Beyoncé has added a Tina Turner song to her setlist in honor of the late Queen of Rock N’ Roll. During the London set of shows, Beyoncé performed “River Deep – Mountain High,” a single made in 1996 by Turner.

Beyoncé has long expressed her admiration for Tina Turner. Bey released a statement on her website after The Queen of Rock N’ Roll’s death.

The music world is saddened and shocked by the passing of legendary singer Tina Turner. She was 83 years old.

Born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in the rural Tennessee community of Nutbush, Bullock met Ike Turner at 17, when she first began recording with the rock n roll guitarist in St Louis in 1957. The couple eventually got married in Tijuana, Mexico, shortly thereafter.

Turner’s career spanned seven decades, with her origins during the early years of rock and roll, while her evolution which spawned the classic “What’s Love Got To Do With It” in the early 1980s taking her into the era of music television. Dubbed “the Queen of Rock n’ Roll”, Turner won six of her eight Grammy Awards in the 1980s and even drew one of the largest crowds ever for a stage performance in Rio de Janeiro in 1988, attracting 180,000 people.

At that time, Turner had been free from her abusive marriage to guitarist Ike Turner for ten years.

In 1985 Turner met German music executive Erwin Bach who became her long-term partner, and in 1988 she moved to London, beginning a decades-long residency in Europe. She released two studio albums in the 1990s that sold well, especially in Europe, recorded the theme song for the 1995 Bond movie “GoldenEye,” and staged a successful world tour in 2008 and 2009.

After that, she retired from show business. She married Bach, relinquishing her U.S. citizenship and becoming a citizen of Switzerland.

She battled a number of health problems after retiring and in 2018 she faced a family tragedy, when her oldest son, Craig, took his life at age 59 in Los Angeles. Her younger son Ronnie died in December 2022.

“Tina’s story is not one of victimhood but one of incredible triumph,” Janet Jackson wrote about Turner in a Rolling Stone issue that put Turner at No. 63 on a list of the top 100 artists of all time.

Her work, contributions to music, and feminine strength will always be remembered and celebrated for generations to come.

Frank Ocean is not the type to make public appearances. The artist also hasn’t released new music in years. Because of this, it was no surprise that someone tried to make money from an AI version of him. Earlier this month, Frank fell victim to an unfortunate incident where his voice was replicated using artificial intelligence. This led to a scammer profiting immensely from it. The scammer, known as “mourningassassin,” shared a series of AI-generated tracks on Discord. They took advantage of fans’ long-standing desire for new music from the California singer. He hasn’t released an album since his 2016 effort Blond.

In an interview with Motherboard, the scammer disclosed their method of hiring a musician to create nine counterfeit Frank Ocean tracks. The musician used top-notch vocal snippets of Ocean’s voice. The scammer uploaded one of these snippets on the platform in early April. Of course, it captured the attention of numerous fans of the singer. Among those who reached out were two buyers who were willing to pay a substantial amount for Frank Ocean’s music collection. The scammer claimed to have made approximately $13,000 from this deceptive scheme.

Frank Ocean tends to be more than a little bit reclusive. As such, he understandably surprised fans by making a rare public appearance at Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” Tour show in London. Known for his elusive nature, his presence at the event garnered significant attention. Despite trying to blend in by wearing a hoodie, pictures and videos emerged of him in the crowd. At one point, it seems as though he waves at some people that noticed him. The videos were posted on the HipHopDX twitter, which you can see above.

It remains unclear what the two music moguls were discussing. Nevertheless, fans of both would certainly be happy to hear another collaboration is in the works. They’ve never teamed up as a duo. Beyoncé has been the subject of universal adoration for decades, and she’s using her Renaissance World Tour to share the love with others, from tributing Tina Knowles-Lawson on Mother’s Day and employing Natalia Bryant as an intern or literally sharing the stage with Blue Ivy, her 11-year-old daughter with Jay-Z.

Last Friday, May 26, the Renaissance World Tour hit Paris. Fan videos circulated online of Blue Ivy joining her mom and the Renaissance World Tour dancers on the Stade De France stage for “Black Parade” and “My Power.”

“Last night I saw my beautiful grandbaby (11) dance in the front of almost 70 thousand people ! She killed it and was as cool as a cucumber! Blue Ivy Carter [five red heart emojis] No Fear [two red heart emojis],” Tina Knowles-Lawson posted to Instagram over the weekend.

Beyoncé added to the praise on Monday, May 29, with her own Instagram post highlighting her daughter’s stellar moment.

“My beautiful first born [prayer hands emoji],” the all-time-most Grammy winner captioned her carousel. “I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”

Beyonce is still digging in her Renaissance bag for new releases. Rumors are now circulating about a new version of “Plastic Off The Sofa,” which would pair Queen Bey with Ariana Grande.

Earlier this month, Beyoncé released a remix of her ‘Renaissance’ track ‘America Has a Problem’ featuring a new verse from the one and only Kendrick Lamar.

The new version opens with a breakneck verse from Lamar in which he says he is an “honorary Beyhive” member and references artificial intelligence. “Hold up, wait a minute / Even AI gotta practice cloning Kendrick,” Lamar raps during his verse. “The double entendre, the encore remnants / I bop like tin men, the opps need ten men.

”It’s not the first time Beyoncé and Lamar have collaborated on a song together. Lamar featured on Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ track ‘Freedom’ in 2016. In 2019, he appeared on ‘NILE’, a track from Beyoncé’s The Lion King soundtrack album ‘The Gift’.

The Houston native revealed via Instagram recently that she’ll be expanding her business empire into the world of hair. It remains unclear exactly what products we’ll be seeing from Beyonce. Seeing as she’s well-known for having consistently fabulous locks, it’s safe to say she’ll make a ton of money. According to @ThePopTingz on Twitter, Beyonce will be joined by “The Way” songstress Ariana Grande on an updated version of “PLASTIC OFF THE SOFA.” The song has become a RENAISSANCE fan favourite, and would surely only be enhanced by the former child star’s vocal talents. Selena Gomez Confronts Beyonce’s Paris Concert’s Security

Everyone’s been going crazy at Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE tour, and her Paris show on Friday (May 26) might be her most eventful yet. Sure, there’s the spectacular concert itself spanning a lot of her best work, but the show also had quite a few famous faces show up. For example, her husband Jay-Z and Roc Nation-managed MC Megan Thee Stallion danced along to her hits and seemed to have a great time at the show. However, despite the many, many fans that went ecstatic when they saw her, it seems like Selena Gomez ran into more than that at the show. Furthermore, clips surfaced online of the actress having a heated discussion with security.

While it’s unclear what could’ve provoked this interaction, it does remind fans of another superstar that raised their voice at security at a massive concert. That time, though, it was the superstar themselves. During a Philly stop of her “Eras” tour (which is almost as in-demand and hyped as Quee Bey’s), Taylor Swift told security to get off of fans on the barricade. As such, many theorized that Selena Gomez was probably running into a similar situation, or at least something else that was hindering her experience or that of fans at the show.
