Shannon Sharpe is the host of Club Shay Shay, a show that has gotten a lot of positive publicity over the last year. Overall, the show is considered to be one of the best when it comes to sit-down interviews that offer some real answers. While the show was doing well throughout 2023, it really hit its stride throughout 2024. It really all started thanks to his interview with none other than Katt Williams, which immediately went viral everywhere.

During the interview with Williams, the comedian was spilling the beans on the entire industry. Moreover, he was going after all of the people he had issues with throughout the years. It proved to be an extremely eye-opening interview that had everyone on social media talking. Furthermore, it proved to be a rejuvenation of Williams’ historic comedy career. While some felt Shannon let the interview get away from him, others felt like his platform was becoming the best place for celebrities to vent.

In a new episode of Nightcap with Chad Ochocinco, Sharpe was speaking on the one-year anniversary of the famous interview with Williams. As it turns out, Sharpe might be planning a sequel on January 3rd, or at least that is what it sounds like. If this is true, then the internet is about to be in for a real treat. Having said that, one has to wonder how much Williams has left to say after unleashing the clip in his first interview with Sharpe.

Whatever the case may be, this is something that many should be looking forward to. Williams is a dynamic personality who can make anything into a joke. Furthermore, 2024 was a year that was dominated by some wild headlines, and we’re sure Williams has a lot of commentary there. Hopefully, Sharpe isn’t pump-faking us right now. Overall, it would be blast to see Williams in this setting again. Although his enemies might not be so excited.

Katt Williams Admits He Wanted To “Kill Careers” With His Viral “Club Shay Shay” Interview

Katt Williams says he set out with the intention of ruining several careers during his appearance on Club Shay Shay at the start of 2024. On the show, he blasted several fellow comedians, including Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, and Tiffany Haddish, while speaking with Shannon Sharpe. Williams reflected on the bombshell podcast during an appearance at New York Magazine’s Vulture Festival over the weekend.

He began by explaining that he thought he had figured out the social media algorithm before going on the show and planned to take advantage. “I [set] out to kill the careers of the people I was talking about,” he said. “But it was so vicious that I erased all of the knockout blows and just left the jabs, so that the comic I’m talking about knows, ‘I know your real story, motherf*ckers.’ Ima tell this, but you know what else I know.”

Elsewhere in the Vulture Festival discussion, Williams joked about the allegations surrounding Diddy, which the Bad Boy mogul has already denied. “I’m anti-establishment, so I can never be the establishment,” he said. “Even if I’m at the Diddy party, I’m there to tell. I’m there to see, Who the f*ck is in here and what do y’all get from being in here? So, nobody likes to have me around. I’m there for bad intentions.”

He also used the platform to complain about Saturday Night Live’s portrayal of him during the Club Shay Shay interview. “A lot of times, when people are doing an impression of you, they’re really showing you how they feel about you. Katt Williams Downplays His Conspiracies While Speaking On Shannon Sharpe Interview

Katt Williams opened up a Pandora’s box of conflicts, allegations, scandals, conspiracies, and truth-seeking with his Club Shay Shay appearance that kicked 2024 off. His conversation with Shannon Sharpe saw him go after a whole host of celebrities for widely different reasons, including Diddy, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, and many more. It remains a hot topic almost a full year after its release, and people still clearly want to talk about it. Moreover, GQ asked the comedian about this “age of truth” origin during the outlet’s “Man Of The Year” event in Los Angeles on Thursday (November 14).

Specifically, the hosts asked Katt Williams how he feels about being “America’s favorite prophet” and whether or not more conspiracies are to come before the year ends. “None of them were conspiracies, which is why they all happened,” he responded. “I believe we’re entering the golden age. Right after the age of truth, the revealing is the scab being pulled off and then the healing can begin.” Considering how explosive the Club Shay Shay interview was, that healing is certainly necessary.

“I came in this business saying I was going to expose,” Katt Williams said during his conversation with Shannon Sharpe. “When I talked about Michael Jackson, when I talked about R. Kelly, they canceled me for these things because why would you talk about another Black dude? Race is not where the line is drawn. It’s God’s side and the other side, and we don’t care nothing about the other side, period. All of these big d**k deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It’s up for all of them, it don’t matter if you Diddy or whoever you is. All lies will be exposed.”

Elsewhere, though, Katt Williams still keeps things light and doesn’t always go down these conspiratorial rabbit holes that captivated us so much back in January. He’s still down to just jab at fellow comedians for the heck of it, such as a joke at GQ‘s event about Faizon Love. We’ll see whether or not “the age of truth” continues, and we’re waiting for the healing to start.

In a candid conversation with Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Vice President Kamala Harris laid out her views on America’s future, strongly criticizing former President Donald Trump’s leadership and record.

Steve Harvey Appears To Call Out Katt Williams For Explosive “Club Shay Shay” Interview

It’s no secret that Katt Williams had a lot to say during his explosive interview with Shannon Sharpe on the latter’s Club Shay Shay podcast. He took aim at several of his fellow comedians, including but not limited to Cedric The Entertainer, Michael Blackson, Kevin Hart, and Tiffany Haddish. He also called out Steve Harvey, accusing him of stealing the concept for The Steve Harvey Show from Mark Curry’s Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.

Back in August, Harvey appeared to fire back at Invest Fest, urging his audience not to let “haters” bring them down. “You’ll never have a hater that’s doing better than you. Always know that,” he said at the time. “I just don’t have the quickness I had, but I can still turn my hip and shift that weight, and I’d knock yo’ short a** out. I’d shoot yo’ perm straight out yo’ head.”

Now, Harvey appears to have addressed Williams yet again, this time on an episode of Vice TV‘s Black Comedy in America. He took a similar approach this time around, arguing that he’s not about tearing other entertainers down. “When did we get into the tear each other down business, cuz you ain’t never heard me say not a disparaging remark against another comedian nowhere,” he explained. “We ain’t cut from that cloth. So why are you? What is your motive for doing this here?“

Harvey continued, noting how he has plenty of opportunities to speak poorly of others, but simply chooses not to. “I don’t do that, I don’t got no minutes for you, man. I’m not in the tear-down business, I’m in the uplift business,” he said. Issa Rae Admits She’d Never Work With Amanda Seales Again

It’s no secret that Issa Rae and Amanda Seales have had their fair share of differences in the past. During her appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast earlier this year, Seales opened up about some of the downsides to her experience working on Insecure with Rae, claiming that she never felt empowered. “She wasn’t empowering to me. [Issa] didn’t feel like I was needed. She didn’t feel like I deserved to be protected,” Seales said at the time. “I’m only giving a portion of the situation. But that was my experience. And nonetheless, I have still always protected her because I felt like it was my responsibility to do so. But it is not.”

It looks like Rae heard Seales’ comments loud and clear, and doesn’t want to work with her again in the future. Recently on The Breakfast Club, they played audio of her speaking at an event for her wine brand in Brooklyn. When asked who she would never collaborate with again, her answer was Seales.

The crowd proceeded to go wild, indicating that while Rae did not call Seales out by name, they all knew who she was referring to. Seales’ appearance on Club Shay Shay hasn’t only made headlines for reigniting her feud with Rae, however. Marlon Wayans had a lot to say on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, including a dark and foreboding tale about how he allegedly hung out with Tupac in Vegas right before his death. But this new interview also saw him reflect on past injustices throughout his career and how they eventually saw retribution. Moreover, the entertainer accused producer Harvey Weinstein of stealing his and his family’s ideas for Scary Movie 3. While this and other factors made Wayans consider a lawsuit, the multiple sexual misconduct convictions that Weinstein faced years down the line ended up serving justice. The actor also accused the executive of subjecting him and his family to very poor deals and not being able to make as good of a comedy film as they could.

Marlon Wayans Claims He Hung Out With Tupac Minutes Before He Was Murdered

Shannon Sharpe’s latest guest on his Club Shay Shay podcast is none other than DJ Vlad’s recent Twitter opponent Marlon Wayans. Moreover, they spoke about a whole host of topics, including his career, personal relationships, and reflections on his decades in the industry and celebrity ecosystem. However, the actor and comedian raised some eyebrows thanks to one of his stories. He told Sharpe about the time that he and fellow entertainer Omar Epps allegedly saw Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas just 20 minutes or so before suspects fatally shot him. It’s a dark and strange tale, one that offers yet another perspective on this monumental tragedy in hip-hop history.

“I saw Tupac in Vegas at The Luxor 20 minutes before he got shot,” Marlon Wayans alleged. “I seen Suge and all these cars and thugs and reds. I turned white, I was like… ‘M-m-m-maybe we shouldn’t go over there. Let’s just wave from here.’ Omar [Epps] was like, ‘Nah, we got to go say what’s up and pay our respects.’ ‘Pac was a huge star at this time. And I was like, ‘Are you sure? It sure looks like a lot of trouble over there.’

“I give him a hug, we all talk, kick it for five minutes,” Marlon Wayans continued his alleged recollection of his and Epps’ run-in with Tupac. “And the BMW pulls up. Me, Omar and Mitchell [Marchand] get in a cab and we pull off. I’ll never forget the look on Tupac’s face as we pulled off. He was looking at us like, ‘Man, I miss that freedom, I miss that fun.’

“He was just in this chaos,” Marlon Wayans concluded. “There was a part of him that wished that… It was like the innocence. [He wished that] he could just go with the innocence. And so we left and then 20 minutes later, we heard he got shot.” It’s important to note that this wasn’t the first time that the two had met. They worked together on the 1994 film Above The Rim, and Wayans has spoken about his bond with the late legend in the past.

Tyrese Believes Snoop Dogg Is A More Famous Rapper Than Jay-Z

Tyrese was the latest guest on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, and we’re sure that it will make for another explosive episode. In fact, the former even proclaimed that it will make about as much of a splash as the Katt Williams interview did, which is certainly a tall order. However, one thing that might be more controversial and debatable than this assessment relates to one of their many discussions. At one point during their conversation, the duo landed on the topic of Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, and decided to debate which of the two hip-hop superstars is more of a globally famous celebrity.

“Who’s a bigger rapper globally? Most famous of the two. Jay-Z or Snoop Dogg?” Tyrese asked. “If Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg were in a mall in Moscow, who would shut the mall down? [Snoop Dogg is the] biggest f***ing superstar in the world. That’s my big homie. Long Beach, West Coast, I wish a motherf***er would.” We know that Snoop and the actor/singer are very good friends, with both of them supporting each other through some tough personal hardships over recent months.

As for Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, they don’t cross over often, but they do share a lot of common collaborators, institutions, and goals. Elsewhere, they don’t have much of a collaborative history or strong links, but they definitely respect each other to the highest degree as rap legends. After all, they are arguably the two biggest faces of the genre and represent it – for better or worse – at the highest mainstream commercial levels.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg had previously joked about not being invited to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation brunch, so maybe that informs a bit of this “Who’s more famous?” discussion. “They know when I walk in, my outfit is going to turn everything out. So they like, ‘Keep that n***a away,’” he said during a podcast interview. Jokes aside, we wonder if we will see these two hip-hop icons link up in some way in the near future, or if their paths will focus more on their individual exploits.

Tyrese Hilariously Roasts Shannon Sharpe For Infamous Car Video

Today, Shannon Sharpe dropped a new episode of Club Shay Shay featuring Tyrese, which expectedly arrived full of interesting moments. At one point in the interview, for example, Tyrese referenced a clip of Sharpe getting out of a car, which quickly went viral earlier this year. In it, he rocks an all-green outfit with a bright orange bag and awkwardly walks away from the car to meet fans.

“You walked your a** out like you were supposed to see a chiropractor that week,” Tyrese said of the video. “That motherf*cker had a different kind of wiggle.” After roasting Sharpe for the video briefly, he came to his defense, noting that sitting in a car for a long time can’t be easy for an ex-NFL player at his height.

Tyrese went on, also recalling how the video resulted in a ton of clowning and speculation about Sharpe’s sexuality online. He said that while celebrities often get frustrated by this kind of thing, it’s on them for having put their business out there. “I’ve said and done some d*mb-a** sh*t on social media,” he explained. “But guess what, if I’ve got a problem with what people got to say about me, get off the internet… You ain’t hear no rumors about Denzel, cuz he ain’t on the Gram.”

“At the end of the day, when you invite people into your life and your world, then why are you mad that they’re gonna misunderstand you, twist your words, beat you up when they disagree with you, create who you are and what your intentions are?” he also added.
