Joe Budden Calls Megan Thee Stallion’s Mother’s Grave Doxxing A “Nasty” PR Stunt

Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj’s feud has only continued to heat up in recent days, prompting Joe Budden to weigh in. Earlier this week, it was reported that some Nicki fans leaked the location of Meg’s mother’s grave. “You know what to do,” they urged fellow supporters, resulting in a tremendous amount of backlash online.

Fans on both sides of the beef can agree that the Tweet went too far. According to the cemetery where Meg’s mother is laid to rest, they’ve had to ramp up security amid the fallout. Budden, on the other hand, claims that there may not be any real cause for concern.

Joe Budden Seemingly Sides With Nicki Minaj

He theorizes that the reports have been pushed by a “Meg publicist somewhere,” simply for attention. “I think that’s a real nasty PR trick,” Budden describes, “I think that is real nasty.” He continued, revealing that his line of work has taught him quite a bit about the lengths people are willing to go to for publicity. “I can see through the publicists’ stories like glass,” he adds. Budden also notes that this theory is why he was unbothered by Nicki’s “Big Foot” line about Meg’s “dead mother.”

Budden certainly appears to be siding with Nicki on this one, which could be thanks to another one of his theories. Following the release of “Hiss,” Budden speculated that Meg dissed him on the song, though some fans have their doubts. “Like, I’ma give Meg a little more -– ’cause she dissed us on that s**t.” he explained. “Listen, I’ve been scraping my head all morning trying to figure out who been dancing to R. Kelly recently. And then it hit me like a bag of bricks. Well, my girl told me. That was us!” What do you think of Barbz doxxing Megan Thee Stallion’s mother’s gravesite? What about Joe Budden theorizing that the whole thing is a PR stunt? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Ex-Kanye West Employee Claims Barefoot Pictures From Italy Are A PR Stunt

Kanye West and his partner Bianca Censori have been spotted all over Italy in recent weeks. In many of the instances, West has been seen without footwear. This has included dinner at an upscale hotel, a visit to a gelato shop, and even an ill-fated Travis Scott concert. Their barefoot escapades have even extended to a visit to a fabric factory in Prato East.

However, is there meaning to the shoeless choice? Yes, according to one former Kanye employee. Jason Lee is currently the host of Hollywood Unlocked. However, he also spent seven months working as Kanye’s Head of Media and Partnerships until he quit last October. To Lee, the barefoot trend is nothing more than a PR stunt.

“I think the fact that people are talking about Kanye’s feet shows just how much power he still has in the wake of cancel culture. He continued, “I think it’s a smart and strategic move. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next time we saw shoes on his feet it would be a project that he designed,” Lee told Page Six. This idea that Kanye is trying to prove that he is bigger than his canceling. This comes amid reports that Kanye is getting another chance on Twitter. He is also reportedly making a “fashion” comeback.

“Kanye who hasn’t rejoined the platform yet but is planning to do so will operate within the very specific policies that we have established that we’re clear on and everyone listening on Spaces can access themselves. We also have to remember what’s at the core of free expression. You might not agree with what everyone’s saying. We want to make it a healthy debate and discourse but free expression at its core will really only survive when someone you don’t agree with says something you don’t agree with… So deciding certain people are good or bad are not a universal thing,” Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino said in a statement that showed a distinct lack of understanding of the core principles of free expression.

GloRilla Claims Nicki Minaj Tweet Was Due To Hacked Account

More than a few eyebrows were raised following a tweet from GloRilla’s account. “Nicki loves me and I love her too.. She does talk too much though,” the tweet was concluded with the thinking face emoji. It came a few hours after GloRilla supported Cardi B for her Latto collab. “If cardi don’t do shit else she gone slide on a mf beat 😂😂🔥🔥🔥 go cousinnnnn @iamcardib.” The tweet has since been deleted from Glorilla’s tweet.

There is no known beef between GloRilla and Nicki. In fact, last year, GloRilla called Nicki an inspiration during a 2022 interview. However, people took GloRilla’s tweet as a direct response to a Nicki tweet from earlier in the day. “🤣😂🥴😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣😂Lookin for the hoochie daddies…,” Minaj tweeted early on June 2.

GloRilla Claims Hack

“Dem bitches can’t keep a real bitch hacked for too long !!!! Im back bitches 👅👅👅go stream lick or sum,” GloRilla tweeted late on June 2. “I was hacked,” is a common excuse for Twitter slips. However, people are on her side in this case. “That wasn’t her, it’s too much punctuation,” one commentator argued. “Y’all really think this young chick from Memphis give AF bout nicki lmaooooooo,” add another. Furthermore, some questioned the target of the tweet, “i know she was hacked but i wonder why they went after Nicki out of everybody?” questioned one observer.

However, not everyone is convinced. “This was a PR Stunt to attach her algorithm to Nicki the new ones do this constantly now she gonna have blog interviews asking her about it using Nicki and her name in the title it’s a common digital marketing strategy labels use,” one person argued. There is merit to this argument, given that Minaj is deep in promotion for “Pound Town 2”. “Isn’t it funny that these “rappers” always get hacked around the time they have new music coming .. anyway she’ll never be ice spice and that’s the underlying issue with being attention hungry,” another added.
