XXXTENTACION Fan Explains Posting Snapchat Of Late Rapper After His Death

Celebrity trials have been steadily feeding the news cycle lately. The final months of 2022 saw Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s demise play out in court, and Tory Lanez has been behind bars since December in the aftermath of his legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion. Most recently, we’re finally seeing the murder trial for XXXTENTACION, who was tragically killed in 2018, play out.

The past few weeks have brought forward plenty of interesting information. Among the headlines, we’ve seen Drake narrowly escaping a deposition as well as defense lawyers attempting to use the late rapper’s alleged cheating against him posthumously. The latter was denied last week, and during recent sessions, the topics of conversation have become more serious.

On Tuesday (February 14), Scott Barbieux gave his testimony. The young man is a fan of XXXTENTACION, and he and his ex-girlfriend happened to be shopping at RIVA Motorsports on the same day as him. They were checking out bikes when the robbery and fatal shooting of the Florida native took place before their eyes. When the criminals fled the scene, Barbieux approached the artist’s body before taking a photo and posting it on Snapchat.

During court, Prosecutor Pascale Achille spoke with the witness, asking, “Do you recall taking a photograph with your phone of Mr. Onfroy after he was shot and seated in his vehicle?” He responded yes, and when pressed for an explanation as to why Barbieux explained that he “was a big fan” and “wanted to have a photo to remember that forever.”

Before the shooting took place, he and his girlfriend crossed paths with XXX elsewhere in the motorcycle shop. At the time he asked for a photo but was denied the opportunity. After witnessing the shooting, Barbieux says he touched the father of one’s body before taking the photo. After giving him a shake, he realized that the young performer had passed on.

Achille asked the witness if he was compensated for his Snapchat upload, to which he said, “No.” Barbieux also noted that the photo was taken down immediately so it didn’t have a chance to go viral. Read more recent updates from the courthouse here, and listen to the aforementioned testimony in the video below at the 4:48:56 mark.

YSL Lil Woody Video Surfaces Of Him Snitching On YFN Lucci

YSL’s Lil Woody allegedly snitched on YFN Lucci and his crew in a recently surfaced video. Moreover, the clip sees Woody talk with presumably two lawyers, officials, or colleagues about a murder that’s apparently going to happen. Furthermore, the two interrogators struggled to get information out of him regarding his knowledge. However, many online presumed that this information led to further investigations and actions from law enforcement. Despite the ongoing court struggles of both Lucci and Thugger, it’s unclear in which case this information will land.

Not only that, but the two beefing camps faced changes and alterations thanks to the other’s involvement. For example, the court pushed back Lucci’s trial so that he could potentially testify in the YSL RICO case. “YFN Lucci’s trial was due to begin January 9, same as Young Thug’s,” Atlanta reported Goerge Chidi tweeted. “The YFN gang and RICO case is just as wide-ranging as the YSL case. The two are connected; Lucci is a witness. But Lucci’s trial date has been postponed, his attorney said Tuesday. No new court date has been set.” Still, the “Everyday We Lit” rapper’s legal team denied his participation in Thug’s case.

YSL Connections To YFN Lucci & Snitch Allegations

“And here we go,” Chidi further reported. “For clarification: Lucci is on the state’s witness list. That doesn’t mean he’s going to testify, but he could still be called. Don’t @ me with questions about snitching. I don’t care.” Moreover, he faces charges of murder and gang activity. Also, he claimed to be a stabbing victim in a plot set out by YSL to take him down. Meanwhile, this conversation around snitching in YSL usually revolves around its own members taking plea deals. However, Lil Rod’s father recently testified that the District Attorney promised him freedom if he snitched on Thugger.

“Ms. Willis went down to that jail and told my son if he—if!” he stated in a video clip. “Listen to what I say. I ain’t tellin’ you what I heard, I’m tellin’ you what I know. ‘If he say Thug gave him $10,000 to [inaudible] that boy, then we’ll let you out of jail.’” Regardless of your take, log back into HNHH for the latest on YFN Lucci, Young Thug, snitching, and YSL Woody.

Andrew Tate Threatens To Sue Alleged Victim For $300 Million For Defamation

Andrew Tate threatened to sue an alleged victim for 249 million pounds for defamation after she accused him of rape and human trafficking. Meanwhile, he and his brother are currently behind bars in Romania on related charges following a December arrest. Moreover, the woman’s U.S. lawyers claim she received a cease and desist letter from him and his brother in December. To clarify, Tate’s threatened lawsuit equals $300 million in U.S. currency. What’s more is that the two brothers allegedly threatened to involve the victim’s family in the lawsuit as well.

Furthermore, a Romanian court recently found that Tate seemingly brainwashed women who worked for him and denied any trafficking. In addition, the brothers denied all claims and filed legal action against two women in Romania last April. While this occurred before Tate’s arrest, authorities believe he tried to intimidate witnesses and prevent any revelations.

“In April 2022, you falsely stated to a third party that our Client [Andrew Tate] human trafficked you, abused you and held you against your will,” the cease and desist letter read. “You have repeated false and defamatory statements to the police, the media, and another United States citizen about the Tate brothers.” On the other hand, lawyer Benjamin Bull said his client is a key witness against Tate in this legal battle. As such, he believes this letter is an egregious attempt to silence testimonies. “They want these young ladies to climb into a hole and hide, never come forward [or] describe what they saw and what happened to them,” he stated. Bull works for the National Centre on Sexual Exploitation in the U.S. “It’s clearly an effort to intimidate.”

Meanwhile, lawyers from Tate’s team confirmed the letter’s existence, but denied any such intimidation. In other news, officials took much of Tate’s assets after raids on his Romania properties. While the six alleged victims in the case who will testify are anonymous, they received huge hatred and even death threats from Tate supporters online after their identities leaked online. Also, no one brought specific charges against the brothers yet, but they remain in preventative custody as authorities investigate. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Andrew Tate.

Donald Trump Tries To Ban Access Hollywood Tape From Rape Trial

Former president Donald Trump and his legal team tried to ban his infamous Access Hollywood tape from his rape trial. For those who don’t remember, Trump bragged about “doing whatever you want” and grabbing women “by the p***y.” Moreover, his attorneys Alina Habba and Michale Madaio requested a ban of the tape based on court papers obtained Thursday (February 16). Furthermore, they called it “irrelevant and highly prejudicial,” and that it “might unjustly be used to suggest to jurors that Trump had a propensity for sexual assault and therefore must have raped Carroll.” Also, they want references to it blocked alongside the tape itself, which surfaced when he first ran for President.

Not only are these requests questionably obfuscating trial, but the clip formed part of people’s perception of him years ago. As such, it’s hard to imagine a judge or jury ignore his words, however banned. “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful [women],” Trump told Access Hollywood host Billy Bush in 2005. “I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.”

Furthermore, the former Commander in Chief’s legal team also sought to block testimonies from two women who accused Trump of sexual misconduct. Moreover, 26 women accused him over the years, and he denied any and all claims. For this specific case, whose civil suit begins in April, writer E. Jean Carroll said Trump assaulted her in a department store in the mid-’90s. While Trump said she was lying and not his “type,” he mistook her for his ex-wife Marla Maples during an October deposition.

Meanwhile, ex-wife Ivana Trump reportedly said in a 1990 divorce deposition that Trump assaulted her the year prior. However, she later claimed that she accused him, but not in the “literal or criminal sense.” Even considering that, 26 stories risk being ignored in trial, and the court’s decision on these tape bans could make or break Trump’s accountability. Come back to HNHH for the latest news on Donald Trump and whether his trial will look at the full picture.

NFL’s Alvin Kamara Indicted For Las Vegas Assault: Report

A reported altercation that occurred in Las Vegas last year has spelled more trouble for Alvin Kamara. The incident was said to have occurred during Pro Bowl weekend outside of the celebrity favorite, Drai’s Nightclub. According to authorities, a man named Darnell Green was trying to get into an elevator when he was blocked. The Saints running back is accused of touching Greene on his chest. When Greene pushed his hand away, an alleged assault occurred.

Reports claim three other suspects joined in on an attack against Greene. Christopher Young, Percy Harris, and Cincinnati Bengals star Chris Lammons have also been named in an indictment. It’s alleged the four men punched and kicked Greene. The victim received an orbital fracture on his right eye.

PEOPLE stated a “Clark County grand jury indicted the NFL stars and two others on criminal charges of conspiracy to commit battery, and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.” In November 2022, TMZ released a surveillance video that showed that attack. However, alleged sources close to Kamara told the outlet that the clip didn’t adequately detail what led to the chaos. They claim the purported victim incited an argument and became violent first.

“Alvin Kamara has gained a well-deserved reputation for being a hard-working and community-minded individual,” said Kamara’s legal team in a statement. “The recent Las Vegas allegations are not consistent with who Mr. Kamara has shown himself to be in both his public and private life. Therefore, we are conducting our own investigation into all the circumstances and individuals associated with this matter to determine both the facts and motivations of all involved.”

Meanwhile, Greene has also filed a lawsuit against Kamara. He is seeking $10 million and claimed he didn’t fight back during the tussle. “[Kamara] chased Greene down the hall and proceeded to strike him multiple times until he was knocked to the ground,” the lawsuit shared. “At no point during the attack did Greene hit, punch, or push Kamara or any of his associates.” Kamara is scheduled to appear in court on March 2.

Danny Masterson’s Retrial For Rape Charges Moved To April

In 2017, iconic actor Danny Masterson was accused of rape by several different women. However, his arrest for these alleged crimes happened three years later in 2020. Most famous for his role in That 70s Show, Masterson was a member of the Netflix comedy show The Ranch at the time of the accusations. He was subsequently removed from the cast. In the past few years, he has had to deal with the repercussions of these accusations, and has had the help of Scientology, the church he has belonged to for a majority of his celebrity life. For the trials and court appearances he has had to participate in, Scientology’s higher-ups have supported him every step of the way.

In the first trial Masterson was a defendant for, three Jane Does hoped to have him prosecuted for raping them. The trial, which ended in Nov. 2022, concluded with a deadlocked jury and no verdict. A new retrial was scheduled for March 29, where a new jury will decide his fate. This retrial will likely see the same women who testified in the first trial return. However, throughout all this time and the first trial, Masterson has said that all of his sexual encounters with his accusers, even an ex-girlfriend, have been consensual.

Danny Masterson’s Retrial Date

On Wednesday (Feb. 15), LA Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo moved the Masterson retrial to April 11. He did so to accommodate potential witnesses. The first day of trial will see jury selection for the case. On Thursday (Feb. 16), Masterson’s pre-trial hearing took place at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in LA. Although Danny Masterson was not present, a few other celebrities were in the building. The hearing occurred simultaneously with a pre-sentencing hearing in Harvey Weinstein’s rape case down the hall, as well as Eric Weinberg’s preliminary hearing for his multiple sex crimes case.

In regards to Masterson’s retrial, sources revealed to Deadline that television cameras could be present in the courtroom. This was not the case in Masterson’s first trial. It is currently unclear how the defense and witnesses feel about this possibility, but sources said the prosecution is in favor of the idea. The group of women who first testified against Masterson in the first trial was all former Scientologists. So, there will likely be a good amount of hostility in the retrial, considering Scientology and its ethics were a big talking point the first time around.

FKA Twigs & Shia LaBeouf’s Trial Facing Delays Due To Hectic Work Schedules

Unfortunately for FKA Twigs, her love life has frequently become tabloid fodder over the years. She previously dated Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Their relationship, unfortunately, fell apart partially due to the racism she endured at the hands of the franchise’s fans. Aside from that, the time she spent romancing former child star Shia LaBeouf has also caught the public’s eye.

The pair first met in 2018 on the set of Honey Boy and found themselves falling for one another quickly. According to Femstella, the film’s creator “dramatically professed his love” just a week or two into dating. By October of that year, LaBeouf convinced Twigs to join him at his home in Los Angeles. This is when their union became abusive in nature.

Court documents allege that the Disney alumn would berate and verbally assault the English actress for hours at a time. He also reportedly trapped her in their bedroom for lengthy periods. At that time he was suffering from delusions that gang members would break into their home. LaBeouf apparently slept with a rifle by the couple’s bedside. He also forced Twigs to watch documentaries specifically focusing on murdered women.

By November 2018, the Caprisongs vocalist began her plan to escape, though in February 2019 she woke up to find her partner “violently squeezing her body and arms.” Around the same time, the 35-year-old was knowingly infected with an STD by the Holes actor, who admitted to being diagnosed a year earlier and attempting to hide his flare-ups from her. In the months after this, they finally went their separate ways, and by December 2020, Twigs filed a lawsuit.

The “killer” songstress is suing LaBeouf for sexual battery, battery assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and gross negligence. As Radar Online notes, their trial was due to begin on April 17th, though it’s now facing delays until much later this year. Most likely, we’ll see the former couple in court on November 1st or December 6th.

Lawyers for both parties provided an update to the court earlier this week. Twigs’ states that she lives out of the country and is currently “working on entertainment projects.” For her ex, the story is mostly the same as he’s been busy filming Francis Ford Coppola’s $100M epic, Megalopolis. The actor has been spotted in various feminine costumes as of late, including gold sky-high heels and sheer white dresses.

At this time, a judge has yet to sign off on the trial’s postponement, but because neither star has sat for a deposition, it’s likely the motion will be approved. While LaBeouf is hard at work on his potential industry comeback, Twigs is eagerly awaiting The Crow reboot, which finds her starring opposite Bill Skarsgård. Read all about the role she plays in that here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Tyre Nichols: All 5 Former Memphis Police Plead Not Guilty

The five former Memphis police officers charged with second degree murder for the death of Tyre Nichols all pleaded not guilty to the crime. Moreover, the court arraigned Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr., and Justin Smith on Friday morning (February 17). Furthermore, officials also charged them with aggravated assault and kidnapping. In addition, Memphis PD terminated them from their posts on January 21, shortly after the incident. Their next court date is on May 1, and the judge said the case may take some time.

“This is the beginning of the process,” Nichols’ mother RowVaughn Wells stated after the hearing. “I want each and every one of those police officers to look me in the face. They did not do that today.” Alongside attorney Ben Crump, Nichols’ family spoke to the media in a press conference following Friday’s hearing. “It’s important that we move swiftly toward justice, so we don’t want there to be any unnecessary delays in prosecuting this case,” Crump expressed. However, one of the police officer’s attorneys said that much about the case is still unclear.

“There’s a lot we don’t know,” said attorney William Casey, who represents defendant Martin. “There’s a lot that we don’t see, and we want to be able to present a complete picture of this stop, particularly the initial stop.” Not only did the police department fire these officers, but they shut down the SCORPION Unit they belonged to. “That particular night, you’re looking at an isolated incident and [trying] to measure the person.” That was defense attorney John Keith Perry, representative of former officer Bean.

Furthermore, the five officials beat Nichols at a traffic stop, who was a 29-year-old father. He passed away three days after the incident, and footage from the stop made rounds on media platforms. Also, authorities will issue a “statement of charges” to several more Memphis force members for policy violations in this case. While other law officials face repercussions for their involvement in the tragedy, most eyes are on the five defendants. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest pressing updates from the Tyre Nichols case.

R. Kelly Prosecutors Want 25 Years Of Additional Prison Time

Prosecutors in the R. Kelly trial in Chicago requested the judge to sentence him to another 25 years in prison. Moreover, federal prosecutors seek more time for convictions of child pornography and enticement last year, which could add to his New York sentence. Furthermore, the court already sentenced him to 30 years in jail. Also, another government request suggested he serve his new sentence only after he completes the 30 years. On Thursday (February 16), prosecutors told the U.S. District Court in Chicago through their motion that Kelly is “sadistic,” “a serial sexual predator,” and “poses a serious danger to society.”

Kelly covers his mouth as he speaks to members of his entourage as he arrives at the Leighton Criminal Courts Building for a hearing on June 26, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Kelly is facing several counts of aggravated sexual abuse. (Photo by Scott Olson/Getty Images)

“The only way to ensure Kelly does not reoffend is to impose a sentence that will keep him in prison for the rest of his life,” the 37-page government filing maintained. The singer’s sentencing for his Chicago trial is due next week. However, his lawyer Jennifer Bonjean pushed back against these new requests in a filing last week out of concern for his life. “Kelly would have to defy all statistical odds to make it out of prison alive,” she said. Furthermore, she recommended a sentence of 10 years that he could serve in tandem with his New York sentence.

Previosly, Bonjean claimed that Kelly faced unjust scrutiny and treatment in comparison to similarly charged white musicians. “None have been prosecuted and none will die in prison,” she expressed. Despite these arguments, the prosecution pushed for a long sentence that adds to his existing time, not one that stands within it. Still, they acknowledged but justified that a 25-year sentence goes beyond recommended sentencing guidelines.

“A consecutive sentence is eminently reasonable given the egregiousness of Kelly’s conduct,” their filing stated. “Kelly’s sexual abuse of minors was intentional and prolific.” Meanwhile, this decision rests on Chicago Judge Harry Leinenweber. While the artist’s legal team sought to appeal both cases, they also described him as a damaged, abused, and trauma-struck individual. Regardless, his actions caused his financial collapse and in one of the most high-profile cases of celebrity accountability. Log back into HNHH for the latest court updates and more news on R. Kelly.
