Travis Scott, Cardi B, And Chris Brown To Headline Rolling Loud Thailand 2023

The lineups for Rolling Loud Los Angeles and Rolling Loud Portugal were previously announced, impressing hip-hop fans with headliners like Future, Playboi Carti, and Travis Scott for the former festival location and Scott, Carti, and Meek Mill for the latter. Now the lineup for Rolling Loud Thailand is out — and headliners include the Astroworld rapper again as well as Chris Brown and Cardi B.

Other guests on the roster are A$AP Ferg, Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, DaBaby, Rae Sremmurd, Offset, Ski Mask The Slump God, Waka Flocka Flame, Soulja Boy, Fat Joe, Central Cee, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Bktherula, Teriyaki Boyz, and many more.

It’ll take place at Legend Siam in Pattaya on April 13-15, 2023; it’s the first time ever occurring in Thailand. Ticket information can be found here.

Ironically, DaBaby is performing at Rolling Loud Thailand, considering he claimed that his notorious performance at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021 cost him $100 million because of his homophobic remarks that lost him fans and brand deals. “I ain’t into all of the conspiracy theories, this and that,” he said on Hot97’s Ebro In The Morning show. “Until you see it really cost a n****s a $100 million within a year’s span.”

Cardi B is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Chris Brown Hit With $4M In Taxes As He Unveils Huge Clothing Collection

Chris Brown had a huge year in 2022, with the release of his latest album, as well as the subsequent supporting tour alongside Lil Baby. However, it looks like Uncle Sam is on the hunt for his cut.

Per TMZ, the IRS and the state of California hit Chris Brown with a $4M tax bill for 2022. The publication said that he was federal tax liens for $2,245,561.50 and $1,059,967.78 for the past year. Additionally, the state of California filed another state tax lien against the singer for $739,067.48. All in all, Chris Brown is facing nearly $4M in taxes for the past year.

However, it doesn’t appear that it could be a huge issue for him. The singer revealed that he needed to build a department store at his home to hoard all of his clothing. In a video shared on Instagram, the Breezy artist revealed racks upon racks of clothes in a long storage space. It kind of looks like he has a Marshall’s for designer streetwear on his property.

Though he can surely sell some of the clothes off — which he’s done in the past — if needed to foot the tax bill, it doesn’t seem like it would be a huge issue for him to cover. The singer’s on pace to head on another tour in support of his new album. This time, he’ll be hitting dates across Europe. So far, the majority of the shows are sold out, including four dates in London, two in Amsterdam, and another two in Paris. The demand was so high that he added more dates. Needless to say, he’ll be caking it once the tour is over.

Jordin Sparks Suggests Chris Brown & Rihanna Beef Caused “No Air” Grammys Snub: Watch

It’s been 15 years since Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown came together to make magic on “No Air. To this day, though, the American Idol alum continues to defend her friend. In the past, she’s shut down those who continue to bring up the father of three’s prior allegations of abuse – even though they may have cost her a Grammy.

Earlier this month, the “One Step At A Time” hitmaker appeared on Cut’s “Truth or Drink” video series. During the interview, the host couldn’t help but go back in time to the 2009 award ceremony. At the time, Breezy was arrested due to an altercation with his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

According to Sparks, she found out about the incident “like everybody else [did].” As she recalls, label publicists approached her on the red carpet, telling the singer, “You know nothing.”

At the time, she had no idea about what happened, just that “No Air” was up for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals at the Grammys. Under normal circumstances, the night would’ve been a dream come true. However, it obviously took a turn for the worse after Breezy’s arrest.

Sparks says she found out the truth during the ceremony. At first, she was confident that they “had a really good chance of winning.” Ultimately, though, it was Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ work on “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” that took the trophy.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the 33-year-old told Cut. “A lot of stuff that happened after that was not me. I think a lot of the powers that had a hand in, like… [I] didn’t know the ins and outs of the industry,” she further explained.

Reliving what could’ve been with “No Air” is never easy. Luckily, the interview also found Sparks happily discussing her solo music and her relationship. “Have you ever done the nasty while listening to your own music?” the host asked her.

From off-camera, her husband, Dana Isaiah quickly answers for her, “Yes.” As his wife laughs, she jokes, “I don’t even get to take a shot, damn it!” Afterward, she says the track of choice for the bedroom is “Silhouette” from her Right Here Right Now album.

Vedo carries on the chorus as he sings, “Do you mind if I come through? Mind if I touch you? Mind if I mess up your frontal? Pour it up, roll it up, wе can smoke too.”

As Rated R&B notes, the new arrival marks the second single from the artist’s forthcoming Mood Swings project. It’s due out next Friday (January 13) via New Wav Music Group/Island Prolific/EMPIRE.

Quotable Lyrics:

Oh, I know I’m a player but I’ll wait up, shoot my shot and then I follow through
You so good, I wanna give my heart to you

Vedo Prepares To Drop New Album, ‘Mood Swings’ on Jan. 13

Vedo Prepares To Drop New Album, ‘Mood Swings’ on Jan. 13

While Vedo has his eyes set on the release of his new project, Mood Swings, he reflects on how he positioned himself for one of the biggest cultural phenomenons of 2022.

Since his introduction to the world on Season 4 of “The Voice,” the Grammy-nominated crooner has captivated R&B fans with his vocal ability and songwriting. This year was no different. He penned Chris Brown’s lead single, “WE (Warm Embrace),” for his 10th studio album, which he wrote three years ago.

“I originally wrote it for Usher,” says Vedo. “I sent it to Breezy. He loved it and he cut it three years ago. There were many times I was close to dropping the record on my own, but you can’t be selfish to the other creatives involved.”

His decision proved the right one as the song helped Chris Brown surpass Elvis Presley for the eighth most Hot 100 entries as one of five from the album to land on the Hot 100. In addition, Vedo received his first Grammy nomination for his work on the project.

He could not have predicted the viral moment that was forthcoming after the release of Breezy.

Ironically, Usher’s Tiny Desk Concert succeeded in several comedic moments from R&B singers that sent Black Twitter into a frenzy. Between VERZUZ and the BET Awards, R&B did not have the best week on display.

Usher, Vedo, and Eric Bellinger proved to be the perfect segue to the week that preceded it. The trio, along with a great band, flawlessly glided through Usher’s classic catalog, where he opened the floor for both Bellinger and Vedo to shine.

According to Vedo, the “My Way” singer initially called him and Bellinger to share the stage with him at Pharrell’s Something in the Water Festival, where they could perform their songs as well.

“Last minute he tells us, ‘by the way, we’re gonna do Tiny Desk,’” says Vedo. “We’re rehearsing, but now it’s time to adapt. When I say adapt, it’s going from being a lead sold artist to a supporting artist, but still having the same impact if you were front and center.”

Vedo attests the massive success of Tiny Desk to his preparation and gives the utmost gratitude to Usher and Eric Bellinger.

Now Vedo is gearing up to release his next project, Mood Swings, following his debut performance at the Soul Train Awards last month. He performed the album’s lead single, “Forever,” as well.

The 13-track project will drop on Jan. 13 and feature cameos from Chris Brown and Tink.
