Ice Spice has launched into superstardom over these past few months. It feels like it hasn’t even been a whole calendar year since “Munch” become a massive viral hit. Overall, Spice has done a fantastic job of managing her success. Although she could have easily fallen off immediately, she has maintained her stardom. For instance, she has gone to the Met Gala, has gotten features from massive artists, and she also largely dominates social media discourse. When you put these factors all together, it becomes clear that she is here to stay.

Additionally, Ice Spice is seen as a very attractive person that a lot of men would be interested in dating. However, the artist has largely kept her dating life under wraps. That said, one can imagine the sheer amount of thirsty DMs she gets on a daily basis. In a recent Instagram post from Our Generation Music, one of those messages was on full display. Although, for the person who sent the DM, things did not go according to plan. As it turns out, Spice stays ready when it comes to her social media.

As you can see in the post above, the DM’er started the conversation with “hey mamas.” However, that was immediately shot down as Ice Spice replied, “small ass dreads and no Nike tech.” Furthermore, the person who sent the DM was getting roasted by his friend group. He even shows that the verified Ice Spice account had sent the message. Although, you can never be so sure if this is actually real when you take today’s digital age into account. Luckily, Instagram actually has a good verification system, unlike Elon Musk’s Twitter.

In terms of this fan, he will likely recover from this. However, it probably stings to get roasted like that. Regardless, he did get a reply, which is a win in a lot of people’s books. “Chicken Shop Date” Host Amelia Dimoldenberg Recalls Drake DMing Her: Watch

Over the weekend, Drake made headlines as he was caught double-tapping and commenting on a bikini selfie from Amelia Dimoldenberg. Rather than sparking speculation about a romance between the journalist and rapper, the not-so-subtle interaction caused fans to fill with excitement over the potential of him appearing on her Chicken Shop Date series. In the past, Dimoldenberg has interviewed the likes of Central Cee, Jack Harlow, and countless others, but Drizzy is at the very top of her dream guest list. Now that he’s publicly showing love to the media personality, it’s safe to assume something is in the works between them.

Following that, a video appeared on the official @chickenshopdate TikTok account, with Dimoldenberg speaking with two friends about the time Drake slid in her DMs. “He’s like my number one person to get on the show,” she confesses in the clip. “It was maybe gonna happen… So I was at my birthday party, and then I was looking through my phone. All of a sudden, I see like, @champagnepapi.” The birthday girl was left in total shock by the message request from the 36-year-old, who thought it was a fake account at first.

The message apparently read, “Chicken Shop Date in Harrods?” In response, Dimoldenberg casually wrote back, “Let me check my schedule.” Drake got back to her “straight away,” sending over some laughing emojis. “Then we were like, messaging over the course of the week,” the blonde entertainer told her friends. “Organizing the date, I had planned a shop and went to see [it]. Got a producer, we organized security,” she recalled, stressing the amount of planning that goes into executing each one of her episodes.

When asked if she became more at ease while her conversation with Drake flowed, the 29-year-old admitted that she spent time calculating each one of her messages. “I was also like, saying way too many puns and jokes, which is really bad,” she sheepishly added. “I think I ended the message with like, ‘I hope to see you soon. God’s Plan.‘ It was just so bad. Chance The Rapper Shares DM From Bobby Caldwell

The death of Bobby Caldwell led to many tributes online, including one from Chance The Rapper. The Chicago rapper took to his Instagram page where he reacted following the news of Caldwell’s death. Chance shared a DM from Caldwell via Twitter where he personally thanked the soul singer for clearing a sample to an unreleased song. “Wow is this really u?” Chance’s DM read. Caldwell confirmed before extending his gratitude for having his music sampled. “Thanks for thinking of me. I’ll be honored if you sample my song,” he wrote. 

Chance The Rapper explained that his interaction with Bobby Caldwell is a rare one for any artist who he samples. “This never happens. I’ve never received a message from an artist thanking me for sampling their record,” Chance captioned his post. “This is a record that hasn’t even come out, and the legend himself reached out. I was so excited to meet you, I have not felt broken like this at a strangers passing in so long. You are a true legend and incredible person who I know I will see one day 🕊 RIP THE GREAT BOBBY CALDWELL.”

Chance The Rapper Reacts To Bobby Caldwell’s Death 

Caldwell passed away on Tuesday night at his home after years of battling illnesses. The “What You Won’t Do For Love” singer dealt with neuropathy and a torn tendon that prevented him from walking over the past five years. Though there hasn’t been any confirmation of his cause of death, his wife Mary said that his health issues progressed over the years and became significantly worse.

“Bobby passed away here at home. I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken,” Mary wrote on his official Twitter account. “Thanks to all of you for your many prayers over the years. He had been ‘FLOXED,’ it took his health over the last 6 years and 2 months. Rest with God, my Love,” she concluded. VVSNCE Exposes Latto DMs After Calling Her Out

Rising rapper VVSNCE continued to call Latto out after she said that she doesn’t charge female rappers for guest verses. Moreover, the “Big Energy” MC expressed a sentiment of wanting to help other women in rap succeed and giving them the proper support. After these comments came to light, the Kodak Black affiliate said that she refused to work with her. Furthermore, it seems like Latto felt pressured by Kodak to finish their collab on her debut album because she was ignoring VVSNCE’s DMs. Overall, she aired out a lot of her frustrations via an IG Story and video post.

“Everybody keep taggin’ me in this s**t, [I don’t care] ’bout no feature from her or nobody else,” she wrote. “She did do that lame s**t tho, ‘I don’t work with new female artists,’ [were] her EXACT words. That’s the real reason she was mad at Yak! She had to pay for that song on her album ‘cuz she ain’t wanna do a song with me.” Shortly after, she posted a screenshot of subsequent DMs with Latto to continue exposing her. “U coulda just asked me wassup yourself instead of believing what a n***a told u,” the 777 artist allegedly wrote.

“These exchanges didn’t come til after a situation u clearly know nun about,” she continued. “I was told to come to his party in order to clear the verse. First I said no & then they said a verse for an artist on his label of his choice & I said no. My lawyer got the proposal on paper word for word. Ion even know you.” With this testimony, it seems that her refusal to work with VVSNCE stemmed more from disagreements with Yak’s camp than anything else.

Meanwhile, VVSNCE agreed that they don’t know each other, and thus didn’t understand why Latto would expect her to contact her “like [they’re] cool.” Furthermore, she chastised her for advising her against referring with her business partner. For what it’s worth, she said that it’s within Latto’s right to turn things down, but seemed to take issue with the narrative she’s fronting on social media. “Don’t expect me to not speak my truth,” she concluded after saying that their shared home city of Atlanta makes this all the more ridiculous. The status of Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship remains in limbo. Thankfully, more details regarding last weekend’s massive blowout are now surfacing online. As you may recall, the pair began Super Bowl weekend on a high note as the singer performed for excited crowds. By Sunday (February 12), all traces of him were gone from his fiancée’s Instagram account.

Besides this obvious clue that trouble was afoot, we also saw the Transformers actress unfollow her beau. She then replaced his name with Hollywood heartthrobs like Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet, also making sure to follow MGK’s known enemy, Eminem. To add fuel to the fire, she shared a video of a burning envelope. The caption was lyrics about “dishonesty” from Beyoncé’s LEMONADE album.

Immediately, many internet sleuths began speculating that cheating was the reason for the pair’s problems. Before deleting her IG account, Fox responded to some of these claims. Specifically, ones pointing towards Kelly hooking up with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd. In the days since the gossip began circulating, the musician’s management team has spoken out in her defence.

“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue,” they told Page Six. “It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.” Lloyd may be innocent in this case, but the latest update on the engaged lovers reveals that the mother of three allegedly found troubling messages on her man’s phone last weekend.

Insiders close to the situation say that Fox uncovered “DMs and text messages.” These are leading her to “believe he has been having an affair.” No names came out along with the gossip. Still, we do know that the 36-year-old and MGK have been attending couples therapy in hopes of working through their issues. “Megan is seeing where they stand. She wants to see what they can salvage,” the industry source says.

Kelly apparently “really wants to make up” with his partner. They’ve been together since meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass back in 2020. They were engaged in January 2022. Kelly proposed with a stunning ring apparently containing thorns on the inside, causing the actress pain if she were to remove it. DDG’s sister says that she wants “all the smoke” with Rubi Rose after she shared an alleged DM implicating the rapper in a cheating scandal. Fans had noticed that Halle Bailey was wearing a shirt once worn by Rose in a post on social media. From there, Rose labeled her ex a “weirdo” for giving Bailey the shirt. She also shared DMs allegedly from DDG in which he asked Rose whether she was in Los Angeles.

“Y’all can tell @therubirose I want all the smoke…” DDG’s sister wrote on her Instagram Story. “I owe that ***** an *** whoppin anyway for that **** she pulled with my mama and sister.. ******* always wanna bully the sweet girls.”

DDG addressed the drama in a 30-minute vlog titled the WORST week of my life. In the clip, he explained that he’s taking time for himself amid “all the shenanigans going on.” “Y’all know deep down in y’all heart know I’m a good n***a. I always been positive. Stay away from negativity man this is not 2020. I’m not dealing with that shit no more. I just don’t like when people formulate opinions about me and they don’t really know me because that could be detrimental.”

He continued: “A lot of people by wondering like damn why you always be tweeting, or why you be always responding to stuff, it’s because when you don’t people come up with this narrative in they’re head about you, and to be honest in the entertainment industry you can’t be having a bad name. A lot of rumors and allegations and stuff you gotta clear up just to stop yourself from taking that type of hate and having this narrative of people just hating you for nothing. They don’t know the real. Believe it or not everything you see on the internet isn’t true.”

Rubi Rose Exposes Alleged DMs From DDG, His Reaction Caught On Livestream

DDG may be denying that his relationship with Halle Bailey is over, but Rubi Rose has receipts that prove otherwise. Earlier this weekend, the Kentucky native caused a stir online when she seemingly threw shade at the couple on Twitter. At the time, Rose markedly shared a message about an ex of hers letting his “new bitch” wear her old clothing. Internet sleuths immediately realized that The Little Mermaid actress wore an all too familiar shirt in a recent Instagram Story, quickly pointing fingers toward her and DDG.

In another post, the “He In His Feelings” hitmaker made it known that she has no direct beef with Bailey. However, she does think the Michigan native is a “weirdo,” and she didn’t hesitate to tell him so. As a result, hundreds of his fans flooded the replies with receipts proving that Rose herself isn’t exactly innocent.

Most of the drama between DDG and his former lover played out yesterday. On Sunday (February 12) afternoon, though, Rubi added more fuel to the fire with some screenshots from her DMs. The image shows alleged messages sent to her from the YouTuber’s verified account. “[You] still in LA?” he seemingly asked her on Tuesday (February 7). “Yeah,” she replied 16 minutes later.

When Bailey’s beau asked Rose what she was doing, she wrote back, “Getting ready, hbu?” Then, in another message, called him out for reaching out to her while apparently fighting with his girl. “[You] hitting me the day y’all argue is so [you] lol.” DDG wasted no time in responding, “Lol [you] right, lemme go heal first.”

After dropping the receipts, the 25-year-old continued to speak her truth on Twitter. “All boys are the same,” she sent out this afternoon. Afterward, she clapped back at a now-deleted tweet from the Epic Records artist. “[You] so f*cking sassy wtf lol,” Rubi clowned him. “He mad I wouldn’t go home with him after Caresha’s party,” she additionally explained.

Upon seeing the latter comment, DDG vehemently denied the allegations. “Superrr [cap]. N*ggas is not pressed over you.” At this point, Rose took extra measures to prove that she didn’t alter the previous screenshot. The recording artist took a video of her creeping her ex’s profile and subsequently opening the DMs from him.

Unfortunately for the “Elon Musk” hitmaker, he was in the midst of a live stream when notifications from Rubi began pouring into his phone. Someone tell RiRi to put on the gloves. Controversial actress and comedian Roseanne Barr just slid into A$AP Rocky’s DM with a devilish message. “Call me when you get tired of Rihanna,” she wrote to the New York rap star. She captioned an Instagram post about the attempt with “Shooting my shot.” Of course, all made in good fun, but it still seemed quite bizarre to many. After all, this is a (literally) canceled actress making a social media play the day of her muse’s wife’s Super Bowl halftime show. Quite funny, honestly; kind of corny and cringey, but funny nonetheless.

For those of you who don’t remember, the 70-year-old comedian faced backlash for a racist comment concerning a member of the Obama administration. Also, she spread various conspiracy theories, insensitive remarks, and aligned herself with far-right figures such as former president Trump. Since her many public statements, apologies, double-downs, and interviews during that time, she went a bit off the radar. However, she announced a comeback comedy special releasing via the Fox Nation streaming subscription service.

Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky recently spoke about how excited he is for Rihanna’s halftime performance. We doubt he’ll publicly respond to Barr anytime soon. “Oh, man.
