Chrisean Rock Encourages Fans To Say “Free Blueface” At Recent Show, Leaving People Confused

Chrisean Rock and Blueface will forever be linked to each other in some shape or form, we are convinced. The “Thotiana” rapper was arrested again for violating his parole stipulations about 10 days ago. Moments after that, he put out a short tape Free Blueface. It was an interesting way to bring attention to the situation. Nonetheless, it is not going to speed up the process of his release. AllHipHop reports that he is supposed to remain at the Men’s Central Jail in L.A. up until July 2.

Confusingly, this left Chrisean Rock in a heap of emotion. She expressed herself on Twitter, saying, “Damn ” Additionally, she tweeted “” It seems she is still reeling from the news and she is looking to send her support in any way she can. Not surprisingly, fans do not understand the reasoning behind Chrisean’s continued actions to keep him in her life. Yo Gotti Makes 1st Public Appearance Since Big Jook’s Murder

Yo Gotti made his first public appearance since the death of his brother, Big Jook, on Friday night in Detroit at 42 Dugg’s concert at Little Caesars Arena. On stage, he appeared to be wearing a bulletproof vest under his shirt. Clips of the performance are circulating on social media. Jook was shot and killed outside a Memphis restaurant, last weekend.

When DJ Akademiks shared a clip of Gotti’s appearance, many fans were surprised to see him back to work this quickly. “N***a just buried 2 of his family members and out here on stage I know n****s grieve differently but wtf,” one user wrote. Another complained about people being insensitive about the situation in the face of tragedy. “I cant believe people so insensitive in the comments like they really know these famous people like he died in front of his family have some respect karma spend the bend for us all,” they commented.

Rick Ross also called for an end to gun violence in a message on social media. “I flew out of Houston 3 a.m., got back to Miami,” Ross said. “I’m headed to an event titled 5,000 Role Models where we acknowledging the young leaders, the young kings, our young brothers. We gotta empower the brothers. And while I’m speaking on this, our brothers in Memphis: I need y’all to know there’s only one way to wisdom and wealth, and that’s through each other. You understand? 42 Dugg Invites Lil Baby, GloRilla, Jeezy & More To Homecoming Concert: Watch

42 Dugg is finally back home in Detroit after a year-long prison stint, and the last few months saw him reconnect with his family, loved ones, the game, and his overall career. Moreover, on Friday night (January 19), he held his homecoming concert the D’s Little Caesars Arena, and brought out a lot of special guests to join him onstage. These include Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Yo Gotti, GloRilla, Lil Durk, the one and only Jeezy, and reportedly many more. Overall, it seemed like an electric performance that 42 thoroughly enjoyed, and an experience that he surely missed for a long time.

Furthermore, it’s been very fulfilling to see him spend time with his peers in the rap game and once again form part of the current conversation. For example, 42 Dugg recently dropped the J. Cole-endorsed single “SpinDatBac,” which was apparently the result of a studio session that the two had in which the Dreamville boss expressed particular praise for this cut. As such, it would be amazing to see what other genre and stylistic crossovers he could engage in over the next few months, or years even. After all, the Michigan native is still a leader of his scene despite his brief departure, and his flow and delivery is too unique to leave to the wayside.

However, not everything has been perfect when it comes to his renewed relationship with other rappers, reports indicate. Wack 100 recently made claims about an altercation between 42 Dugg and Offset that prompted some bad blood between the two. Not only that, but the music executive also alleged that this caused ‘Set’s bonds with Lil Baby to sour as well. Whether or not there’s any truth to this speculation of feuds between these spitters, it seems like this alleged confrontation doesn’t have much truth behind in.

Chuck D Defends Madonna & Labels Criticism Over Her Performances “Ageism”

Chuck D came to the defense of Madonna on Twitter, last week, amid criticism of her The Celebration Tour. In doing so, he labeled the attacks against her examples of “ageism” and compared it to “racism.” The 63-year-old Public Enemy rapper explained that the singer has “some hard songs” in her catalog.

“At 63 i know i can bike better than i ever did and Pilates aint easy but i give it to @Madonna for pushing the bars,” he wrote. “@FlavorFlav is taking Pilates too and hes 64. So ageism sometimes gets like racism both ways if you let it. For anyone over 50 the rule is either you do the songs or the songs do you. @Madonna has some hard songs to perform in her catalogue.”

Quavo appeared on Thug’s album released earlier this year and has repeatedly called for Thug’s release. Quavo celebrated the fan’s shirt before letting him go back into the crowd.

Quavo continues to be seen out and about following his very public split from Cardi B. While they did briefly reunite for Christmas, the pair are very much going separate ways. Things appear to have brewing for a while, but really exploded right before Christmas. “He likes to play games with me. He knows that I’m at my house because he knows I am not doing my most. However, Quavo has been making a wave of big appearances as of late. He made a surprise appearance at Unruly Fest in Jamaica, stepping out with Popcaan for the latter’s set. The crowd was understandably overjoyed to see the former Migos rapper step out. However, not everyone was a fan of the appearance. “American artists always go to Jamaica and dress like it’s Independence Day , but big up unnu self ,” one person said on Instagram.

However, things got a little too unruly at Unruly Fest as the cops pulled the plug on the festival early, citing safety concerns. According to senior police officers, they had let the show run on a hour longer than the festival’s permit. However, Popcaan, who also organizes Unruly Fest, had some harsh words for the cops. In a statement about the abrupt shut down, Popcaan said that things like shut were the reason that St. Thomas “couldn’t do better”.

Of course, for Yung Miami, the topic of relationships within the rap industry is a pretty contentious one these days. While Yung Miami is trying to stay balanced amid this drama, Lil Baby is apparently hard at work on his next album. He recently said that he’s “finishing it up,” so fans should expect a drop sometime in 2024, whether in its first quarter or for the summer. While It’s Only Me was by no means the “350” spitter’s most beloved project, he hasn’t lost his potential for hits, introspection, and cutting flows. Who knows, maybe his Miami label mate will inspire him to work in more club bangers into his sound.

SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and several other Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) artists performed at the label’s 10th annual Christmas concert at the Nickerson Gardens Housing Project in Watts, California on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jay Rock, who grew up at Nickerson Gardens, served as the host for the two-day event. Watts previously honored him with a key to the city back in 2019.

“I grew up here and for people to see us come back and give back, it’s a blessing,” Jay Rock said in a statement. “I was one of these kids out here too. This lets them know that they can do this too. If there’s a kid out there trying to strive for something great, it’s motivation that no matter where you come from, you can make it out if you stay dedicated.”

For SZA, the performance comes as she continues to prepare for the release of her next effort, Lana. While the project initially began as a traditional deluxe version of her 2022 album, SOS, SZA admitted to Variety back in November that it was starting to feel more like its own full project. “It became more than I thought. It was gonna be something really soft because I had made all my screaming points [on ‘SOS’], and I just wanted to glide and not think [too much], and just get out of my own head. I was so happy to say some shit that didn’t mean a fucking thing. But now it’s definitely turning it into its own album. I guess I could drop another album randomly, because no one’s actually expecting that from me right now,” she told the outlet.
