Drake Tour Tickets Detroit: Price, Availability, Sale Date

We’re a little under two months away from the launch of Drake and 21 Savage’s 2023 It’s All A Blur tour. It’s undoubtedly the most anticipated tour of the year as the two rappers hit the road in support of Her Loss. It marks Drake’s first tour since 2018’s Aubrey & The Three Migos with Migos. Within that time, he released four projects, including Certified Lover Boy and Honestly, Nevermind. Needless to say, fans can’t wait to hear some of their favorite records from Drake performed live.

Drake’s tour kicks off on June 29th, 2023 in Memphis. On July 8th and 9th, Drake and 21 Savage will host back-to-back shows at Detroit’s Little Caesar’s Arena – home to the Pistons and Red Wings. Below, we’ve broke down everything you need to know about his upcoming Memphis concert.

However, the general on-sale ticket prices went live on April 28th, 2023 on drakerelated.com. Though many of the tour dates sold out within minutes, there are tickets still available for the Detroit tour stops on Drake’s 2023 tour with 21 Savage.

As of the time of writing, tickets are currently sold out on Ticketmaster. However, they are offering seats through their Official Platinum Seat program and StubHub resellers. A few resellers listed tickets in the lower level as high as $3500, while tickets in the 200 levels can run your pockets for roughly $235.

Who Will Perform With Drake In Detroit?

21 Savage will be co-headlining the It’s All A Blur 2023 tour with Drake, so expect to see the Her Loss collaborators on stage together all summer long. However, Detroit is home to many incredible artists, so perhaps, it wouldn’t be shocking to see a few of them join Drake on stage. Though nothing has been confirmed, we suspect artists like Eminem, Tee Grizzley, and even Peezy could come out to perform on either night of the Detroit tour stop.

However, perhaps, we could catch artists like Lil Durk, Chance The Rapper, G Herbo, or even up-and-comers like PGF Nuk hit the stage as surprise guests.

Columbus is only two hours away from Cleveland, home to Machine Gun Kelly, Kid Cudi, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It’s possible that one of them could join Drake and 21 Savage on stage.

Drake will be hitting the road with 21 Savage for their co-headlining venture this year. Expect to see the Atlanta native on stage with The Boy throughout this summer. Additionally, we anticipate Project Pat will appear to perform Drake and 21 Savage’s “Knife Talk.”

Juice WRLD, XXXTentacion, Drake Are Most-Streamed Rappers

Juice WRLD, XXXTentacion, and Drake have topped the list of rappers with the most streams per song. All three artists topped 200 million streams per song on Spotify. Even with Spotify’s well-known low payout, the artists are earning quite a bit from numbers like that. Rounding out the list with just under 200 million are Travis Scott, Pop Smoke, and Kendrick Lamar, who all have upwards of 150 million streams per song. It is worth noting that both Juice and X achieved this record-breaking moment several years after they passed.

Whether or not their untimely deaths have anything to do with their streaming numbers cannot be confirmed. However, it is clear that the high number of streams per song shows just how much both Juice and X were loved by their fans. The pair were both poised to be huge names in the industry, but their lives were tragically cut short. Still, their staying power shows what an incredible impact they had in the time that they spent making music.

Juice WRLD Continues To Break Records Posthumously

Despite passing away prematurely, Juice WRLD’s music career has continued to achieve significant milestones. Just a few weeks ago, it was revealed that the rapper had exceeded 30 billion streams on Spotify alone. This established him as one of the most streamed artists ever. When you consider other platforms, it is difficult to imagine how many streams Juice has accumulated. Recently, Cole Bennet, Juice’s close friend and collaborator, celebrated a personal achievement in their careers. He announced on Instagram that the first music video he had ever directed for Juice had reached 300 million views on YouTube.

Juice WRLD’s untimely death was a tremendous loss to the music industry and the community at large. He had emerged as one of the fastest-rising stars on the scene. Since his passing, the rapper’s music has only grown in popularity. In 2021, the RIAA announced that the rapper had received 50 new gold and platinum song certifications posthumously. His 2018 single “Lucid Dreams” has been certified 9x platinum. What do you think of Juice’s place atop the most streamed rappers? Is there someone else you think should be there? Let us know in the comments!

Drake’s “Dark Lane Demo Tapes” Turns 3: Stream “Chicago Freestyle” Feat. Giveon To Celebrate

If there’s anyone who’s been feeding their fans quality work with consistency over the past few years, it’s Drake. 2022 saw the arrival of both Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss with 21 Savage, both of which will be performed on the duo’s quickly approaching (and highly-priced) It’s All A Blur tour. Before that, in 2020 he boosted the mood amid the COVID-19 pandemic with 14 new titles on Dark Lane Temo Tapes. Today (May 1), that project is celebrating its third anniversary, giving you the perfect excuse to revisit it on DSPs.

If you don’t have time to stream the nearly 50-minute-long effort, we suggest revisiting one of the most popular titles from the tracklist, “Chicago Freestyle,” which is always guaranteed to invoke plenty of emotion thanks to Giveon’s beautiful vocals. Of course, Champagne Papi also does his thing over the Noel Cadastre and Sevn Thomas-produced beat, chiefly reflecting on the most important lessons he’s learned throughout his years spent climbing to the top of the charts, and the industry.

Revisit Drake and Giveon’s “Chicago Freestyle”

Aside from that joint track, Drake also worked with several other friends on DLDT. Chris Brown came through for “Not You Too,” while he and Future made magic together on “Desires.” Other familiar voices we hear include Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, and Sosa Geek. As for solo songs, some of the 36-year-old’s highest-streamed work on this project is “Toosie Slide,” “War,” and “From Florida With Love.”

Even with all of the aforementioned releases, the father of one has been teasing even more coming our way in the near future on social media. It remains unclear when, or what, he plans to drop next, but we’ll certainly keep you posted as we find out more. Revisit Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle” featuring Giveon on YouTube above, or add the fan favourite to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. What’s your favourite title from Dark Lane Demo Tapes? Let us know in the comments, and tap back in with HNHH later this week for more streaming recommendations.

Drake Celebrates Historic Toronto Hockey Win

On April 29, the Toronto Maple Leafs edged the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in overtime to win their first-round NHL playoff series 4-2. It was a monumental achievement for the Leafs, who had not progressed past the first round of the playoffs since 2004. While the Leafs had made the playoffs every year since 2017, they were eliminated in the opening round every time. The post-2004 drought also included 7 consecutive seasons where the Leafs missed the playoffs entirely.

The city of Toronto was awash with jubilant hockey fans, celebrating the team’s win. The win was especially sweet given the Lightning eliminated the Leafs in the first round last season. Among the celebrating fans was Drake, the Toronto-born rapper and die-hard Leafs fan. Drake has never been shy about his hockey fandom. Furthermore, his OVO clothing brand has previously collabed with the Leafs.

Drake Shares Emotional Post On Instagram

A year ago, Drake posted a “goodnight Tampa” message on Instagram right before the Leafs choked a game-seven loss. Now he had reason to celebrate. Taking to his Instagram story, Drake posted a picture of a video of raucous celebrations in Toronto. He included an emoji whose eyes are welling up with tears. The rapper was not in attendance, instead performing in Chile. Drake, born October 1986, has never seen his Maple Leafs in the Stanley Cup Finals. The closest they have come in his lifetime is a 4-3 loss in the 1993 Conference Finals. The Maple Leafs will face the winner of the Bruins-Panthers series, which concludes on Sunday.

Drake recently took flak in another Toronto sports matter. When the Toronto Raptors were downed by the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Play-In. Some people blamed Drake. “That’s on Drake, really. If you don’t have Drake and if that doesn’t work the niceties of offering her things to make her stop shrieking, you get physical. You get her out,” radio host Pat Boyle said of DeMar DeRozan’s daughter. Boyle would go on to tweet “Explain yourself @Drake why weren’t you there last night? The Raptors loss is on you for not incentivizing Diar DeRozan to be quiet during free throws.”

According To Netflix, Drake Is The ‘King Of Collectibles,’ Or So Their New Series Highlights

Drake works hard but plays even harder. Over the years, the “Search & Rescue” rapper has documented his outrageously massive sports bets, his latest being on the UConn Huskies. Now the musician’s love for a good adrenaline rush is on full display in Netflix’s new series King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch.

The series follows Ken Goldin, the owner of Golden Auctions, a company focused on tracking down the rarest collectibles item, most of which are related to sports. That’s where Drake comes in. In one of the series’ episodes, Goldin hops onto to plane to Toronto to help the rap star get his hands on a rare item from his longtime friend LeBron James.

Goldin is looking for the LeBron James “Triple Logoman” card. The item contains the individual NBA logos for each team James won titles with. The catch is only one of those cards exists. So if the pair does get their hands on it, the card could be worth millions. While we won’t spoil the results of the episode, that scene is certainly worth a watch.

In an interview with the Philly Voice, Goldin ensures that their show isn’t glamorous, saying, “Everything in the show is an actual transaction. I think people will enjoy seeing how business gets done. Not everything is a success.”

King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch is available for streaming exclusively via Netflix. Find more information here.
