Jonathan Majors’ Next Court Date Revealed, Motion To Dismiss Still In Limbo

Jonathan Majors went through quite the rollercoaster recently when it comes to his domestic violence case. Moreover, the court delayed the next crucial hearing in the misdemeanor assault trial to October 25 in New York, according to Deadline. This update came amid his and his legal team’s motion to dismiss the trial and their efforts to put the ordeal behind them. However, the District Attorney’s office still hasn’t responded to this plea as of writing this article, and have until October 6 to do so. Then, the defense must respond by October 13 to further determine the state that this case will progress in.

Furthermore, the case will either move forward in formal court or dismissed to the whims of the court of public opinion. In that case, though, it seems like Jonathan Majors actually might start flipping the narrative around thanks to two arguing teenage women at an In-N-Out. A video recently surfaced of the actor breaking up a fight between the two, which received skeptical claims of it being a publicity stunt. Whethe fabricated or not, it certainly helped Majors get somewhat positive attention in the media.

Jonathan Majors To Return To Court On October 25

Discussion around this case is murky, with allegations and accusations thrown at both sides by each other- and everyone else. Still, apart from regular folks, Jonathan Majors nabbed defenses from his friends in Hollywood for better or worse, including Marvel co-star Anthony Mackie. “We’re a country that was built on ‘everyone is innocent until proven guilty,’” he remarked to Inverse back in June. “That’s one of the staples of this country. Nothing has been proven about this dude. Nothing. So everyone is innocent until proven guilty. That’s all I can say. It’s cr*zy where we are as a society. But as a country, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”

Meanwhile, many believe that this public celebrity timeline takes the focus away from the actual severity of the case. For as many people that came forward to stick up for the 34-year-old, there were many from his past that denounced him. Either way, it’s not up to anyone to evaluate or examine but the court now, and their decisions leading up to and after October 25 will determine its course. Tory Lanez Reportedly Called Meghann Cuniff A “Googly Eyed B*tch” In Court

Tory Lanez appeared in court today, seeking release on bail following his recent prison sentence. He was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in 2020, and sentenced to 10 years behind bars last month. Unfortunately for Lanez, the court denied his motion, meaning he’ll continue to appeal his case from prison.

As expected, journalist Meghann Cuniff was in the courtroom, and Tory Lanez reportedly had some choice words for her. She’s been documenting the intricacies of his case for some time, and has been called out by the performer before for “fake” and “biased” reporting. “I didn’t hear it and I’m still working to see if transcript has it, but I’ve confirmed Tory Lanez chose to use his final courtroom moments to profanely insult me,” Cuniff wrote on Twitter.

Tory Lanez Disses Journalist In Court

“Calling me ‘a googly eyed b*tch’ as he looked at gallery,” she continued. “Conflicting reports on whether he named me. A fitting end,” Cuniff added. Clearly, Lanez feels some type of way about the journalist and her reports on his legal troubles. He also put her on blast in an Instagram Story in July, claiming that nobody should take her reporting seriously.

“With all due respect,” his story began. “Please disregard anything Megan Cuniff reports on Tory Lanez. Her objective, perspective/narrative has always been negative and extremely biased towards him. If there is an update on Tory it will come from this page. If it doesn’t come from this page, it’s not real. With love – The Umbrella.” Luckily, Cuniff didn’t appear to take the insult to heart, responding with a simple Tweet. “Wish he’d @’d me or at least spelled my name correctly,” she wrote alongside a crying emoji. Do you think the reported diss was uncalled for? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Tory Lanez.

Young Thug Helping His Lawyer In Court During Hearing: Watch

Young Thug and YSL’s RICO case is still hanging in an odd limbo state, but that’s not letting the defense team get their spirits down. Moreover, a video recently emerged online of Thugger helping his lawyer Brian Steel with proceedings during a court hearing. Specifically, it seems like Steel enlisted the Atlanta trap pioneer to help him take some notes down, as he put pen to paper when the judge clarified some numbers. It may be a very small and, for many, meaningless task, but it’s not every day you see defendants being an active part of the courtroom process. At best, it serves as a heartening symbol for both Thug and Steel working their hardest to make their case together.

Furthermore, both have done everything they can to both move this trial forward and get the freedom they seek. The last update on this case was the defense team moving to exclude evidence of alleged goat sacrifices from the trial. Of course, this was a bizarre and concerning development, if only because of the dark and mysterious nature of the act and its ludicrousness when said out loud. Regardless, it’s similar to other motions to dismiss artifacts, statements, and other pieces of evidence that could paint Young Thug and YSL in a negative light in ways that don’t relate to the indicted charges.

Young Thug Takes Notes During Hearing

Unfortunately, many of these efforts have not worked out in their favor. The BUSINESS IS BUSINESS MC saw multiple denials of bond, the most recent of which came after a hospital scare. With jury selection still underway amid multiple delays, it could be a long time before the trial actually gets up and running. Despite the suggestion that the developments right now are moot, there’s been no shortage of wild and consequential layers added to this story.

Meanwhile, fans still appreciate any chance to see Jeffery throughout all this. Sometimes, he looks distraught, whereas on other days like this note-taking instance, he seems to keep his head up through it all. All fans can hope for is that his health is much better now, and that this long wait doesn’t take a tougher toll on him. Kodak Black Enjoys Italy Vacation While His Lawyer Goes To Court Hearing

Kodak Black is no stranger to legal trouble, and it seems like that experience has numbed him to the court setting. Moreover, his attorney Bradford Cohen recently attended a status hearing in on the Florida rapper’s drug case in Broward County according to a Local10.com report from Friday (August 11). While the court did not require Yak to attend physically, Cohen still let them know of his whereabouts during his time at the hearing. Apparently, Kodak was “enjoying himself” on a boat in Italy, specifically Capri. Considering how much this particular case has lasted, it’s understandable that he would want some space to breathe, as much as that process has been mostly his doing.

Furthermore, the hearing relates to a June arrest for failing to submit a drug test, which was part of his pretrial release terms. Authorities initially arrested Kodak Black back in July of 2022 for oxycodone trafficking, controlled substance possession, and expired driver’s license and tags. After this run-in, they released him on $75,000 bond, and officials issued a warrant for his arrest in February for failing to submit the drug test. Eventually they caught him in June for similar charges, and released him on $175,000 bond.

In addition, the judge in this case allowed for the 26-year-old to spend 30 days in a rehab facility to work on his struggles. Even though Kodak Black is assumedly having a great time overseas, this comes shortly after many fans voiced concern for his health and sent him well-wishes following a scary scenario. The Pistolz & Pearlz MC was reportedly stretchered into a hospital, based on a video on social media that seems to depict him entering the premises. It seems like things got better quickly, so hopefully Kodak is enjoying the best health possible during his trip.

Meanwhile, it’s unclear exactly how much longer he will have to reckon with these legal roadblocks. Whether it’s release term renegotiations or actually following up on these, there will likely be more updates in this case soon. After all, one would think that he would go to court as a final goodbye if it was wrapping up soon. On that note, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kodak Black.

6ix9ine Arrested In Florida For No-Show In Court Amid Massive Credit Card Debt

It seems like not even jail time is enough to scare 6ix9ine into paying his six-figure credit card debt to American Express. Moreover, according to Page Six, authorities recently arrested the rapper in Florida’s Palm Beach County on Wednesday (August 9) for failing to appear in court. Unless this is an entirely different case unknown to the public, you might’ve heard of this development in relation to his credit card debts. Just yesterday as of writing this article (August 9), American Express reportedly sent out subpoenas to begin taking money from his other bank accounts to pay for the near-$120K unpaid fees. It’s still unclear how much this will actually affect his finances or if he will try to reach some sort of deal.

Furthermore, failure to show up in court when summoned can result in either imprisonment or fines, according to West Palm Beach Defense. How much these payments or jail stays are depends on the judge in the case, the severity of the crimes in their eyes, and what the case is about. With that in mind, apparently 6ix9ine got off pretty easy with this recent arrest, and perhaps his legal future over his debts will be similar. After all, the New York MC was only in custody for about three hours before posting a $2,000 bond and being free again.

Of course, the rainbow-haired provocateur is no stranger to legal trouble or court cases. Also this week, a tattoo artist named Takashi Matsuba sued him for defamatory comments. It’s ironic because 6ix9ine (also known as Tekashi) said that the ink artist is the inspiration for his rap name. However, the 27-year-old also claimed Matsuba was addicted to heroin in the past, which he claimed in his suit to have negatively impacted his business.

“I lost a number of friends, but by far the most important one is my dear wife,” Matsuba’s lawsuit read. “We divorced last year, because she no longer trusted me after Hernandez’s false statements about me were broadcast on Hulu and Showtime.” We’ll see which case ends up being more impactful on the “Shaka Laka” singer. Druski Says He Will Represent Kai Cenat In Court After New York Giveaway Arrest

Kai Cenat recently tried to hold a giveaway in Union Square in New York City, gifting hopeful fans video game consoles and much more. However, it didn’t work out very well, as violence and chaos ensued that overwhelmed the New York Police Department. Moreover, they took the streaming giant into custody, although many reports suggested that this was a straight-up arrest. Now, with more information and context emerging around this incident, the future looks quite odd for Cenat, as it’s unclear how accountable he will be for this riot-like event. At least he’s got legal representation from the head of Coulda Been Records, as Druski recently claimed (or joked) that he will represent Kai in court.

“I will be representing Kai Cenat in court…” Druski wrote on his Twitter page above a picture of him in a tan suit. “He is in good hands.” Not only that, but the social media and comedy star also posted a funny video of him seemingly taking to Cenat on the phone. From what it indicates, maybe the Twitch streamer should look elsewhere for legal advice. “Aye, uh, we got good and bad news,” Druski told him. “Good news: we got your payment, buddy. Bad news: they gave you life. Sayonara,” he says with a chuckle as he hangs up on him.

Druski & Kai Cenat Might Meet In An Unlikely Way

Jokes aside, it looks like Kai Cenat will actually need that help in court. Furthermore, NYPD announced that they do have plans to formally charge him for the giveaway event and the danger and damage that it inadvertently caused. Specifically, an officer named at least two counts of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly, and said that there will be a few more charges in addition to that. What’s more is that Cenat apparently did not inform authorities of this plan to work something out beforehand or seek a permit for this.

Of course, people are debating whether this is deserved or purely to make an example out of him. In either case, it’s still quite early in the process to tell for sure. For now, we just have to stay posted on the Coulda Been Law Firm and hope that the streamer can surpass or atone for this with grace and righteousness. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Druski and Kai Cenat.

Jonathan Majors Trial Delayed To Next Month

Back in March, many were shocked to hear the news that Jonathan Majors has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman. That woman was his girlfriend and the arrest ultimately resulted in assault and harassment charges. In the wake of the news Majors was dropped from multiple ongoing projects and even reportedly recast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since then Majors has begun dating Meagan Good and the pair have made a number of appearances together both in public and in court.

Fans have been hostile towards Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good ever since they began dating. As they were repeatedly spotted shopping and having dinner at various places around LA, fan backlash towards both of them grew. That became even more pronounced when Meagan Good began attending court alongside Majors during the early processes of his trial. She has continued to appear in court alongside him and was there yesterday, when the trial was set to begin. Now, according to The Shade Room that date has been pushed back. The new trial date is set for September 6th.

Jonathan Majors New Trial Date

Unsurprisingly, fans had a lot to say about the pair following their most recent public appearance. The top comments under The Shade Room‘s post echoes long-standing sentiments. “This whole relationship is just further proof Hollywood will date anyone just to make their IMAGE look good. He’ll hop on the next yt girl after this case is over.” Another comment takes aim at Meagan Good directly. “Imagine leaving your good clean husband to go support a man you just started dating in court for allegedly domestic violence you can’t make this sh*t up.”

In the wake of Majors’s arrest allegations began to emerge from his past. Alleged behavior dating as far back as his time at Yale hit the media back in June. Majors had denied all of the allegations made against him. Last month What do you think of Meagan Good continuing to attend court alongside Jonathan Majors? Let us know in the comment section below.

Trey Songz Wants Sexual Assault Case Thrown Out Amid Claims Of Bribery

Trey Songz currently faces a mountain of accusations of sexual assault and other problematic behavior. However, based on court documents reported by Radar Online, it seems like the R&B singer wants them entirely dismissed by the court. Moreover, the alleged victim of a 2021 assault at a Miami club, Jauhara Jeffries, claimed that he tried to pay her $200K to lie about it. What’s more is that Songz apparently has another witness to the alleged incident that tells a different story. Mariah Thielen accused Jeffries’ lawyer of offering her between $100K to $200K to lie in order to “paint him as the next R. Kelly.”

Furthermore, Thielen also claimed that Jeffries tried to record Trey Songz at the location where the assault allegedly occurred. After he asked her to stop and she didn’t comply, he reportedly had security escort her away. Regardless, $20 million are on the line for the Virginia native, or at least that’s what Jeffries is suing him for. In addition, she stated that she initially became acquainted with Songz back in 2018 during a party at Diddy’s house.

Meanwhile, other legal trouble recently re-sprouted for the 38-year-old after another victim sued him again following a failed case. “Jane Doe” alleged that Trey Songz grabbed her breast and exposed her at a party, and wants $10 million in damages. What’s more is that the suit also names Kevin Liles and the two’s respective labels (300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records). “In what appeared to be an attempt to further terrify and humiliate [the woman], [Trey Songz] followed the assault with a degrading chant, ‘Titty in the open, titty in the open,” court documents maintained.

“Entities such as Atlantic Records and key executives like Kevin Liles must reassess their obligations toward ensuring the safety and dignity of everyone at any event associated with their artists,” George Vrabeck, the accuser’s lawyer, told Rolling Stone. “My client demands transparency, accountability, and a prioritization of safety over profits.” Amid all this, Songz has denied any and all wrongdoing, so we’ll see how this pans out in the courtroom. On that note, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Trey Songz.

Jury In YNW Melly Trial Prohibited From Viewing Alleged Murder Vehicle

YNW Melly has been on trial for nearly a month, accused of murdering two of his friends. The young men, YNW Juvy and YNW SakChaser, were killed in 2018. Allegedly, Melly, the two victims, and another associate YNW Bortlen, were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting. Bortlen’s trial is scheduled to begin on October 2 of this year. According to surveillance footage shown to jurors in court, Bortlen brought the two men to the hospital following the shooting. Sadly, it was too late. Melly claims they were victims of a drive-by shooting, however, investigators have provided evidence that appears to support otherwise. If convicted, Melly will be facing the death penalty.

In court today (July 7), Judge John Murphy denied prosecutors’ motion to allow jurors to see the vehicle where the alleged murders took place. “I don’t think it’s gonna assist the jury in any great degree in analyzing the evidence,” the judge told the prosecution, “So, respectfully, the motion is denied.”

YNW Melly’s Trial Continues

On June 28, detective Sgt. Christopher Williams testified in court, claiming that the “angles” and trajectory of the victims’ bullet wounds weren’t consistent with a drive-by shooting. “The shooting happened from somebody inside the car,” he stated. According to reports, however, none of Melly’s DNA was found in the jeep where the men were killed. Investigators also didn’t find gun powder residue on Melly’s hands the night of the incident.

YNW Melly has been behind bars in Florida since 2019 for the alleged double murder. The 24-year-old rapper has had a major spike in monthly Spotify listeners since his trial began last month. According to Bryson “Boom” Paul, his streaming numbers have continued to climb. Paul reported earlier this week that he now has 11,906,390 monthly listeners, a 5.4% increase from the week before. The trial has been pretty controversial, with ongoing chatter online about his lawyer Raven Liberty, prosecutors playing his music in the courtroom, and more.
