddle Kids”:

Do not diddle kids, it’s no good diddlin’ kids

I wouldn’t do it with anybody younger than my daughter, not little kids, gotta be big

Older than my wiiiife, older than my daughter

As Mac points out, “There is no quicker way for people to think that you are diddling kids than by writing a song about it!” A certain someone did not get the message.

“Oh my god. Drake’s response was to actually make a song about he doesn’t diddle kids. ‘The Heart Part 6’ is literally the It’s Always Sunny scene,” one X user wrote, while another added, “Drake literally pulled a Frank Reynolds.”

You can see the reactions below
