“Doja’s well-versed in the online chatter about her, and systematically dismantles every complaint in her Scarlet Tour set, which is presented in five acts and finds her confronting both the haters and the unhinged alter ego her latest album is titled after,” Williams wrote on November 3, following Doja’s show at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Doja Cat is her own online critic right now. On Thursday night, November 30, The Scarlet Tour rolled through Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Afterward, the multi-platinum-certified artist express frustration on her Instagram Story.
“I’m so f*ckin sorry,” Doja cat wrote atop a photo of either broken-up bread or a broken-up chip. “New Jersey I don’t know what the f*ck that was. I’m really not happy with my energy tonight.”
The night before, November 29, was an entirely different story. Doja was very happy with her show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. She posted an Instagram carousel alongside the caption, “best night award goes to brooklyn [gold medal emoji].”
There are seven remaining dates on Doja Cat’s The Scarlet Tour, with the next show scheduled for Saturday, December 2, at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It will wrap at United Center in Chicago, Illinois on December 13. See all dates here.
Fans can expect to catch Ice Spice at future shows, including stops like Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Boston’s TD Garden, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, and more large-scale venues. She will also help close out the North American leg in Chicago on December 13, making it a special run. A complete list of Doja’s upcoming tour dates can be found here.

Streaming services have become the way the majority of fans consume the music they love these days, and Spotify is the clear leader in the streaming space. That makes their tracking data significant, and fortunately, the company maintains the terrific Spotify Charts website. Their Weekly Top Songs charts can serve as a useful complement to the Billboard Hot 100 and offer further insight into what music is currently making music fans move.
Take a look at the the top 10 songs on the latest Weekly Top Songs USA chart (for the tracking week ending November 16) below. Check out the full top 200 list here, and if you’re curious about what the entire world is listening to, find the Weekly Top Songs Global chart here.
10. Taylor Swift — “Cruel Summer”
Summer (Taylor‘s Version) may finally be starting to fade away, as “Cruel Summer” looks just about ready to leave the top 10 of the Top Songs chart.
9. Tate McRae — “Greedy”
McRae’s hit peaked at No. 4 previously but it’s still bobbing around near the top of the chart, rising two spots from last week.
8. Drake — “IDGAF” Feat. Yeat
A new crop of Drake songs will presumably enter the chart next week with the release of For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition, but in the meantime, his and Yeat’s “IDGAF” is still representing in the top 10.
7. Taylor Swift — “Now That We Don’t Talk (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)”
It feels like Swift will have some sort of chart presence until the end of time, and indeed, this “From The Vault” track is one of the three songs the artist has in this week’s top 10.
Kahan had his commercial breakthrough a year ago with his third album, Stick Season. The title track is crushing it 16 months after its initial release, reaching a new peak in the top 5 this week.
Country music dominated this past summer, and while that trend has mostly dissipated, Zach Bryan is still sticking around with his hit Kacey Musgraves collaboration.
3. Mitski — “My Love Mine All Mine”
TikTok has become a regular hitmaker these days and Mitski is the latest artist to get a boost from the video platform: It’s currently No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart for a fourth week.
2. Jack Harlow — “Lovin On Me”
Following the song’s release last week, Harlow’s “Lovin On Me” is seeing some early success by claiming the silver medal on the newest Spotify chart (it’s the only song to debut in the top 10 this week). There’s more to come, too, as Harlow called the track the beginning of “a new era.”
1. Taylor Swift — “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)”
This is the third week at No. 1 for the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) highlight (and it’s the only song with at least 10 million streams in the US this week). Swift previously noted of the track, “I always saw this song as sort of a sister to ‘Out Of The Woods’ and ‘I Wish You Would.’ I kind of saw those songs as similar, so unfortunately, when we were making these decisions on what to put on 1989 and what to leave behind, I had to make some tough choices.”

Beyoncé Grants Houston An Unforgettable Night
Speaking of unforgettable tours, Beyoncé recently gave Houston a memorable night with a sold-out stadium show. The “Hou Run The World,” event featured a stunning display of drones, fireworks, and an appearance by Houston’s mayor, Sylvester Turner.
Originally Written By: Aveon Sims (9/29/23 at 1:39 pm)
It starts with Doja Cat arriving on the set of a fake late-night television show hosted by her Scarlet alter ego. Within 45 seconds, Doja jokes to Scarlet, “I want you to sh*t on my face. I know that for a fact.” Somehow, it progressively gets even more unhinged.
Doja Cat discusses shaving her eyebrows and head, but clarifies, “I don’t shave my vagina.” Next up? The controversy surrounding Doja Cat losing “a little over a million followers” across social media, which Doja Cat blames on posting “a picture of Whoopi Goldberg’s nipples on Instagram.” That leads to a question about “what type of perks come with being in The Illuminati.”
Doja doesn’t flinch, saying, “Uh, free applesauce [and] chicken wings, but I haven’t seen any lizard guys in suits. […] I want to do goat sacrifices because that’s actually pretty spooky. Also, I’d love to give a shoutout to Satan.” Naturally, Scarlet asks whether Doja Cat ever indulges in worshipping Satan. After a quick belch, Doja says, “All the time. I give my demons free cheese.”
And we’re not even halfway home, guys. The second half of the spoof includes seemingly serious commentary from Doja Cat on how she’s evolved in her writing, but just when you think she’s being serious, she lets out a huge fart after saying, “I can express myself as me, and I have never been so comfortable.”
Doja Cat has often spoken fondly about the internet and growing up online. Earlier this year she stopped by Hot Ones to discuss a myriad of topics. Among them was her own internet addiction. She discussed many of the “YouTube rabbit holes” she’s fallen in while browsing the platform. Now, she’s taking much of the surreal content she’s seen and channeling it into a new video.
In the interview, Doja herself is interviewed by herself. Well, it isn’t exactly herself, but her Scarlet character from her new album era. As the title of the video reads, Doja is there to answer some “hard-hitting” questions but all is not exactly as it seems. The video has a distinctive editing style that Doja has spoken fondly of in the past. It’s technically a “YTB” a genre of video where fans online take interview clips and edit them in surreal and comedic ways. The only difference is that it seems like Doja made the new video with that format in mind and leaned into the potential of the editing techniques. Check out the full hilarious video below.
In the comments, fans seem to find the video just as funny as Doja herself. “Seeing scarlet wearing regular clothes still covered in blood is comedy gold,” one of the top comments on the video reads. “This whole thing is hilarious. i wish she could turn this into a show cause she said she’d love to have one someday,” another agrees.
Doja Cat is currently out on tour alongside Doechii in promotion of her new album Scarlet. The pair have only been touring for a few weeks but they’re already making waves with almost every show. Sometimes that’s with new material and other times viral moments like Doja’s mic cutting out mid-song. What do you think of Doja Cat interviewing herself in the surreal new video? Let us know in the comment section below.
Ever since we got around the rollout of Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, Scarlet, she really changed in a lot of ways. Over the months leading up to the release, her posts on social media were setting her fanbase ablaze. What really set things off was an interaction on Twitter between her and a fan asking the rapper to say she loves her fans. Doja essentially replied she cannot do that because she does not really know them like that. While she does have a point, it still got her fans hot. But, if you have not been paying attention, she could not care less about how they feel.
While it was pretty much expected that the California artist was going to address all of this on Scarlet, it was still executed very well. Especially after the singles “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red,” respectively, she did it in a way that was tasteful. Even after the release, Doja is not backing down from this new outlook on her life and her career. On Sunday, November 12, she announced that she had a big message coming today. Some were upset about the teaser leading up to it, saying she was putting on blackface in the interview with herself.
It sort of turned out to be a ruse. Doja hopped on her Instagram to leave a confusing and vague message for her followers. What we could decipher from all of the “Me’s” is that she is going to continue to be herself no matter what. People can decide for themselves if they want to embrace it and continue to follow her. If they do not feel like it, then she will not be bothered in the slightest. One commenter has the same take as us, saying, “Ok so guys, I think she’s saying she’s gonna be her for a minute.” Some also had some funny reactions. One goes, “Me when I smoke weed and try to tell a story.”
What are your initial thoughts on Doja Cat’s vague message to her fans on Instagram? What did you decode from the video she provided? Are you still rocking with her new style and behavior? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Doja Cat, as well as everything else going on around the music world.
Doja Cat‘s fans are currently spiraling after the singer posted a cryptic video to her Instagram, with nothing but the caption “Out Monday.” The clip finds Doja (as her red-painted Scarlet altar-ego) interviewing the seemingly regular Doja, mirroring the style of a late-night television show.
“This might be a silly question,” Doja asks herself from the hosting desk in the skit. “Do you appreciate the people and the fans who support your music?”
The video then cuts to Doja dressed up, as she sits on the stage. A thought bubble version of herself appears right above. “I hate my fans,” she says, speaking from her inner thoughts. “My fans are dumb.” Instead of saying that out loud, she just answers, “Yeah,” as the audience cheers.
While it’s still unclear exactly what this teaser is for, Doja’s fans seem to believe that it’s likely for a new music video. Some have speculated possibly for “F*ck The Girls (FTG),” “Shutcho,” or something else entirely.
You were wrong if you thought Doja would walk back any of her past remarks. Yesterday, during The Scarlet Tour’s stop in Denver, Colorado, she doubled down on one. “C’mon cash grab,” yelled Doja to the Ball Arena crowd as they sang along to her song “Say So.”
Doja Cat performing “Say So” on the ‘Scarlet Tour’:
In a series of now-deleted posts shared on her official X (formerly Twitter) page in May, Doja confessed that she wasn’t proud of some of her past bodies of work. “‘Planet Her’ and ‘Hot Pink’ were cash-grabs, and y’all fell for it. Now, I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while y’all weep for mediocre pop,” penned the rapper.
Although those projects led her to achieve superstar status and a Grammy Award, Doja promised to stay away from pop and focus on showcasing her rap abilities. Initial supporters weren’t pleased by her statements, but ultimately it paid off.
The 50th anniversary of hip-hop has fans and musicians on high alert for glaring snubs by award ceremonies and more looking to celebrate the genre. So, today’s (November 10) 2024 Grammy Awards nomination broadcast had everyone locked in. Unfortunately, according to online communities, who are already in an uproar, the Grammys dropped the ball.
So, what are the rap Grammy nominations for 2024? Well, leading the pack with four nominations is notorious anti-Grammy rapper Drake. Behind him is Killer Mike, with three nominations, and Doja Cat, with two.
