Joe Budden Calls Megan Thee Stallion’s Mother’s Grave Doxxing A “Nasty” PR Stunt

Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj’s feud has only continued to heat up in recent days, prompting Joe Budden to weigh in. Earlier this week, it was reported that some Nicki fans leaked the location of Meg’s mother’s grave. “You know what to do,” they urged fellow supporters, resulting in a tremendous amount of backlash online.

Fans on both sides of the beef can agree that the Tweet went too far. According to the cemetery where Meg’s mother is laid to rest, they’ve had to ramp up security amid the fallout. Budden, on the other hand, claims that there may not be any real cause for concern.

Joe Budden Seemingly Sides With Nicki Minaj

He theorizes that the reports have been pushed by a “Meg publicist somewhere,” simply for attention. “I think that’s a real nasty PR trick,” Budden describes, “I think that is real nasty.” He continued, revealing that his line of work has taught him quite a bit about the lengths people are willing to go to for publicity. “I can see through the publicists’ stories like glass,” he adds. Budden also notes that this theory is why he was unbothered by Nicki’s “Big Foot” line about Meg’s “dead mother.”

Budden certainly appears to be siding with Nicki on this one, which could be thanks to another one of his theories. Following the release of “Hiss,” Budden speculated that Meg dissed him on the song, though some fans have their doubts. “Like, I’ma give Meg a little more -– ’cause she dissed us on that s**t.” he explained. “Listen, I’ve been scraping my head all morning trying to figure out who been dancing to R. Kelly recently. And then it hit me like a bag of bricks. Well, my girl told me. That was us!” What do you think of Barbz doxxing Megan Thee Stallion’s mother’s gravesite? Charlamagne Tha God Slams Nicki Minaj Fans For Allegedly Doxxing Megan Thee Stallion’s Mother’s Gravesite

It goes without saying that the Barbz’s response to Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Hiss” has been nothing short of disastrous. Since the track dropped, they’ve been embroiled in a heated battle with Meg’s fanbase online. Nicki eventually responded with a song of her own, “Bigfoot.” Unfortunately, however, it’s done little to quiet the uproar.

Recently, some diehard Barbz even leaked the location of Megan Thee Stallion’s mother’s grave. “You know what to do,” they told fellow supporters. For obvious reasons, it was assumed that they planned to desecrate the gravesite. The post received plenty of backlash on social media, with the Hotties and also most Barbz agreeing that things had gone too far.

Charlamagne Thinks Things Have Gone Too Far

During a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God weighed in on the debacle, and he agreed. He claimed that it’s a bad move to mess with the dead, despite how upset you may be with their living family members. He also adds that they could find themselves in some serious danger at the hands of their loved ones, insisting that they use some common sense.

“Older people would tell you, don’t play with the dead,” he explained. “Ain’t no good gonna come to anybody doing stuff like that. You have cursed yourself and don’t even know it, okay? You do not play with the dead in that way, you let the deceased rest in peace. It’s all fun and games until you can’t sleep at night because you’re getting visited by those spirits you playing with.” What do you think of Barbz threatening to mess with the gravesite of Megan Thee Stallion’s mother amid her feud with Nicki Minaj? Nicki Minaj’s Father’s Cemetery Location Doxxed By Cardi B Fans

Nicki Minaj hasn’t taken her foot off the gas since hearing what Megan Thee Stallion had to say on her “HISS” diss track. Some watching are feeling concerned for the Trinidadian as she continues to rant on various social media platforms. Still, she remains determined to “get even” with her fellow femcee, sharing a hateful song of her own called “Big Foot.” To make matters worse, while Meg didn’t mention Minaj by name on her record, the latter’s latest song name-drops Thee Stallion multiple times and names others she’s previously been affiliated with.

Internet users have been picking sides over the past few days, and while Kris Jenner was happy to hear her name on “HISS,” other stars are standing behind the Queen of Rap’s “Big Foot.” Besides the new music hitting DSPs, Barbz and Hotties have been going at it online non-stop. Recently, Cardi B’s listeners, the Bardi Gang, have joined in, standing up for Thee Stallion after Minaj’s followers doxxed the location of the Houston-born artist’s mother’s grave.

At the same time, one of Cardi’s listeners appears to have shared where the late Robert Maraj’s body lies in Utica, New York. When one of the mother of one’s fans reposted the blurred out screenshot, they speculated, “Nicki Minaj will never get a sympathy article tho.”

The beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion kicked off with the release of the latter’s single, “Hiss.” On the song, Megan makes reference to Megan’s Law, which ensures sex offenders must register with the state publically. Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, is infamously a registered sex offender. “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” she raps. In response, Minaj released the diss track, “Big Foot,” on which she references Megan’s late mother. Minaj also remarked on Instagram Live that she “better go conjure up [her] mother and apologize” and that she was “lying on [her] dead mother.”

Megan’s mother died in March of 2019 due to a brain tumor. Megan’s spoken on the impact she had on her and the pain of that loss several times over the years. Be on the lookout for further updates on Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion on HotNewHipHop.

SSSniperwolf Doxxes Jacksfilms In Shocking Escalation Of YouTube Feud

YouTuber SSSniperwolf doxxed fellow content creator Jacksfilms earlier this week, posting a photo of Jack’s home to her 5.4M Instagram followers. As outrage has spread over the incident, SSSniperwolf has doubled down, claiming she doesn’t know what doxxing is and joking about what she did in subsequent posts. Jack has since stated that he no longer feels safe in his home. Meanwhile, the comments on official YouTube social media posts have been flooded with fans calling for SSSniperwolf to be banned from the platform.

The incident is a major escalation in the ongoing feud between the two large and veteran content creators. Jack has been a vocal critic of SSSniperwolf’s content, which primarily comprises TikTok compilations alongside superficial “reactions” from the YouTuber. Jack has argued that SSSniperwolf’s content does not meet the definitions of fair use, especially as she often fails to credit the original creators whose content she uses. Furthermore, Jack has gone as far as to help creators file takedown requests against SSSniperwolf’s videos. Up to this point, SSSniperwolf’s primary response has to been to label Jack as a “creep” and claim that he is “harassing” her by going after her content. YouTube, a platform on which SSSniperwolf has over 34 million followers, is yet to release a statement about the incident.

Jacksfilms Addresses Doxxing Incident

In a sobering video and a major departure from his usual jovial style, Jack addressed the incident on Saturday. He confirmed that he and his wife had spotted SSSniperwolf outside their home while also showing her initial posts and lack of remorse in follow-up posts. In one such post, SSSniperwolf and a friend posed in a pseudo thirst trap with the caption “We show up outside your house, wyd?” Jack had been streaming with some friends at the time of incident and clips of his live, and shaken reaction, has spread across sites such as TikTok.

Jack unequivocally condemned her behavior, saying that there was no action that justified her decision to come to his home unannounced and doxx him to her followers. Furthermore, Jack said that he and his wife Ella no longer felt safe in their home and called for SSSniperwolf to be deplatformed. This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

Elon Musk Frees Several Journalists From Twitter Jail After Doxxing Accusations

As has come to be the norm lately, Elon Musk is making waves with his leadership decisions over at Twitter. After making the controversial decision to suspend the accounts of a number of journalists for allegedly doxxing him, the CEO is now responding to the backlash by reinstating several of their profiles.

As TMZ reports, the South African shared a statement on Friday (December 16) after polling the app’s users to see if they thought he should unsuspend “accounts who doxxed [his] exact location in real-time.” 58.7% of the votes came in favour of the reporters getting their privileges back in real-time. The remainder (41.3%) felt as though a seven-day penalty would be fair.

“The people have spoken. Accounts that doxxed my location will have their suspensions lifted now,” Musk wrote yesterday. Among those who he banned were Donie O’Sullivan of CNN and Drew Harwell from the Washington Post.

Additionally, Matt Binder (Mashable), Ryan Mac (New York Times), and Micah Lee (The Intercept) were recipients of Musk’s punishment. The Tesla founder specifically has accused them of disclosing personal details about his whereabouts. Per TMZ, much of the information these journalists use is already publicly available.

Those accused by the 51-year-old have vehemently denied any publishing of his private info. However, they do have some theories as to why he temporarily shut down their profiles in the first place.

The journalists seem to think that Musk is taking offence to their less-than-favourable coverage of him. After he made the decision to suspend reporters, both Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff were quick to put the engineer on blast.

During an online chat that found the father of 10 meeting with those whose accounts he put on hold, it was pointed out that he’s been acting in a hypocritical manner. Previously, Elon criticized Twitter’s bosses for their suppression of the infamous Hunter Biden story.

In response to the call out, the CEO made it plain and clear, “If you dox, you get suspended. End of story, that’s it.” Afterward, he quickly left the conversation.

It seems Elon Musk is facing haters all over as of late. Just last week, he was booed by the crowd at a Dave Chappelle show. Read more about that here, and check back with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.
