Keith Lee Reflects On Tense Encounter With Troll Who Called Him DDG

Recently, Keith Lee sat down with Shannon Sharpe for an episode of his Club Shay Shay podcast. As expected, the TikTok food critic made several interesting revelations, including one about an uncomfortable run-in with a troll in real life. Back in July, he was walking with his team when internet prankster Gerald Huston ran up to him and began calling him DDG, suggesting that the two of them look alike.

At the time, he told Huston to stop and was restrained by a nearby member of his entourage. When asked about the incident, Lee explained why he got so upset. According to him, it wasn’t the comparison to DDG that rubbed him the wrong way, but rather the fact that Huston touched him. “It turned into like a fiasco of us actually getting into it,” he recalled. “I wanted to make it clear because yeah, I’ve never spoke on it. I didn’t have no problem with Gerald, Gerald grabbed me. He walked up the thing and he grabbed my waist, and I was like ‘Ay, don’t do that.’”

Keith Lee Says He Doesn’t Like To Be Touched, Didn’t Mind DDG Comparison

“It’s a difference between him saying ‘Oh, you’re DDG.’ I’m the type to laugh about that, I don’t care about people trolling,” he continued. Lee went on, revealing that he and DDG had just met recently and that his family thought the two of them looked alike too. “I just don’t like being touched,” he said. “So I wanted to make that very clear… If you’re trolling you’re trolling, I get that, I just don’t like being touched.” Lee also added that his aversion to being touched by strangers could come from his MMA career, anxiety, or simply being in an overwhelming environment.

Lee’s latest revelation comes just a few weeks after his review of a sushi establishment resulted in it shutting down. During his review, fans noticed that something appeared to move, and quickly theorized that it was a worm. This remains unconfirmed.

Wiz Khalifa Throws Some Shade At Drake For His “Not Like Us” Petitions

It’s no secret how most of the hip-hop world and fans alike are feeling about Drake right now. It really is a “20 V 1,” as almost everyone is completely against him for filing two pre-action petitions. They both involve UMG, as well as Spotify and iHeartRadio, and he’s accusing them of artificially boosting play of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Most of the damage is looking to be done to UMG though, as Drake is also accusing them of defamation for allowing the diss track to drop. As you all are aware by now, Lamar throws some pedophilic allegations his way on it.

After filing the first petition to New York and the other to Texas last month, there are now hearing dates for both. According to XXL, his court date involving Spotify and UMG will take place next year on January 16 at the New York Supreme Court. As for the defamation issue, that hearing date is much sooner. In fact, it’s coming up on December 19. It’s worth noting that none of these have gone to the extent of a lawsuit just yet, as Drake and his legal reps are still trying to gather more information to back his claims.

Wiz Khalifa Gets Fans To Laugh At His Sly Drake Diss

Regardless of how you want to classify them, though, the response to them has been not so nice, as we said. Most of the attention has shifted to Jay-Z’s recent allegations as of late, but the topic is still very much a hot one. So, it comes as no surprise that Shannon Sharpe recently spoke about it on his Club Shay Shay platform. He did so with Wiz Khalifa, his latest guest on the show.

Overall, he’s not shocked that Drake would do such a thing. In interview, he recognizes that he’s a musician and a businessman, and a smart one at that. He especially feels that way in terms of the latter, saying, “If he’s not in the public eye winning musically, he’s going to get a win wherever he can. I mean it’s just the smart thing to do… [Drake] is playing it exactly how he’s supposed to.” However, people are clipping one part of that conversation and running with it. They are of the belief that Wiz Khalifa actually disses Drake instead. It happens when Sharpe asks if Wiz believes he took it to far by suing Lamar. To that, he said, “Nah it sound like a Drake move to me.” You can take it how you want, but we disagree slightly.

Amanda Seales Blasts Haters Questioning Negative Shannon Sharpe Experience

Earlier this year, Amanda Seales sat down with Shannon Sharpe for an interview on his Club Shay Shay podcast. Unsurprisingly, the interview quickly made waves online. Almost immediately, fans called Sharpe out for his behavior during the interview. They accused him of downplaying Seales’ experiences with racism and more. She even went on to put him on blast for questioning her autism diagnosis.

“Shannon: But have you been clinically diagnosed? Me: Yes. There is a clinical diagnosis for Autism. He then hung his head and exhaled in frustration because I did not answer his question,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I was not going to be pressured by this man who was interrogating me with absolutely zero love for me into proving something to him that L. By his line of questioning, he had already committed to undermining.” Now, Seales is opening up about the interview once again, and firing back at those dismissing the negative experience she had.

“You didn’t see the whole interview,” she began on live. “They cut out portions of the interview. Don’t tell me what I experienced. How are you gonna tell somebody ‘you weren’t attacked’? Yes I was. That man sat up there and literally said to me ‘What you’re saying isn’t right.’ They cut out when Shannon Sharpe literally said to me, ‘It seems like anybody who doesn’t agree with you, you say they’re racist.’ And I literally had to say to him, ‘Is there a reason that you are being so hostile with me?’

Seales continued, explaining how she believes the conversation about her autism diagnosis should have gone. Sharpe isn’t the only person Seales has had issues with in recent months, as she also went back and forth with Icewear Vezzo over Donald Trump earlier this year. Eventually, he apologized for going overboard with his remarks.

Katt Williams Clarifies Shocking Diddy Claims He Made On “Club Shay Shay”

Earlier this week, GQ published an exclusive interview with Katt Williams, which appears in their Men of The Year issue. In the interview, the controversial comedian discussed his viral appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast Club Shay Shay, which has racked up a staggering 83 million views since its January release. At the time, he went after several of his celebrity peers including Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric The Entertainer, and more. He even made some shocking claims about Diddy, who is currently behind bars facing disturbing allegations.

“Because P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no!” he alleged, “I did.” Williams told GQ how Diddy “ended up on his list,” and his answer was fairly simple. According to him, it all started with his love for 2Pac. “So when I was a young man, Tupac was my favorite artist. I loved Tupac. And I felt like we were kindred spirits,” he recalled. “So if I hear you responsible for knocking my n***a off — I don’t give a f**k what job I end up being in, I don’t care how things go, if I can get a way to get you, that’s what I’m all about.”

And part of my job is to not lose focus on that.”

Williams’ first appearance on Club Shay Shay may not be his last, as earlier this week, Sharpe seemingly teased a second bombshell interview. “There’s a possibility that you might hear the haymakers very very soon,” he said on Nightcap recently. In a new episode of Nightcap with Chad Ochocinco, Sharpe was speaking on the one-year anniversary of the famous interview with Williams. As it turns out, Sharpe might be planning a sequel on January 3rd, or at least that is what it sounds like. If this is true, then the internet is about to be in for a real treat. Having said that, one has to wonder how much Williams has left to say after unleashing the clip in his first interview with Sharpe.

Whatever the case may be, this is something that many should be looking forward to. Williams is a dynamic personality who can make anything into a joke. Furthermore, 2024 was a year that was dominated by some wild headlines, and we’re sure Williams has a lot of commentary there. Hopefully, Sharpe isn’t pump-faking us right now. Overall, it would be blast to see Williams in this setting again. Although his enemies might not be so excited.

Katt Williams Admits He Wanted To “Kill Careers” With His Viral “Club Shay Shay” Interview

Katt Williams says he set out with the intention of ruining several careers during his appearance on Club Shay Shay at the start of 2024. On the show, he blasted several fellow comedians, including Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, and Tiffany Haddish, while speaking with Shannon Sharpe. Williams reflected on the bombshell podcast during an appearance at New York Magazine’s Vulture Festival over the weekend.

He began by explaining that he thought he had figured out the social media algorithm before going on the show and planned to take advantage. “I [set] out to kill the careers of the people I was talking about,” he said. “But it was so vicious that I erased all of the knockout blows and just left the jabs, so that the comic I’m talking about knows, ‘I know your real story, motherf*ckers.’ Ima tell this, but you know what else I know.”

Elsewhere in the Vulture Festival discussion, Williams joked about the allegations surrounding Diddy, which the Bad Boy mogul has already denied. “I’m anti-establishment, so I can never be the establishment,” he said. “Even if I’m at the Diddy party, I’m there to tell. I’m there to see, Who the f*ck is in here and what do y’all get from being in here? So, nobody likes to have me around. I’m there for bad intentions.”

Katt Williams Reflects On “Club Shay Shay” Interview

He also used the platform to complain about Saturday Night Live’s portrayal of him during the Club Shay Shay interview. “A lot of times, when people are doing an impression of you, they’re really showing you how they feel about you. So, for ‘Saturday Night Live’ to have an impression of me and have a woman do that, it means they think I’m a b****. And I understand that that’s what they’re saying when they do that,” he said. Katt Williams Downplays His Conspiracies While Speaking On Shannon Sharpe Interview

Katt Williams opened up a Pandora’s box of conflicts, allegations, scandals, conspiracies, and truth-seeking with his Club Shay Shay appearance that kicked 2024 off. His conversation with Shannon Sharpe saw him go after a whole host of celebrities for widely different reasons, including Diddy, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, and many more. It remains a hot topic almost a full year after its release, and people still clearly want to talk about it. Moreover, GQ asked the comedian about this “age of truth” origin during the outlet’s “Man Of The Year” event in Los Angeles on Thursday (November 14).

Specifically, the hosts asked Katt Williams how he feels about being “America’s favorite prophet” and whether or not more conspiracies are to come before the year ends. “None of them were conspiracies, which is why they all happened,” he responded. “I believe we’re entering the golden age. Right after the age of truth, the revealing is the scab being pulled off and then the healing can begin.” Considering how explosive the Club Shay Shay interview was, that healing is certainly necessary.

Katt Williams Speaks On His “Conspiracies”

“I came in this business saying I was going to expose,” Katt Williams said during his conversation with Shannon Sharpe. “When I talked about Michael Jackson, when I talked about R. Kelly, they canceled me for these things because why would you talk about another Black dude? Race is not where the line is drawn. It’s God’s side and the other side, and we don’t care nothing about the other side, period. All of these big d**k deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It’s up for all of them, it don’t matter if you Diddy or whoever you is. All lies will be exposed.”

Elsewhere, though, Katt Williams still keeps things light and doesn’t always go down these conspiratorial rabbit holes that captivated us so much back in January. He’s still down to just jab at fellow comedians for the heck of it, such as a joke at GQ‘s event about Faizon Love. We’ll see whether or not “the age of truth” continues, and we’re waiting for the healing to start.

VP Kamala Harris Tells Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay Podcast: “Donald Trump Has Not Earned the Right to Be President”

VP Kamala Harris Tells Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay Podcast: "Donald Trump Has Not Earned the Right to Be President"

In a candid conversation with Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Vice President Kamala Harris laid out her views on America’s future, strongly criticizing former President Donald Trump’s leadership and record.

Addressing what she sees as Trump’s failure to serve all Americans, Harris stated, “He has not earned the right to be president of the United States… To be president means to try and find common ground, to build consensus, to lift up the American people.” She questioned Trump’s dedication to addressing the needs of Americans, contrasting it with the qualities she believes leadership requires: empathy, consensus-building, and problem-solving.

Harris and Sharpe discussed the administration’s commitment to protecting essential programs like Social Security, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act, and Harris criticized Trump’s policies affecting Black Americans and his tendency to focus on “his grievances.”

On a lighter note, Harris also shared her taste in music and her morning routine, adding a personal touch to the wide-ranging interview. Harris’ comments on Trump underscored her belief in a leader who prioritizes unity and empathy, qualities she suggests Trump lacks.

Steve Harvey Appears To Call Out Katt Williams For Explosive “Club Shay Shay” Interview

It’s no secret that Katt Williams had a lot to say during his explosive interview with Shannon Sharpe on the latter’s Club Shay Shay podcast. He took aim at several of his fellow comedians, including but not limited to Cedric The Entertainer, Michael Blackson, Kevin Hart, and Tiffany Haddish. He also called out Steve Harvey, accusing him of stealing the concept for The Steve Harvey Show from Mark Curry’s Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.

Back in August, Harvey appeared to fire back at Invest Fest, urging his audience not to let “haters” bring them down. “You’ll never have a hater that’s doing better than you. Always know that,” he said at the time. “I just don’t have the quickness I had, but I can still turn my hip and shift that weight, and I’d knock yo’ short a** out. I’d shoot yo’ perm straight out yo’ head.”

Steve Harvey Questions Katt Williams’ Motives

Now, Harvey appears to have addressed Williams yet again, this time on an episode of Vice TV‘s Black Comedy in America. He took a similar approach this time around, arguing that he’s not about tearing other entertainers down. “When did we get into the tear each other down business, cuz you ain’t never heard me say not a disparaging remark against another comedian nowhere,” he explained. “We ain’t cut from that cloth. So why are you? What is your motive for doing this here?

Harvey continued, noting how he has plenty of opportunities to speak poorly of others, but simply chooses not to. “I don’t do that, I don’t got no minutes for you, man. I’m not in the tear-down business, I’m in the uplift business,” he said.
