Gunna’s Brother Scathingly Reacts To Young Thug Shade

Young Thug caused quite a stir when he left prison on a plea deal in the YSL RICO case, but not solely for the reasons you might expect. Of course, people wonder when he will pop out publicly again and whether or not there’s new music from him coming soon. But Thugger also shocked rap fans – or seemingly confirmed their fears – by allegedly shading Gunna in a tweet-and-delete. “Stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy,” he wrote in the since-deleted post, which many assumed was a hack. For those unaware, fans assumed tension thanks to previous messages from the Atlanta MC about his protégé, and the fact that Wunna took a plea deal in the YSL trial.

Well, it seems like no matter what caused this tweet, Gunna took it negatively. An IG account reportedly belonging to his brother commented under an Instagram post covering the Young Thug tweet-and-delete, and had this to say: “Trust and believe the feeling is mutual [blue P emoji],” he shared. The College Park rapper previously advocated for Thug in public, with Thug’s father Jeffrey Williams Sr. even defending him amid snitching claims. This is one of the many factors that have fans scratching their heads, as there are a lot of mixed signals.

Another mixed signal is how Young Thug and his lawyer Brian Steel actually asked for him to be able to continue to work with Gunna as part of his probation conditions. If you didn’t hear, the restrictions barred contact with YSL affiliates, but these two are contractually bound to the same label. With all this in mind, it seems like this unexplained message fell on combative ears regardless of its intent, context, or whether or not Thugger was even the one to tweet it out.

Meanwhile, Lil Baby seems to have something on the way with Young Thug, based on the latter’s tweets. He also allegedly shaded Gunna a lot over his “snitching,” so this led fans to believe the beef theory even more. We’ll surely get a definitive answer one day, but if you hoped for a reconciliation, things don’t look promising.

Things just got “Sticky” in the Lil Wayne and Toya Johnson family thanks to a recent Instagram Live rant from the former’s brother Walter. For those unaware, Weezy and Toya share a child named Reginae, whom they welcomed into the world as teenagers back during the New Orleans rapper’s rise to superstardom. However, it seems like there’s some trouble brewing among the family these days, as Walter took to social media to air out a lot of grievances. During his rant, he name-dropped Tunechi and expressed similar animosity to others in his family for what he sees as a lack of accountability and support.

“You play with me, I’m letting you know, I’ma come for all of y’all,” Walter said of Lil Wayne and the Johnson family. “Wayne, Toya, I don’t give a f**k who it is. I’ma come for all of y’all. Reginae, I’ma come for everybody. Because don’t play with me, bro. I’m real. When you ain’t have nobody? When my mama wanted to – when the family wanted to have a f***ing abortion on Reginae? And ain’t nobody could’ve did nothing to stop it? Walter stopped it. My mama was upstate. That’s the s**t I’m trying to tell y’all. Then, Walter seemed to directly call Lil Wayne out for lying about who he hangs with, criticize his lack of support for the family around him, and get into some of the alleged dynamics between their colleagues in common. Finally, Toya Johnson’s brother lamented how people won’t believe his story, and told the naysayers mad at him that he doesn’t care about their backlash.

We’ll see if anything else comes of this alleged drama and whether or not the rest of the family will speak out. Young Dolph’s murder case has been seeing some weird developments since its inception, but things are getting even more odd. Today marks the first day of his murder trial, as just a couple of days ago a jury had been seated. Judge Jennifer Mitchell is overlooking it all the main three suspects are still Justin Johnson, Cornelius Smith, and Hernandez Govan. Leading up to this morning/afternoon, Govan has been constantly painted as the possible head honcho behind the murder of the beloved Memphis rapper.

However, prosecutors are making a shocking accusation against the deceased brother of Dolph’s longtime foe, Yo Gotti. According to an update from The Neighborhood Talk, Big Jook allegedly was the one to put the hit out on the Paper Route Empire boss. This allegation comes from Shelby County Assistant District Attorney Paul Hagerman. Mr. Hagerman claims that Jook put out a $100,000 reward and Justin Johnson, one of the alleged gunmen, was looking to sign to CMG, Gotti’s label. So, to earn respect and that money, he was the one who gunned down Dolph.

“Big Jook, the person I told you about before, the number two guy at CMG, he’s put out a hit, a hit, $100,000 to whoever kills Dolph”, Hagerman said. “He has met with Justin (Johnson). He has met with Cornelius (Smith) and they think they’re ready to do it”. They also claim to have video evidence of Johnson firing at Dolph. Given Dolph and Gotti’s history, this makes things incredibly interesting and certainly makes us wonder if the latter will have come to court. Right now, the trial seems to be still happening. Nardo Wick’s Brother Reportedly Enters Insanity Plea Over Florida Burglary

Nardo Wick and his family are in a tough situation right now following his brother Hayward Biggins’ arrest for attempted burglary back in March. Moreover, Ring camera footage below is what allegedly identified Nardo’s brother as the shooter in this incident. While the rapper had nothing to do with this incident, his community still expressed outrage, as this burglary apparently took place near his home. Nevertheless, Biggins and his legal team reportedly filed for an insanity plea in this situation, which means that he seeks mental help in recovering from this incident but doesn’t think that he’s directly responsible or accountable for it given his struggles.

However, this isn’t the only contentious and dangerous situation involving one of Nardo Wick’s close associates these days. For example, some members of his entourage apparently beat up a young fan when he tried to ask for a picture, which drew a lot of controversy online. Many debated whether or not this was a proper response, and most people agreed that Nardo’s team took this way too far in this incident. Still, this is another situation that the Jacksonville MC had nothing to do with, and he quickly spoke out about this fan.

“I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any type of way,” Nardo Wick expressed on social media. “I expressed to him and his momma how sorry and concerned I am that it happened to him multiple times before anything [hit] the internet. And I sent his mama my number instantly the night it happened. And I was even gone make a post to find out who he was before his mama text me. I can’t control another grown man actions. I aint know that was gone happen and I was mad when it happened.”

At least those responsible turned themselves in for the attack, so it’s clear that they understood that something was very wrong here. Regardless, we’ll see whether a similar situation happened with this shooting case’s insanity plea and whether Nardo Wick will speak out about it again. In any case, hopefully these situations resolve themselves sooner rather than later for the sake of everyone involved.

For someone who was really going through it when Pop Smoke passed, Fivio Foreign was not going to let all of this slander slide.

RJ Barrett To Miss Time After Brother’s Death

RJ Barrett will be indefinitely sidelined following the death of his younger brother. Nathan Barrett played at the prestigious Monteverde Academy. However, the details surrounding his death have not been released. Barrett has previously spoken about the close bond he shared with his brother. “In my family, we’re very competitive. Everyone is always trying to beat each other. Everyone is an athlete, so that’s where I get all my competitive drive,” he told SLAM in 2018.

Barrett was the third-overall pick in 2019 after a one-and-done season with Duke. He was a day-one starter for the Knicks but would only make the playoffs twice with the team. Despite this, in 2022, Barrett became the first player to sign a multiyear extension off their rookie contract with the Knicks since 1999. However, in December 2023, the Knicks traded Barrett to his hometown Raptors to acquire O.G. Annouby.

Smith’s comments, and his allusions to ESPN colleague Adrian Wojnarowski, come after the Knicks swung a blockbuster trade for O.G. Annouby. A move they have been pursuing since the summer, the Knicks sent Immanuel Quickley and Barrett to Toronto. Annouby was averaging 15 points this season and serves as a solid starting small forward in New York. However, he’s not the “star power” that championship-hungry fans like Smith are looking for. It’s also a move that Smith has been less than enthusiastic about.

Snoop Dogg and his family recently commemorated his brother Bing Worthington’s life and legacy in a formal ceremony after a lot of healing, reflection, and mourning. For those unaware, Worthington passed away last week at the age of 44, and its cause is still unknown at press time. Moreover, the Long Beach rapper shared a picture of the funeral service on Instagram on Tuesday (February 20), and you can see that he and his loved ones donned red outfits for the occasion. They stand next to the casket in the picture. Many peers like Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, and more shared their condolences in the comments section.

“Everlastin love Beverly’s boys,” Snoop Dogg captioned the tribute post, alluding to their connection as half-brothers through their mother’s side. “Dirty left bing and snoopy [fire emoji] [rose emoji] [dove emoji]. @badabing33 miss that laugh and the way u made us smile keep mama company till we get there [dove emoji] [peace sign emoji].” This adds to his multiple social media tributes to Bing Worthington, who had assisted him with tour managing, a writing credit, and merchandising. Snoop Dogg Continues To Mourn Brother On Instagram

Snoop Dogg recently suffered a tragic and shocking loss with the passing of his brother, Bing Worthington. He continued to mourn this event on Saturday (February 17), with many videos, pictures, and old memories to look back on, cherish, and celebrate his life through. Thousands of social media users, whether they are just regular folks like us or fellow celebrities, poured out their sympathies, condolences, and well-wishes online. This is a very difficult time for Worthington’s family, and to see this level of support and care is at least heartening, despite there being nothing that could possibly fill this void.

While Bing Worthington’s loss is a sad affair, at least the Broadus family did not face another tragedy just weeks before this. Snoop Dogg’s Brother, Bing Worthington, Dies At 44

Today, Snoop Dogg took to social media to announce that his half-brother, Bing Worthington, has passed away at the age of 44. He shared various posts honoring his late brother, including a shot of him alongside their late mother, Beverly Tate. Bing’s cause of death has not yet been revealed.

“Bac wit momma,” Snoop Dogg captioned one of the photos, “[Bing] always made us laugh.” He also shared a short clip of him, Bing, and their other brother Jerry spending time in a cemetery, presumably visiting their mother’s grave. Friends and fans are out in full force, leaving their condolences in the rapper’s comments section. She suffers from Lupus, an illness that can increase one’s risk for stroke. At the end of last month, Snoop Dogg opened up about the frightening health scare in an interview with People. “[She’s] doing a little bit better,” he told the outlet. Man Arrested For Alleged Involvement In Blac Youngsta’s Brother’s Murder

Blac Youngsta’s brother Tomanuel Benson was tragically shot and killed in August of last year, a case that saw little development in its immediate aftermath. However, that recently changed as authorities arrested a 28-year-old man in Memphis for his alleged involvement in the shooting. For those unaware, the rapper’s brother passed away after a shooting at a Memphis gas station. An investigation into the incident resulted in police naming Randy Darnell Ewing Jr. as a suspect, and warrants for his arrest emerged shortly after. This is the most recent development following a months-long manhunt that hadn’t resulted in any concrete news up until this point.

Furthermore, Ewing Jr. received charges of second-degree murder, criminally attempted second-degree murder, violations of the sex offender registry law, and other firearm offense-related charges. U.S. Marshals worked with Memphis PD and Shelby County’s Sheriff’s Office to capture Blac Youngsta’s brother’s alleged killer after a short chase on Tuesday night (February 13), according to AllHipHop. They found Ewing Jr. while armed and treated him for his injuries sustained during the chase before transferring him to Shelby County Jail. Detectives and other authorities remain tight-lipped when it comes to possible motives.
