GloRilla Meets Beyoncé, Her Dream Collaborator, At The Grammys

Awards season is officially upon us. This means the internet will see a slew of exciting celebrity crossovers in the coming months. Sunday (February 5) night celebrated one of the biggest evenings in music we’ll see this year, better known as the Grammys. Plenty of our favourites stepped out in their best dressed, including Cardi B, Beyoncé, and Doja Cat.

Now that COVID-19 feels like a thing of the past, many of them found time to pose for photos and videos together. Thankfully for fans, many were subsequently shared on social media. One name that practically everyone in the building wanted to meet is obviously Queen B. The mother of three left with four new trophies under her arm last night, as well as the title of most-awarded Grammy artist of all time.

When she wasn’t on stage accepting her various prizes, Beyoncé was kiking with other industry favourites. Among them is GloRilla, whose excitement was radiating in the adorable clip she uploaded to social media last night. In the three-second video, the “FTCU” rhymer smiles ear to ear and waves at the camera as her new friend leans in.

“I love you so much,” she gushes over Bey, who also gives the camera a heartwarming grin and giggle. “I met Beyoncé, bye!!!!!!” the rapper wrote in her caption. “My life is COMPLETE.” Coming face-to-face with the vocalist would surely be an amazing experience for any fan. As it turns out, though, the Houston native is one of GloRilla’s dream collaborators.

In an exclusive interview with Grammy.com, the southern rapper said, “There’s a lot of people I want to do songs with that I’m a fan of, but my top two that I’m extremely obsessed with [are] Beyoncé and Chief Keef.” Additionally, Glo listed Drake and Lil Wayne as other potential musical link-ups.

Beyoncé certainly stole the show – as expected – at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Still, she’s not the only Black female celebrity to achieve an amazing feat thanks to her trophies. Apart from the countless singers and songwriters who were celebrated on Sunday night, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom actress Viola Davis also left the building with a new accolade.

Thanks to her work narrating her own audiobook, Finding Me, the 57-year-old is officially an EGOT. This puts her alongside the ranks of previous champions such as John Legend, Audrey Hepburn, and Jennifer Hudson. Read more about Davis’ exciting achievement here, and check back later for more pop culture updates.

Beyonce Fans Crash Etsy Store That Created Disco Ball Cowboy Hat

A woman on Etsy created Beyoncé’s “disco ball cowboy hat” which she wore in the photo for the announcement of her Renaissance World Tour. Abby Misbin, a designer, reportedly had to extend her processing time due to a flood of orders from BEYHive members. Beyoncé’s stylist reportedly messaged Abby on her Trending by Abby Etsy page in June to ask about ordering a hat for the pop star.

According to Abby, the stylist (B. Åkerlund) needed the hat finished in five days. Abby got to work encasing a cowboy hat in 10,000–15,000 mirrored tiles. She ended up charging Beyoncé $215 for the hat.

“I’m so happy so many of you want a hat and am making them as fast as I can!,” Abby wrote on Instagram. “I’ll be updating my Etsy inventory sometime in the next few days, (favorite the listing to get notified!) as well as changing the production time (2-3 months) to keep up with demand! Each hat takes a long time to perfect and I’d never want to compromise the quality! All customers deserve Beyoncè quality!”

With Bey’s world tour coming this Summer, Abby will definitely be making lots of disco ball hats.

Beyoncé Was Emotional After Breaking The Record For The Most Grammy Award Wins Of All Time

Beyoncé entered the 2023 Grammys today (February 5) already a winner. She’s the most-nominated artist of the night with nine total nods. That put her at 88 total nominations, which tied husband Jay-Z for the most in Grammy history. This made it possible for her to break the all-time record for the most total Grammy wins tonight. The record was 31 career wins, and now, the Grammy Awards have a new all-time champ: With Renaissance winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album, Beyoncé officially earned her 32nd Grammy Award and broke the record.

While announcing the winner, host Trevor Noah made it clear that history had been made. After declaring Renaissance the victor, Beyoncé took the stage for an acceptance speech. She was clearly moved by the moment, as she took a few seconds to collect herself as she stood behind the mic with her record-breaking trophy in hand.

She started, “I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God.” As she continued to speak and thank important people in her life, she appeared to be on the verge of tears as she experienced one of the biggest moments of her career/life.

Each Of Beyoncé’s Solo Album Have Now Won At Least One Grammy Award

Beyoncé isn’t nicknamed Queen Bey for nothing. Music’s biggest night, the Grammy Awards, is starting off strong for the “Cuff It” singer.

The Houston representative is just four wins away from setting the all-time record for most decorated solo artists. A record currently being held by Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti.

However, with her latest win for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for the single “Break My Soul,” she is well on her way. The win not only pushes her one victory ahead of legendary composer and producer Quincy Jones, but according to Chara Data, Beyoncé now has at least one Grammy for each of her solo albums.

Jay-Z And Beyoncé’s Roc Nation Brunch Brings Out Music’s Biggest Stars

For the first time in nearly three years, Jay-Z And Beyoncé’s Roc Nation Brunch made its post-pandemic return this weekend with the help of some of the star-studded guests. The power couple called on some of music’s biggest stars to help them celebrate the upcoming 2023 Grammys. Clips surfaced online showing that attendees were brought into Jay and Bey’s world of luxury — complete with expensive gowns, a small orchestra, and a roofless foyer decorated with photos, including a portrait of Lauren London and Nipsey Hussle.

It’s been reported that the invite-only event took place at a private residence in Los Angeles.

Like in its past iterations, a bevy of celebrities, musicians, and other tastemakers attended the swanky affair. Of course, members from Roc Nation were in attendance to show love to Jay and Bey, including DJ Khaled, Rapsody, and Joey Bada$$.

One noticeable difference this year is that the power duo arrived separately. Jay-Z was spotted attending the fancy event with renowned stylist June Ambrose. Bey was spotted alongside her longtime bodyguard Julius de Boer and stopped to chat with Lil Kim before meeting up with her husband to schmooze around with their guests like Nigerian singer Tems.

Other attendees included Swiss Beatz, Lil Uzi Vert, Chloe and Halle Bailey, G Herbo, Jacquees, Janelle Monae, J.I.D., Kelly Rowland, Lil Baby, Mustard, Miguel Pusha T, SAINt JHN, Teyana Taylor, Vic Mensa, and more. Diddy, who’s usually a fixture at the popular event, was noticeably absent this year.

Some of the artists mentioned are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance World Tour’ Tickets Are A Hot Commodity, But Zara Larsson Has A Tip

The Beyhive is feverously counting down the days until their queen, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour tickets, go on sale.

Ticketmaster has taken a few steps to ensure a smooth transaction process in the hopes of avoiding a repeat of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour debacle. Also, Ticketmaster has reportedly updated its resale policy to deter scalpers from spiking the cost of tickets. Although these measures could certainly help the average fan, Swedish pop singer Zara Larsson has her own safety net.

During a recent visit to Z100’s afternoon show, Maxwell and Crystal, Larsson spoke about how she admires Beyoncé and can’t wait to see her perform live when the Renaissance World Tour makes a stop in Stockholm.

“I’m so excited! I’m so excited! Premiere night [of the tour’s European wing]? In Stockholm? Stop,” Larsson tells co-host, Crystal Rosas.

Larsson then revealed that being an artist and superfan comes with its perks or, as she says, “Top two things about being an artist is that you meet people throughout your life that can secure you Beyoncé tickets. And it’s not number two.”

As the room laughed, Larsson doubled down, “It’s true! The fact that I’m signed to LiveNation as an artist I’m like, ‘hey, hey, hey,’ I know who to call,” later adding, “even if they make me pay for the tickets I know I can secure them which is the important part. I will be there!”

Now, if only we were all budding international pop stars.

Beyoncé Fans Use GoFundMe To Get “Renaissance” Tour Tickets

Witnessing millions of fans online try to get Beyoncé tickets has been as entertaining as the album, at least if you’re not one of the many hopeful concert-goers suffering through presale and website issues. Moreover, Beyoncé fans took to GoFundMe to ask for money to purchase tickets for the Renaissance World Tour. While their pleas range from heartfelt to funny to frustrated, the tour’s insane demand means that they’ll be tough to catch. Even with all the money in the world, it won’t help insane queue times and shows selling out lighting fast.

Furthermore, one fan wrote, “This is the only life experience I care about living before I die. I will get those front row tickets either way but this way is safer than selling my kidney on the black market.” In fact, some screenshots obtained by TMZ indicate that some people are already close to their goals. Moreover, that last commenter already garnered $225 out of his $300 goal, at least based on their screenshot. What’s more is that it makes you wonder what else people can get away with on there. Still, many of these hopefuls are Beyhive live vets. “Listen…I would love your financial support in sending me to Beyoncé World Tour 2023,” another expressed. “I haven’t missed a Beyoncé concert yet, but I got ‘bills, bills, bills.’”

Meanwhile, other fans unfortunately haven’t raised much money for their selfish but understandable cause. This comes off the heels of UK tickets going on sale just recently. As expected, the demand far outweighs the supply available, something that Live Nation maintained in a statement. According to them, demand exceeds available tickets by over 800%, and they acknowledged the many fans who won’t get to see her.

Still what do you think of the GoFundMe campaigns to raise money for Beyoncé tour tickets? Moreover, are you one of the fans who took a chance on the platform or do you already have your tickets? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest on Beyoncé and the ubiquitous Renaissance World Tour.
